8th Finals
UEFA Europa League

That's all for now though, goodbye!
The result means that Porto move six points clear of Olympiacos in the race for the second qualification spot. Meanwhile, Marseille can no longer qualify for the knockout rounds.
Porto secure a 2-0 victory to strengthen their grip on qualification from Group C - and knock Marseille out of the competition. The hosts started brightly and largely controlled the first half as Germain and Sanson both missed openings to take the lead. However, Porto managed to open the scoring against the run of play when Sanusi smuggled in a corner and the hosts shrunk under the pressure. Porto handed them a lifeline in the second half when Grujic received a silly red card, but Marseille quickly handed back the ascendancy when Balerdi brought down Marega to earn himself a red card - and provide Porto with a penalty. Oliveira stepped up to conver the spot-kick and the away side held on for a crucial victory.
90' + 4' FULL TIME: Marseille 0-2 Porto
90' + 2' Benedetto hits the post! Marseille's hunt for a first Champions League goal this season continues in agonising fashion as Benedetto firmly heads Payet's brilliant cross onto the base of the post and away from harm!
90' + 1' Three minutes of stoppage time are added.
M. Loum
Sérgio Oliveira
90' Oliveira is replaced by Loum in midfield.
88' Marseille are still hunting for a comeback but their attempts are looking more and more laboured.
Sérgio Oliveira
Yellow Card
86' Oliveira is also booked for his part in the argument with Payet.
D. Payet
Yellow Card
85' Payet is shown a yellow card after petulantly tripping Oliveira.
84' Benedetto finds another shooting opportunity on the edge of the area, but his effort screws wide as Marseille grow more desperate.
82' Chance for Benedetto! Cuisance hits a delightful angled throughball that loops over Manafa and into the path of Benedetto, who takes a touch, before lashing a half-volley into the side netting from close range!
S. Nakajima
L. Díaz
79' Luis Diaz is replaced by Nakajima in attack.
João Mário
M. Marega
79' Joao Mario takes Marega's place moments after the striker had turned the game by winning an important penalty.
M. Taremi
J. Corona
78' Taremi comes on for Corona after a strong display from the winger.
M. Aké
F. Thauvin
78' Thauvin is also replaced for Marseille with Ake taking his place.
Y. Nagatomo
M. Sanson
77' Nagatomo comes on with Sanson departing as Marseille search for a way back in this game.
76' Sanson lets fly from distance but his shot is tame and it rolls safely into the arms of Marchesin.
74' Well, the last five minutes epitomises the entire European campaign for Marseille so far this season. After being handed a route back into the game through Grujic's red card, the hosts throw away their chance at a comeback by switching off and handing Porto a penalty - while also losing their man advantage!
Sérgio Oliveira
Penalty Goal
72' OLIVEIRA SCORES THE PENALTY! 2-0! Oliveira steps up confidently and - although Mandanda guesses correctly - he powers it into the bottom left corner beyond the goalkeeper!
70' Red card for Balerdi and Marseille! The hosts quickly lose their man advantage as Marega spins past Balerdi before going down and earning a penalty and a red card for the defender!
70' Penalty to Porto! Corona takes a clever quick throw-in to release Marega and he races past Balerdi who reaches out to tug the striker over in the box! The referee points to the spot without hesitation and there could be more trouble ahead for Balerdi who's already on a yellow card!
69' This is just the break the hosts needed! The game was slowly drifting away from them, but Grujic's strange decision and subsequent red card has offered them a lifeline!
67' Grujic is sent off! The Porto midfield bafflingly slams into a challenge with Cuisance despite having plenty of covering players around and he's rightfully shown a second yellow!
66' Marega almost makes it two! Corona hits a dangerous throughball down the line and Mandanda hesitates - allowing Marega to get to it first - but the striker attempts to lift a header over the goalkeeper and instead it limply drifts into his hands!
64' Marseille desperately need these substitutions to make an impact; Porto have looked comfortable defending in this second period and without a major change they should be able to secure all three points.
62' Brilliant clearance from Sanisu! Payet almost makes an immediate impact by shaping in a devious cross from the left that arrows towards the back post where Sanisu just about manages to stretch in front of Thauvin to prevent a tap in!
M. Cuisance
B. Kamara
59' The third substitution sees Marseille aggressively replace the defensive Kamara, with the much more attacking Cuisance.
D. Benedetto
V. Germain
59' Germain is replaced by Benedetto up top.
D. Payet
Luis Henrique
59' Marseille make a triple substitution to try and arrest the flow of this game - the first of which sees Luis Henrique make way for Payet.
M. Grujić
Yellow Card
58' Gruijic is shown a yellow card after illegally stopping Rongier's dash through midfield.
56' Marseille's attack has struggled to create any clear chances today and it's been a problem throughout the competition for the French side: they've had fewer shots on target than any other side in the Champions League this season (four), as well as being the only side yet to score in the competition this term.
F. Thauvin
Yellow Card
54' Thauvin becomes the fourth Marseille player to get a yellow card after hacking down Otavio inside the Porto half.
52' Sanusi aggressively joins the attack again before smashing a fierce shot from an angle just outside the box that ripples into the side netting.
51' Corona and Manafa play a clever one-two down the right flank but Kamara gets across to muscle the former out of play.
B. Kamara
Yellow Card
49' Marega is once again cynically tripped as he tried to initiate a counter-attack and this time it's Kamara who's shown a yellow card for it.
48' Mbemba clears a Thauvin free-kick out to Germain who attempts to fire it back at goal only to see his shot bravely charged down by Oliveira.
46' Porto get the second 45 underway.
