Commentary

That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
This win moves Tottenham up to seventh and Mourinho’s side will face Manchester City next weekend in the league. However, in midweek they turn their attentions to the FA Cup, as they travel to Everton in the fifth round of the competition. Meanwhile West Brom remain 19th, 11 points from safety and next up for them is Manchester United.
Second half goals from Kane and Son fire Tottenham to a 2-0 victory over West Brom and end their winless run. West Brom defended resiliently and kept Spurs at bay in the first half, but Kane opened the scoring on 54 minutes, before Son doubled their lead four minutes later. Diagne did get the ball in the back of the net twice for the visitors, but both were ruled out for offside.
90' + 5' FULL-TIME: TOTTENHAM 2-0 WEST BROM
C. Gallagher
Yellow Card
90' + 5' Gallagher is booked in stoppage time for a challenge on Hojbjerg.
D. Scarlett
Son Heung-Min
90' + 3' Late Tottenham substitution, with Scarlett replacing Son.
90' + 2' We're deep into stoppage time and the pace has started to drop, with West Brom seemingly knowing that the game is up and Tottenham will just see the game out now.
90' There will be a minimum of four minutes added time played at the end of the second half.
88' Tottenham seem happy to sit back a little bit now and just wait for the full-time whistle, allowing the visitors to have the ball in midfield late on.
86' Kane has now scored in 13 of his last 15 Premier League appearances against newly-promoted opposition (14 goals) including each of the last six – the first player to manage that since Mohamed Salah between Jan & Dec 2018.
84' There's just over five minutes plus any additional time left to play now, it looks like Tottenham have secured all three points to get back to winning ways.
82' OFFSIDE AGAIN! Diagne once again has the ball in the back of the net, but it is ruled out for offside. The striker gets on the other side of Sanchez as a ball comes through, he then flicks it past Lloris and into the back of the net. However, it won't count.
Matheus Pereira
R. Snodgrass
80' The visitors make their third and final change, with Snodgrass who has just been booked coming off and he has been replaced by Pereira.
O. Yokuşlu
R. Sawyers
78' Another change by West Brom now, with Sawyers coming off and he has been replaced by Yokuslu.
R. Snodgrass
Yellow Card
77' Snodgrass is booked for a high foot on Davies after the two slide in for a challenge and the West Brom player leaves his foot up and catches his opponent.
S. Bergwijn
E. Lamela
74' Another substitution now by Tottenham and it is Lamela who is coming off, to be replaced by Bergwijn.
73' The Baggies are trying to push slightly higher up the pitch, but they just can't quite get close enough to their opponents and the hosts are controlling proceedings.
71' Tottenham look very comfortable now, they are keeping the ball well in midfield and West Brom don't seem to be able to get on the ball to test the Spurs defence.
M. Phillips
K. Ahearne-Grant
69' West Brom have also made a change, with Grant the man heading off and he has been replaced by Phillips.
M. Doherty
S. Aurier
68' Here is the enforced Spurs substitution, with Aurier having to come off and it is a straight swap at right-back, with Doherty replacing him.
68' It looks like Aurier has a problem here for Tottenham, he is down on the pitch receiving some medical treatment and he may have to come off. Doherty is starting to get ready on the sidelines.
66' Only in 2016-17 (14) has Son scored more goals in a single Premier League campaign than the 13 he has netted already this season.
E. Lamela
Yellow Card
64' The first yellow card of the game is shown to Lamela after his poor challenge on Gallagher.
62' There is an excellent tempo to the game at the moment, with Tottenham playing some really good football in the West Brom half of the pitch.
60' GOAL RULED OUT! West Brom think they've pulled one back but the flag goes up for offside. Snodgrass whips a fantastic cross into the penalty area from the right and Diagne gets on the end of it, converting past Lloris from close range. However, the striker made his run slightly too early and is caught out.
Son Heung-Min
Goal
58' GOAL! Son doubles his side's lead and makes it 2-0! Brilliant counter by Tottenham, with Kane laying it off to Moura who sprints into the West Brom half and opens them up, before passing to Son to his right and he then drills it into the back of the net.
Lucas Moura
Assist
58' Superb counter by Spurs, with Moura using his pace to beat a couple of West Brom defenders and they just couldn't keep up with him. He could have gone for goal himself, but Son had more time and space, so he unselfishly played it out to him.
56' It will be interesting to see how West Brom respond to going a goal behind now, will they push on and try and get back into the game? They could cause Tottenham some problems on the counter.
P. Højbjerg
Assist
54' Davies comes in from the left wing and Hojbjerg looks up and finds Kane in space, sliding the ball perfectly through to the striker who makes no mistakes with the finish.
H. Kane
Goal
54' GOAL! Kane finds the back of the net and fires Tottenham 1-0 ahead. The goal has been coming and it is a lovely move, carving open the West Brom defence, with Hojbjerg spotting Kane in space, who sneaks in behind and he fires it into the back of the net, with Johnstone unable to stop that one.
52' Tottenham have lost just one of their last 26 Premier League home games against promoted clubs (W23 D2), going down 1-3 against Wolves in December 2018.
50' Lamela delivers a good a free-kick into the penalty area from the right wing, but West Brom once again get numbers back and clear the danger.
48' The second half has started just as the first ended, with Tottenham on top and they are pressing forward in numbers. Can they break the deadlock early on?
46' SAVE! Johnstone is called into action straight after the restart, with Kane feeding Son in behind and he tries to find the bottom right-hand corner of the net. However, the keeper makes an excellent stop with his feet.
46' The second half is under way!
