That's all from us tonight folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
Valencia will return to LaLiga action at the weekend, facing Levante on Saturday. Whilst Atalanta don't have any Serie A football for another few weeks, as all games have been suspended, so they will have plenty of time to prepare for their next Champions League game.
Atalanta book their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League with an 8-4 aggregate victory over Valencia at the Mestalla. It finished 4-3 on the night, with Ilicic scoring all four goals for Atalanta in a thrilling game. It was 2-1 at the break, but Gameiro scored his second to level the scoreline just six minutes after the restart. Torres then made it 3-2 to the hosts, however, it didn't stay like that for long, with Ilicic bagging another two to clinch the win.

90' + 1'
CHANCE! Zapata with an opportunity to score a fifth Atalanta goal! The striker brings the ball down and then tries to volley it into the back of the net, but he gets too much on it and it flies high over the crossbar.
There will be a minimum of two minutes added time played.
There's just one minute of normal time remaining here, plus any additional time and it looks like Atalanta will run of 8-4 winners on aggregate.
Ilicic has been awarded the man of the match award for his four goals tonight, the striker looked like he was going to have to go off with an injury earlier, but seems to have ran it off.
Freuler is booked for his foul on Soler.
Final Atalanta substitution with Pasalic replaced by Tameze.
Freuler ran forward from a deep position, skipping past a few Valencia defenders, before setting up Ilicic, when it looked like he would go for goal himself.
GOOOAAALLL! Ilicic scores again and Atalanta lead 4-3! Superb move by the visitors, the best goal of the night after excellent build-up play. Freuler plays a quick one-two with Zapata, before laying it out wide to Ilicic, who curls the ball into the top left-hand corner of the net.
Should they reach the quarter-final, Atalanta would become the first Champions League debutant to reach that stage since Leicester City in 2016-17 and the first Italian side to do so since Lazio in the 1999-00 campaign.
Third and final Valencia substitution, with Rodrigo heading off the pitch and he has been replaced by Florenzi.
Atalanta have made a change, with Gomez replaced by Malinovskiy.
Atalanta have been superb in front of goal, but have been opened up at the back on too many occasions by Valencia. This is something they will need to sort out ahead of the quarter-finals, should the result stay the same.
Valencia substitution here, with Coquelin the man coming off and he has been replaced by Cheryshev.
Stoppage in play here as Gosens is down with an injury at the moment, but he should be fine to continue after some treatment.
GOOOAAALLL! Atalanta are level. it's 3-3 and Ilicic has his hat-trick. The visitors broke forward quickly on the break, with Ilicic receiving the ball in time and space around 20 yards out and he drills it into the bottom right-hand corner of the net. Great finish.
SAVE! Great stop by Cillessen to deny Zapata at his near post. It was poor defending by Coquelin, who tried to play the striker offside, but failed to do so and Zapata raced through on and goal, firing a low shot towards the bottom corner, but Cillessen made a save with his feet.
Parejo spotted that there was a lot of space for Torres to run into and picked him out perfectly, with the winger doing the rest with a fine finish.
GOOOAAALLL! Valencia now lead on the night, it's 3-2! Torres with a superb chipped finish, after a lovely through ball by Parejo and with Sportiello racing off his line, it gave Torres the chance to just clip it over him and into the back of an empty net.
Almost! Hateboer races past Gaya and the left-back almost brings him down, but just manages to avoid contact and then the ball seems to get stuck underneath the feet of Hateboer, allowing Gaya time to get back and make the clearance.
Among players from Serie A, only Cristiano Ronaldo (13) has scored more goals than Atalanta's Ilicic this calendar year in all competitions (12).
Wass is booked for his deliberate foul on Gomez, sliding in and catching the striker as he raced passed him down the wing. He will miss their next European game now due to suspension.
Atalanta are keeping the ball nicely in midfield now, making Valencia do all of the running around the pitch and they are also starting to take their time with any set pieces and throw-ins.
The pace of the game is terrific, with Atalanta continuing to push forward in search of more goals and they look like the more dangerous side and more likely to score next.
Kondogbia is booked for his foul right on the edge of the box on Ilicic, stopping the striker from breaking through on goal.
Coquelin needs to be careful as he has conceded a lot of free-kicks so far and has already been booked by the referee.
CHANCE! Gameiro goes close once again, he's on course to score a hat-trick! Soler seemed to line up the shot himself after beating a couple of defenders on the edge of the box, but instead he opts to pass to Gamerio, who tries to fire the ball into the bottom left-hand corner of the net. However, his effort flies just wide of the post.
Atalanta’s 4-1 win over Valencia in the first leg of the tie was only the second time they’d scored four times in a major European competition knockout match, also winning 4-1 against Fenerbahce in the UEFA Cup round of 32 in 1990-91.
Torres managed to find space out wide on the right wing and he delivers a superb cross, which is met by the run of Gameiro.
GOOOAAALLL! Terrific header by Gameiro to pull a goal back for Valencia and make it 2-2 on the night! Torres delivers a superb cross into the box, with plenty of pace on it and Gameiro rises above his marker and powers the header into the far corner of the net.
OFF THE BAR! Frueler goes close to making it 3-1 to Atalanta! The hosts fail to clear the danger and the midfielder picks it up and tries to fire it into the top corner of the net, but it strikes the crossbar, with Cillessen having no chance of saving it.
Lovely pass in behind the Valencia defence by Ilicic, which Zapata gets on the end of and he tries to square the ball to Gomez in the middle, but it's well cut out in the nick of time.
