UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League

Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Southampton are next in action at home against Chelsea on Saturday. Wolves face Leeds in their next outing on Friday at Molineux.
Wolves complete a second-half comeback to defeat Southampton 2-1 in their Premier League clash at St Mary's Stadium. Danny Ings put the Saints ahead with a fine volley in the first half from Stuart Armstrong's cross. However, the visitors got back into the game when Ryan Bertrand was penalised for handball in the box, with Ruben Neves converting from the penalty spot. Pedro Neto then produced a moment of magic to notch the game-winning strike. The Saints suffer their sixth league defeat on the bounce - producing an unwanted club record for Ralph Hasenhuttl.
90' + 5' Wolves are working the clock by keeping the ball in the corner. They're almost over the line.
M. Kilman
Pedro Neto
90' + 3' Kilman replaces Neto for the closing stages of the game to shore up the Wolves defence.
90' + 2' Southampton look short of ideas in the final third. They've had no answer for the visitors since the restart.
90' There will be five minutes of added time.
Pedro Neto
Yellow Card
90' Neto goes into the book for obstructing Redmond's quick free-kick.
Fábio Silva
Willian José
89' Silva replaces Willian Jose up top for Wolves in the closing stages.
86' Wolves are doing a fine job of putting their foot on the ball to prevent the Saints from building momentum. The visitors are edging their way towards a vital victory.
84' WIDE! Djenepo feeds Redmond down the right flank after Traore fails to win a free-kick. Redmond whips a dangerous cross towards the near post that Adams reaches with a diving header. However, he can only place his effort wide of the right post.
81' Southampton are beginning to up the ante, but the visitors are holding firm at the back for now.
79' DOUBLE SAVE! Patricio keeps Wolves ahead with a brilliant double stop. Ings tees up Ward-Prowse on the edge of the box and he fires low towards the bottom-left corner. Patricio gets down to parry the strike, but has to react quickly to deny Adams on the rebound. The keeper spreads himself and makes the block, diverting the ball back off the foward to earn a goal-kick.
77' Patricio is brave in the box as he comes off his line and raises to make a difficult claim amid the presence of Vestergaard from Ward-Prowse's corner.
76' Bertrand releases Adams down the left flank and he goes for a cutback into the box. Dendoncker is alert and diverts the ball behind for a corner.
74' Traore sends a teasing cross in from the right flank towards the near post. The ball takes an awkward bounce ahead of McCarthy, but he does well to gather under pressure.
M. Salisu
K. Walker-Peters
72' Salisu is on for the home side to replace the ailing Walker-Peters
71' Walker-Peters is struggling for the home side and may have to make way here.
70' Neto has been directly involved in nine Premier League goals this season (five goals & four assists), the most of any U21 player in the competition this season.
C. Adams
S. Armstrong
69' Adams comes on for Armstrong in the final third, which will see Redmond shift wide.
Fernando Marçal
Jonny Castro
69' Jonny is withdrawn down the left flank for the visitors and is replaced by Marcal.
68' OVER! Ings latches on to a loose ball on the edge of the Wolves box, but he scoops his effort over the bar.
Rúben Neves
66' Neves releases Neto down the right flank, but the forward does the rest with a brilliant run and finish.
Pedro Neto
66' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! NETO FINISHES WITH A SUBLIME STRIKE!!!! 2-1 WOLVES!!! The visitors complete a second-half comeback through a special effort from Neto. The forward twists and turns past Vestegaard in the right inside channel. He opens up his body to strike from a tight angle and has enough curl on his left-footed strike into the far corner. A stunner from Neto.
64' Walker-Peters makes a hash of a clearance at the back, heading straight to Jonny. The full-back recovers enough to divert the ball behind for a corner.
M. Djenepo
T. Minamino
62' Minamino is withdrawn by the home side and is replaced Djenepo.
62' CLOSE! Moutinho puts a perfect cross in from the right flank, forcing Bednarek to clear over his own bar. The defender had to act there.
J. Bednarek
Yellow Card
61' Bednarek brings down Neto on the charge down the right flank and goes into the book.
60' SAVE! Wolves press down the right flank through Semedo. His cross is replled by Vestergaard towards Neves on the edge of the box. The midfielder strikes at goal on the half-volley, but his effort is deflected and saved by McCarthy.
59' Vestergaard brings down Semedo on the right flank to concede a free-kick, but the resulting delivery is claimed with ease by McCarthy.
