Commentary

Real Madrid's youngsters performed well in the second half, but the damage was done in the first. Goals from Ikone and a brace from substitute Meunier, including a long-range stunner, had PSG in control before Marcelo struck from the penalty spot for Madrid. It was Madrid's first game this pre-season and it showed. The second half was far more even, but the French giants closed out a comfortable win.
FULL-TIME: REAL MADRID 1-3 PSG
Mariano Diaz fires at goal but it goes wide! At the other end, Di Maria tries to be too clever with a chip in a one-on-one.
Real Madrid's youngsters have looked solid without creating clear-cut chances. PSG look comfortable in seeing this out.
Ben Arfa and Di Maria look to combine in the area, but the latter slightly over-hits his pass and Yanez collects.

Substitution
PSG make another four changes. Cavani, Rabiot, Lucas and Kurzawa are off, with Nkunku, Ben Arfa, Maxwell and Georgen coming on.
CHANCE! It simply will not go in for Cavani. Meunier puts a ball across from the right and the striker powers an effort wide.
Asensio has looked lively and he has another shot, firing well over the top of Trapp's goal.
Madrid are still looking vulnerable at the back. Cavani breaks into plenty of space, but his shot from just outside the area is blocked.
Cavani finally finds the net, but he is correctly – just! – ruled offside.
This has been quite impressive by Madrid's youngsters to start the second half. Asensio in particular has looked lively, but can they pull back to within a goal?
Real Madrid's youngsters are looking threatening. Asensio is the latest to go close, shooting wide with his left.
CHANCE! Cavani goes close again for PSG. He gets on the end of a long Di Maria pass and pokes at goal, but Yanez stands up and saves well.
Decent start to the second half by Madrid. Zidane shoots from 25 yards, but his strike is directed straight at Trapp who holds comfortably.
Substitution
PSG have made two changes of their own at the break, with Di Maria replacing goalscorer Ikone. Stambouli has come on for Pastore.

Substitution
In fact, it's 11 changes for Madrid at half-time. The starting line-up is off, with Febas, M. Diaz, Lienhart, Hakimi, Tejero, Carvajal, Yanez, E. Zidane, Asensio, Llorente and Odegaard coming on.
Looks like there will be a host of changes for Real Madrid to start the second half.
Quite the half in Ohio and PSG deservedly lead. Poor defending has cost Real Madrid, who were punished early by a fine Ikone effort. The loss of Silva to injury hurt PSG but his replacement, Meunier, came on to score a brace. He struck with a long-range screamer before making it 3-0. A Marcelo penalty late in the half at least gives Madrid some hope of winning this game.
HALF-TIME: REAL MADRID 1-3 PSG
Madrid are pushing for a second after finally pulling one back. They look lively going forward, but have been undone at the back.

Penalty Goal Marcelo Vieira da Silva Júnior
PENALTY! Marcelo plays a pass down the left to Isco, whose cross is blocked by the arm of Aurier. The referee has no hesitation in pointing to the spot.
CLOSE! Isco tries his luck from 25 yards, but his left-footed strike takes a deflection and goes wide. From the corner, Casemiro heads over.

Yellow Card
Another yellow card for PSG as Kurzawa is booked, albeit rather harshly after a foul on the right.
CHANCE! PSG almost double their lead through Cavani, who gets ahead of his marker and pokes an effort just wide.
The tempo has slowed, unsurprisingly, after a free-flowing start in Ohio. Ikone's fine individual effort still all that separates the two teams.
Moments after Trapp is forced into a straightforward save, Cavani tries with the spectacular, but his flying volley from just outside the area is never a threat to the Madrid goal.
Madrid are seemingly finally getting into this game, with Danilo firing high and wide moments after Kovacic's chance.
CHANCE! Kovacic inches away from an equaliser for Madrid. The Croatia international curls an effort from just outside the area, but Trapp gets a hand to it and tips it onto the post before collecting the loose ball.
S. Aurier

Yellow card Serge Aurier
Yellow Card
Another booking for PSG. This time Aurier is shown a yellow card after fouling Morata on the left.
PSG, exciting and quick, call Casilla into action. The goalkeeper comes off his line to collect a dangerous ball over the top. PSG are on top early.
Marcelo gets a chance with a set-piece for Madrid, but the full-back over-hits his cross and it goes out harmlessly for a goal kick.

Morata makes space for himself down the left, but his cross is poor and into the side-netting.

Yellow Card
Early booking for Thiago Silva, who is shown a yellow card for a late challenge out wide on Jese.
Madrid appear to have woken up after conceding early, and there is an excellent intensity about this game in the opening stages.
Lively start here! Real Madrid look for an instant response as Isco fires wide from 25 yards.
