Commentary

Thanks for joining us for live coverage of Paris Saint-Germain's 3-0 away win over Toulouse in Ligue 1.
Victory for Galtier's men means they remain top of Ligue 1, level on points with Lens and Marseille but above them on goal difference. They travel to Nantes next as they look to carry on their impressive start to the season. Defeat for the visitors drops them to 13th place, and they will look to get back on track away at Clermont Foot.
The referee blows the whistle to bring an end to the match with PSG running out 3-0 winners. It was a tough night for Toulouse, who found themselves a goal down when a superb Messi through-ball was coolly finished by Neymar. The flag initially went up for offside, but replays showed that Neymar was onside and VAR gave the goal. The visitors then made it 2-0 five minutes into the second half, as another Messi assist was rifled into the back of the net by Mbappe. They added a third in the dying minutes, after an Mbappe shot deflected off the woodwork and Dupe, straight to Bernat who slotted home.

Goal
PSG
90' PSG ADD A THIRD!!! Mbappe rattles the post with a powerful drive from outside the box. Unluckily for Dupe, it comes back off the woodwork and hits him, deflecting straight to Bernat. The Spaniard made no mistake with the finish, rifling high into the net to make it 3-0.
89' As we near injury time, it's surely too late for the hosts to make any kind of comeback now.
87' Montanier's men have been better in this second half, but their lack of quality has shown as PSG have kept them out with relative ease.
85' Toulouse have only won one of their last 20 Ligue 1 games against Paris (D2 L17), on 23rd September 2016 at home (2-0). Tefece have not found the net in each of their last four top-flight encounters against the Parisian club, and that run looks like it will be extended here.
A. Hakimi
L. Messi
PSG
83' Messi got the assists for both PSG goals, and now makes way for Hakimi.
Juan Bernat
Nuno Mendes
PSG
83' Mendes comes off for Bernat.
82' It's nearly 3-0! Ekitike is played through by Mbappe, but his drive towards the far corner is pushed wide once again by Dupe.
81' Spierings loses patience with the passing approach and instead decides to take a speculative effort from 35 yards, which goes well wide.
80' Toulouse have had a bit more of the possession in the last five minutes, but they just cannot find a way through this PSG backline.
78' The hosts have only won two of their last 24 Ligue 1 games against reigning champions (D7 L15), vs Montpellier in May 2013 and Paris in September 2016 (2-0 each time at home).
B. Dejaegere
B. van den Boomen
Toulouse
76' Dejaegere comes on in place of Van den Boomen.
A. Onaiwu
T. Dallinga
Toulouse
76' Dallinga has struggled up top for Toulouse, and he makes way for Onaiwu.
74' Dupe makes another fantastic stop, rushing out of his goal to deny Mbappe as he went through one-on-one. This could have been five or six if not for the Toulouse goalkeeper.
72' PSG have lost four of their last 11 Ligue 1 away games against promoted sides (W6 D1). PSG have conceded at least one goal in 12 of their last 14 such encounters in the top-flight (20 in total).
70' Van den Boomen goes for an ambitious long-range shot, but he gets it all wrong and it skims well wide.
Renato Sanches
M. Verratti
PSG
68' Sanches also replaces Verratti.
H. Ekitike
Neymar
PSG
68' Galtier makes his first changes of the game, bringing on Ekitike for Neymar.
67' Mbappe looks desperate to add his second of the game, but his right-footed effort goes just over the crossbar as he tried to pick out the far corner.
66' A delightful lofted throughball finds Mendes in the Toulouse box, but it's a defender's finish from the Portugal international as he smashes his volley well over.
Rafael Ratão
Yellow Card
Toulouse
64' Ratao is yellow-carded for clattering into Neymar in midfield.
I. Sylla
O. Zandén
Toulouse
63' Sylla also comes on for Zanden.
F. Chaïbi
Z. Aboukhlal
Toulouse
63' Aboukhlal makes way for Chaibi in the first of a double change by Montanier.
62' What a chance! Marquinhos again gets his head to a corner in acres of space, but his powerful nod at goal goes just over the crossbar.
61' Another great save! Vitinha sends a brilliant curling effort from range towards the far corner, but Dupe is able to leap across and push it wide.
59' Marquinhos gets on the end of a Neymar corner, but the PSG captain can't jump quite high enough and his header goes high and wide of Dupe's goal.
57' Van den Boomen tries to catch Donnarumma out with a free-kick to the near post, but the PSG goalkeeper is alert to scamper to his right and push it behind for a corner.
55' Toulouse have not won any of their last 10 Ligue 1 home games (eight losses in 2019-20 and two draws in 2022-23, 1-1 v Nice and 2-2 v Lorient).
52' Close to a third! It's nearly a third assist for Messi as he lays the ball left to the feet of Neymar, who cuts back onto his right foot. Unfortunately for PSG, his effort towards the near post goes just wide.
L. Messi
Assist
PSG
50' Messi cut back in the box and laid the ball back perfectly for Mbappe, who did the rest.
K. Mbappé
Goal
PSG
50' IT'S 2-0!!! Mbappe is the goalscorer, after good work from Messi down the left ends with him pulling the ball back for his forward partner, who lashes home first-time with his right foot.