57' Southampton are up in arms for a penalty as Armstrong's delivery strikes Dendoncker. The home side believe it hit his arm, but both the referee and VAR are not convinced.
56' WIDE! Redmond twists and turns Coady in the right inside channel before placing a pass to Armstrong for the Scot to strike. He goes with his left foot, but Coady recovers to deflect it wide of the right post.
56' Neves has as many goals in his last seven Premier League appearanes as he managed in his previous 78 in the competition (four).
R. Saïss
Yellow Card
54' Saiss slides in on Armstrong and goes into the book for a poor challenge.
Rúben Neves
Penalty Goal
53' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! NEVES CONVERTS!!! 1-1!! Wolves are back in the game as the Portuguese slots his effort home. Neves aims his right-footed strike into the right side of the net, sending McCarthy the wrong way. Game on at St Mary's Stadium.
52' PENALTY TO SOUTHAMPTON! Semedo lines up a drive at goal and his effort strikes the left hand of Bertrand. The referee points to the spot.
50' Wolves win their second corner of the half, but the home side rise to the occasion to clear the danger.
47' Traore has a burst down the left flank and wins a corner for the visitors, but the Saints are able to clear their lines.
46' We're back underway at St Mary's Stadium.
Wolves have offered very little in the final third outside of a header from Willian Jose that may have been offside anyway. Nuno Espirito Santo's men have lacked a drive to their play going forward. The Portuguese needs to find a solution for his side to get back into the contest.
Southampton hold a 1-0 lead over Wolves in their Premier League clash at St Mary's Stadium. Danny Ings put the home side in front with a stunning volley, converting after a brilliant run and cross from Stuart Armstrong. Other than the goal both teams have been quiet in the final third, which will have to change in the second half, especially for the visitors.
45' + 3' Ward-Prowse's delivery is cleared at the near post by Dendoncker before the referee ends the half.
45' + 2' The Saints win a corner just before the break. They have one last chance to threaten the Wolves' goal.
45' There will be two minutes of added time.
44' Redmond weaves his way through several Wolves players in the middle of the park, but the move comes to nothing for the home side. The forward lacked support from his team-mates there.
42' Neto works the ball into the path of Jonny down the left flank, but he overhits his delivery out for a goal-kick.
40' WIDE! Neto swings the resulting corner in from the right flank on his left foot. Willian Jose rises, but can only direct his header wide of the left post.
39' Semedo breaks behind Bertrand, but the left-back sticks out a boot to guide it back towards McCarthy. The keeper is not expecting the backpass and has to clear behind for a corner.
37' CHANCE! Redmond releases Ings down the right flank and continues his run into the box. The forward picks out Redmond in the box, but he fails to connect with his strike on goal, slicing it wide of the target.
36' Southampton have won two of their last six Premier League matches when scoring first (D2 L2).
34' Jonny tries to find space down the left flank, but Walker-Peters is there to stop his progress. There's no room for Wolves to play in the final third.
33' Wolves are struggling to get a foothold in the game. The visitors have offered next to nothing going forward.
31' Vestergaard launches a fine diagonal ball over the top for Walker-Peters. The full-back reaches it and tries to angle a pass across the face of goal, but there's no Southampton player there to capitalise.
30' Only Matt Le Tissier (100), James Beattie (68) and Marian Pahars (42) have more Premier League goals for Southampton than Ings (37).
28' Romeu catches Moutinho on the back of the ankle and the referee awards a free-kick to the visitors. Romeu has to be very careful after his earlier yellow.
26' Ings is one of only four players to score 30 Premier League goals since the start of last season, along with Mohamed Salah (36), Jamie Vardy (35) and Harry Kane (31).
S. Armstrong
25' Armstrong surges down the left flank with a fine run before lifting a sublime cross into the box for Ings to connect with and score.
D. Ings
25' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! INGS SCORES A STUNNER!!!! 1-0 SOUTHAMPTON!!!! Ings puts the Saints ahead with a thumping volley from inside the box. Armstrong is the architect with a brilliant solo run down the left flank before supplying a perfect cross into the box. Ings meets it first time on his right foot and he dispatches his effort into the top-right corner, leaving Patricio with no chance. A super effort.
23' Southampton are starting to get their foot on the ball to force the visitors back into their own half. There are encouraging signs for Hasenhuttl.
21' Since the start of the 2015/16 season, Romeu has received 51 yellow cards in the Premier League, 11 more than any other player.
