PSG are in action against Brest next week on the road where Messi could make his debut. Strasbourg are at home in their next outing against Troyes next Saturday.
Paris Saint-Germain secure their second Ligue 1 win on the bounce, although they were forced to work harder than they anticipated in their 4-2 triumph over Strasbourg. The home side cantered into a 3-0 lead in the first half courtesy of goals from Mauro Icardi, Kylian Mbappe and Julian Draxler. Goal
86' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! SARABIA FINDS THE NET!!!! 4-2 PSG!!! The home side kill off the game at last as Sarabia turns home a low cross from Mbappe. The goal is all about the Frenchman as he surges down the left flank and beats Perrin with ease. He sends a low ball across the face of goal that Sarabia slots into the back of the net with Sels stranded. That should be the game secured.
82' It's a huge blow for the visitors to be reduced to 10 men, especially in those circumstances. They face a real battle to force a positive result now.
81' RED CARD! Djiku receives his second booking in the space of two minutes and is sent off. He nudges Icardi to the ground in a challenge for the ball, but there does not appear to be a lot in the tackle. The referee is convinced and brandishes a yellow then the red card. 58' PSG have to be careful here. They've been been too casual in the second half and are in danger of giving Strasbourg more than a sniff of getting back into the game.
57' Prcic makes a good run forward and he has Ajorque in space, but he fails to beat Kehrer with his cross. The offside flag goes up late, although none of the players in and around the PSG box knew it.

Mauricio Pochettino will have minor complaints as Strasbourg have had a couple of decent efforts through Kevin Gameiro and Ludovic Ajorque. It will not matter today, but the Argentine will be keen to drum into his side about their standards in all areas of the pitch.
Paris Saint-Germain are in complete control of their Ligue 1 contest against Strasbourg at the break. Mauro Icardi headed his team in front from Abdou Diallo's cross. Kylian Mbappe then found the back of the net with the aid of a massive deflection before turning provider to tee up Julian Draxler. It has been a dominant performance from the off from the home side.

34' Kimpembe and Icardi combine to allow the Argentine to shoot from the edge of the box, but Ajorque gets out to block his strike.
31' PSG can relax after their two-minute onslaught. It's a terrifying thought for the rest of Ligue 1 that they are playing without Messi, Neymar, Ramos, Marquinhos and Donnarumma and are still dominating.
29' Aholou is struggling for the visitors and may have to make way as he receives treatment on the pitch.
J. Draxler
Goal
27' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!! DRAXLER CONVERTS AT THE BACK POST!!!!! PSG 3-0!!!!!!! Pochettino's men take complete control by scoring their third goal as Draxler taps home from two yards. Diallo swings a perfect cross in from the left flank and Icardi does well to rise and connect with his header. Sels' positioning is suspect as he stops in the process of coming to claim the delivery, and is then beaten by the precise effort from the Argentine. A VAR check forces Icardi to wait, but he just keeps himself onside.
2' Diallo sends Mbappe into the left-inside channel with an early offload, but he gets crowded out before he can threaten.

It will take a flawless performance tonight from the visitors to avoid a second loss in a row.

Mauricio Pochettino's men pulled off the coup after Messi and Barcelona could not come to terms due to the Spanish outfit's financial issues.
