Commentary

That brings an end to our coverage of the Premier League fixture between Wolves and Arsenal at Molineux. Thank you very much for joining us. Goodbye!
Wolves travel to Watford next time out as they look to continue their good form. Arsenal, meanwhile, are away at Leicester as they seek to bounce back.
After an end-to-end match, Wolves deservedly come away with the win thanks to three first-half goals. Neves found the net with a sublime free-kick after 28 minutes to open the scoring before Doherty’s header flew beyond Leno to double the hosts’ lead nine minutes later. Jota added to the scoring one minute before the break when he beat Leno with a fierce left-footed effort from the centre of the box. After the restart, Arsenal piled on the pressure and pulled one back through Sokratis when he headed Xhaka’s corner into the back of the net, but Wolves held on to claim a famous victory.
90' + 4' FULL TIME: WOLVES 3-1 ARSENAL
90' + 3' Adama is brought down by Kolasinac and Wolves win a free-kick down the right wing. It is taken short and Gibbs-White takes the ball to the corner as the hosts look to run down the clock.
90' + 2' Arsenal continue to pile on the pressure in the final minutes of the game as they look to force the issue. Xhaka scoops the ball over the top of the Wolves defence for Nketiah, but the young striker is flagged for offside.
90' There will be four added minutes at the end of this match.
M. Gibbs-White
João Moutinho
90' The home side make their final change as Moutinho is replaced by Gibbs-White for the final few minutes of the game.
88' Jonny is dragged to the floor by Xhaka down the left-hand side and Wolves win a free-kick. The hosts take the set-piece short as they look to keep the ball.
86' There is going to be a brief stoppage in play as Koscielny is down and in need of attention following an awkward fall. The Arsenal captain is back to his feet and able to continue.
R. Bennett
Yellow Card
84' Ozil gets away down the left and drills a low cross into the area which Neves turns behind for a corner. Xhaka overhits this one and Nketiah is able to keep it in down the right for Arsenal before being blocked off by Bennett. The Wolves defender receives a yellow card.
Adama Traoré
R. Jiménez
82' Wolves make their second change of the game as Traore comes on to replace Jimenez. There are less than 10 minutes to play.
G. Xhaka
Assist
80' Arsenal have long been knocking at the door but have been unable to produce a moment of real quality to break down Wolves’ well-organised defence. Xhaka, however, delivered an inch-perfect corner for Sokratis to head home from a few yards out.
S. Papastathopoulos
Goal
80' GOAL! Arsenal pull one back! Xhaka swings in a wonderful corner from the left which is nodded into the back of the net by Sokratis from close range. 3-1.
Ivan Cavaleiro
Diogo Jota
78' The hosts make their first substitution of the match as the scorer of the third goal, Jota, is replaced by Cavaleiro.
77' Coady pulls back Lacazette just inside the Wolves half and Arsenal are given a free-kick.
75' Arsenal not won back-to-back league games on the road since October, while they’ve not kept consecutive away league clean sheets since February 2016.
73' GREAT BLOCK! Nketiah gets away from Boly down the right-side of the Wolves penalty area before pulling it back across goal for Lacazette to attack. The Frenchman gets there first but Bennett gets over to make a brilliant tackle to deny Lacazette.
E. Nketiah
A. Iwobi
71' Arsenal make their final change of the game as Iwobi is replaced by Nketiah. There are 20 minutes left to play.
69' The Gunners continue to dominate the ball but cannot find a way through. Ozil cuts inside from the left and looks to combine with Lacazette, but Wolves are able to cut out the danger and hook the ball to safety.
67' WIDE! Jota slips the ball in behind the Arsenal defence for Jonny who cuts back onto his right foot and floats the ball over to the right for Jimenez. The Mexican takes the ball down well but drags his right-footed effort well wide of the far post. He should have done better there.
65' Lacazette is putting himself about but is not getting the service at present. Once again, the Frenchman makes a good run in behind the Wolves defence, but the pass in towards the striker is overhit and runs out for a goal-kick.
