Commentary

Unbelievable scenes at the Hawthorns as Livermore pokes the ball over the line to send the home fans wild and stave off relegation for a little while longer. It was an incredible performance by West Brom, who have now picked up 10 points in four games under Darren Moore; made better by the fact that seven of those points were against teams in the top-four. Tottenham were dominant throughout but found Foster and his defenders to be in fine form. The introduction of Lucas looked to have given Spurs the edge before Livermore struck in the dying minutes of the game. Their safety remains out of their own hands but the Baggies have done incredibly well to get to where they are and their fans certainly dare to dream.
FULL-TIME: WEST BROM 1-0 TOTTENHAM.
90' + 5' Bournemouth have beaten Swansea 1-0, so West Brom's survival could go to the final day if Southampton fail to beat Everton in the late kick off today.
90' + 4' CHANCE! Llorente rises high to meet a cross from the left wing but his header is well saved by Foster. Less than a minute left for Spurs to find an equaliser.

Goal
90' + 2' GOAL! Against all odds and against the run of play, West Brom have found a way through! Another corner is brilliantly delivered and Dawson rises highest to meet it. His powerful header is saved by the feet of Lloris, but a scramble in front of the goal is eventually poked over the line by Livermore.
90' + 2' Another West Brom corner. Another chance to find a winner.
90' + 1' West Brom are five minutes away from being relegated from the Premier League unless they find a winner here.
90' The fourth official has indicated five minutes of additional time.
90' Brilliant delivery again, this time by Phillips. It finds its way to Krychowiak at the back post but he can only fire his shot high over the bar.
89' West Brom have a corner at the other end. Can they find a winner?
88' SHOT! Tottenham come forward again and this time Son tries to go alone. His driven effort from the left of the box is straight into the hands of Foster.
G. Krychowiak
J. McClean

86' Lucas is causing problems for the West Brom defence again as he worms his way between two defenders. It is hammered out of play by Dawson though.
Llorente
J. Vertonghen
85' Vertonghen is replaced by Llorente due to injury. The Spaniard will join Kane as a front two.
83' Time is running out for West Brom and they are not looking any closer to finding a goal. Tottenham are dominating possession and spending plenty of time in the West Brom half.
82' Lucas has been lively since he has come on and he has earned Tottenham a free kick in a promising position, following a foul by Brunt.

J. Rodriguez
79' Rodriguez is replaced by Chadli in West Brom's second change of the game.
Lucas Moura
E. Lamela
78' Lamela is replaced by Lucas as Mauricio Pochettino looks for a creative spark to unlock this West Brom defence.
77' The Spurs corner is cleared easily by West Brom and the returning chipped pass into the box is straight out of play for a goal kick. Tottenham have lacked a cutting edge for the best of this game. They haven't regularly tested this West Brom back line.
77' Kane is stopped once more by Hegazi, but Spurs have a corner.
75' Another great delivery from the set piece and Hegazi is the man to get on the end of it again. This time his low pass rolls straight across the face of goal before being hammered clear by a Spurs defender. West Brom have just under 15 minutes to find a goal here. It is all or nothing now.
74' CHANCE! Brunt's free kick finds Hegazi on the left of the box. The Egyptian heads it back into the danger area and Sturridge gets in behind Kane to chip it towards goal. He does not make clean contact with it though and Lloris can tip it out for a corner.
D. Sturridge
S. Rondón
74' Substitution José Salomón Rondón Giménez Daniel Andre Sturridge
73' More Spurs pressure comes to an end as Rondon wins a free kick on the halfway line. It looks to be his last action of the game as Sturridge readies himself to come on.
71' Spurs are piling on the pressure but their latest attack comes to nothing. The ball is immediately launched up towards Rondon but the striker cannot muscle his way beyond Vertonghen and Sanchez.
68' Spurs continue to dominate but Hegazi is again in the right place at the right time to clear the danger. He has been the best player on the pitch for the Baggies this afternoon.
Son Heung-Min
D. Alli
67' Alli is replaced by Son in Tottenham's first substitution of the game.
A. Nyom
Yellow Card
65' Nyom is booked for his part in the argument with Rose. The defender is furious with the Tottenham defender though and his temper is threatening to boil over a bit here.
D. Rose
Yellow Card
65' Rose is booked for an argument with Nyom. He can count himself lucky it isn't more as he looked to have caught the West Brom defender in the face with a push of his hand.
62' Eriksen's free kick dips towards the left corner but Foster gets across well to punch it clear. Tottenham take the short corner again but it is easily dealt with by West Brom.
