That's all for today, goodbye!
Madrid move 18 points clear of second-place Barcelona, and Ancelotti's side are now just four points away from lifting the trophy. They're not in action again until next Tuesday when they face Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final. Osasuna stay in ninth with that loss, but Arrasate will be hoping they can get back to winning ways against Elche in their next league game.
Madrid take another big step towards the LaLiga title with a 3-1 win over Osasuna. The hosts didn't make it easy for them though, with Budimir equalising less than a minute after Alaba gave Madrid the lead in the first half. Asensio put them back ahead on the stroke of half-time though. After the break, Benzema saw two spot-kicks well saved by Herrera, but Vazquez sealed the three points with the last kick of the game when he coolly slotted into the bottom corner.
90' + 7' FULL-TIME: OSASUNA 1-3 REAL MADRID.
Vinícius Júnior
Assist
90' + 6' After missing a glorious chance just moments ago, Vinicius does the unselfish thing this time and lays it off for Vazquez.
Lucas Vázquez
Goal
90' + 6' VAZQUEZ SCORES! And that should do it for Madrid! The move starts with a lovely turn from Benzema and Kroos switches it out to Vinicius. He rides the challenge from Vidal and squares it into the middle for Vazquez. He hits it first time, and Herrera can't get down to keep it out. 3-1 Madrid!
90' + 4' SO CLOSE! It's a wonderful pass from Isco out to Vinicius on the left and he's in behind Vidal as he cuts inside. Benzema is sprinting up in support, but he goes for goal himself and fizzes his low shot just wide of the far post.
90' + 3' There are big shouts from the home fans for a penalty after Moncayola's shot is blocked by Carvajal. They're saying handball and it does hit his elbow, but his arm is tight against his chest.
90' + 1' The board has gone up and there's an additional six minutes to play. Osasuna are still trying to press high upfield, but Madrid look comfortable in possession.
Vinícius Júnior
Rodrygo
90' Madrid are making a late change here as Rodrygo is taken off and replaced by Vinicius.
89' Asensio leaps over the sliding challenge from Aridane, and he has acres of space ahead of him down the left. He pulls it back to Isco, but by the time he has a shot, Garcia is in front of him to block it.
87' WHAT A CHANCE! It's a lovely floated cross onto the edge of the six-yard box from Carvajal and Isco nods it down towards the far post. Nacho is unmarked, but he can only help it wide of the target on the stretch.
Barbero
E. Ávila
85' Final change for Osasuna now and it's Avila that's making way for Barbero.
85' GREAT CHANCE! Carvajal is playing up front at the moment and Benzema plays a one-two with him to open up some space down the left of the box. He snatches at the shot though and fires it over the bar.
84' Valverde cushions a header down for Asensio, and he drives into the box before laying it off to Rodrygo. It pinballs off the Osasuna defenders, with some half-hearted shouts for a handball against Aridane, but the move comes to an end with Rodrygo's slip.
82' The referee has just brought the game to a halt for the time being, and he's gone over to have a word with both managers. Something was thrown onto the pitch, and we're back underway now after a couple of minutes' stoppage.
Roberto Torres
D. Brašanac
79' Another change for Osasuna now and it's Brasanac that's taken off, with Torres on in his place.
78' Herrera is the first goalkeeper to save two penalties in the same LaLiga game since Sergio Asenjo against Getafe in February 2018. He's also the first to do so in a match against Madrid in the competition since 2003-04.
76' Avila whips a great free-kick in from the right and Budimir has a free header in the middle of the box. Madrid are all over the place, but luckily for them, the forward flicks his header wide.
Isco
E. Camavinga
74' Camavinga, who was booked just five minutes into this game is being taken off, and he takes a slow walk off the field. Isco is on for him.
73' Osasuna are pushing higher upfield but they're still struggling to get in behind Madrid. The visitors are staying compact and Budimir eventually runs into Militao.
T. Kroos
Dani Ceballos
71' Ceballos does make his way straight off the pitch and Kroos is brought on in his place.
