Javier Pastore has told Lionel Messi to join Palermo as he won't give way up his career in Sicily for a move to Barcelona.
Pastore appears to have changed his tune over the weekend as on Friday he told Spanish media of his wish to join the Azulgrana. That notion, though, has been pushed away and the Argentinean playmaker has told Messi to join him at the Rosanero.
"I know that many teams want me, many important clubs, including Barcelona," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.
"I often talk to Messi, I want to stay here at Palermo, in fact I am the one who tells him to come here."
