Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Sarri won't care too much as his side picked up their first win of the season, but there will be huge concerns for Montella over his side's discipline and decision making. At times Milan were brilliant, but there were also foolish and reckless. The Italian has a lot of work ahead of him.
What a game that was! Napoli stormed into a 2-0 lead at half time only for Milan to respond after the break to level the scores. Maurizio Sarri was sent to the stands, but his team rallied through Jose Callejon to regain the lead. Jan Kucka then got himself sent off soon followed by his team-mate Mbaye Niang, while it could have been three dismissals for the visitors had the referee not taken mercy on Alessio Romagnoli right at the death.
FULL-TIME: NAPOLI 4-2 MILAN
A. Romagnoli
Yellow Card
Milan
Romagnoli heads into the book as he attempts to claw the ball off the line after he diverted the ball towards his own net, but failed. A generous from the referee to not send him off and award the home side a penalty.
The referee brings an end to proceedings.
José Callejón
Goal
Napoli
GOAL!!! Callejon may have gotten a touch, but Romagnoli made the deciding impact sending the ball into his own net for the goal. Napoli's fourth goal epitomises the madness of this match at the Stadio San Paolo. Sarri won't care too much though.
Napoli are just taking the pace out of the game by knocking it around at the back. There's not a great deal Milan can do here.
There will be four minutes of added time.
P. Zieliński
Yellow Card
Napoli
Zielinski now heads into the book for bringing down Lapadula.
V. Chiricheș
Albiol
Napoli
Albiol is unable to continue due to a gash on his face due to his altercation with Romagnoli and Chiriches replaces him.
Milan pump the ball into the box and have claims for a penalty as Romagnoli tussles in the air with Albiol. The ball appears to strike the hand of the Napoli defender, but he also gets clattered by the elbow of his counterpart. Albiol screams at the referee to book him, but only gets cautioned himself.
RED CARD! Milan are down to nine men as Niang gets sent off. It's utter stupidity by the Frenchman as he was already on a booking and for some reason decided to grab Reina as he attempted to offload the ball. Madness from Montella's men.
Albiol
Yellow Card
Napoli
Albiol gets booked for his protest to the referee.
G. Lapadula
Suso
Milan
Lapadula comes on for the final four minutes of the contest to replace Suso.
Jorginho
Yellow Card
Napoli
Niang attempts to speed past Jorginho, but gets brought down, leading to the Napoli man heading into the book.
Calabria sends a dangerous cross into the middle for the run of Niang, but the Frenchman cannot bring the ball under control allowing Koulibaly to clear.
J. Sosa
C. Bacca
Milan
Sosa replaces Bacca for the final 10 minutes.
D. Calabria
I. Abate
Milan
Abate makes way for Calabria.
Napoli will be quite content to sit on their lead and look to hit the visitors on the counter now. Kucka's dismissal has ruined Milan's hopes of getting back into the game.
L. Insigne
D. Mertens
Napoli
Mertens has been sensational this evening and now makes way for Insigne.
J. Kucka
Red Card
Milan
SENDING OFF! Madness from Kucka as he gets sent off for two bookable offences in the space of seconds. His first was for a shove on Mertens, but his reaction to the referee's initial decision has seen him dismissed. He was furious and got right in the face of the official, leaving him with no alternative but to send the Milan man on his way.
J. Kucka
Yellow Card
Milan
Kucka gets his first booking for shoving Mertens out of the way.
José Callejón
Goal
Napoli
GOAL!! Napoli regain the lead as Callejon taps home from close range. Mertens again caused havoc in the final third cutting in from the left and firing across the face of goal. Donnarumma made a fine reaction save, but the forward reacted to the rebound first to find the net.
P. Zieliński
Allan
Napoli
Allan is withdrawn for Zielinski for the final 17 minutes.
Napoli are struggling at the back at the moment as Suso is giving them real bother. This time his corner towards the near post causes havoc as Reina comes for the ball and misses, but the cross just evades Bacca.
E. Hysaj
Yellow Card
Napoli
Hysaj goes into the book for flailing arm on Bonaventura. He may be lucky to have escaped with only a yellow for that incident.
The home side are trying to put the pressure on Milan, but their play in the final third lacks rhythm at the moment. Hamsik, Milik and Mertens are not clicking like they were in the first half.
Hamsik breaks forward to the edge of the box, but his pass to Milik falls astray allowing Romagnoli to come away with the ball.
Suso
Yellow Card
Milan
Suso heads into the book for bringing down Mertens in the Milan half.
Niang makes another threatening run to the edge of the box although instead of shooting he lays the ball into the path of Suso. The Spaniard tries to beat the challenge of Ghoulam, but the defender sends the ball out for a corner.