Ahmed Hegazi
Yellow Card
61' Hegazi receives the first yellow card of the game for bringing down Alli as the England international skipped around him.
60' 30 minutes left and Tottenham are in total control at the moment. It is not looking good for West Brom.
58' It is a great delivery by Brunt but the Baggies can not make the most of it. Dawson takes the ball away from Hegazi at the back post, who looked better positioned to shoot, before the Egyptian centre-back volleys wide from a tight angle at the far post.
57' West Brom clear their lines and Rondon does well to wrestle away from Sanchez and retain possession. Vertonghen races back to help his teammate and concedes the free kick. Opportunity on the set piece for West Brom here.
56' Spurs are showing a lot more intent in the final third in these opening 10 minutes. They are moving the ball around much quicker and are starting to stretch this West Brom defence. The Baggies are doing all they can to hang on at the moment.
54' CHANCE! Some wonderful attacking play by Tottenham completely carves open the West Brom defence. A first-time pass towards Alli in the box looks destined to result in a goal, but Foster is quick off his line to smother the opportunity. Excellent goalkeeping.
51' SHOT! Eriksen has space on the right wing and finds Kane with a cross, but the England striker can only head over the bar.
50' The second half has begun exactly at the first half did. Spurs are throwing attack after attack at the West Brom defence but they have yet to find the killer pass to trouble the Baggies.
48' CHANCE! And a big chance at that! Phillips does excellently to race away from Wanyama on the right wing. He fires a low cross in to the box, which rolls through the legs of Sanchez and into the feet of Rondon. The striker only has the goalkeeper to beat but he miscues his shot, catching the ball between both feet before being forced wide by the Spurs defenders. He could be left to rue that missed opportunity come the end of the game.
46' Tottenham get the game back underway. West Brom have 45 minutes to keep their season alive.
The two sides are back out on the pitch, ahead of the start of the second half.
STAT: West Brom’s only two home Premier League wins over Spurs have been in seasons in which they’ve been relegated (2005-06 and 2008-09).
All square at the Hawthorns but both sides could have had the lead here. Kane was denied by a brilliant reaction save by Foster before glancing a header wide from the resulting corner. West Brom spent the best part of 40 minutes on the back foot but came close to scoring themselves when Rodriguez's cross-shot was cleared off the line. The Baggies need a goal to keep alive their survival hopes, so they will have to come out and attack in the second half.
HALF-TIME: WEST BROM 0-0 TOTTENHAM.
45' The fourth official has indicated one minute of additional time.
44' CHANCE! The corner finds Hegazi inside the box but the Egyptian can only glance his header wide of the far post.
43' The Baggies are ending the half strongly as they maintain a spell of attacking pressure. They are firing in cross after cross and Tottenham are just clearing it straight back to them. The latest of those has resulted in a corner for the home side.
41' CHANCE! West Brom have been on the back foot all game but come really close to taking the lead. A free kick from the left evades everyone in the box but Rodriguez races in at the back post to meet it. He heads the ball into his own path before dinking a cross towards the back post. It looks to be bouncing in but it is hammered clear off the line by Alderweireld.
40' Good news for West Brom fans, as Bournemouth have taken the lead against Swansea! As things stand, West Brom will move to within two points of their relegation rivals with a win here.
39' Tottenham have a free kick in a dangerous area and Eriksen is over it. He goes for the shot but it is straight at the wall.
37' Spurs work the ball patiently around the edge of the West Brom box. It comes to Rose on the left wing who accelerates beyond Nyom on the left wing and fires in a low cross. It finds Vertonghen inside the box but he is unable to direct his effort on target, under pressure from Hegazi.
34' Much better from Tottenham! Lamela's first-time pass slices open the West Brom defence, but Kane is unable to get there ahead of Foster. They are starting to look much more dangerous when they come forward now.
32' STAT: Harry Kane has scored seven goals in his six Premier League appearances against West Brom, including three in three at the Hawthorns.
30' CHANCE! Well, chances. Firstly Kane finds himself with space inside the box and fires a first-time effort towards the far corner, which is kept out by a brilliant reaction save by Foster. The resulting corner finds Kane again but he can only head wide of the left post, under pressure from Hegazi. Better from Tottenham though.
27' Spurs continue to dominate possession and West Brom's defence continues to hold firm. West Brom will have to come out and attack at some point though, as only a win will keep them in with a chance of avoiding relegation.