63' Arsenal are looking out of ideas as we enter the final 30 minutes of the game. Wolves are happy to sit deep and soak up the pressure knowing that they can hurt the visitors on the break.
61' The Gunners have enjoyed 72 per cent of the possession thus far in the game but have been unable to cause Wolves too many problems.
M. Guendouzi
L. Torreira
59' It is a double change for the away side as Guendouzi replaces Torreira. It remains 3-0.
S. Kolašinac
H. Mkhitaryan
58' Arsenal make their first change of the game as they look to find a way back into the match. Mkhitaryan makes way for Kolasinac.
58' Wolves win a free-kick just inside of the Arsenal half as Sokratis rather cynically drags Jota to the floor.
56' OPENING! Wolves break again with pace down the right-hand side as Jimenez bursts away from Monreal before floating a ball in towards Jota at the far post. The Portuguese striker fails to get the ball under control despite being left one-on-one with Leno and Arsenal clear their lines.
54' Doherty spots the run of Jimenez ahead of him but Koscielny reads the situation expertly and comes across to make the interception.
52' The away side continue to dominate the ball but are struggling to find a way through Wolves’ resolute defensive line. Xhaka sends a searching ball over to the right towards Ozil, but the pass is overhit and it runs out for a throw-in to Wolves.
50' Wolves have never beaten Arsenal in the Premier League in their previous nine attempts. Can they hold on to secure a famous victory in the second half?
48' Arsenal have started on the front foot after break as Xhaka slides the ball to his left for Monreal, but the Spaniard’s left-footed effort from distance sails over the top of Patricio’s goal.
46' We are back underway! Wolves get the second half kicked off.
Wolves will be delighted with their first half display and will look to continue in the same fashion after the break. Jonny has been at the heart of everything for Wolves and the hosts will look to the Spaniard to cause Arsenal further problems on the break in the second half. Arsenal, meanwhile, will seek to get Ozil involved more frequently as look for a route back into the game.
After an entertaining half of football, Wolves deservedly lead at the break. Neves fired the home side in front when his free-kick from 25 yards found the back of the net after 28 minutes, before Doherty made it two with a close-range header nine minutes later. Arsenal looked for a quick response but after losing the ball in their own half one minute before half time, Jota seized the opportunity and fired his low effort beyond Leno to give the hosts a three-goal lead at half time.
45' + 3' HALF TIME: WOLVES 3-0 ARSENAL
Diogo Jota
Goal
45' + 2' GOAL! Jota makes it three! The away side sloppily lose possession their own half and Jota picks up the loose ball before driving towards the Arsenal goal. After skipping away from Sokratis, Jota’s low effort from the centre of the box is too powerful for Leno to keep out and the Portuguese attacker’s strike finds the back of the net. 3-0.
45' There will be two added minutes at the end of the first half.
L. Torreira
Yellow Card
45' Torreira receives a yellow card after going in late Neves. The Arsenal midfielder can have no complaints about that decision.
43' Doherty is causing real problems for Arsenal down the right flank as he cuts inside after receiving a good pass from Dendoncker, but Monreal is quickly across to block the Wolves defender’s left-footed shot from the right-side of the area.
41' Mkhitaryan tries his luck from distance, but the Armenian sees his effort blocked and Wolves hook the ball to safety.
39' Jonny is down for a brief moment but the Spaniard is able to continue after quickly returning to his feet.
Jonny Castro
Assist
37' Arsenal were caught sleeping from the short corner and Jonny produces an inch-perfect cross which Doherty rises to meet and nod beyond Leno from close range. Arsenal are struggling to contain Jonny here.
M. Doherty
Goal
37' GOAL! WOLVES DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! Wolves work a short corner down the left-hand side which is delivered expertly into the area by Jonny. The Spaniard’s delivery is met by Doherty who rises highest in the centre of the area to steer his header beyond Leno and into the back of the net. 2-0.
35' Lacazette skips away from Jonny down the right wing following a sublime ball into the Frenchman from Xhaka. The Arsenal attacker creates room for a shot on the right-side of the box, but he cuts across his effort and it flies well wide of the near post.