Mertens slams his free-kick into the wall and Milan are able to clear the danger. A wasted opportunity there for the home side.
G. Gómez
Yellow Card
Milan
Gomez heads into the book for his challenge on Callejon.
Hysaj sends a delightful ball forward for the run of Callejon and it forces Gomez into a foul on the edge of the box. A great chance for Napoli to restore their lead.
Napoli keep the pressure up and the ball just doesn't fall for Albiol at the back post as he attempts to turn. Callejon takes over and raids to the byline before sending a low ball across the face of goal, but Abate clears behind for a corner.
The home side respond by putting pressure on the Milan goal and Gomez is forced into action to steer the ball away from Mertens in the box. From the resulting corner, Jorginho sees his strike blocked by a wall of black shirts.
Napoli are stunned by Milan's comeback here. They have to regain their composure otherwise they could well fall behind, which would have been unthinkable at the break.
K. Koulibaly
Yellow Card
Napoli
Koulibaly attempted to wipe out Suso on his counter, but missed the Spaniard. However, it was noted by the referee who has punished the defender.
Suso
Goal
Milan
GOAL!!! MIlan are level through a brilliant strike from Suso. They hit the home side on the counter and the chance appeared to have gone as Niang and Bonaventura wasted efforts. However, Suso picked the ball up on the edge and drilled his left-footed strike into the top corner.
M. Niang
Yellow Card
Milan
Niang was fortunate to escape a booking in the first half, but this time he does get a yellow card for a challenge on Allan.
Maurizio Sarri has been sent from the touchline into the stands after arguing with the referee about Milan's goal. He was debating that Allan was fouled in the middle of the park by Bonaventura, but the official was adamant that no infraction had occurred.
Suso
Assist
Milan
Suso switches the play to find Niang before the forward does the rest with a neat finish.
M. Niang
Goal
Milan
GOAL!!! Milan are back in the game and this time Niang does hit the back of the net from the left inside channel. Suso found his run with an incisive pass and the Frenchman beat the challenge of Hysaj before burying his effort past Reina.
Milik tries to thread the ball through for the run of Callejon through the middle of the Milan defence, but Romagnoli reacts well to steer the ball out for a throw-in.
CHANCE!  Bonaventura brings the ball forward from the middle of the park and feeds the run of Niang in the inside left channel. However, the forward slams his strike straight into the side-netting.
Milan win an early free-kick and although Bonaventura sends a decent delivery to the back post Romagnoli cannot get enough contact on his effort to trouble Reina.
We're back underway at the Stadio San Paolo.
The players are making their way back on to the field, so we should be underway shortly.
Arkadiusz Milik's first-half brace has put Napoli in command at the break in their Serie A clash against Milan. The home side have been dominant in the final third, and Vincenzo Montella's men have struggled containing Dries Mertens, who has run the show for Napoli. The vistiors will have to do a much better job against him in the second period to have any hope of getting a positive result from this match.
HALF-TIME: NAPOLI 2-0 MILAN
The referee brings an end to the first half.
CHANCE! Merten raids into the inside channel by latching on to a long ball over the top, but this time Gomez makes the block to stop his strike from threatening the net.
There will be one minute of added time.
Abate almost allows Napoli an opportunity inside the box as he fails to clear the danger from a cross, fortunately for him his loose header falls to a black shirt rather than a light blue.
A full-blooded battle between Kucka and Callejon results in both players hitting the deck in the centre circle. Neither player was backing down from that 50/50.
Gomez sends a deep ball over the top of the Napoli defence for the run of De Sciglio, forcing Hysaj to send put the ball behind for a corner. However, Milan cannot produce a quality delivery from the resulting set-piece before an offside decision allows the home side to clear.
The Rossoneri are committing men forward to attempt to get back into the match, but they've looked out of rhythm in the final third, which is leading to a lot of frustration for Bacca.
Milan push forward in response to the goal, but Bacca fails to pick out Suso on the right flank, sending his pass out of the reach of the Spaniard.
José Callejón
Assist
Napoli
Callejon puts in a great cross from the left to pick out Milik, who provided the finish.
A. Milik
Goal
Napoli
GOAL! Milik notches his and his side's second goal of the game. The Pole rises highest from the resulting corner and guides his header into the top corner, leaving Donnarumma no chance. Napoli are in command of this match now.
SAVE! Donnarumma denies Mertens again with another brilliant save as the winger turned inside the box and fired the ball towards the top corner, but the keeper was there with a diving stop to turn it away from goal. Milik almost steered the ball home from a tight angle on the follow up, but Donnarumma was there again.
