FULL TIME! PSG go into the Coupe de France round of 32, after a narrow 1-0 win over fourth-tier Wasquehal! Ibrahimovic grabbed the only goal of the contest, with a second-half header, after a battling and resilient performance from the underdogs. The cup's holders keep marching on, but they'll need to vastly improve for future fixtures! That's all that we have time for, we hope to see you again next time.
Good save from Samson! Augustin races to the edge of the penalty area, before trying to drive a left-footed strike inside the near upright! The Wasquehal goalkeeper is equal to his effort, however, using his feet to deny the Frenchman.
We're into the first of three minutes of stoppage time.
Lucas drives to break into the penalty area after skipping around Loore, but the hosts' right back uses his strength well to ease the Brazilian out of the driving seat. The PSG substitute wants a free kick, but he will get no such joy.
Substitution Messaoud Bouardja Sofiane Nadji
A few fouls have crept into this contest in the dying stages, with it evident that a lot of hard running in wet conditions have taken their toll this afternoon. Wasquehal break away down the right-hand side, but Thiago Motta comes across to take control with a neat tackle.
Five minutes remain for Wasquehal to pull off a surprise equaliser, but Sirigu hasn't had anything to do for the duration of the second half. Ibrahimovic releases Augustin down the right channel, but Samson races out to beat the youngster to the ball. Moments later, the hosts' goalkeeper has to make a neat save to deny Marquinhos!
Ibrahimovic tries to stab a first-time effort inside the far post, but the Swedish striker is denied by the slightest of defensive deflections! The resulting corner sails over the danger zone and straight out for a goal kick on the other side of the goal.
Yellow card Mehdy Loore
We're into the final 10 minutes in Lille's old stadium, where PSG are set to edge into the round of 32 in contrived fashion. Marquinhos is forced into action immediately, with the former Roma centra-back rising well to deny a cross from the right.
Substitution Blaise Matuidi Marcos Aoás Corrêa
T. Fernandes is immediately involved, with the substitute going down on the edge of the penalty box claiming a foul! Thiago Motta merely stood up to the Wasquehal midfielder, who dived to the ground before coming into contact with his aggressor. PSG also make a change, with Matuidi replaced by Marquinhos.
Substitution Geoffrey Cabaye Tanguy Fernandes
There's another stoppage in play, as Cabaye takes his leave for T. Fernandes. The Frenchman's jog off the field shows how much work rate Wasquehal have put in this afternoon! PSG continue to keep hold of the ball patiently and probe for the chance to net the killer goal.
We're into the final quarter of an hour, with it appearing that PSG have been able to break Wasquehal's resolve at last. Les Parisiens are retaining possession, with the hosts reluctantly trying to close their opposition down despite having tired legs.
PSG are happy to take their time on the ball a little more now, with Blanc's men not having the same sense of urgency. Lucas tries to whip a cross in from the right, but a deflection sends the ball sailing out for a corner. The resulting delivery is controlled by Ibrahimovic, but the visiting goalscorer can't get a shot away.
We're into the final 20 minutes in this cup tie, with PSG currently edging their way into the next round. Ibrahimovic picks up the ball at the edge of the box, before driving forward and dragging a shot wide of the far post! It took the slighest of deflections, but the resulting corner comes to nothing.
Wasquehal enjoy a short spell of possession, but the hosts just can't seem to piece together any dangerous and pacey breaks. The chasing and harrying of their opponents appears to have taken its toll on the energy levels of the underdogs, though they have two substitutions left to make.
Kurzawa sees yet another near-post cross hacked away by the first man, before Augustin is unable to force the ball after an ambling run down the left flank. Moments later, Verratti and Ibrahimovic try to combine with a one-two, but an attempted through ball from the ex-Pescara midfielder is intercepted easily.
Over the crossbar from Lucas! The former Sao Paulo man puts the ball onto his stronger foot, before lashing a powerful effort high and wide! Given that he had a sight of goal and PSG have the lead, the substitute was probably right to try his luck.
The atmosphere has gone a little more flat inside the stadium now, with PSG having the vital goal that they need in order to force Wasquehal to push on themselves. Kurzawa continues to whip in dangerous balls from the left, but the home side haven't done too badly aerially. Samson makes an easy stop at his near post, after a neat run from Augustin.
GOOOOOOOOOOOAL! IBRAHIMOVIC OPENS THE SCORING FOR PSG! Verrati clips a lofted diagonal into the box, with the Swedish striker rises above the challenge of Samson in order to nod home the opener! Finally, we have first blood!