Tottenham have been frustrated by the resilient West Brom defence, who have defended well in numbers and limited the space they have to play into in the final third. The visitors will certainly be the happier of the two sides.
Somehow it is 0-0 at the break, despite Tottenham having numerous chances to open the scoring, with a few of them falling to Kane, but he couldn't quite find the back of the net. Aurier was also denied by Johnstone late on, before the visitors almost took a shock lead just before half-time, when Diagne forced Lloris into a smart save, but he was offside anyway.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: TOTTENHAM 0-0 WEST BROM
45' + 2' West Brom with a free-kick right at the end of the half now, can they create something just before the break? They take it short and the cross is cleared by Tottenham.
45' There will be a minimum of one minute added time played at the end of the first half.
44' CHANCE! Huge opportunity for West Brom just before the break! Excellent chance for Diagne to fire his side ahead, after a cross came in from the right by Snodgrass and the striker heads it towards goal, but Lloris reads it well and makes a good save. The ball bounces down near the goalline and Diagne appeals to the referee, but it didn't cross the line. The has put linesman put his flag up now, so it wouldn't have counted anyway.
42' SAVE! Brilliant stop by Johnstone to deny Aurier's header from a corner and then Peltier with a great block to deny Tottenham from the rebound, before the visitors clear the ball up the pitch.
41' There’s just a few minutes left on the clock until the end of the first half, can either side break the deadlock before the half-time whistle?
39' Since a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace in August 2016, West Brom are winless in their last 11 Premier League games in London (D2 L9). The Baggies have lost each of their last five top-flight games in the capital, conceding at least twice each time.
37' SAVE! Moura finds Kane inside the box, he shifts the ball quickly and finds some space to get a shot away, but his effort is too close to Johnstone who makes a good save and pushes it away to safety.
36' It is like a game of attack versus defence at the moment, with West Brom looking solid and resilient at the back, with Johnstone not called into action.
35' The pressure that West Brom are putting on the Tottenham players when they have the ball in midfield is really good, they are trying to close them down as quickly as they can and keep them at bay.
33' It only looks like a matter of time before Tottenham open the scoring here and the visitors will be eager to see the game out to half-time. Son hasn't been as involved as he may have liked so far.
31' We’re past the half an hour mark here and it remains goalless between Tottenham and West Brom. The visitors will be the happier of the two sides, as Mourinho's side have had a few opportunities to break the deadlock.
29' It looks like Grant may have picked up an injury in his challenge against Aurier, the Baggies medical staff are on the pitch giving him some treatment, but he should be fine to continue.
27' Good defending from Grant to deny Aurier deep in the penalty area, after it looked like the right-back would get to the ball, but the West Brom defender makes an excellent challenge.
25' West Brom have won just one of their last 14 away games against Spurs in all competitions (D6 L7), a 1-0 win in September 2014 at White Hart Lane.
23' The visitors have everyone back behind the ball now, getting into their defensive shape and forcing Tottenham back. Much better defending from West Brom, keeping them away from their penalty area.
21' Tottenham are really knocking on the door now, they are camped inside the Baggies final third and the chances are stacking up.
19' CHANCE! Another opportunity for Tottenham and it again falls to Kane. Aurier does well, they work it to Kane, who shifts the ball onto his right and perhaps takes a couple more touches then it should have done. The striker then fires it towards goal, but it takes a big deflection and Bartley clears it behind for a corner.
18' CHANCE! Kane should open the scoring! Ndombele tries to feed Son, but it takes a slight deflection and goes all the way through the West Brom defence and Kane latches onto the end of it. The striker only has Johnstone to beat from a fairly tight angle, but he drags his effort just wide of the far post.
17' The visitors are struggling to get on the ball at the moment and when they do it is long balls up to Diagne, who is doing well in the air, but then doesn't have the support around him to force an attack.
15' CLOSE! Brilliant counter by Tottenham, with Lamela finding Aurier, who then slides it across to Kane on the edge of the box. He takes a touch and then unleashes an effort towards goal, but it flies just inches wide of the post and then away. Best chance so far.
13' Tottenham are looking to record their first league double over West Brom since the 2011/12 season under manager Harry Redknapp.
11' Not too far away! Lamela feeds Aurier deep down the right wing, he cuts back and feeds Lamela once again on the edge of the box, who curls a shot towards the top left-hand corner of the net. However, he gets too much on it and it flies just over the bar.
10' Tottenham counter quickly and Son receives the ball down the left, he cuts inside and should pass to Lamela on the overlap, but he opts to go for goal himself, curling an effort towards the bottom right-hand corner. However, Johnstone is equal to it and makes a good save.
9' Decent chance! Lovely run from Townsend, getting forward down the left and he catches Ndombele out, getting a good cross into the box and it is met by the head of Diagne, but he can't quite get his header on target and it flies over the crossbar.
8' Almost! Moura does brilliantly to beat two West Brom defenders and sneak into the penalty area, but Bartley gets across in the nick of time and makes an excellent sliding tackle to stop the Tottenham man from having an effort on goal.
6' Diagne may have a lot of defending to do today, he is up top on his own for West Brom today and the Baggies midfelders are going to have to get up in support of him if they are to test Spurs.
4' Good move! Kane and Davies link up well, with the striker sneaking the ball past the Baggies midfield, but Davies can't quite get past Ajayi, who makes a good tackle.
3' Tottenham with the early possession here, but you can already see the tight West Brom midfield and defence working well, making it very difficult for the hosts to get balls in behind and in the final third.
1' We're under way!
The teams are out on the pitch and kick-off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all the match action!