Kucka avoids the book for pulling down Mertens just inside the Milan half. The visitors are really struggling to contain the Belgian.
Space opens up for Jorginho to strike on the edge of the box from the resulting corner, but he fires his strike straight into the arms of Donnarumma.
Milik and Mertens combine in the final third to create an opportunity for the Belgian to shoot, but Montolivo comes in with a string challenge to divert his strike over the bar. The Italian had to be quick with that tackle.
SAVE! Donnarumma keeps his side in the game with a fine stop to turn Mertens' effort over the bar. The Belgian weaved his way past Abate and took the ball on to his right foot to curl a strike towards the top corner. However, the keeper denied him a goal with big right hand.
Suso surges forward to play a neat pass into the feet of Bacca. The forward gets the better of Albiol, but Ghoulam comes across to steal it away from the Milan man as he attempted to shoot.
Ghoulam finds space in the Milan area and cuts back on to his right foot, but Gomez does well to make the block and his team-mates scramble the ball clear.
Bonaventura brings down Callejon and the home side earn another chance to threaten, although the Milan midfielder avoids a booking for his challenge. Mertens stands over the ball, but he cannot carve out an opportunity from the set-piece.
Milan try to respond immediately and Abate raids down the flank and sends a cross towards the back post. Niang gets the better of Albiol in the air, but directs his header just over the bar.
A. Milik
Goal
Napoli
GOAL!!!! Napoli take the lead and Milik notches his first goal for the club. Strikes won't come much easier for the Pole as he follows in on the rebound after Mertens had hit the post with a curling effort. A good start to his Serie A career.
Napoli are growing into the game and are beginning to get the ball to their influential men Hamsik and Mertens in the final third.
Mertens attempts to raid through the middle, but the visitors get men back behind the ball to thwart the Belgian forcing him back to Hysaj.
Milan have the ball in the net, but Romagnoli is well offside as he turns Niang's half-volley past Reina. Had the forward had a better connection on his effort from the edge of the box then Napoli may well have been in trouble there.
Not much of a tempo in the game at the moment as both sides seem content to be patient in the build-up play, which could be a consequence of the amount of goals conceded by them in their respective openers.
Mertens tries to get in behind Romagnoli at the back to latch on to Hysaj's ball over the top, but the defender sticks to his task well to clear the danger.
A real let off for Napoli there as they went to sleep in defence. First to allow Niang space and time to put the cross in and then leaving Abate unmarked. Will Milan rue that miss?
CHANCE! Abate misses an absolute sitter at the back post as he sends his strike over the bar with only Reina to beat. Niang did extremely well down the left to beat his man and put a low cross into the box, but the right-back couldn't hold his composure.
Decent spell of possession for the visitors, but no penetration from them as the light blue shirts get in behind the ball to pack the central areas.
Milan clear the danger and hit the hosts on the counter, and Niang gets played into space down the left. The forward cuts back on to his right foot to shoot, but his effort gets deflected into the hands of Reina.
Kouilbaly brings the ball forward from the back and finds Ghoulam in space down the left. The left-back wins a corner for the home side to threaten.
We're underway in this Serie A clash.
A brief moment of silence is held as a mark of respect for those killed in the earthquake that hit Italy earlier this week.
The players are making their way out on to the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
Vincenzo Montella has made two changes to his team from their 3-2 win over Torino last week. They both come at the back as Mattia De Sciglio and Gustavo Gomez replace Gabriel Paletta and Luca Antonelli. Carlos Bacca leads the line for Rossoneri this evening supported by Suso and Mbaye Niang.
After his match-saving brace last week Dries Mertens gets the nod to replace Lorenzo Insigne in attack, while Arkaduisz Milik also comes into the fold in place of Manolo Gabbiadini. In the final change from the 2-2 draw with Pescara Jorginho comes into the middle of the park, with Mirko Valdifori dropping to the bench.
Milan substitutes: Gabriel, Diego Lopez, Luiz Adriano, Calabria, Vangioni, Mauri, Locatelli, Ely, Honda, Lapadula, Sosa, Antonelli.
Milan (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Abate, Gomez, Romagnoli, De Sciglio; Kucka, Montolivo, Bonaventura; Suso, Bacca, Niang.
Napoli substitutes: Rafael, Valdifiori, Zielinski, R. Insigne, Grassi, Maggio, Lasicki, Gabbiadini, Chiriches, Strinic, L.Insigne.

Following a 2-2 draw against Pescara last weekend, Napoli are searching for their first Serie A win of the season. Milan, meanwhile, will be hoping to build on the 3-2 victory over Torino that they kicked off their campaign with.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Serie A clash between Napoli and AC Milan.
