United are through to the quarter-final of the competition, but they'll have to wait until Thursday to find out who they'll face in the next round. Next up for them is West Brom on Sunday. West Ham are out of the FA Cup and their focus can now turn back to the league and their match against Sheffield United.
It took United extra-time to beat West Ham 1-0 to reach the FA Cup quarter-final. The hosts had the better chances in the game, with Fabianski denying them with two good saves in normal time, but they finally broke the deadlock in the 97th minute. West Ham didn't clear their lines and McTominay drilled in the winning goal. West Ham had a late chance through Benrahma, but his header was straight at Henderson.

Williams makes a brilliant tackle to stop the ball from getting through to Benrahma on the left and clears it to Rashford, who drives forward to take it into the corner and run down the clock for the final few seconds.
Henderson almost plays himself into trouble when it's touched back to him by Maguire. He's quicky closed down by Soucek, but he manages to dribble the ball around the midfielder before coolly clearing his lines.
A pocket of space opens up for Martial as he turns away from Dawson on the edge of the box. He sets himself for the shot, but it's a poor effort from him and a comfortable save down the middle for Fabianski.
United's passing in the final third has been letting them down in the last few minutes as they try to see out the game. Cavani has Fernandes making a run to his right and tries to pick him out, but gifts it to Rice instead.
SAVE! West Ham have finally had their first shot on target in the match after Johnson curls a great cross into the middle. Benrahma meets it, but he heads it straight at Henderson down the middle.
Odubeko, who was brought on during the second half, hasn't been able to get involved and he's being taken off for Lanzini.
It's patient play from West Ham as they try to work it forward from the back, but they're struggling to get into the final third. Fredericks eventually floats a cross to the edge of the box, but it's intercepted by Lindelof.
Shaw squares the ball to Martial and continues his run through the middle to get the return pass. There's too much on the throughball from the Frenchman though and it rolls straight into Fabianski's gloves.
United get the second half of extra-time underway!
United finally break the deadlock to lead 1-0 at half-time in extra-time. The goal was the only chance in the half for United and it came from West Ham failing to clear their lines. Rashford reacts quickest to get onto the loose ball and he touches it into McTominay's path for him to drill it first-time into the bottom corner.

HALF-TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 WEST HAM.
West Ham are keeping the ball well at the moment, but all of their possession is in front of United, who have everyone sitting back to close down the space. Dawson tries to set Benrahma off down the right, but Maguire is across to nick it off him.
McTominay has scored seven goals in his 30 appearances in all competitions this season, the same number he managed in his 84 other United matches prior to this campaign.
Benrahma is getting into some good positions in the final third as he drops off Fred to pick up the ball. He plays a good throughball forward for Soucek, but he's caught on his heels and Henderson comes off his line to collect it.
West Ham have found a new wave of energy now as they break upfield in search of a quick response. Benrahma pulls away from Shaw to curl his cross into the six-yard box and Henderson punches it away for United.
Soucek's header loops up in the box and Rashford gets to it ahead of Dawson to touch it into McTominay's path and set up the goal.
UNITED LEAD! West Ham just don't clear their lines and United react quickest to the loose ball. It's a simple touch into McTominay and he hits the shot first time, drilling it into the bottom-right corner. 1-0 United!
West Ham are sitting deeper in their own half now as United attack again and they're closing down the space well. Rashford makes a good run down the right, but he can't find a way past Cresswell.
United are pushing forward, with Shaw making a run down the left, but he's blocked off by Fredericks. His clearance goes straight to Fernandes on the halfway line, and his throughball is missed by everyone.
West Ham kick off the first half of extra-time!
Wan-Bissaka is also making way, with Williams on in his place.
There's a double change for United before the kick-off with Shaw being brought on for Telles.
Both managers will want to see a much brighter performance in extra-time as neither will want to go to a penalty shoot-out. West Ham haven't tested Henderson at all which Moyes will want to change, but they've been good at the back to shut out United and Solskjaer will want them to be more clinical.
It's goalless at the end of 90 minutes and United and West Ham are going to extra-time. United created the best chances of the game with Fabianski being forced into two good saves, one from Lindelof in the first half and a second for Rashford after the break. West Ham improved in the second half with their only chance coming in stoppage time when Dawson flicked a header on from a corner that was blocked.

Noble curls a great corner into the box and Dawson rises highest to flick it on at the near post. Soucek is running onto it at the back and Wan-Bissaka makes a good block to stop him reaching it.
United work it upfield well as Rashford switches it out to Telles, who has a lot of space down the left. He curls another cross into the box, but it's too close to Fabianski, who holds onto it.
There's a change for West Ham now as well as Benrahma is brought on for Fornals.
Third change for United now and it's Greenwood that's making way for Cavani.
It's a good switch of play from McTominay to pick out Telles' run down the left. He sets himself for a cross but has it nicked off him by Coufal before he can whips it into the box.
The corner is played into the box for United and Maguire flicks it on at the far post, only for a deflection to take it to Fred on the edge of the box. He sets himself for the volley but slices at it and sends it well wide.
Fernandes finds himself in a pocket of space on the edge of the box and he hits the shot first time when it comes to him. Rice makes another block for West Ham and it loops over the bar for a corner.
West Ham are pushing forward quickly when they do win the ball back and Rice makes a driving run through the middle. He's eventually crowded off it though and McTominay comes away with it.
Martial holds off Coufal and turns away from him to open up the space to hit a shot. Dawson is there to make another block for West Ham and the visitors have a free-kick for a foul by the forward.
United are still overplaying it when they get into the final third, but Greenwood manages to carve out a bit of space for himself before drilling a low cross into the six-yard box. Martial is looking for it, but Dawson blocks it ahead of him.