70' Ceballos has gone down off the ball and Osasuna have put it out so he can receive some treatment. Ancelotti was ready to make a change anyway, so it looks like the Spaniard will have to make way.
68' CHANCE! Ceballos' shot is blocked by Aridane, but it pinballs off Garcia to Camavinga. He decides to have a go from range, and he isn't too far away, but it loops wide.
Kike Barja
Cote
68' And Cote is also taken off, with Barja replacing him.
Oier
Javi Martínez
68' Osasuna are making a double change here, with Oier coming on in place of Martinez.
66' Vazquez stops Budimir from breaking forward and takes it past Sanchez and Cote before squaring it into Asensio. He helps it on at the near post, but can only find Garcia.
64' Osasuna are knocking it around nicely here and Brasanac tees up Moncayola on the edge of the box. He can't sort his feet out quickly enough though and Militao is able to hook it away.
Nacho
Yellow Card
62' The yellow card is out again, this time for Nacho who tripped Budimir as he tried to break. That booking means he'll miss Madrid's next league game.
Éder Militão
Yellow Card
60' Militao pushes into Herrera as the keeper comes to collect Asensio's cross and he's shown a yellow card.
Sergio Herrera
Penalty Save
59' Herrera goes the same way as before and there's a huge roar from the crowd as he pushes this one away as well. He's Osasuna's hero at the moment!
K. Benzema
Penalty Miss
59' IT'S SAVED AGAIN! Despite not scoring the last one, Benzema steps up again and he sends it to the keeper's right again. Herrera gets a strong hand to it though and tips it well wide. Still 2-1!
58' PENALTY TO MADRID! The referee points to the spot for Madrid again, this time after Rodrygo is clipped by Vidal in the box. The Osasuna players are arguing, but there was clear contact.
55' Madrid break quickly on the counter and Benzema squares it to Ceballos on the left of the box. He takes the shot from a tight angle, but this one is blocked by Hernandez.
53' CLOSE! The resulting corner is pulled back to Ceballos on the edge of the box, and he takes the shot on first time. There's a lot of power behind the shot, but it swerves wide.
Sergio Herrera
Penalty Save
52' PENALTY SAVED! Herrera guesses the right way as he dives down to his right to deny Benzema’s spot-kick.
K. Benzema
Penalty Miss
52' BENZEMA MISSES! The France talisman nonchalantly wanders up to the spot-kick and drills towards the bottom-left corner, where Herrera parries away.
51' PENALTY FOR MADRID! Rodrygo cuts inside and Avila slides to tackle but stops the ball with his trailing arm; the referee does not hesitate as he points to the spot!
50' Budimir attempts to turn creator but his effort to cross is poor and races towards Courtois, who collects with ease.
49' SAVE! Avila whips in another cross from the right flank and Budimir loops a header towards the top-left corner, where Courtois scrambles across to and makes a fantastic save.
48' Madrid are unbeaten in their last 45 LaLiga matches when leading at half-time (W42, D3) dating back to 17th February 2019 against Girona (L1-2).
47' Carvajal's first involvement sees him bring down Avila in the far corner, and Osasuna win a free-kick at the start of the final 45 minutes.
46' The referee gets the second half under way!
Carvajal
D. Alaba
46' Alaba, who seemed to pull up with an injury before half-time, makes way for Carvajal at the break.
Manu Sánchez
Rubén García
46' Sanchez replaces Ruben Garcia at half-time in Osasuna's first change of the game.
Ancelotti will be satisfied his league leaders are ahead but will be concerned with their first-half showing. Their mistakes have again been their undoing, appearing lackadaisical in possession, and he will demand Madrid iron out those concentration lapses in the second half.