49' SAVE! It is Messi who takes it, and his precise free-kick makes it over the wall and looks to be flying in, until Dupe manages to tip it wide at full-stretch.
48' Spierings is penalised for a handball, giving the visitors a free-kick in a very dangerous position, just outside the box. Messi and Neymar are standing over it. Who will be trusted to take it?
46' The hosts get us back underway for the second period.
Logan Costa
R. Nicolaisen
Toulouse
46' Montanier makes the first change of the game, bringing on Costa for Nicolaisen at half-time.
If the hosts are going to get back in this game, you would imagine they will need to improve significantly after having less than 25 per cent of the first half possession. Can they get themselves back into this contest? Or will PSG put them to the sword?
The referee blows the whistle for half-time with PSG taking a 1-0 lead into the break. They have been much the better team in the first half, but it took them until the 37th minute to finally get their noses in front. The flag initially went up for offside after a brilliant Messi through-ball was calmly finished by Neymar, but a lengthy VAR check determined that Neymar was onside and the goal should be given. They nearly added a second before half-time, but Messi's fierce drive was saved by Dupe with his legs.
45' + 4' HALF-TIME: TOULOUSE 0-1 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
45' + 2' Neymar tries to pick out Mbappe with a lofted through ball but he gets it wrong and it goes behind for a goal-kick.
45' Messi tries to add a second, but his powerful drive is straight at Dupe, who saves with his legs.
44' PSG have had over 75 per cent of the possession so far in this first half.
42' The visitors have won five of their last six Ligue 1 away games (D1), after winning only three of their previous 11 (D4 L4). It looks like they may be on their way to another three points on the road here.
39' After a lengthy VAR check, it's confirmed that the visitors have finally broken the deadlock.
L. Messi
Assist
PSG
37' It was a perfectly-weighted pass from Messi to allow Neymar to coolly finish.
Neymar
Goal
PSG
37' THE GOAL IS GIVEN! The replays showed that Neymar was onside when the ball was played through by Messi, and VAR decides to allow the goal to give PSG a 1-0 lead.
37' NO GOAL! A clever throughball from Messi puts Neymar in on goal, before the Brazil international slides the ball into the bottom corner. However, the flag goes up for offside. This will be checked by VAR though.
35' Vitinha tries to play Mukiele in on the right-hand side, but his pass just has too much power on it and skips out for a goal-kick.
33' Mbappe looks bemused as he is penalised for a foul as he tried to dribble into the opposition box. Montanier's side have done a good job so far in keeping him as quiet as possible.
31' Toulouse (10 players) have had more players born in or after the year 2000 score for them in the top two tiers of French football than any other side.
29' LUCKY! Donnarumma takes his time with the ball at his feet inside his own six yard box as Aboukhlal closes him down. The Italian keeper's attempted kick upfield comes off Aboukhlal, back off Donnarumma, and then out for a corner. That could have been embarrassing.
27' The visitors want a penalty after an Mbappe touch comes off the arm of Van den Boomen in the Toulouse box, but the referee waves away the protests.
25' Quick feet from Mbappe looks to have made enough space for him to let fly, but Rouault gets in with an important tackle to dispossess him before he can do so.
23' PSG have scored at least three goals in each of their last six Ligue 1 away games (28 goals in total), a record in the French top-flight’s history. They have not yet been able to find a way through this resolute Toulouse defence so far here though.
21' Van den Boomen tries his luck from distance, but his ambitious curler is easily gathered by Donnarumma as he shuffles to his right to collect.
18' Messi flashes a shot just wide of the left post after a brilliant Mendes cross picked him out in the box.
17' Good play from the hosts ends with Dessler crossing to Aboukhlal, but his first-time effort is poor and flies well over Donnarumma's goal.
15' Nicolaisen makes a big challenge in his own box to nip the ball away off the toes of Mbappe as the France international shaped to shoot.
13' Toulouse are trying to hit PSG on the counter, but they have so far lacked the quality to take advantage of the numbers that the visitors are throwing forward when they attack.
11' Toulouse and Paris (each 26) are the two teams with the most possession won in the final third in Ligue 1 this season. Neymar is leading the PSG squad (six), while Aboukhlal and Spierings have the most with Tefece (each four).
9' CLOSE! The ball falls to Messi in the box and he takes his time, before sidefooting towards the bottom left corner. It just doesn't quite have the required pace on it though, and Dupe is able to turn it round the post for a corner.
8' Neymar has been involved in 10 open play sequences finishing in a goal in Ligue 1 this season, at least five more than any other player (Messi tied for second with five).
6' Ratao has Toulouse's first attempt of the game but his drive from a tight angle is straight at Donnarumma, who easily punches it away.
4' The visitors have certainly started the better of the two sides, but have not yet been able to find a way through.
2' PSG should be ahead already! There is an almighty scramble in the hosts' box, with both Messi and Mbappe trying to shoot through a mob of players. Eventually, Toulouse are able to scramble it away.
1' The visitors kick us off and we are underway.
The two teams make their way onto the pitch ahead of kick-off.
Visiting boss Christophe Galtier goes with three alterations from the draw with Monaco as Mukiele, Vitinha and Pereria come in for Sanches, Hakimi and the injured Presnel Kimpembe.
