Commentary

Inter get a routine win then and continue their impressive start to the season. Could Conte's men be the ones to finally break Juventus' long title-winning streak? We'll have to wait and see. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Inter's win strengthens their hold on second place in Serie A on 34 points. They've hauled Juventus' lead at the top back to one point after their 3-1 win earlier. Torino stay 12th.
There was only ever one winner of this match and that was Inter. The visitors went ahead early on through Martinez and De Vrij doubled their lead thanks to a clever corner routine. Lukaku added a third in the second half and could have had another. All Inter needed to do was to sit back and pick a toothless Torino off. They managed the treacherous conditions without a hitch.
90' + 2' FULL TIME: TORINO 0-3 INTER
90' + 1' Zaza leaves a high foot on Brozovic as the Croatian looks to fire a pass out from the edge of Inter's area. Inter free-kick.
90' There will be two final minutes added onto this slog for all concerned.
89' Ansaldi is fouled by Dimarco. Berenguer lofts in the free-kick but it's straight into the arms of Handanovic. Easy, easy, easy.
87' Torino rally slightly, winning a corner down their left. Ansaldi crosses in with his right foot only for Inter to head clear. Inter's usual counter-attack doesn't work out this time.
85' Dimarco goes a bit too far forward and is ill-placed to receive a pass, leading him to race back and slip while the ball goes out for a Torino throw. No doubt all the players will be glad when this game's over.
F. Dimarco
D. D'Ambrosio
Internazionale
83' Inter substitution. D'Ambrosio gets a coat for the last ten minutes. Dimarco comes on for him.
81' Verdi attempts to jink inside but fails to take the ball with him. Lukaku bounds away on the counter and skids a low shot just wide of the left-hand post. The striker looks a threat every time he has sight of goal.
79' The delivery from Torino's free-kick is abysmal, almost curling out for a goal-kick. That attracts derisive whistles from the crowd. Watery patches are starting to appear on the pitch.
77' Torino pass the ball around in front of Inter's defence to little effect until Meite gets fouled in a centre-left position.
75' Torino and Inter have now had 11 shots each. Inter have only had one shot in this half and that was Lukaku's goal. Inter have been impressively efficient.
O. Aina
Yellow Card
Torino
73' Aina, who's asserted himself on the game since coming on, gets booked for hacking down Candreva. This comes during an Inter break following a Torino corner that led to diddly-squat.
Álex Berenguer
D. Baselli
Torino
71' Torino make their final change. Baselli off. Berenguer on.
70' Ansaldi has another try from range that whistles just over the bar. He's easily between Torino's biggest threat - not that they've threatened much.
A. Candreva
Lautaro Martínez
Internazionale
69' Martinez's day up front for Inter is done. He set the tone for Inter with his early goal and they've never looked anything other than winners of this match since. Candreva is his replacement.
67' Inter enjoy a rare spell in possession. D'Ambrosio looks to slide the ball to Lukaku but the striker isn't ready for it.
65' From the free-kick Torino get a corner. It's a woeful effort that doesn't beat the first Inter man.
M. Škriniar
Yellow Card
Internazionale
64' Torino continue their habit of fruitlessly probing in front of Inter's goal. Lukic throws his hands up in frustration. They get lucky when Skriniar challenges Izzo from behind, sending him to ground with a splash. Torino free-kick.
61' Baselli concedes a corner for Inter. Inter don't do very much with it.
A. Izzo
Yellow Card
Torino
59' Izzo is next to see yellow after a poor challenge on Martinez.
D. D'Ambrosio
Yellow Card
Internazionale
58' D'Ambrosio gets booked as he goes a step too far in his ongoing battle with Ansaldi.
58' That Lukaku goal is his 10th in 13 Serie A games. This game may already have been won, but he's won Inter 11 points so far this season - no player in the league has won more points for their side. The Belgian's back to his best.
O. Aina
Bremer
Torino
56' Torino substitution. Bremer is put out of his misery. Aina replaces him.
M. Brozović
Assist
Internazionale
55' Brozovic was the one who found Lukaku in the box. Inter will be thoroughly pleased with how this is going.
R. Lukaku
Goal
Internazionale
55' GOAL! 3-0 INTER! This game is over as a contest. Lukaku does a few step-overs and drills a shot between Bremer's legs past Sirigu. Inter are just too good.
53' Torino manage to work the ball forward without achieving very much. Inter win possession and then...
51' Lukic tries to dribble forward for Torino but is quickly stopped in his tracks. The waterlogged pitch really isn't helping to create fluid play.
