UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League
UEFA Conference League Qualifiers

That's it from me here tonight. The end of the season draws ever closer. Until the next time, goodbye!
Southampton rise from 17th to 14th with three games to play. They're just one point and one place behind Palace now.
Southampton claim a deserved first win in five league games. Palace started like a train as Benteke opened the scoring inside two minutes for the second consecutive game, but Ings levelled the scores with his 100th club career goal. Milivojevic saw a penalty saved by Forster on the brink of half-time and Adams made him pay within 90 seconds of the restart, finishing from a deft angle after a clever set-piece routine. Ings was on the periphery for much of the game but his predatory instincts were on show again as he combined with Adams to toepoke past Guaita and kill the game off with 15 minutes to play.
W. Zaha
Yellow Card
90' + 2' Zaha is booked for a late foul on Stephens, and he's perhaps lucky to escape without a red after mouthing off to the referee afterwards.
90' + 2' Southampton are still pressing for another goal. They want to finish the season well after a disappointing drop-off in 2021.
90' Three minutes added on.
88' Southampton are managing this game well now. Their share of possession is up to 63 per cent, and they clearly have no intention of giving Palace a sniff.
86' Obafemi fouls Kouyate as the pair contest a high ball at the edge of the area.
84' Batshuayi latches onto a pass over the top from Eze in the area and tries to flick it inside to shoot, but he's stopped in his tracks by Vestergaard.
82' Minamino dummies a pass from Adams out to the right, where Walker-Peters is overlapping. He collects it and fires in a low cross towards Obafemi, but Ward gets across to slide it behind.
80' Into the final 10 minutes now. It has been a good game all round, but Palace getting two from here looks a big ask. They've had moments in the second half but haven't really maintained any spells of pressure.
J. Mateta
C. Benteke
78' Another Palace change, January signing Mateta coming on for the goalscorer Benteke.
78' Ings has now scored 20 Premier League goals for Southampton at St Mary's. James Beattie is the only other man to have done that at this stadium.
C. Kouyaté
Yellow Card
77' Kouyate is booked for an angry reaction to a challenge from Ward-Prowse.
M. Obafemi
D. Ings
76' The goal is Ings' last touch of the game. Obafemi comes on to replace him.
C. Adams
75' The Adams-Ings partnership at its best. They link up so well together.
D. Ings
75' GOOALL! TWO CHANCES, TWO GOALS FOR INGS! He's had a quiet night but he's a bagged a brace anyway, and Southampton will take that. Adams stretches to collect a pass in a central position 30 yards out, and he slips it through to Ings. It looks as though Guaita might come out and beat him to the ball but he just manages to reach his toe to it and poke it inside the bottom-right corner. Clinical.
74' Minamino puts an early delivery in from the right but it's too close to Guaita, who collects it before Armstrong can latch on.
M. Batshuayi-Atunga
J. Ayew
72' Batshuayi comes on for Ayew as Palace chase the game in the closing stages.
71' Zaha squeezes a pass through to Benteke with his back to goal in the area. He tries to spin and shoot much as Ings did for his first-half equaliser, but he barely connects with his shot.
70' Another Palace change is on the way as Batshuayi laces up his boots in the stands. He'll have 20 minutes to make a difference.
69' Benteke looks to tee up Eze for a shot at the edge of the area but his pass is wayward and it forces the midfielder to go backwards.
67' Ings tries to toe-poke a cross in from the left towards Armstrong, but he punts it straight out for a goal kick.
66' Benteke flicks the ball round the corner for Riedewald to run onto at the left side of the area, and he forces a good reaction save from Forster from a tight angle. The flag goes up, though, as Benteke was slightly offside in the build-up.
J. Schlupp
L. Milivojević
65' Palace make their first change. Milivojevic is off, handing the captain's armband to Dann as he goes. Schlupp enters the fray.
63' Redmond clips a pass over Dann for Armstrong at the edge of the area but it's at an awkward height to control and he's hurried into a shot, which is deflected behind.
61' Oh, that's a great chance for Benteke. Stephens completely miscontrols Salisu's pass and Benteke seizes on it, barrelling into the penalty area but unable to get his shot away before Stephens recovers. The striker looks to slide it into the bottom-left corner but Stephens blocks it behind.
59' No Premier League side has scored more goals from set pieces than Southampton this season. Adams' goal was their 19th, the same number as Chelsea.
57' Minamino's cross from the edge of the area is blocked by Mitchell but it breaks nicely for Walker-Peters, who collects it on the underlap and drives into the area. He looks to fire the ball across the six-yard box but Dann blocks it behind.
55' Milivojevic steps up to take the free-kick from the edge of the area, but he clips a delicate effort straight into the wall. It might just have been too close in.
J. Vestergaard
Yellow Card
54' Vestergaard is booked for tripping Zaha when one-on-one at the edge of the area. It's a good foul to give away, as Zaha was past him and through on goal. Great position for a free-kick, though, just to the left of the D.
