Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
United have momentum ahead of their crucial showdown against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium. PSG are next in action in Ligue 1 next Tuesday against Dijon.
Manchester United produce one of the finest Champions League performances in history to overturn a two-goal deficit against Paris Saint-Germain to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition. Given the absences of key players, United were well and truly underdogs for the contest. However, they showed their character with a brilliant effort this evening to score three times in the Parc des Princes to win on away goals. Romelu Lukaku got the ball rolling in the second minute when he capitalised on a mistake from Thilo Kehrer and rounded Gianluigi Buffon to put the visitors ahead. Juan Bernat seemingly put the tie out of their hands when he converted at the back post. However, Lukaku gave his team hope once again when he pounced on a mistake by Buffon to notch his second of game. The second half was a tepid affair as PSG struggled to kill the game off. They paid for their lack of clinical edge when Diogo Dalot's strike hit the arm of Presnel Kimpembe. After a video review a penalty was given and Marcus Rashford held his nerve from 12 yards to fire into the top corner. His strike was enough to send United through to the last eight, while it's an all-too familiar collapse from the French champions in Europe's elite competition.
L. Shaw
Yellow Card
90' + 9' Shaw goes into the book for his challenge on Verratti.
90' + 9' United clear the danger from the edge of the box. The referee blows his whistle for full-time.
90' + 8' Chong gives the ball away twice in quick succession. PSG have one final chance to knock the ball into the box from a foul from Shaw.
90' + 7' PSG are up in arms for a penalty as Di Maria clips a cross into the box. Marquinhos falls to the deck next to Lindelof and looks to the referee, but it's not to be for the home side.
90' + 6' Di Maria fizzes a cross in from the left flank, but it evades everyone in the box and United clear the danger.
90' + 5' De Gea has a moment of madness in the box as he tries to gather a loose ball. He has ample time to catch the ball, but he punches it away into a dangerous area.
E. Cavani
Dani Alves
90' + 5' It's Cavani time, but it might be too little too late for the hosts. He replaces Dani Alves.
Yellow Card
90' + 4' Yellow card Marcos Aoás Corrêa

Penalty Goal
90' + 4' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! RASHFORD DOES IT!!! 3-1 UNITED!!! The England man holds his nerve from 12 yards against the experience of Buffon. He had to wait an age for the spot-kick, but when he struck his effort, he did it with power, rifling his attempt into the top corner. United are heading through as it stands.
90' + 1' PENALTY TO MANCHESTER UNITED! The referee overturns the decision and United have a penalty in stoppage time. The ball did strike Kimpembe on the arm as he jumped in the box, but it's a harsh one as he was making a genuine attempt to block the ball.
90' The strike from Dalot hits Kimpembe on the arm and the referee wants a second look on the video review.
90' Chong and Rashford combine to tee up Dalot, who goes for a strike from distance. The Portuguese sees his right-footed strike deflected behind for a corner.
88' Shaw tries to combine with Rashford on the edge of the box, but the England man loses his footing under pressure from Thiago Silva.
M. Greenwood
A. Young
87' A last roll of the dice for Solskjaer. Greenwood replaces Young for the visitors.
85' Bernat takes a massive gamble at the back as he tries to clear Shaw's cross. He tries to flick the ball out of the box, but fails to connect. Dalot cannot capitalise at the back post.
84' OFF THE POST! Bernat nearly ends the game as he strikes the post. Mbappe is played through on goal, but he loses his footing as he tries to round De Gea. Smalling makes a secondary challenge to tackle the Frenchman before Bernat takes over. He strikes the ball low and hard, but it cannons off the post.
83' The home side are trying to put their foot on the ball to see out the contest. United are chasing shadows at the moment.
81' Smalling has been excellent this evening and he continues to thrive by winning his duel with Mbappe, earning a goal-kick for his team.
T. Chong

80' Di Maria wastes the corner with an awful pass out to Dani Alves. PSG have to hold their composure to see this one out.
79' Dani Alves works the ball over the top for Meunier's run, but Shaw makes an important block to direct his cross out for a corner.
76' Young loses out to Di Maria and the Argentine surges forward before threading a pass through to Mbappe. However, the Frenchman's touch lets him down at the crucial moment and the ball goes out of play.
L. Paredes
Yellow Card
75' Paredes catches Pereira from behind and goes into the book.
73' Mbappe tries to time another run in behind the United defence, but on this occasion the flag goes up for offside.
71' Mbappe raids down the right inside channel and he tries to fire a ball across the face of goal. However, Young is well placed to clear his lines ahead of Di Maria.
L. Paredes
T. Kehrer
70' Kehrer makes way for Paredes.
T. Meunier
J. Draxler
70' Meunier replaces the injured Draxler for the home side.
69' Draxler tries to send a cross in from the right, but McTominay blocks the ball. The German immediately signals to the PSG bench that he needs to come off. Draxler is in trouble with a pulled hamstring.
68' Lukaku turns into space in the middle and he has ample room in front of him to run into. However, he goes for an ambitious pass to Dalot that is intercepted by Bernat.
67' United have space to work the ball, although Dalot fails to dig out a cross into the middle as Bernat blocks his attempt.
66' Mbappe pulls into space on the right wing and he tries to find Di Maria in the middle, but Smalling on the slide makes a good intevention.
63' Draxler gets the better of Shaw down the right flank, scooping a cross into the box. Mbappe connects in the middle, but he skews his volley over the bar. Replays show that the ball had in fact gone out before the German had lifted his cross into the middle.
61' Draxler looks to lift a ball over the top for Di Maria, but Young gets an important touch to guide the ball away from the winger.
60' Di Maria lines up a strike from 25 yards, but unlike his opposite number, De Gea is able to gather the ball with ease.
58' Lukaku grimaces, although he returns to the pitch. United need him to tough this one out.
57' Marquinhos nudges Lukaku to the deck and the Belgian stays down to receive treatment. It would be a huge blow if Lukaku had to come off.
56' DISALLOWED GOAL! Mbappe opens up the United defence with a precise throughball into the left inside channel. Di Maria collects and lifts a sublime chip over De Gea, but as he wheels away in celebration the offside flag is raised.