49' Lukaku almost makes it 3-0 Inter! Torino have Sirigu to thank for keeping them in the game after pulling off a reflex save to tip the ball wide. It stops dead in the water next to the goal. Lukaku is offside anyway.
47' Izzo heads over from the right-hand side of the six yard box after he gets on the end of the free-kick.
46' We're underway in the second half! Torino get a free-kick as D'Ambrosio commits a clumsy challenge on Ansaldi.
The main reason Inter are ahead is their ruthlessness on the counter-attack. The visitors had 34% possession in that first half. Torino have to chase the game in the second half without their captain Belotti. Can they hurt Inter, or will this be a routine win for Conte's men?
That was a comfortable first half for Inter. The visitors have showed their quality with clinical goals by Martinez and De Vrij. They're playing well in difficult conditions which have seen two players go off injured. Torino haven't tested Handanovic too much.
Borja Valero
N. Barella
Internazionale
45' + 3' Inter substitution. Barella has gone off due to his injury. Valero will replace him for the second half.
45' + 3' HALF-TIME: TORINO 0-2 INTER
45' + 2' Vecino punts De Silvestri's cross out for a Torino corner. It's taken short to Ansaldi whose shot is blocked. Torino try the trick again, Verdi crosses from the goal-line and Handanovic makes a fantastic low stop to keep De Vrij's accidental kick out! That's a vital save right before half-time.
45' There'll be three added minutes in this first half.
44' The pitch is still heavy with water as some passes are clearly bobbling around. D'Ambrosio blocks Ansaldi's shot from outside the box. In the meantime, Barella picked up an injury somewhere in that last chance. Will he need to go off too?
42' Torino push forward too much from the corner and Inter are suddenly 3 v 2! Lukaku powers through the middle and feeds Barella who forces Sirigu into a decent stop! Torino soon get a free-kick for handball against Lukaku in the box. It isn't.
40' Skriniar slides in on Lukic to concede a free-kick in a central position. From it, Torino get a succession of corners. Nothing comes of them.
39' Ansaldi plays a hopeful cross-shot into the box but Handanovic catches it. The Argentine is Torino's best attacking outlet so far.
38' Barella plays a one-two from the throw yet can't prevent the ball from going out of play at the goalline. Torino goal-kick.
37' Zaza chests Bremer's long ball down in the box but it isn't long until De Vrij is on his case. Inter clear and Barella wins his side a throw down their left.
Lautaro Martínez
Yellow Card
Internazionale
35' Martinez is booked for one word too many to the referee. He's getting some rough treatment from Torino's defenders.
34' Inter are hunting for more. Martinez's shot from outside the box is blocked after he picks up a pass from Brozovic.
C. Biraghi
Assist
Internazionale
33' Biraghi took the corner initially then played the one-two to curl it in left-footed. A lovely assist by Inter's left wing-back.
S. de Vrij
Goal
Internazionale
32' GOAL! 2-0 INTER! Inter take the corner short and De Vrij races in at the far post to stab the ball into the net. A well-worked set-piece but that was too easy for Inter.
30' Zaza almost wriggles through on goal from a long ball but Handanovic is alert to it. Inter go upfield and Brozovic curls a fantastic deep cross for Lukaku, who forces Sirigu to dive to his left to keep it out! That was almost 2-0 Inter. Inter corner.
29' The crowd are doing their best to keep spirits high despite the obviously horrendous weather. Good on them.
27' Handanovic makes an excellent save from Ansaldi's first-time effort from the left! Verdi latches onto the ball to follow up and drags his shot wide. It's deflected though. Torino corner. From it, Nkoulou blazes over. A decent spell of play for Torino.
25' Lukic curls in a cross from the right looking for Zaza but Inter's defence stand firm. Torino still have possession, though - they cross in again, but Skriniar wins the header.
23' Torino keep committing niggly fouls to stop Inter getting anywhere. Torino have conceded 189 fouls in Serie A so far this season (16 per game on average), more than any other side in the competition. On this evidence, you can believe it.
22' Torino pop the ball around for a bit, trying to get forward. Eventually Zaza is caught offside from Nkoulou's long ball.
21' Torino over-commit and Brozovic carries Inter forward. D'Ambrosio crosses from the right but it's out of play for a Torino goal-kick.
20' Play stops as Martinez holds the side of his head. This time he's been manhandled by Nkoulou. The stop-start play isn't making this a great game.