53' Redmond should do better there. Adams finds him in space at the left side of the penalty area but a poor first touch kills his forward momentum. Instead of taking it inside and shooting, he has to go the other way and his cross is blocked.
52' Forster dives out to punch a low cross from the right and misses it completely. Luckily for him, the ball drops to a red shirt rather than a white one and the danger is cleared.
51' That's a chance for Palace! Benteke rises above Walker-Peters to meet a corner from the right, and he makes a good connection with his header - but puts it straight at Forster.
50' Adams now has eight Premier League goals this season - twice his tally from 2019-20.
S. Armstrong
48' Palace just didn't react to Armstrong's drilled low ball from the edge of the area. Stephens missed it, but Adams was there to turn it in.
C. Adams
48' GOOOALL! 2-1 SOUTHAMPTON, ADAMS! Inside 90 seconds of the restart! It's a brilliantly worked corner from the home side. Ward-Prowse fires it to Armstrong at the edge of the area, and he drills it across goal towards the back post. It looks to be going behind for a goal kick but from the tightest of angles, a sliding Adams somehow manages to turn it in.
47' Ward-Prowse sends in a free-kick from deep on the left. Adams looks to flick it goalwards but misses it, Ward nodding it behind for a corner to be safe.
46' Armstrong and Milivojevic collide shin-on-shin within 30 seconds of the restart, both going down in pain. The Palace man doesn't go down straight away but he stays down for a while before running it off.
45' We're back underway.
M. Salisu
J. Bednarek
45' Southampton make a change at the back. Salisu replaces Bednarek.
The question now is whether these teams can keep up the impressive tempo to this game. We're very deep into a very busy season.
This has been a surprisingly good game of football! There's nothing to play for other than pride but Palace raced out of the blocks, Benteke opening the scoring inside two minutes for the second game in a row with a well-taken effort after a free-kick. Southampton fought their way back into it and Ings drew them level with his 100th club career goal, a typically clinical turn-and-finish from close range. Milivojevic had the chance to restore Palace's lead late in the half as Zaha won a penalty from Redmond, but Forster saved his spot-kick.
45' + 2' Ward-Prowse is the Premier League's go-to free-kick specialist right now, and this one looks tailor-made for him. It's a couple of yards beyond the edge of the D, very slightly to the left of centre. He hits it well and Guaita is rooted to the spot, but he bends it just wide of the left post.
J. Ayew
Yellow Card
45' + 1' Ayew is booked for clipping Redmond's heels just outside the area in a central position. Good position for a free-kick.
45' Two minutes added on.
45' Milivojevic has missed three of his 25 penalties in the Premier League, with this his first miss from the spot since one against Everton back in October 2018.
J. Bednarek
Yellow Card
44' Bednarek gets the first yellow card of the night for a foul from behind on Zaha as he gathered momentum over the halfway line.
42' There was a VAR check for encroachment after the penalty was saved. It takes a moment and Forster must have has his heart in his mouth, but nothing comes of it.
L. Milivojević
Penalty Miss
41' Milivojevic's penalty is SAVED! He goes hard to the bottom-right corner and Forster goes the right way, getting plenty behind it to prevent a rebound.
40' PENALTY to Crystal Palace! No hesitation from referee Andy Madley! Zaha gets away from Minamino in the area and Redmond bundles him over from behind. An easy decision.
38' Eze lifts what looks to be a lovely pass out to the advancing Zaha on the left flank, but it's just slightly overhit and he can't quite bring it under control. Palace win the ball back from the throw-in and Benteke gets away from Bednarek before driving into the area, but Walker-Peters gets across to make a good block.
36' Ward-Prowse's corner from the right is punched straight up in the air by Guaita, and the ball eventually drops to Stephens in space at the left side of the area. He hesitates before shooting and it just gives a Palace defender time to get across and make an important block.
34' Better from Palace just then, but they were nearly the architects of their own downfall with that corner. Benteke had to stretch to bring the ball down and Ward couldn't collect it, so Benteke's touch ended up as the perfect pass for Ward-Prowse to latch onto.
32' Ward-Prowse leads a rapid Southampton counter-attack from a Palace corner. He plays in Minamino to his right as four men in red approach the penalty area, but Milivojevic blocks his attempted low cross.
30' Minamino and Walker-Peters combine to pull Zaha down just outside the left side of the area. Eze tries to find Benteke at the far post with the resulting free-kick but it's a relatively simple punch clear for Forster with nobody immediately in front of him.
29' Credit to Southampton; they have fought back very well after a nightmare start. Palace haven't really threatened since Benteke's early opener, while the hosts seem to be kicking into gear.
27' Another good save from Guaita! The resulting corner from Redmond's shot isn't properly cleared and it comes to Adams in almost exactly the same position as Redmond. He tries the same thing, wrapping his right boot around the ball and looking for the bottom-right corner, but this one's closer to the keeper and an easier save.
26' Good save Guaita! Adams flicks a pass from Armstrong round the corner to Redmond, who is wide open at the left side of the area. He drifts inside and looks to curl a shot into the far bottom corner, but the keeper gets down and gets a strong hand to it to tip it around the corner.