Osasuna dominated large parts of the first-half opening, but found themselves down to a strike from Alaba before Budimiar immediately restored parity. Madrid then secured their 2-1 half-time advantage when Asensio tapped home in the 45th minute to edge the visitors ahead again.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: OSASUNA 1-2 REAL MADRID
Asensio
Goal
45' GOOOOOOOALLLL! 2-1 MADRID! The visitors restore their lead through Asensio’s ninth league goal of the season. Camavinga dinks over the top for Ceballos, who sees his shot saved by Herrera but Asensio is there to tap-in on the rebound.
D. Brašanac
Yellow Card
44' Brasanac flies into a tackle in the middle of the park, catching Benzema late, and joins Camavinga in the referee's book.
43' Ceballos sees space open up in front of him but his low strike takes a few deflections on its way through to Herrera, who again saves with ease.
42' Nacho drives up the left flank but his attacking promise comes to an end as he offloads backwards. Madrid are working the ball patiently as they methodically search to carve an opening.
40' SAVE! Alaba wanders forward and drives a right-footed attempt towards the top-left corner, where Herrera moves across to parry and then collect the loose ball.
39' After watching Valverde wastefully fire over, Asensio follows suit and his effort provides a similar result as it sails well wide of the target.
38' Osasuna have lost eight of their last 13 games played on a Wednesday in LaLiga (W4 D1) while Real Madrid have not lost any of their last 12 played on that day in the competition (W9 D3) since a 1-2 defeat against Valencia in April 2019.
36' Valverde attempts an incredibly optimistic long-range strike that loops up for Herrera to collect comfortably. The Osasuna goalkeeper has had little to do thus far.
34' Rodrygo goes wandering down a corridor on the left flank and his efforts prove fruitless as he tamely crosses into the hands of Herrera. Osasuna must seize their chance while they have the first-half initiative.
33' NO GOAL! Budimir has the ball in the back of the net but the offside flag is up following Brasanac's headed offload. VAR has a quick check and confirms the goal will not stand.
31' Avila has space outside the area but opts to offload. Ruben Garcia does not follow his team-mate's thought process, though, and blasts two blocked shots into the wall of white shirts in front of him.
29' Osasuna are incensed as the referee blows for a foul against Avila on Rodrygo. The replays show the winger clearly caught his opposite man, so it appears understandable the protests of the home side fell on deaf ears.
27' A slight opening appears for Benzema but the talisman stalls in unusual fashion and the hosts' defenders race back to crowd him out. It would be hard to see that being the Frenchman's last chance, though.
26' Madrid largely seem on course for the LaLiga title, in fact, it may take a minor miracle to deny them of domestic success now. However, they will want to get the job done as early as possible with a Champions League semi-final in mind. Osasuna, though, are proving stern opposition at the minute.
24' Rodrygo needlessly strays offside from a short Nacho pass, and the assistant's flag quickly draws an end to any hope of a Madrid attack on the left-hand side.
22' Despite Osasuna seemingly racing out the blocks, Madrid have, in fact, boasted 64 per cent of possession so far. The visitors, though, are yet to make their on-the-ball dominance pay.
21' Camavinga was fortunate to escape a dismissal against Sevilla, and the midfielder is again on thin ice after an early booking at El Sadar. Ancelotti will need his France international to be careful for the time being.
19' The frantic pace of this first-half affair is yet to relent, and it is still Osasuna driving most of the proceedings. On this occasion, Branasac is unfortunate to see his low cross deflected away by Militao at the near post.
17' Osasuna have lost eight of their last 13 games played on a Wednesday in LaLiga (W4 D1) while Real Madrid have not lost any of their last 12 played on that day in the competition (W9 D3) since a 1-2 defeat against Valencia in April 2019.
15' Ancelotti's team on the touchline had barely finished celebrating before Budimir levelled things up, it is the least Osasuna deserve though after a bright start.
A. Budimir
Goal
13' GOOOOOOOALLL! 1-1 OSASUNA INSTANTLY RESPOND! Just as Madrid edge ahead, Avila goes down the other end and whips across for Budimir, who is unmarked at the back post and taps into an empty net.