PSG move the ball from right to left quickly, but a spiralling cross from Kurzawa can only be knocked down by Augustin! The rebound falls to Ibrahimovic, but he can only poke a very tame effort goalwards! Samson gathers up the loose ball.
Substitution Adrien Rabiot Lucas Rodrigues Moura da Silva
Substitution Adama Diakité Henri Tekendo Bessala
Kurzawa, Matuidi and Rabiot combine down the left-hand side, with the latter caught narrowly offside while trying to sprint to the byline. There's movement on both benches, with Tekendo coming into the fray for the hosts for Diakite. Lucas Moura is introduced by Blanc.
Samson grabs hold of a dangerous cross from the left-hand side, before PSG threaten down the right-hand side moments later. Augustin sprints forward and hurdles one challenge, before Qrita mops up the scraps. Wasquehal try to threaten themselves, but Verratti lashes away a poor delivery into the box.
Just wide from Matuidi! The France international is fed into the penalty area, before shooting across goal with his third touch! The ball skids off the wet turf and just beyond the far upright, with Samson at full stretch! The away side are looking much more dangerous at the moment.
PSG are seeing all of the ball since the restart, with Wasquehal being asked to do all of the chasing. Ibrahimovic tries to slide a neat pass in between enemy lines towards Augustin, with Samson coming off his line to foul the youngster! Fortunately for the hosts, the lineman's flag was already up for offside on the far side.
Another chance goes begging for Ibrahimovic! The Sweden international drives inside from the left, before dragging a low shot agonisingly wide of the left upright! It looks as though Blanc's half-time words might have had an effect on the PSG captain.
PSG start the half dangerously, with Ibrahimovic able to win possession high upfield! The former Ajax man holds off one opponent, before bending a dangerous shot narrowly beyond the far post! Samson was struggling there, for a moment.
We are underway in the second half! PSG still find themselves on level terms with fourth-tier opposition, with Wasquehal able to carve out some good chances of their own on the break! A shock is still on the cards.
HALF TIME! Wasquehal go into the break with the scoreline still at 0-0, with PSG unable to break the hosts' resistance thus far. Diakite and Cabaye have had some reasonable opportunities for the underdogs, with Augustin and Ibrahimovic missing sitters for the away outfit.
Aurier is force to cover across and end yet another Wasquehal break, with the Ivory Coast international's pace proving invaluable in this contest. There is no stoppage time in Lille.
A few minutes are left on the first-half clock, with the underdogs continuing to defend resiliently. Blanc's men just aren't quite moving possession quickly enough to stretch out a very congested Wasquehal system. Les Parisiens might just have to look to one of their more experienced offensive options on the bench before long. Ibrahimovic lines up a shot from 25 yards, but blasts just wide of the top-right corner!
Verratti and Matuidi try to play intricate triangles on the edge of the box, but quickly see possession taken away from them. Wasquehal break upfield at real pace, with Diakite picked out making a run towards the back post, but Sirigu is quick off his line to smother the attempted pass ahead of his opponent.
Matuidi breaks into the penalty area, before being eased off the ball, with the Frenchman going to ground and claiming for a penalty. Unsurprisingly, and correctly, the referee waves play on, with Samson mopping up the scraps. Wasquehal are all sat incredibly deep now, with the hosts evidently having one eye on the clock.
Less than 10 minutes remain in the first half, with Wasquehal continuing to hold firm in the face of adversity. Ibrahimovic and Augustin have had two fantastic chances, but still the opening goal for the cup holders is proving elusive. Aurier tries to guide a cross in towards the near post, but a deflection takes it safely into the arms of the goalkeeper.
Sirigu makes his second comfortable save of the afternoon, to deny a long-range strike. PSG respond by breaking down the left-hand side, but another good Kurzawa cross isn't capitalised upon! Ibrahimovic races into space at the near post, but slots a cushioned finish just shy of the upright with Samson wrongfooted!
Motta almost goes close from a corner delivery, but the ex-Atletico Madrid midfielder can't get the connection quite right! As a result, Planque hacks clear. Moments later, two deliveries are easily dealt with in quick succession but Wasquehal, who aren't afraid to play their way out of trouble. The hosts win themselves a corner of their own, but Sirigu pushes the ball over his own bar.
Augustin is fed a pass into the channel and allows for the ball to bounce into his path, but Samson responds quickly! The goalkeeper hares off his line to punch the danger out for a throw in on the right-hand side. Unorthodox but effective! Moments later, Aurier sees a low shot easily blocked.
