UEFA Europa League Qualifiers

Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
West Ham are away at Leicester City on Wednesday in their next Premier League game, while Everton host Newcastle United on Tuesday.
The Premier League contest ends all square between West Ham and Everton at London Stadium. Issa Diop put the Hammers ahead with a fine header from a precise free-kick from Robert Snodgrass in the 40th minute. The visitors responded through Dominic Calvert-Lewin before half-time, nodding home at the back post after Mason Holgate flicked on Lucas Digne's cross. Jordan Pickford was required to make a super reaction stop to deny Pablo Fornals' header, while in the second half Tom Davies and Anthony Gordon both missed good opportunities for the Toffees. A draw is probably the fair result, although it will suit Everton a lot more than David Moyes' men, who sit just one point above the relegation zone in 16th place.
90' + 5' West Ham are able to clear their lines from the resulting corner.
90' + 4' BLOCK! Digne's free-kick is cleared as far as Davies on the edge of the box and he lines up a blast at goal. It looks to be heading towards the target, but Haller puts his body on the line to divert it over.
P. Zabaleta
Yellow Card
90' + 3' Zabaleta is booked for the challenge on Gordon.
90' + 3' Zabaleta commits a cynical challenge wiping out Gordon on the left flank. Everton will get a chance to whip a free-kick into the box for the final act of the game.
90' There will be four minutes of added time.
90' Ajeti may have nudged his head into Holgate, although there's not enough contact for it to be deemed violent conduct.
89' Holgate and Ajeti collide on the edge of the box and it leaves the defender on the deck. VAR wants to take a second look at this.
87' Both sides appear to be running out of ideas as we reach the end of the contest. There's a lot of effort being put out there, but not a great deal of quality.
85' Calvert-Lewin catches Zabaleta late as he battles for possession on the edge of the box, giving away a free-kick to the Hammers.
A. Ajeti
M. Lanzini
84' Ajeti replaces Lanzini for the home side for the closing stages of the game.
83' Calvert-Lewin has space on the edge of the box, but he plants his right-footed strike wide of the target.
82' Diop tries to send a ball over the top for the run of Lanzini, but the Argentine is caught offside.
81' Calvert-Lewin turns in the final third before releasing Coleman down the right flank, but his cross is cleared away from Niasse by Diop.
79' Snodgrass' delivery is poor and cleared by the first Everton defender at the near post. Not what the Hammers needed there.
78' Digne brings down Snodgrass down the right flank and West Ham win a free-kick in a similar position to Diop's goal from the first half.
76' Sidibe tries to release Niasse down the right flank, but Ogbonna tracks his run and clears the ball off the legs of the forward to win a throw-in.
O. Niasse
M. Kean
74' Kean makes way for Niasse in the final third for the Toffees.
72' There has been a rare lull in proceedings in the second half. Both teams could be catching their breath for a surge towards the end of the game.
70' Haller rises to meet a cross from Cresswell from the left flank, but he guides his effort harmlessly wide of the target.
69' CLOSE! Snodgrass collects on the right flank and he cuts inside to shoot on his left foot. Digne gets a deflection on the ball, but it still travels dangerously towards the bottom-left corner, just drifting wide of the post.
67' It is an open contest in the second half. Both teams are capable of scoring what could be a decisive third goal in the game.
65' Digne wins a corner for the visitors with a surging run down the left. He lifts the resulting cross into the box and Mina rises highest. The Colombia defender heads his effort into the ground, but Randolph is able to make a comfortable save.
63' Everton are able to clear their lines from the resulting set-piece. The second half has seen a stronger performance from the visitors.
62' Masuaku has a driving run at Coleman and he wins a corner off the legs of the defender.
61' SAVE! Cresswell flicks in a cross from the angle and Haller rises to head at goal with power. PIckford takes the ball out of the air, but loses his balance in the process. He just manages to keep the ball from crossing the line in his grasp.
A. Masuaku
Pablo Fornals
60' Masuaku replaces Fornals on the left flank for the home side.
59' OVER! Mina rises highest in the box to meet a corner from Digne on the left flank, but he sends his header over the bar amid a crowd of players in the six-yard box.
D. Sidibé
T. Walcott
57' Walcott makes way for Sidibe on the right flank. The winger was having a decent game.
56' Pickford comes a long way off his line to claim a cross from Zabaleta. He fails to claim the ball and is stranded off his line, but fortunately for the keeper, Holgate is in place to clear from Ogbonna's hooked effort at goal.
55' Snodgrass rises at the back post to attempt to head Cresswell's cross towards goal, but he can only guide his effort over the bar.
