Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
Spurs take a 2-0 advantage into the second leg of the tie next Thursday, but before that, they turn their attention to the North London derby when they face Arsenal on Sunday. As for Dinamo, their eight-match winning run is now ended and Mamic will be hoping they can bounce back at the weekend against Varazdin.
Kane scores a goal in each half to seal a 2-0 win for Spurs over Dinamo Zagreb. He opened the scoring 25 minutes in after Lamela's shot bounced back off the post and he was left with a tap-in into an empty net. His second came after Theophile-Catherine failed to clear Aurier's cross, giving it straight to the forward who slotted past Livakovic. Bale had a late chance to make it 3-0 but fired wide of the post from very close range.
90' + 5' FULL-TIME: TOTTENHAM 2-0 DINAMO ZAGREB.
90' + 4' GREAT CHANCE! Ristovski slides in to intercept Sissoko's pass but misses it and Bergwijn has a lot of space to run into down the left. He fizzes a dangerous low cross into the far post where Bale is running onto it, but he touches it just wide of the target from close range.
90' + 2' Dinamo have a free-kick on the right wing and Ivanusec swings a good cross into the crowd of players on the edge of the box. Lauritsen gets the first touch, but can't control it which gives Dier a chance to clear his lines.

90' Ademi goes off to receive more treatment and Franjic is brought on for him.
89' Ademi has stayed down after the collision with Lucas which happened just before Ristovski's booking and he looks to be in a lot of pain with his knee. He receives treatment for it but has to be helped off the field by the medical team.
S. Ristovski
Yellow Card
87' Ristovski isn't happy with the decision to give Spurs a free-kick and he's making those feelings clear, so the referee books him for dissent.

85' Ivanusec was breaking quickly for Dinamo and Hojbjerg pulled him back to stop the run. He's booked and that means he'll miss the second leg.
Carlos Vinícius
H. Kane
84' Kane stayed down holding his knee after winning the free-kick, so he's being taken off as a precaution and Vinicius is on for him.
83' GOOD SAVE! Spurs have a free-kick in midfield and Bale is going to go for goal despite the distance. He gets the ball over the wall and it's dipping under the crossbar, but Livakovic gets a good punch on it at his near post.
81' Bale is doing well to hold off Theophile-Catherine when the ball is cleared up to him on the right. He tries to turn away from the defender but ends up losing out when he knocks it out of play.
D. Sánchez

He cuts back to get past the defender before slotting his shot past Livakovic and into the back of the net. 2-0 Spurs!
A. Ademi

68' Ademi is late as he goes into the tackle on Ndombele and he picks up a yellow card.

65' GOOD SAVE! Two of the Spurs substitutes are involved straight away and Bale swings in a cross with the outside of his left boot on the right to pick out Bergwijn at the far post. He hits the shot on the volley, without getting any power behind it, but Livakovic still has to push it away.

62' Leovac is caught on the ball on the left by Lamela and he touches it onto Alli who has a lot of space to run into. He turns but is quickly closed down by Ademi who does well to win it back for Dinamo.
60' GREAT CHANCE! It's Dinamo's first attack of the second half and Spurs are stretched due to the quick break. It's squared into the far post from Majer on the left and Petkovic gets his shot away first time, but can only send it into the side netting.
59' No Premier League player has scored (25) or made more assists (16) than Kane in all competitions this season.
57' It's a brilliant run by Ndombele as he rides three challenges from Dinamo defenders to get to the edge of the box. He tries to take it around Leovac, but the left-back does well to nick the ball off him without bringing him down in the penalty area.

48' CHANCE! Davies swings a good cross in from the left and Lamela chests it down at the far post, but can't get it out of his feet. Theophile-Catherine's touch takes it to Kane and his deflected shot loops over the bar just as the offside flag goes up against Lamela.
46' Spurs get us back underway for the second half!
Mourinho will be pleased with his side's performance as they've controlled the game well after Dinamo's quick start. They haven't really tested the keeper though and he'll want to see better quality in the box. As for Dinamo, if they start the second half like they did the first and take their chances, they have a good chance of getting back into the game.
Kane's goal gives Spurs a 1-0 lead at half-time over Dinamo. It was good play by Lamela in the build-up to the goal as he drove into the box before taking on the shot from the penalty spot. It bounced off the post and Kane was left with a simple tap-in at the other side. At the other end, Orsic and Petkovic have both had shots on target saved comfortably by Lloris.