33' DEFLECTED! Neves tries his luck from another free-kick from the edge of the box, but this time his effort is deflected behind for a corner. The set-piece is swung in from the right, but Bennett can only steer his header wide of the far post from the centre of the box.
G. Xhaka
Yellow Card
31' Xhaka goes into the book for dissent following a foul by Koscielny on Jota.
30' CHANCE! Wolves hit Arsenal with another incredibly quick counter-attack as Jonny drives at the heart of the visitors’ defence. The Spaniard slides the ball over to his right for Jimenez, but the Wolves striker fires over the bar from the right side of the area.
Rúben Neves
Goal
28' WHAT A GOAL! WOLVES TAKE THE LEAD! Neves steps up to take the free-kick following the foul on Jonny and the Portuguese midfielder whips a fierce effort over the wall and into bottom left corner of the net and beyond Leno from 25 yards out. 1-0.
Nacho Monreal
Yellow Card
27' Following a quick break from the hosts, Jonny skips away from Monreal who brings him to the floor on the edge of the area. Wolves win a free-kick in a dangerous area and Monreal receives a yellow card.
25' JUST OVER! Coady sends a long throw-in deep into the box which is flicked on by Boly. The header drops to Jimenez in the centre of the box, but the Mexican fails to steer his effort from close range under the bar.
24' Wolves are beginning to find their feet now as the hosts look to patiently work the ball around from deep. Following a loose ball, Jota wins a free-kick from Sokratis in the centre of the field after a high boot.
22' WIDE! Dendoncker floats the ball out to the right once more for Doherty who drives in-field and slides a pass into the path of Moutinho. The Portuguese international whips his effort just wide of the near post from 25 yards out.
20' OPENING! Some intricate football between Torreira and Lacazette on the edge of the area sees the Frenchman find Iwobi in space in the box, but his delivery back across goal evades everyone in an Arsenal shirt and Wolves clear their lines.
18' Following the foul on Monreal, Torreira fires the free-kick straight into the Wolves wall and it runs out for a throw-in to the away side.
M. Doherty
Yellow Card
17' Iwobi and Monreal link-up smartly on the edge of the Wolves box and Doherty pulls the Spaniard to the floor as he looked to burst into the area. The Wolves defender goes into the book.
16' Maitland-Niles sends Mkhitaryan away down the right flank, but the Armenian’s low cross has too much on it for Ozil and Lacazette as Patricio once again gathers it with ease.
14' The visitors work the play around neatly inside the Wolves half before Torreira looks to slide in Lacazette. Patricio, however, is quickly off his line to gather the loose ball.
13' The hosts are starting to find their rhythm now. Dendoncker looks to spread a quick pass over to the right for Doherty, but the effort is slightly overhit and Monreal is well positioned to make the interception.
11' Doherty looks to send a long, searching throw-in down the right-hand side for Jimenez to chase, but the Mexican fails to keep it in and Arsenal win a goal-kick.
9' Wolves are struggling to break out of their own half at present with the Gunners continuing to dominate the ball.
7' Arsenal win a corner to the left off Doherty and the set-piece is taken short. The away side eventually swing the ball in towards the far post where Sokratis is free to knock it back across the box, but Wolves are able to scramble it away.
5' Arsenal are enjoying the majority of the possession in the opening minutes of the game as they patiently look to work an opening. Mkhitaryan combines well with Ozil on the edge of the Wolves box before the Armenian pulls a shot well wide of the near post.
3' Moutinho swings in a free-kick from deep down the left-hand side following a foul by Torreira, but the delivery is easily gathered by Leno.
2' The away side have enjoyed a strong start to proceedings as they confidently knock the back around in the centre of the park. Wolves, however, are looking to press Arsenal at every opportunity.
1' Kick-off! The referee, Stuart Attwell, blows his whistle and Arsenal get the game underway.
The teams are out and kick-off will soon be upon us here at Molineux.