53' Ogbonna makes an important interception at the back for the home side to cut out Calvert-Lewin's attempted throughball for Kean.
51' CLOSE! Everton should be ahead. Digne curls a dangerous corner into the middle and the Hammers fail to clear their lines. Davies meets it on the bounce with his head, but he can only guide his attempt wide of the target.
50' WIDE! Walcott surges down the right flank once more. He cuts the ball back towards the near post for Calvert-Lewin, but Diop does enough to divert his attempted strike wide of the target.
49' OVER! Digne heads Walcott into the right inside channel and he fires a low ball across the face of goal. Randolph turns it away, but Kean tees up Gordon to strike, but the substitute blazes his effort over the bar.
47' West Ham have won just one of their last seven PL games when level at half time (D2 L4), a 1-0 victory against Chelsea in November.
46' We're back underway at London Stadium.
A. Gordon
46' Gordon replaces Bernard for the visitors at the break.
West Ham have been lively in the final third and should probably be ahead at half-time. David Moyes will be pleased to see that his side have created opportunities in the final third, but will want to see a clinical edge. Sebastien Haller in particularly has to come to the fore for his team in the second period.
It's all square at the break at London Stadium between West Ham and Everton. Both teams have been playing expansive football in the final third and it has been a lively contest. The Hammers broke the deadlock as Issa Diop headed home from Robert Snodgrass' free-kick. However, the Toffees responded with a goal from a set-piece of their own. Dominic Calvert-Lewin converted at the back post after Mason Holgate flicked on Lucas Digne's corner. There was still time for Jordan Pickford to deny Pablo Fornals with a fine stop before half-time, keeping the scores level.
45' + 1' WHAT A SAVE! Pickford keeps Everton level at the break with a fine reaction stop to deny Fornals. The Spaniard meets a cross from the right flank from Zabaleta and directs his header low towards the bottom-right corner. However, Pickford displays great reactions to stick out a hand to divert it over the bar.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
M. Holgate
44' Holgate flicks on Digne's corner from the right flank and Calvert-Lewin is there to convert.
D. Calvert-Lewin
44' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! CALVERT-LEWIN LEVELS THE SCORES!!!! 1-1!!! The Toffees are only behind for four minutes as they respond from a set-piece of their own. Digne takes a corner from the right flank and he whips his delivery into a dangerous area. Holgate rises to flick it towards the back post where Calvert-Lewin gets behind Zabaleta to nod home from close range. The forward maintains his good run of form under Ancelotti.
43' Everton win a corner down the right flank following pressing by Walcott, earning the set-piece off the legs of Cresswell.
R. Snodgrass
40' Snodgrass puts a fine delivery into the box for Diop to attack and score.
I. Diop
40' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! DIOP HEADS WEST HAM IN FRONT!!! 1-0!!! The Hammers take the lead from a set-piece as Diop stoops to guide a header beyond Pickford into the bottom-left corner. Snodgrass takes the free-kick on the right flank and provides a brilliant inswinging cross on his left foot for the defender to attack. Diop glances his effort away from the Everton keeper to find the net and put Moyes' men ahead.
39' Lanzini draws a foul from Delph on the right flank and the Hammers win a free-kick in a decent position.
37' It has been an open game thus far, but neither side has been able to take their opportunities in front of goal. More so in the case of the Hammers, who have to force the issue here.
35' Noble lines up a strike from the edge of the box to attempt to catch out Pickford after being teed up by Cresswell, but his effort travels wide of the target.
33' OVER! Haller makes a run in the box to meet a cross from Cresswell from the left flank, but he sends his headed effort over the bar from close range.
32' CLOSE! Digne latches on to a precise offload from Delph in the left inside channel. He hammers a ball across the face of goal, which Calvert-Lewin flings himself towards. The forward fails to make contact with a diving header. Walcott is there at the back post, but he can only steer a tame strike into the hands of Randolph.
29' Snodgrass runs at Holgate down the right flank and into the box, but the defender holds his ground to win possession.
28' Bernard clips a cross into the box and Calvert-Lewin attempts to nod it back towards Kean, but Randolph is sharp off his line to gather the loose ball.
26' Lanzini probes with menace at the Everton defence and he almost forces a low ball towards Haller at the back post. Only an intervention from Digne with an outstretched leg prevents the cross from reaching the forward.
25' CHANCE! Digne loses possession and it allows Noble to send Haller through on goal in the right inside channel. He shoots low towards the near post, but Pickford remains big and sticks out a leg to divert his strike past the post.