42' Son's corner is punched away by the goalkeeper and Dinamo are trying to break quickly, but Spurs aren't giving them any space to run into. Majer does well to hold off Dier initially, but then wins a free-kick when Lamela catches him.
40' It's another sloppy pass in midfield, this time by Ristovski which gifts the ball to Spurs and Davies swings another good cross into the middle after a quick break. Livakovic gets fingertips to it to tip it over Kane's head and Aurier can't control it with his first touch.
38' Dinamo are being penned back in their own half again and this time, it's Jakic that's caught on the ball as Davies steps across him to nick it back. He plays it into Son ahead of him, but the forward's first touch lets him down and he can't keep it in play.
36' Petkovic had dropped deep to help out his defenders, but he's caught on the ball at the byline by Davies who just breezes away from him. He drills a cross into the box, but Lauritsen makes a block to put it out for a corner.
34' Dinamo have a free-kick in midfield and Majer floats a great cross over the top to pick out Petkovic. He tries to touch it past Lloris on the stretch but doesn't get the contact he needs so he sends it wide of the near post.

27' Spurs are keeping the pressure on Dinamo here and Kane plays a good cross into the far post from the left this time. He picks out Ndombele who goes for goal instead of heading it back across the box and it bounces wide of the target.
H. Kane
Goal
25' SPURS LEAD! Lamela turns past Majer and drives into the box before hitting a shot from the penalty spot. Livakovic rushes off his line but can't get close to it and his shot rebounds off the post. Kane is unmarked at the other side and he's left with a simple tap-in into the empty net. 1-0 Spurs!
24' Dinamo just can't keep hold of the ball at the moment and they're sloppily giving it away when they do get out of their own half. Jakic has time to pick out a pass, but he slices at it and ends up playing it straight to Sissoko.
22' CHANCE! Leovac's cross is blocked by Aurier, but Dinamo keep hold of the ball with Orsic cushioning the ball down for Ivanusec on the edge of the box. He hits the shot first time, but leans back as he takes it and fires it over the bar.

15' Dinamo just can't get out of their own half at the moment as Spurs are closing them down much higher up the field. Majer tries to play a one-two with Jakic to get around Alli but gets the ball caught under his feet and eventually loses out to the midfielder.
13' Lamela is given a lot of space to cut back onto his left foot before he whips a good cross to try and pick out Kane's run through the middle. He gets in between the defenders, but can't get a touch on the ball on the stretch to test Livakovic.
11' Dinamo have won each of their last six matches in the Europa League, embarking on their longest ever winning run in major European competition.
9' Kane has drifted out to the right to get on the ball and he takes it past Ademi before whipping in a cross towards Son's run at the far post. It takes a big deflection off Theophile-Catherine and he's lucky as it sails just over the bar.
7' It's better from Spurs now as they're patiently playing out from the back and Davies plays a good throughball into Son. He turns away from Ristovski but then runs into trouble in Lauritsen before he can pick out a pass to Kane.
5' Ndombele switches play out to Son on the left with a great pass and he gets his head up before floating a cross into the far post. It's just over Alli's head and nobody is following in behind him, so it bounces just wide of the target.
3' The visitors are causing Spurs some real problems early on as they push forward again. Petkovic turns away from Sissoko and he is making a good run into the box, but Sanchez gets across to intercept it.
1' Dinamo have started very brightly and Ndombele sloppily gives the ball away to Orsic. Aurier was out of position, so the forward had a free run at goal, but he couldn't get any power behind his shot and it's a comfortable save for Lloris.
1' Ademi gets the game underway for Dinamo!