24' SHOT! West Brom's attack comes to a tame end and Spurs can counter. Alli slides the ball to Wanyama on the edge of the box, who's curling effort is tipped over the crossbar by Foster. The resulting corner is taken short again, but the shot by Rose is wayward and high into the stands.
21' West Brom finally make it beyond the halfway line as Phillips darts down the right wing. He fires a low cross in towards the six-yard box but there is no teammate there to meet it. Easy clearance in the end for Sanchez.
19' SHOT! Eriksen drifts past his marker outside the box and unleashes a driven effort on goal, but it can only find the head of a defender. Excellent defending so far by the Baggies.
16' McClean tries to bring the ball out this time and he is immediately closed down by Rose. Spurs win the ball high up the pitch but a chipped pass cannot find the run of Alli inside the box. Dawson clears. All Spurs still.
13' Hegazi positions himself well to intercept Trippier's pass for Lamela. The defender tries to bring the ball out of defence but overruns it. Spurs are just being handed the ball back as soon as they lose it at the moment, West Brom are struggling to keep hold of it for longer than a couple of seconds.
10' Spurs have enjoyed a whopping 80% of possession in these opening 10 minutes. West Brom are simply holding their shape at the back and hoping for an opportunity to counter.
9' West Brom finally get a spell of possession but it is straight back to Tottenham after a long ball up towards Rondon is cleaned up comfortably by Spurs.
7' This time Eriksen slides a simple pass from the corner to Kane inside the penalty area. Luckily for the Baggies, Kane completely mistimes his shot and can only roll it weakly into the feet of a defender.
6' Tottenham work a short corner on the right wing but it is blocked at the first man for another corner.
4' Spurs are having a comfortable time of possession in and around the halfway line. West Brom are sitting back a bit and it is giving time to the men out wide for Tottenham to swing in dangerous crosses. The Baggies are holding out well so far though.
2' A Spurs attack comes to a tame end as a cross from the right drops straight into the hands of Foster. The West Brom players look up for this and their fans certainly are. They are providing an incredible atmosphere in the Hawthorns.
1' The Hawthorns is rocking as Rodriguez gets the game underway for West Brom.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
There are four changes to the Tottenham side that beat Watford on Monday. Alderweireld, Rose, Wanyama and Lamela all come into the side, replacing Mousa Dembele, Eric Dier, Son and Davies.
West Brom stick with the same side that beat Newcastle last weekend. There is only one change on the bench as Chadli comes in for Oliver Burke.
Tottenham substitutes: Son Heung-Min, Michel Vorm, Moussa Sissoko, Fernando Llorente, Lucas Moura, Ben Davies.
Tottenham XI (3-4-2-1): Hugo Lloris; Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen; Kieran Trippier, Victor Wanyama, Dele Alli, Danny Rose; Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela; Harry Kane.
West Brom substitutes: Hal Robson-Kanu, Claudio Yacob, Jonny Evans, Boaz Myhill, Daniel Sturridge, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Nacer Chadli.
West Brom(4-4-2): Ben Foster; Allan Nyom, Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi, Kieran Gibbs; Matt Phillips, Jake Livermore, Chris Brunt, James McClean; Jay Rodriguez, Salomon Rondon.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
STAT: Kane has 15 away goals in the Premier League this season, just one goal away from equalling Kevin Phillips’ record for most away goals in a single campaign in the competition (16 in 1999-00).
The Lilywhites still have work to do if they are to secure a Champions League spot though, but a win today would put them within two points of ensuring a top-four finish. Chelsea are five points adrift of Spurs in fifth but face a tough test against an in-form Liverpool on Sunday.
It has been another impressive season in terms of performances under Mauricio Pochettino but there has been no silverware to show for it once again. Tottenham could still finish as high as second this season, although a realistic finish of third would be a positive way to end the season.
STAT: Darren Moore has already won more Premier League games in four matches (2) than Alan Pardew did in 18 in charge of the Baggies (1), though both victories have been away from home.
Things might have been different for West Brom had they appointed Darren Moore sooner, after victories over Manchester United and Newcastle, coupled with a draw against Liverpool, gave them a slither of a chance at escaping the drop. Spurs will provide another stern test for the Premier League’s bottom side but recent performances suggest it will be a test they are ready to take on.
It is a huge day at the bottom of the Premier League table today and very much make or break for West Brom. Stoke’s defeat to Crystal Palace has kept the Baggies’ hopes alive, although failure to beat Spurs means relegation. A victory might not be enough either, as they would also be relegated if either Swansea or Southampton win their respective games.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage of today’s Premier League game between West Brom and Tottenham at the Hawthorns.
