That's all for today, goodbye!
That win moves Leicester up into third in the table, just one point off league leaders Liverpool. Their attention will now turn to the FA Cup, as they travel to Stoke City next weekend. As for Newcastle, they drop to 15th, after results yesterday went against them. They're also in action in the FA Cup next time out when they visit Arsenal.
Leicester hold on for a 2-1 victory over Newcastle. It was Maddison that opened the scoring with a great first-time effort before Tielemans doubled the Foxes' lead with a powerful long-range strike. Newcastle pulled one back in the 88th minute, with Carroll netting for the first time since his return to the club, but they couldn't find an equaliser.
90' + 3' CLOSE! Barnes pulls away from his defender and is played in on the left of the box. He drills a low shot towards the near-bottom corner but sends his effort just wide of the post.
90' + 2' Ndidi nicks it off Sean Longstaff and plays in Vardy with a throughball. He's the only one forward for Leicester though and he holds it up instead of going for goal which gives Newcastle chance to get back.
90' Schar floats a cross out to Shelvey on the left of the area and he puts a dangerous low cross into the six-yard box. None of his team-mates are there though and Leicester are able to see it out of play.
88' SAVE! Newcastle get caught on the ball and Vardy slips in Barnes after winning it back. He's one-on-one with Darlow on the left of the box and the keeper spreads himself to make the save, blocking it with his head.
86' Newcastle are moving the ball upfield quicker now as they try to find an equaliser. Schar goes long with a free-kick on the right, but he can't pick out Carroll's run to the far post.
84' Albrighton does well to hold onto the ball initially before he cuts into the box. He then goes to ground and is asking for a penalty, but the referee doesn't give it. He then handballs it in his attempt to win it back and Newcastle win a free-kick.
A. Carroll
82' CARROLL PULLS ONE BACK! The free-kick isn't dealt with by Leicester and Castagne's header falls to Carroll in space in the middle. He hits it first time, through the crowd in front of Schmeichel to nestle in the far bottom corner. 2-1!
J. Justin
Yellow Card
80' Justin catches Sean Longstaff from behind with a late challenge to pick up a yellow card.

72' Maddison spotted Albrighton in space on the right and he drilled a low cross into Tielemans on the edge of the box first time to set up the goal.
Y. Tielemans
72' TIELEMANS SCORES! He just drifts away from Shelvey to get to the edge of the box and he hits Albrighton's cross first time. It's a powerful shot that flies past Darlow and into the back of the net to double their lead. 2-0 Leicester!
71' There are big shouts from the Leicester players for a penalty as they felt the ball hit a hand when Maddison's corner was swung into the box. Clark headed it on in the middle and it bounced up towards Yedlin's arm after he took a touch, but the referee waves the claims away.
69' Maddison has been directly involved in 29 goals in the Premier League for Leicester (17 goals and 12 assists); since the start of the 2017-18 season, this is the most by any English midfielder in the competition.

48' GREAT CHANCE! Castagne lifts a great ball over the top to pick out Vardy. He's one-on-one with Darlow on the left of the box, but he fires his first-time shot into the side netting. It wouldn't have counted though as he was just offside.
46' Leicester get us back underway for the second half!
Both managers will be expecting more from their teams after the break as they struggled to create any clear-cut chances in the first half. Leicester need to get Vardy involved more, while Newcastle could benefit from making a change to give Wilson more support up top.
It's goalless at the break between Newcastle and Leicester. It's been a game of very few chances, with the only shot on target coming from Joelinton, but it was an easy save for Schmeichel. Vardy had a goal disallowed at the other end after he slotted in from a tight angle as he was offside when Maddison played him in.

34' Wilson is claiming Newcastle should have a free-kick for handball against Fofana just outside the left side of the box. He'd hit his cross straight into the defender's chest though and the referee isn't giving anything.
32' Ritchie switches play out to Yedlin on the right as he tries to open up the game a little bit more. The right-back brings it down well but then runs straight into trouble when Castagne closes him down.

18' Yedlin whips a good cross into the middle from the right but it's blocked by Evans. Leicester don't clear their lines though and it comes out to Fernandez who curls the ball to Joelinton, but his effort is straight at Schmeichel.
16' A loose touch from Fofana gifts the ball to Matty Longstaff in midfield and he has the chance to set his side on the counter. It's too slow from the hosts though and Castagne nicks it off Almiron when it's played wide.
14' It's still all Leicester as they continue to keep possession in their own half and try to play out from the back. Newcastle are closing them down higher up the field now, but are still struggling to get on the ball.
12' OFFSIDE! It's a good throughball from Maddison into Vardy as he gets between the defenders to get on the end of it. He takes it around Darlow to a tight angle on the right, but gets it in at the near post, only for the flag to go up.
11' Newcastle have lost their first league game in six of the last eight calendar years (W1 D1), including a 0-3 home defeat to Leicester in their first match of 2020.
9' Vardy is closed down quickly by Clark in the box so squares the ball back into the middle. Tielemans manages to reach it on the stretch and he tries to touch it onto Maddison, but there's too much on it and he can't keep it in.
7' Joelinton is down for Newcastle after a challenge with Tielemans for the ball and it looks like a problem with his back. After receiving treatment on it, he's quickly back to his feet and will be able to carry on.
5' Newcastle just can't get on the ball at the moment as Leicester continue to push forward. Evans goes long with his clearance and he's looking for Albrighton's run down the right, but it's over his head and out of play.
3' CHANCE! Maddison takes the ball around Sean Longstaff on the edge of the box and opens up a pocket of space for himself. He hits his shot across goal, but his effort is always curling away from goal and flies wide of the far post.
2' Leicester are keeping the ball well in the opening couple of minutes, and they're happy to keep possession in their own half at the moment as they try to draw Newcastle out of their shape.
1' Sean Longstaff gets the game underway for Newcastle!
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away.