18' Martinez is judged offside. The Argentine takes a whack in the face from Bremer's trailing arm but the pair manage to reconcile their differences.
17' De Silvestri plays the ball off Biraghi for a Torino corner. The first delivery isn't great but goes out for another. D'Ambrosio wins the header from the second and Bremer stops Inter countering by booting the ball out.
15' Torino get a free-kick down their left flank. Inter work it away but not entirely. Brozovic heads the second cross out for a throw.
S. Zaza
A. Belotti
Torino
12' It's confirmed - Belotti sadly can't continue. Zaza takes his place up front for Torino.
M. Vecino
Assist
Internazionale
12' Vecino can claim the assist for that one. Inter turned defence into attack in seconds. They really look good this year.
Lautaro Martínez
Goal
Internazionale
12' GOAL! 1-0 INTER! Martinez gives Inter the lead with a clinical finish on the break after Inter win the second ball from Sirigu's goal-kick and work it forward quickly. That's his sixth goal in 13 league games this season.
11' Biraghi takes this one from the left. Inter kick the ball into the ground twice and Belotti swivels to hook it away. The striker's is in some difficulty after that fall earlier though. It looks like he'll have to go off.
10' Brozovic's corner comes in and De Vrij can't quite wrap his foot around it. It'll be another Inter corner from the opposite side.
9' Godin lumps the ball forward for Lukaku to chase. Izzo is under pressure and nods it out of play for an Inter corner.
8' Ansaldi manages to clip in a cross from the left and Handanovic rises high to tip it away from danger. The home fans howl after Inter win a free-kick in their half.
7' Inter's attack breaks down and Torino break down the left through Ansaldi, who wins a throw. It'll be interesting to see how the two sides' 3-5-2s match up.
6' Belotti is holding his side and has left the pitch for now while the physios treat him with the magic spray. In the meantime, play resumes.
4' Lukaku almost gets loose on the counter but Bremer just manages to nick the ball away with a sliding tackle. Belotti lands badly after he rises to challenge for a header with Skriniar. He needs treatment.
3' Godin puts the ball out of play for a second Torino corner. It's a decent start by the home side. This time the delivery's wayward and Inter boot it clear.
2' Torino get the first corner of the game as Izzo's corner is cleared. Torino take it short but D'Ambrosio wins the header at the far post to give Torino a throw down their left.
1' Ten minutes later than planned, we're underway!
The two sides are finally out on the pitch on a rainy evening in Torino. There's been a slight delay to kick-off due to the awful weather. Torino are wearing their usual home maroon strip, while Inter are sporting their sky blue and white away strip.
Torino will hope their tonking of Brescia cleared their system after a dry spell - in the six games prior to that, they gained two points and scored just three goals. Inter have won their opening six away games for the first time since 2012/13 - can Conte's men make it seven?
Torino make two changes from their 4-0 away win at Brescia last time out. Baselli and De Silvestri come in while Rincon and Aina drop to the bench. Inter also change two players in their starting XI from their 2-1 victory over Verona two weeks ago as Godin and D'Ambrosio step in.
SUBS: Valentino Lazaro, Andrea Ranocchia, Federico Dimarco, Matias Fonseca, Sebastiano Esposito, Daniele Padelli, Borja Valero, Alessandro Bastoni, Antonio Candreva, Tommaso Berni, Lucien Agoume.
INTER (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic (c); Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Diego Godin; Danilo D'Ambrosio, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, Cristiano Biraghi; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
SUBS: Simone Zaza, Alex Berenguer, Samir Ujkani, Tomas Rincon, Koffi Djidji, Ola Aina, Antonio Rosati, Simone Edera.
TORINO (3-5-2): Salvatore Sirigu; Armando Izzo, Nicolas Nkoulou, Bremer; Cristian Ansaldi, Sasa Lukic, Daniele Baselli, Soualiho Meite, Lorenzo De Silvestri; Simone Verdi, Andrea Belotti (c).
Torino will prove a test of Inter's mettle though. The home side have won their last two Serie A home games against Inter - indeed, Inter haven't beaten Torino in their last five attempts in Serie A. Can Inter keep the pressure on Juve and maintain their nascent title challenge?
Inter have made a storming start to life under Antonio Conte. Their haul of 31 points from 12 games so far in Serie A is their best at this stage of a season since 1988/89. Carry on like this and they could well be formidable challengers to serial champions Juventus this season.
Torino get the first free-kick of the game as D'Ambrosio goes in a little hard on Ansaldi. It'll be interesting to see how the two sides' 3-5-2s work against each other.