52' Di Maria on the counter floats a dangerous cross to the back post for Dani Alves. Lindelof has to make the interception and does, guiding the ball out of play for a throw-in.
51' Rashford puts Kehrer under pressure with a chase into the corner, but the defender does well clearing the ball out for the corner.
50' United are searching for balls in behind the PSG backline. Lukaku collects the first one and works the ball back for a sustained period of possession. The second catches Rashford in an offside position.
48' Dani Alves scoops a cross to the back post for Bernat's run, but on this occasion there are plenty of United defenders around the PSG full-back.
46' We're back underway at the Parc des Princes.
PSG dominated possession for the majority of the first half, holding 85 percent of the ball at one stage of the game. However, their lapses at the back have given United belief and now they're in a fight to remain in the competition. The French champions have been accused of lacking composure in European games before and it will be a huge test of their mettle in the second half to advance to the quarter-finals.
Manchester United have produced a fine effort in the first half to bring themselves back into the tie in this round-of-16 Champions League clash. Romelu Lukaku handed his team the perfect start to the game when he capitalised on an error from Thilo Kehrer before rounding Gianluigi Buffon and scoring from a tight angle. Paris Saint-Germain issued a strong response, dominating possession before Juan Bernat converted at the back post. United held firm amid the pressure and notched a vital second goal to cancel out PSG's advantage on away goals as Lukaku profited from another error. Buffon's fumble from Marcus Rashford's strike allowed the Belgian to fire home to bring United within a goal of a memorable comeback.
45' + 1' Dalot threads the needle to release Rashford through the middle. However, he is well tackled by Thiago Silva, which prevents the forward from gettting a strike away at goal.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
44' Dalot slows the play down after receiving the ball on the break. He then opts to play a bizarre pass back to Lindelof that is intercepted by Mbappe. The Frenchman turns on the pace, but then steps on the ball, which quells the attack.
42' Dalot surges at the PSG backline down the right flank and he fires a low ball into the box. It deflects off Marquinhos towards his own goal, but it's tame and straight into the arms of Buffon. Nervy times for PSG.
41' PSG have completely lost their way since Lukaku's second strike of the game. Their history in the competition could be weighing on their minds.
39' Lukaku is the third Belgian to score a brace in a Champions League knockout match, after Daniel van Buyten (Bayern v Milan in April 2007) and Radja Nainggolan (Roma v Liverpool in May 2018).
38' Dani Alves tries to release Mbappe behind the United backline, but the ball takes a favourably bounce for the visitors and lands into the arms of De Gea.
36' OFFSIDE! Young releases Rashford into space and he has time to pull the trigger in the right inside channel, only to pull his effort wide of the post. However, the offside flag was raised late and the strike would not have counted anyway.
Diogo Dalot
E. Bailly
36' Bailly has been struggling from the off in an unnatural position for the Ivorian. Dalot replaces him at right-back.
Á. Di María
Yellow Card
34' Di Maria catches McTominay late and goes into the book.
33' Lukaku loses the ball and it allows PSG to surge forward in numbers. Draxler sends a cross into the middle where Bailly leaves Di Maria unmarked. The Argentine connects with his strike, but the defender recovers to make the block.
32' Verratti catches Bailly late and avoids a booking. PSG have to be very careful not to lose their composure.
R. Lukaku
30' GOALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! LUKAKU NOTCHES A SECOND!!!! 2-1 UNITED!!! Incredible scenes at the Parc des Princes as United go ahead on the night again. The home side have dominated the game, but another inidividual mistake hands Solskjaer's men the advantage this evening. Rashford lines up a strike from distance and the ball dip towards the bottom corner. Buffon fails to hold the ball and he spills it into the middle of the box. Lukaku pounces and fires home from close range. United have cancelled out the away goals from the first leg. Game on.
29' Another mistake by Kehrer allows Rashford to break forward down the left inside channel. He has Lukaku and Young in support, but he fails to look up and he places his low cross behind for a corner.
28' PSG have boasted 85 percent possession in the 28th minute of the contest. It's sheer domination from the hosts.
26' Di Maria lifts the ball towards the near post where Marquinhos tries to swivel and shoot. He fails to connect, but Thiago Silva does not, although he clears the ball with his attempt.
25' Mbappe floats the ball out wide to Di Maria and he runs at Bailly down the flank to win a corner for the hosts.