24' Since the start of last season, only Harry Kane (39), Mohamed Salah (39) and Jamie Vardy (36) have netted more Premier League goals than Ings (33).
23' This could have been a total damp squib, but both teams look really up for it.
21' Eleven Premier League goals this season for Ings, who goes level with Kelechi Iheanacho on that figure.
N. Redmond
19' Redmond gets the assist but that's all about Ings. Brilliant centre-forward play.
D. Ings
19' GOOOALLL! SOUTHAMPTON LEVEL, INGS! It's brilliant from the forward. Redmond fires in a cross from the left and Ings controls it perfectly, knocking it back away from Kouyate and swivelling to slot it into the bottom-right corner with his back to goal. Superb finish.
19' Vestergaard only half-clears the ball with a header in the centre of the area, and it drops to Ward just outside the box, over to the right. He instinctively flicks a boot at it and for a moment it looks to be dropping towards the top-left corner, but it's an easy catch for Forster in the end.
18' Benteke and Bednarek challenge for a high ball and the forward does really well, holding his marker off while flicking it around the corner with the outside of his boot. He wins a free-kick in midfield as Bednarek drags him back rather than letting him run towards goal.
16' Zaha seems to be walking with a limp for a moment after a challenge from Ward-Prowse, but it looks to have just been a kick on the foot rather than anything serious. He'll walk it off.
14' Southampton get another corner on the right. Ward-Prowse delivers an awkward-looking outswinging ball onto the line of the six-yard box and Guaita does well to punch clear in a crowd of players, but the linesman judges the ball to have swung straight out of play anyway.
12' Redmond pressures Dann into giving away a corner as he chases a pass in behind. The defender is clearly frustrated at Guaita for not coming out to collect the loose ball. Ward-Prowse's first delivery is headed behind by Joel Ward, before Benteke and Mitchell combine to clear the second.
11' Palace have scored in the opening two minutes of both of their last two Premier League games. They had previously done so in three out of 459 games.
9' Ward-Prowse floats a cross-field pass out to Walker-Peters by the right corner of the Palace penalty area, but the right-back is flagged offside as he brings it down.
7' Benteke scored 66 seconds into Palace's last game and this goal was positively sluggish by comparison, coming right on the two-minute mark.
5' Minamino looks to drift infield from the right but he's taken down from behind by Ayew, who looked like he was trying to get out of the way. No card.
4' You wouldn't know there was nothing to play for! This game has started at a frantic pace.
C. Benteke
2' GOOOALLL! 1-0 PALACE, BENTEKE INSIDE TWO MINUTES! Dann nods down a free-kick from the left flank, it comes to Benteke and the home defence just can't get it off him. He brings it down in a crowd of players, turns and smashes it across the keeper, into the bottom-right corner.
1' Benteke tries his luck from range early on, picking the ball up from Eze just outside the left corner of the area. He strikes a powerful right-footed effort towards the far bottom corner, but it zips just wide.
1' We're off!
The teams are on their way out and kick-off is just moments away.
Southampton haven't won any of their last three league games against Palace, and haven't kept a clean sheet in any of their last seven league games here at St Mary's. Then again, Palace have won only one of their last 10 league games in midweek.
Southampton were beaten 2-0 at Liverpool last time out and Hasenhuttl makes two changes from that game, with Minamino and Adams brought into the XI in place of Walcott and Tella. Palace beat Sheffield United 2-0 in their last game but they make three changes. Cahill, Schlupp and Townsend drop out, with Dann, Riedewald and Ayew coming in.
SUBS: Martin Kelly, Jack Butland, Michy Batshuayi, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Jeffrey Schlupp, Andros Townsend, Gary Cahill, Patrick van Aanholt, James McCarthy.
CRYSTAL PALACE (4-3-3): Vicente Guaita; Tyrick Mitchell, Scott Dann, Cheikhou Kouyate, Joel Ward; Eberechi Eze, Luka Milivojevic, Jairo Riedewald; Wilfried Zaha, Christian Benteke, Jordan Ayew.
SUBS: Daniel N'Lundulu, Alex McCarthy, Michael Obafemi, Moussa Djenepo, Nathan Tella, Ibrahima Diallo, Will Ferry, Theo Walcott, Mohammed Salisu.
SOUTHAMPTON (4-4-2): Fraser Forster; Jack Stephens, Jannik Vestergaard, Jan Bednarek, Kyle Walker-Peters; Nathan Redmond, Stuart Armstrong, James Ward-Prowse, Takumi Minamino; Danny Ings, Che Adams.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Saints are 17th with four games to play but the relegation spots are all sewn up, so there’s no peril for them tonight. Roy Hodgson’s Palace are 13th but the top half is a long way off, meaning there isn't an awful lot to play for tonight. Pressure’s off, have a bit of fun, lads!
Hello and welcome to our coverage of this Tuesday evening Premier League match. The season is almost over so enjoy it while it lasts, starting at St Mary’s tonight with Southampton against Crystal Palace.