Currently, Marseille will be heading out of the Champions League and you'd expect them to aggressively throw men forward to attack and force a comeback in the second period.
Porto snatch a 1-0 lead heading into the break against Marseille. The hosts started brightly and could have taken the lead with Germain and Sanson both squandering chances. Marseille continued to control the game without much cutting edge but they were stung late on in the half when Sanisu smuggled in a corner for the away side to secure a slender advantage at the halfway point.
45' + 3' HALF TIME: Marseille 0-1 Porto
45' + 1' Marseille win another promising free-kick but Thauvin's delivery is again headed clear by the first man.
45' Two minutes of stoppage time are added.
43' Sanusi looks incredibly confident now and he charges forward again before Luis Diaz diverts his pass straight into a Marseille defender.
41' Well, Marseille will be incredibly frustrated to concede after being completely untroubled throughout the first half. The hosts were largely in control of this one, but one lapse from a set-piece and they find themselves staring at an early exit from the Champions League.
Z. Sanusi
39' PORTO TAKE THE LEAD! 1-0! Marseille struggle to clear a corner and it eventually falls to Sanusi who lashes it at goal only for Mandanda to block it, but the ball ricochets straight back to the Porto defender and he stabs it into the bottom corner from close range!
38' Strong save from Mandanda! Sanusi runs at a hesitant defence before rifling a powerful effort from 20 yards that Mandanda expertly beats to safety!
M. Sanson
Yellow Card
36' Sanson clumsily crashes into Sarr to earn himself a yellow card.
34' Sanusi slams in a cross from the byline but it whizzes past Marega and Marseille clear.
32' Porto have struggled to find any rhythm so far; they've failed to even record a shot while managing just 41% possession.
30' Grujic brilliantly robs Rongier near the centre-circle and the breakaway initially looks promising, but he hits his pass into the heels of Corona and it ricochets back to Marseille.
L. Balerdi
Yellow Card
28' Balerdi is shown a yellow card after bringing Marega down near the halfway line.
27' Manafa bursts forward from the back for the away side and he goes all the way into the box before Balerdi and Amavi manage to crowd him out.
25' Marseille continue to probe the Porto defence with a long spell of possession, but they fail to find an opening and eventually Sakai's errant header allows Porto to rebuild with a throw-in.
23' Thauvin is presented with another opportunity to whip in a free-kick from the right-hand side, but this time Sarr authoritatively heads it clear at the first attempt.
20' Marega hounds Belardi into firing a quick pass into Gonzalez and it slips under his foot allowing Luis Diaz to run at goal before Amavi recovers to dispossess the attacker.
18' Porto make a rare foray forward down the left flank but the move breaks down as Sanusi is called offside.
16' Good save from Marchesin! Thauvin swings in a dangerous free-kick from the touchline and it's met by Germain who nods it across goal prompting Marchesin to scramble across to push it wide!
14' Marseille have started well so far; they've largely controlled the game and they've even incisively produced some openings through neat interchanges involving Germain.
12' Kamara lets fly from 25 yards but it flashes well over the bar.
10' Germain flicks a pass from Kamara into the path of Luis Henrique and for a moment it looks as though the attacker is through on goal, but the linesman calls it back for offside.
8' If Porto are to grab a crucial win today, you'd imagine Marega will be at the heart of it. The Malian striker has been involved in 10 goals in his last 11 Champions League appearances (seven goals, three assists), with the Portuguese side winning all seven games in which he’s found the net.
6' Chance for Sanson! Thauvin forces Sanusi into surrendering possession 30 yards from goal and it enables Germain to drive towards the box before slipping a pass out to Sanson who thumps it wide from just inside the box under pressure from Oliveira!
4' Otavio is down with an ankle injury, but after a brief pause for treatment, it looks as though he'll be able to continue.
2' Porto quickly push forward through Marega near the byline, but Balerdi manages to bundle him out of play with the ball trickling away for a goal kick.
1' Marseille get the first half underway.
The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!
Recent history doesn’t bode well for the French side though: Marseille have lost each of their last 12 Champions League games – in the history of the European Cup/Champions League, only Jeunesse Esch have ever lost more consecutively in the competition (16 between 1973 and 1987).
Porto, meanwhile, make one change from their last league game with Grujic coming in for Uribe in midfield.
Marseille make four changes as they from a 4-4-2 diamond into a 4-3-3 formation: Nagatomo, Gueye, Cuisance and Caleta-Car all make way with Sakai, Gonzalez, Luis Henrique and Sanson taking their place.
SUBS: Mamadou Loum, Evanilson, Felipe Anderson, Diogo Leite, Nanu, Shoya Nakajima, Mehdi Taremi, Romario Baro, Joao Mario, Fabio Vieira, Diogo Costa, Toni Martinez.
PORTO (4-4-2): Agustin Marchesin; Wilson Manafa, Chancel Mbemba, Malang Sarr, Zaidu Sanusi; Corona, Marko Grujic, Sergio Oliveira, Otavio; Moussa Marega, Luis Diaz.
SUBS: Yohann Pele, Yuto Nagatomo, Dimitri Payet, Fabio Vanni, Pape Alassane Gueye, Kevin Strootman, Michael Cuisance, Saif-Eddine Khaoui, Dario Benedetto, Duje Caleta-Car, Lucas Perrin, Marley Ake.

Porto, meanwhile, occupy the second qualifying spot in the group and they’ll be looking to consolidate their advantage over third-place Olympiacos.
Hello and welcome to live commentary of this Champions League Group C fixture between Marseille and Porto. Today is a must win game for the hosts; they’ve played three and lost three in the competition so far and will be knocked out if they get anything less than a win.
