Roma could delve into the market for another defender before the transfer window slams shut, and Maurizio Domizzi's agent has hinted that a move could still be on the cards for the Udinese centre-back.
"At the moment, I don't have any newsworthy information on Roma," Danilo Caravello told Calciomercato.it.
"We were in contact some time ago. It is the last day of the transfer market, anything is possible, even if the complexity of the transfer could present an obstacle.
"The Giallorossi would like a loan deal with a right to buy."
Caravello's assertion that the transfer may not be as straightforward as a simple loan deal could suggest that the Zebrette will exchange Domizzi on loan for a Giallorossi player.
This is likely to be Marco Andreolli, who would find a first team place hard to come by if Domizzi was to join the club. For Luciano Spalletti, however, Philippe Mexes, Juan, Nicolas Burdisso and Domizzi would be a selection headache worth having.
Meanwhile, Roma midfielder Ricardo Faty is on the verge of leaving the club. Livorno are considering a loan deal for the Frenchman, who would prefer a move back to his homeland. Auxerre, Racing Club de Lens and Grenoble are all chasing the 23-year-old, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