21' CLOSE! Di Maria finds space on the edge of the box and smashes a left-footed strike towards the target. He connects sweetly with his effort, which flies inches past the post. United are hanging on here.

18' United cannot get a foot on the ball at the moment. PSG are knocking the ball around the pitch with ease around the white shirts.
16' Mbappe is played into space down the right inside channel once again. He tries to force the ball across the face of goal, but succeeds in only hitting the side-netting.
15' Bernat has more Champions League goals in his last five apps (three) than in his first 28 in the competition (two).
14' Di Maria skips past Bailly with ease down the left and he lifts a cross into the box. Dani Alves meets the ball at the back post, only to slice his effort on the half-volley over the bar.
K. Mbappé
12' Mbappe pulls into space before firing a low ball across the face of goal that Bernat converts.
Juan Bernat
12' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! BERNAT LEVELS THE SCORES!!!! 1-1!!! The pressure tells on the United defence as Bernat converts at the back post. The movement of Mbappe was key as he found space in the right inside channel and fired a low ball across the face of goal. Bailly falls asleep in his defensive duties and allows Bernat to run in and slot home to bring the home side level on the night.
11' Smalling does well at the back once again for the visitors. He makes a good challenge to prevent Mbappe from connecting with Dani Alves' cross into the box.
9' PSG have issued a strong response since going behind. They've dominated possession and are putting the United backline under pressure.
8' BLOCK! Smalling has to be well placed in the middle to block a strike from Mbappe after Bernat teed up the Frenchman in the middle.
7' PSG open up United down the left flank and Verratti releases Bernat down the inside channel. He fires a low ball across the face of goal, but it's just out of the reach of Mbappe.
6' Di Maria and Bernat probe down the left flank, but Smalling is well placed at the near post to head two crosses away from danger.
5' Lukaku's strike was Manchester United's quickest Champions League goal (111 seconds) since October 2013 (69 seconds) - an Inigo Martinez own-goal for Real Sociedad.
4' Pereira collides with Dani Alves with a firm challenge and the PSG man is not thrilled with the tackle. The referee awards a free-kick to the home side and brings tensions under control.
R. Lukaku
2' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! LUKAKU GIVES UNITED THE PERFECT START! 1-0!! Kehrer makes a horrendous error at the back, selling Thiago Silva short with an offload. Lukaku seizes on the ball and drives into the box. The Belgian rounds Buffon before slotting the ball into the back of the net on the slide from a tight angle. Solskjaer could not have wished for a better start.
1' We're underway at the Parc des Princes.
No club has ever progressed to the next round of the Champions League after losing the first leg of a knockout match at home by two or more goals (34 previous cases).
United are without several first-team players, leaving their bench barren this evening. Anthony Martial, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard, Ander Herrera, Phil Jones, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Alexis Sanchez are all injured. Pogba is suspended after being dismissed for two bookable offences in the first leg. Solskjaer makes two changes to his team that beat Southampton in the Premier League last time out. Fred and Bailly come into the side, as United play with a back three and a five-man midfield. Rashford and Lukaku lead the line.
PSG defeated Caen at the weekend and have made six changes to their team from their victory. Buffon retakes his place between the sticks from Areola. Meunier and Kurzawa drop to the bench as Thiago Silva and Juan Bernat come into the side. Kimpembe is also recalled to the team in the heart of the defence, while Kehrer switches to right-back. Marquinhos moves into the midfield to partner Verratti, who comes back into the fold.  Draxler gets the nod to start behind Mbappe, with Dani Alves and Di Maria operating on the flanks.
SUBS: Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot, Sergio Romero, James Garner, Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes, Mason Greenwood.
MANCHESTER UNITED (3-5-2): David de Gea; Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof; Ashley Young, Fred, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira, Luke Shaw; Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford.
SUBS: Leandro Paredes, Edinson Cavani, Thomas Meunier, Alphonse Areola, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Layvin Kurzawa, Colin Dagba.
PSG (4-4-1-1): Gianluigi Buffon; Thilo Kehrer, Thiago Silva, Presnel Kimpembe, Juan Bernat; Dani Alves, Marquinhos, Marco Verratti, Angel di Maria; Julian Draxler; Kylian Mbappe.
United have a lot of work to do to get back into the tie after their 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford. They were outplayed by the French champions from start-to-finish. It was a humbling experience given the impressive run of form that the club have enjoyed under the tenure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian has a massive challenge on his hands given that he's down to the bare bones of his squad due to a spate of injuries and Paul Pogba's suspension.
PSG hold a commanding two-goal lead heading into the clash thanks to goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe. As a result, United need to score twice to get back into the game. Thomas Tuchel's men have been on an imperious run of form of late, winning their last eight matches on the bounce. However, they will not be complacent despite their advantage given their past history of failure in the Champions League - none more so than their defeat to Barcelona in 2017.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the second leg of the round-of-16 Champions League clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United at the Parc des Princes.
