58' ANOTHER GOOD SAVE! Lopes makes a nice save to deny Alireza Jahanbakhsh this time. It was Garcia who played the ball into the path of Jahanbakhsh, who tried to place the place under Lopes but the Lyon keeper made himself big and got a touch to the shot, which his defenders then cleared.
56' GREAT SAVE! Lopes is once again forced into action to deny Garcia from close range. The AZ man beat Diakhaby on the touchline, cut inside and fired a shot at goal, but it was straight at Lopes who made a good stop.
55' Not too many chances to note here in the second half. Lyon are now easing to victory, looking very comfortable. Whilst AZ know they need a miracle to turn this one around.
53' Both sides will now want to make sure that don't pick up an injuries to key players which could rule them out of crucial league games for their respective clubs. Lyon having already rested several key players already make look to give minutes to fringe players.

47' CHANCE AZ! Good start to the second half by the Dutch side! 41' Not long to go until half-time here at the Parc OL. Can Lyon extend their huge lead even further?
39' CHANCE AZ! A very good opportunity to score fell to Garcia, but he couldn't connect with the ball as well as he did for his earlier goal. It was terrific link-up play by Jabanbakhsh and Bel Hassani, working their way in the Lyon penalty box, the ball then fell to Garcia around 10 yards from goal but his strikes the ball well over the bar.

L. Garcia

17' Jallet unselfishly laid the ball off to Cornet in the box, to give his teammate the perfect chance to score and he made no mistake. Lyon lead 6-1 on aggregate!
M. Cornet
Goal

17' IT’S TWO-NIL! Lyon are easing to victory here tonight! It once against comes from errors down the left wing for AZ, but it was excellent play from Lyon. Christophe Jallet cut inside after being given far too much time and space, he got to the byline before squaring the ball across goal for Maxwell Cornet who fired past Krul and into the back of the net.
16' Sergi Darder and Rafael will be wanting to avoid picking up a yellow card tonight as if they do and Lyon manage to see this game out, they will miss the first leg in the next round of the competition.
14' Free-kick down the right-wing for Lyon, a good position to get the ball into the box and test this shaky AZ defence. However the set piece is a poor one as it fails to beat the first defender. AZ clear the danger.
13' This is much better from AZ, they have started to gain possession of the ball and play some nice football, but with no end product as Lyon are limiting them any space in their own half. So far so good by the French hosts.
11' Jordan Ferri is the skipper for Lyon tonight and he ventured forward and tried his luck from long range, but his effort isn't troubling Krul as it goes high over the bar.
9' A horrible start to the game by AZ, they are now down 5-1 on aggregate and surely need a miracle to turn this tie around. So far Lyon look very comfortable.
7' ALMOST ANOTHER! Lyon have made a flying start to this game here tonight! Maxwell Cornet drifts away from the AZ defenders and almost round Krul and score into an empty net. However the former Newcastle United man is quick off his line and beats Cornet to the ball.
N. Fekir
Goal
Olympique Lyonnais
4' PERFECT START! The deadlock is broken within the first five minutes! It was a very sloppy backpass Ridgeciano Haps, he was aiming for Ron Vlaar but the pass was far too slow and Nabil Fekir was able to gather the ball and he only had the keeper to beat! Excellent finish by the Lyon man to open the scoring here tonight, lofting the ball over the helpless Tim Krul.
4' There is a terrific atmosphere inside the Parc OL tonight, with the home fans sensing that this game is already wrapped up. However that is a mentality that the Lyon players cannot afford to have and they've started the game well tonight, dominating possession.
2' At home Lyon have won five of their last six matches and scored an impressive 19 goals in the process. Seven of these goals have come via Alexandre Lacazette, and he has scored at least one goal in each of Lyon’s last seven home games.

CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS...
AZ are also disappointing domestically, with a 1-1 draw at Willem II on Sunday making it just one win in their last five games and leaving them fifth in the Eredivisie. Their away from has been good this season, but they’re facing a very strong attacking side tonight and need to overcome their huge 4-1 defeat from the first leg.
However, they currently sit fourth in the Ligue 1 table with a 12-point disadvantage on PSG in third position, they are also out of both domestic cups, therefore the Europa League is the only realistic competition left for them this season.
The French side followed this up on Sunday in Ligue 1 with a 4-2 thrashing of Dijon, to make it three wins from their last four matches in all competitions. They have scored four goals in all three of these victories, which is a vast improvement on their run of four defeats in five games that preceded this spell.
Lyon are looking to finish off their Europa League tie against AZ Alkmaar, after beating their opponents 4-1 in the first leg, with Alexandre Lacazette helping his side take a commanding lead back to the Parc OL.
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Europa League clash between Olympique Lyonnais v AZ Alkmaar.