Wasquehal have settled back into a back five, with it clear that frustration is the only thing on their mind at the moment. Verratti tries to sccop a delicate pass into Ibrahimovic, but the Sweden forward is penalised for catching Planque in the face with an accidental forearm. The referee doesn't go for his book, however.
Wasquehal stand firm! Firstly, Samson is called into action to deny Augustin with his feet, before Verratti sees a close-range effort charged down! The rebound bobbles out to Rabiot, but the French midfielder leans back and sending a shot arrowing out of play for a goal kick. Pressure is building.
Rabiot clips a dangerous diagonal ball towards the back post, but Augustin fails to get over it! The young Frenchman catches the pass with a cushioned volley, but can only guide a looping attempt over the crossbar. He certainly hasn't been clinical early on!
Planque slides in to deny a cross from Kurzawa, but the resulting corner kick is cleared from the danger zone easily. Wasquehal continue to hold onto their clean sheet, with plenty of yellow shirts insisting on sitting deep and congesting the edge of the box. The hosts go on yet another dangerous break, but Kimpembe and Stambouli combine to ensure that Diakite doesn't get a chance in space at the back post.
Rabiot forces Samson into a neat save at his near post, with Ibrahimovic unable to react quickly enough to pounce upon the rebound. PSG continue to enjoy the lion's share of possession, but there are evidently some nerves in the air. Until they get a breakthrough goal, they may long continue.
Qrita makes a timely clearance from underneath his own crossbar, under pressure from Augustin, after yet more good work down PSG's left flank. Wasquehal have another chance, with Cabaye picked out at the back post, but the Frenchman is penalised for a blatant push on Aurier.
Matuidi and Ibrahimovic combine down the left-hand side, but the Sweden international is buffetted out wide and into a non-threatening position. Moments later, Kurzawa is penalised for a foul throw. Amateur stuff from the cup holders, who aren't looking up to their usual standard.
WHAT A MISS FROM AUGUSTIN! It doesn't get easier than that! Matuidi releases Kurzawa down the left flank, before the ex-Monaco man cuts back a lovely pass from the left byline! With the goal at his mercy, the young striker fails to make any contact with the ball, despite it gaping in front of him! PSG keep the pressure on, but a back-post cross is headed over by Ibrahimovic.
Wasquehal are settling into this contest slightly, with the hosts certainly not in any rush to give the ball away. PSG are playing a fairly high line, with a make-shift back four, which has afforded the CFA outfit plenty of space to exploit in behind during the opening minutes.
The opening 10 minutes have been almost entirely PSG in terms of possession, but the best chance of the game has fallen to Wasquehal! The home fans are making plenty of noise, with it clear that their side have the potential to do some damage on the break! Diakite is denied by a last ditch challenge from Motta, after a shot was spilled by Sirigu!
Ibrahimovic is yet to really get an opportunity for the away side, with the PSG captain being watched closely by Wasquehal's back four. Augustin hasn't had much service either, with Les Parisiens labouring with their offensive play at present. Sirigu is called into action for the first time this afternoon, but slices a terrible clearance into the stands! Nervy start for the favourites.
Diakite and Cabaye link up well down the left-hand side, but a return pass from the former is placed too far ahead of his teammate! Kimpembe mops up the scraps, as Wasquehal continue to try and go on quick counters. Cabaye bursts forward and misses a good one-versus-one chance, before PSG go up the other end and see a shot cleared off the line!
Matuidi tries to curl a cross in from the left-hand side, but Fernandes is present at his near post to lash a clearance away. Qasquehal are sat very deep and in quite some numbers, asking the cup holders to come forward and attack. Kurzawa and Aurier are getting very high upfield as a result.
Verratti looks to release Aurier down the right-hand side, but the former Toulouse defender takes an awful touch directly out of play. Rather embarrassing for the Ivorian, who gets some sarcastic applause from the home fans! PSG are seeing all of the early possession.
We are underway in the first half at Stadium Nord Lille Metropole, as Wasquehal try to mastermind one of the biggest giant killings of recent years in French football. Blanc has named a competitive side, which should not struggle against fourth-tier opposition, but cup ties aren't played on paper!

Hello and welcome to live coverage of some Coupe de France action, as last year's holders PSG come up against fourth-tier outfit Wasquehal! Laurent Blanc's men are on their travels with a rotated squad, with it clearly believed that Les Parisiens can amble their way into the next round of the competition today without too much trouble! As we all know, however, there can be surprises in domestic cup tournament, with the hosts certainly a rather big banana skin to avoid!
