Huracan Youngster Javier Pastore Rejected Opportunity To Join Manchester United - Agent

The agent of Huracan's Javier Pastore has claimed that his client has spurned the chance to join Premier League giants Manchester United.

Apparently, the Red Devils made a €10 million (£8.8m) offer for the 19-year-old midfielder, who is highly regarded in his native Argentina.

It is thought that a host of European clubs are tracking the Cordoba-born star, and his representative Marcelo Simonian says he is holding out for the right offer.

"
I received an offer of €10 million for Pastore but the player isn't interested so much in money as he wants to be transferred to a team where he can play and grow up," Simonian told Diario Ole.

"We want the correct team and project."

One such club believed to be monitoring the progress of the youngster is Serie A outfit Lazio, but while Simonian says they are yet to make contact, he believes it is a move Pastore would be interested in.

"
Nobody from Lazio has spoken with me, but that could be a good team.

"
But I can only imagine that as I haven't received any proposal for him."