23' Snodgrass tries to get the better of Digne down the right flank. He gets past the Frenchman, but Holgate arrives in support to win the ball.
22' OFFSIDE! Snodgrass latches on to Lanzini's pass and races through to slot the ball past Pickford, but the flag is up long before he puts his strike into the net. He is clearly behind the last man as he takes possession.
20' BLOCK! Delph gets back to put his body on the line to deny Zabaleta on the volley following good work from Rice and Snodgrass to set up the opportunity in the right inside channel.
19' WIDE! Noble shifts the ball on to his right foot with a neat move to swing a cross into the box from the left flank. Haller rises above Mina to head at goal, but he glances his attempt wide of the target.
18' Digne works space for an opening down the left flank and he hangs a cross to the back post, but it just sails over the heads of Coleman and Calvert-Lewin.
16' It has been a even start to the game from both sides. They've each had periods of possession, but neither has been able to carve out a clear-cut opening at goal as of yet.
14' Delph clips a long ball over the top of the West Ham defence for Digne to chase, but the full-back just cannot keep it alive on the stretch.
12' Snodgrass takes possession in a decent position and looks for the run of Lanzini. However, the Argentine stops in his tracks and the ball trickles through into the arms of Pickford.
9' Rice fends off a challenge from Kean, but catches the forward in the face with his hand in the process. The referee awards a free-kick to the Toffees in their own half.
7' Coleman sends Kean into space down the right flank and he wins a throw-in off the legs of Ogbonna.
6' SAVE! West Ham break forward on a counter and Lanzini tries to thread the needle to release Snodgrass. Holgate makes an interception, but Snodgrass is able to gather it anyway. He cuts inside to shoot on his left foot, only to drill a strike straight at Pickford.
4' Everton are able to clear their lines from Lanzini's delivery to ease the pressure.
3' Mina sends a backpass towards Pickford on the right side of his area with pace, but the England keeper can only slice his clearance behind for a corner.
1' We're underway at London Stadium.
West Ham have won just three of their last 23 Premier League matches against Everton (D6 L14), keeping just one clean sheet in that run, a 0-0 draw in April 2017.
There are four changes to Everton's team from their win over Brighton last time out. Mina returns to the line-up to replace Kean in the defence, while Coleman ousts Sidibe from the right-back slot. Richarlison is out with a knee injury, which sees Kean start in his place alongside Calvert-Lewin. Delph comes into the midfield in place of the injured Gylfi Sigurdsson.
West Ham have made four changes to their side from their defeat to Sheffield United. Randolph comes straight into the Hammers team after signing from Middlesbrough during the week, replacing the injured Lukasz Fabianski. Diop comes back into the team in the middle of the backline, while Fornals and Snodgrass start on the wings. Balbuena and Masuaku drop to the bench, while Felipe Anderson misses out with a back problem.
EVERTON SUBS: Leighton Baines, Morgan Schneiderlin, Djibril Sidibe, Maarten Stekelenburg, Oumar Niasse, Lewis Gibson, Anthony Gordon.
EVERTON (4-4-2): Jordan Pickford; Seamus Coleman, Yerry Mina, Mason Holgate, Lucas Digne; Theo Walcott, Tom Davies, Fabian Delph, Bernard; Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Moise Kean.
WEST HAM SUBS: Winston Reid, Fabian Balbuena, Goncalo Cardoso, David Martin, Arthur Masuaku, Albian Ajeti, Jeremy Ngakia.
WEST HAM (4-4-1-1): Darren Randolph; Pablo Zabaleta, Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell; Robert Snodgrass, Mark Noble, Declan Rice, Pablo Fornals; Manuel Lanzini; Sebastien Haller.
Everton continue their solid form since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti with a win over Brighton and Hove Albion last time out. Richarlison scored the only goal of the game to lift the Toffees up to 11th in the Premier League. The club are not out of contention for a place in Europe next season, but they have to maintain their recent standard of performances. Securing wins on the road will be an important test of their mettle and Ancelotti will be eyeing the second away win of his tenure.
West Ham begin the contest one place and one point above the relegation zone at the foot of the Premier League. The Hammers suffered a controversial 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United last time out as Declan Rice's handball in the build-up cancelled out Robert Snodgrass' late leveller. Rice was furious to say the least with the VAR decision, but it did not change the result and it leaves the club in dire need of a response this afternoon. They crushed Bournemouth 4-0 last time out on home soil in David Moyes' first game back as manager and he will be hopeful that they can produce a similar performance against one of his old teams.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between West Ham and Everton at London Stadium.