Bright start to the second half by Valencia, they are keeping the ball well and are forcing Atalanta to sit deep and soak up the pressure early on.
The second half is under way!
Valencia have a substitution ahead of the second half, with Diakhaby replaced by Guedes.
It will be interesting to see if Atalanta sit back and just see the game out now, with the aggregate scoreline advantage and two away goals. Valencia have seen plenty of the ball, but haven't done much in the final third to really test Sportiello in the Atalanta goal.
Atalanta lead 2-1 at the break, which hands them a huge advantage due to away goals in this Champions League tie and they should be qualifying from this position. The visitors got off to the perfect start after just three minutes, when they were awarded penalty after Diakhaby brought down Ilicic, who then converted from the spot. Gameiro pulled Valencia level after 21 minutes, but just before the break Diakhaby conceded another penalty, this time for handball, which Ilicic again scored.

Gameiro is penalised after he blocks a Ilicic set piece, with the striker moving away from the marked line set down by the referee. The free-kick is retaken 10 yards further forward, but Cillessen clears the danger.
There will be a minimum of three minutes added time played.
M. de Roon
Atalanta have been forced into making a substitution, with De Roon unable to shake off an eye injury picked up earlier and Zapata is his replacement.
GOOOAAALLL! Ilicic converts from the penalty spot again, sending Atalanta 2-1 ahead and they lead 6-2 on aggregate. This time Ilicic fires the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the net, sending Cillessen the wrong way.
Diakhaby is also booked by the referee for handling the ball in the box.
ATALANTA PENALTY! The referee goes to watch the video replay and awards the visitors a penalty, so Atalanta have the chance to make it 2-1, with Diakhaby giving away another penalty and now Ilicic has the chance to score from the spot again.
PENALTY SHOUT! Atalanta are appealing for a penalty after the ball strikes the arm of Diakhaby as Ilicic flicks it past the defender. Diakhaby's arm was outstretched and in an unnatural position. Nothing given by the referee, but the Atalanta players are surrounding the referee and appealing for a spot-kick. VAR will take a look.
Lots of possession here for Valencia at the moment, but they aren't able to get into the final third and test the Atalanta defence, with Sportiello a spectator for much of the game.
Stoppage in play here as De Roon is down with an eye injury after a clash with Rodrigo and is receiving some medical treatment on the pitch, but it looks like he will be fine to continue.
Wass has struggled at right-back for Valencia so far, he's really up against it with Gomez and Ilicic and has already committed a few fouls, but has only received warnings from the referee.
The first yellow card of the game has been shown to Coquelin for his foul on Pasalic.
We're just past the half an hour mark now at the Mestalla and it's 1-1 on night between Valencia and Atalanta, there hasn't been many chances on goal so far, with neither keeper having much to do.
Valencia are starting to get more joy down the wings now, they are getting more and more crosses into the penalty area, but the delivery has been poor and Atalanta are defending them well.
Gameiro has now scored his first Champions League goal for the club – he had failed to score in 11 consecutive games in the competition since scoring in his final such appearance for Atletico Madrid Madrid in November 2017.
Not too far away! Pasalic meets a corner at the near post and tries to flick the ball into the far corner of the net, but it flies well wide of the Valencia goal.
The equalising goal is giving the Valencia supporters outside something to cheer about, but their side need to score another three unanswered goals in order to draw level.
GOOOAAALLL! Valencia are level, it's 1-1! Gameiro pounces on a mistake from Palomino and slides the ball into the back of the net. Rodrigo plays a lovely pass in behind the Atalanta defence, which Palomino cuts out, but then seems to get caught in two minds as to clear it or let his keeper gather it. This indecision allows Gameiro time to just nick it away and then finish from close range.
Good play! Valencia work the ball well, with Rodrigo holding it up well and then Gamerio playing a lovely chipped cross into the penalty area, which Soler meets at the far post. However, his low pass into the six-yard box, is cut out by Hateboer and goes out for a corner.
Atalanta are enjoying more of the possession here, they look very confident on the ball and so far Valencia haven't looked like testing them at the back.
The game is being played at a frantic pace at the moment, it's end-to-end, with Valencia trying to catch the visitors out on the break, as they are playing with a three-man defence, so are leaving some space down the wings.
The Valencia fans can be heard from outside the Mestalla Stadium, they have gathered in their thousands around the ground after being unable to watch their side today.
Valencia have never faced Atalanta at home in a European match previously – they lost their last home Champions League match against Italian opponents, in September 2018 against Juventus (0-2).
Decent effort! Rodrigo finds time and space in front of goal and fires an effort towards goal, but it's too close to Sportiello, who parries the ball away to safety.
Valencia are struggling to string a few passes together here, with Atalanta looking very comfortable and they aren't resting on their lead, they are pushing forward at every opportunity.
The perfect start by Atalanta, they now lead 5-1 on aggregate and have an all important away goal, making it very difficult for Valencia tonight.
GOOOAAALLL! Ilicic won the penalty and he also converts it, Atalanta lead 1-0! The striker drills the ball straight down the middle of the goal, with Cillessen diving past the ball to his right, but almost gets to it with his legs.
ATALANTA PENALTY! The visitors have the chance to take the lead from the penalty spot after Ilicic is brought down by Diakhaby. Brilliant play by the striker, he dribbles into the box, skipping past two defenders and then beats Diakhaby on the byline, with the defenders trailing leg catching the Atalanta man, who goes down. No complaints with the decision, with the referee pointing to the spot straight away.
We're under way!