19' SAVE! Patricio denies Redmond with a solid stop. Ward-Prowse releases Redmond down the left flank, and he spots Ings in space and offloads. Ings looks for space to shoot, but Wolves flood back in numbers to stop the strike. He passes back to Redmond, who shoots low and hard towards the bottom-right corner, only to see his effort well saved by the Wolves keeper.
18' Traore has room to run down the right flank at Vestergaard, but the winger takes a heavy touch and sends the ball out for a goal-kick.
Oriol Romeu
Yellow Card
17' Romeu wipes out Moutinho as the Portuguese gets the better of him in a duel. The Southampton midfielder goes into the book.
15' Neto has space down the left flank and launches a cross into the box. It deflects off Walker-Peters and loops dangerously into the six-yard area, but McCarthy comes off his line early to make the claim.
14' Neves and Jonny have a miscommunication, which sees the former play a cross-field pass straight out for a throw-in.
12' Both sides are working the ball around the pitch well, but the two defences have been on their mettle so far.
10' Redmond releases Minamino into space down the left inside channel. He fires low towards the bottom-left corner, but Patricio makes the save. A goal would not have counted anyway as Redmond was offside in the build-up.
8' WIDE! Moutinho latches on to a poor clearance from Vestergaard and takes aim with a strike on his right boot. However, he slices his effort well wide of the target.
8' Ings latches on to a clip over the top from Armstrong, but he drills his effort straight into the body of Saiss, who produces a solid block.
6' OVER! Neto swings a cross into the box that Willian Jose attacks with a free header, only to nod his attempt over the bar. The forward may have been offside anyway.
5' Neto draws a foul from Bednarek on the left flank that will allow the forward to send a cross into the box from a free-kick.
2' Ward-Prowse feeds Minamino on the left flank, who tries to cut a pass back to Redmond in the box. However, the forward takes a poor touch and allows the visitors to clear the danger.
1' We're underway at St Mary's Stadium.
Southampton have won just one of their last nine league matches against Wolves (D4 L4), winning 3-1 at St Mary’s in April 2019.
There are six changes for Wolves from their defeat to the Saints at Molineux. Patricio is back between the sticks in place of Ruddy. Coady retakes his place in the back three alongside Dendoncker and Saiss, while Semedo starts at right wing-back. Jana-Hoever and Kilman drop to the bench. Neto, Willian Jose and Traore all return up to for Nuno's men as Silva, Gibbs-White and Vitinha drop out of the starting line-up.
Southampton have made three changes to the side that beat Wolves in the FA Cup last week. McCarthy returns between the posts, while Vestergaard slots back into the line-up alongside Bednarek in the back four. Minamino returns to the fold on the left wing in place of Djenepo.
WOLVES SUBS: Ki-Jana Hoever, Rayan Ait Nouri, Marcal, Fabio Silva, Morgan Gibbs-White, Vitinha, John Ruddy, Maximilian Kilman, Owen Otasowie.
WOLVES (3-4-3): Rui Patricio; Leander Dendoncker, Conor Coady, Romain Saiss; Nelson Semedo, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Jonny; Adama Traore, Willian Jose, Pedro Neto.
SOUTHAMPTON SUBS: Jack Stephens, Che Adams, Moussa Djenepo, Mohammed Salisu, Nathan Tella, Daniel N'Lundulu, Fraser Forster, Caleb Watts, Kgagelo Chauke.
SOUTHAMPTON (4-4-2): Alex McCarthy; Kyle Walker-Peters, Jan Bednarek, Jannik Vestergaard, Ryan Bertrand; Stuart Armstrong, James Ward-Prowse, Oriol Romeu, Takumi Minamino; Danny Ings, Nathan Redmond.
Wolves were underwhelming in their defeat at the hands of the Saints, but now can focus on improving their fortunes in the Premier League. Nuno Espirito Santo's men have won only one of their last 10 Premier League matches. The Midlands club are not under threat of relegation, but their hopes of competing for a place in the top six are under threat unless they can string positive results together quickly.
Southampton beat Wolves during the week in the FA Cup at Molineux to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition. However, the Saints' form in the Premier League is a concern as the club have lost their last five matches, including their 9-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester United. Ralph Hasenhuttl has displayed a propensity to revive the fortunes of his side in the past and he needs those skills once again to stop Southampton's slide.
Hello and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Southampton and Wolves at St Mary's Stadium.