D. Alaba
Goal
12' GOOOOOOOALLL! 1-0 MADRID! A lovely free-kick routine pay offs for the visitors. Asensio goes short to Ceballos, who chips to the back post where Benzema squares across. Alaba is denied by Herrera, but the save rebounds off the Austria international and ends up in the back of the net!
11' Ceballos draws a needless foul from Martinez to win a free-kick on the left. Madrid will have the chance from a set-piece here.
10' Should they avoid defeat, Madrid will register their best unbeaten away run against Osasuna in all competitions (currently W4 D3), surpassing the seven-match unbeaten streak they enjoyed between 1989 and 2000 (W3 D4).
8' SAVE! Rodrygo has time to ghost in from the left flank and reaches the edge of the area, where he drills towards the bottom-left corner. Herrera, however, is equal to the attempt and parries around the post.
6' CHANCE! Another mistake by Madrid allows Budimir space to run into the box. He twists and turns but miscues his left-footed striker well wide of the target - the warning signs are certainly there for Ancelotti's leaders.
E. Camavinga
Yellow Card
5' Camavinga becomes the first name in the book as he catches Moncayola with a late lunge when contesting for a bouncing ball in the middle.
4' Benzema dances inside and sets his sights on the far corner but his shot is crowded out by a host of Osasuna defenders, just as Ceballos' effort is moments later.
3' Camavinga wins a soft foul in midfield and the visitors set about retaining possession, but again they are caught out at the back. Fortunately, this time Miliato escapes the attentions of Vidal and Madrid get off lightly.
2' Valverde, making his 100th appearance for Madrid, gives away the ball in midfield. Avila crosses in from the right but Budimiar's tame header is easily saved by Courtois.
1' Referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea gets proceedings under way at El Sadar!
Madrid are on their best unbeaten run in LaLiga against Osasuna (13 games since January 2011 - W9 D4), keeping three consecutive clean sheets against the Navarrese side for the first time (346 minutes without conceding since Unai Garcia's goal in February 2020 at El Sadar).
Ancelotti opts for four alterations to his starting line-up against Sevilla. Nacho comes in for Carvajal at the back, while Kroos and Luka Modric - who is not in the squad - drop out for Rodrygo and Ceballos. That means Valverde will drop back into midfield, with Asensio the other replacement in the frontline.
Jagoba Arrasate switches from 4-4-2 last game to a 4-3-3 formation, making three changes. Garcia comes in up top for Lucas Torro, joining attackers Avila and Budimir. In midfield, Brasanac replaces Sanjurjo, with Martinez coming on or Sanchez.
SUBSTITUTES: Andriy Lunin, Toni Fuidias, Dani Carvajal, Toni Kroos, Vinicius Junior, Isco, Juan Latasa, Rafael Zamora.
REAL MADRID (4-3-3): Thibaut Courtois; Lucas Vazquez, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Nacho Fernandez; Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Ceballos; Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema, Rodrygo.
SUBSTITUTES: Manuel Sanchez, Unai Garcia, Roberto Torres, Iker Benito, Oier Sanjurjo, Juan Perez, Jonas Ramalho, Inigo Perez, Barbero, Kiko Barja.
OSASUNA (4-3-3): Sergio Herrera; Cote, Nacho Vidal, Aridane Hernandez, David Garcia, Nacho Vidal; Javi Martinez, Jon Moncayola, Darko Brasanac; Chimy Avila, Ante Budimir, Ruben Garcia.
Madrid stunned Sevilla last time out to come from two goals down to win 3-2. After Barcelona fell to a surprise defeat against Cadiz on Monday, Carlo Ancelotti’s side remain 15 points clear at the LaLiga summit, with the title almost in their grasp.
Osasuna have tasted victory in their last two leagues, following up a 1-0 win over Alaves with a 2-1 defeat of Valencia on the road. That leaves the hosts ninth in the league, 15 points clear of the relegation zone and 11 behind the final European qualification spot held by Real Sociedad.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the LaLiga fixture between Osasuna and Real Madrid.