Van de Beek is also taken off, with Fernandes replacing him.

Lindelof gifts the ball to Fornals on the halfway line and West Ham break with three on two. He has Odubeko to his left and tries to square it to him, but Lindelof makes up for his mistake by making the block.
Matic lifts the ball over the top of West Ham's defenders to pick out Van de Beek's run into the left of the box. He pulls it back from the byline towards Martial, but the offside flag has gone up against him.
United are struggling to keep hold of the ball when they break into West Ham's half at the moment and they're giving it away sloppily. Fred plays it out to Telles, but his first touch sends it straight out of play.
Lindelof has stayed down after being caught on the back of the head by Soucek when they both tried to get on the end of Frederick's cross. It takes him a little while to get back to his feet, but he's going to carry on without any treatment.
The visitors are keeping the pressure on United now and Fredericks switches play out to Johnson, who has a lot of space on the left. He whips a cross into the middle, but it's straight into Henderson's gloves.
West Ham break quickly with Rice making a good run down the left to win a corner. Cresswell's cross hits the first man but United don't clear it and Greenwood does just enough to close down Rice to stop the shot in the end.
United are keeping West Ham penned back deep in their own half now, but they're in no hurry to put it into the box. Telles plays in Rashford and he cuts back instead of playing a cross first time, so the visitors have the chance to clear their lines.
Yarmolenko has been struggling after picking up that knee injury at the start of the half and he's replaced by Odubeko.
GOOD SAVE! Martial slices at his shot and it ends up curling over Dawson to Rashford, who is in space on the left of the box. He brings it down and hits the shot, but Fabianski rushes off his line to smother the effort.
Rashford picks the ball up near the halfway line and makes another driving run into the box. He has no one with him in support though and is eventually crowded off the ball by the West Ham defenders.
West Ham have made a bright start to the second half as Johnson makes another good run down the left. He plays a low cross into the box which Matic misses, but Maguire steps forward to get it ahead of Yarmolenko.
Yarmolenko drilled a low cross into the box and he's stayed down holding his knee after challenging Lindelof for it. He's gingerly getting back to his feet and he's going to get some treatment on the sidelines.
United get us back underway for the second half!
Diop also doesn't come back out for the second half due to that head injury just before half-time and Fredericks is on for him.
There's a double change for West Ham at the break as Johnson comes on for Bowen.
Solskjaer will be pleased with his side's performance so far, but they need to make a big improvement in front of goal after the break if they want to get something out of this match. As for West Ham, they struggled to get out of their half at times and Moyes will want them to get on the front foot more in the second half and create some chances.
It's goalless at the break between Manchester United and West Ham. The hosts dominated possession in the first half, but only created one real clear cut chance when Lindelof forced Fabianski into a good save from a corner. West Ham have defended really well so far, making a lot of important blocks to deny United, but haven't really created anything at the other end.

Yarmolenko whips a cross in from the left and Soucek chests it down for Fornals, who tries to hit the shot first time. He scuffs it though and it's an easy clearance for Maguire.
Matic chips the ball over the defenders to pick out Van de Beek's run and he touches it down for Martial. His shot is blocked as the offside flag goes up against the Dutchman.
West Ham are just starting to push forward a bit more now, with Bowen playing it out to Soucek who is making a run down the right. He's tracked all the way by Matic though and he can't reach it.
Lindelof spots Rashford's run through the middle and the defender plays a ball over the top for him. It's good defending by Coufal though as he stays with him the whole way and helps see it back to Fabianski.
Martial is the first back to his feet and he's slowly making his way to the side of the pitch. Diop is up a couple of seconds later and they both look like they're going to be able to carry on.
Martial cleared a corner before being caught by Diop who was running onto the ball. Both players have stayed down and are receiving treatment for their head injuries now.
It's a great run by Rashford to get into the box only to lose out to Dawson as he sets himself for a shot. Martial picks up the loose ball but can't find any space and he's forced to go backwards by Rice.
It's a quick break from West Ham as Yarmolenko wins it back in midfield and plays in Bowen through the middle. He's quickly closed down by Telles though and can't keep hold of the ball.
United are still finding a lot of space down the left as Rashford drives into the final third. He squares it to Van de Beek and Diop blocks it, but his clearance comes back to Telles, only for Dawson to get in the way of his cross.
Telles drills a low cross into the box from the left this time and he picks out Van de Beek in the middle. He flicks it towards the near bottom corner, but Rice is back to make the block and send it over the bar.
GREAT SAVE! It's a great corner from Telles as he whips the ball into the middle and picks out Lindelof. He nods it down and it takes a deflection off Dawson, but Fabianski gets across quickly to tip it onto the post.
Martial plays a one-two with Rashford on the edge of the box to get away from Rice and he hits the shot first time when he gets the return pass. Yet again though, a West Ham player is there as Noble throws himself in front of it.
West Ham are still struggling to get out of their own half as United switch play out to Rashford on the left. His first touch gifts the ball to Coufal, but he puts it straight out of play before he can break forward.
Rashford cuts inside for the left and he decides to have a shot himself despite having support in the box. He tries to curl it towards the far post, but Dawson is there to make another block for West Ham.

Aged 23 years and 101 days, Rashford tonight becomes the fourth-youngest player in Manchester United's history to make 250 appearances for the club, behind only Norman Whiteside, George Best and Ryan Giggs.
West Ham are finally able to make that change as Diop comes on for the injured Ogbonna.
West Ham are currently playing with 10 men as Ogbonna isn't able to come back on and they're on the attack. Cresswell squares it to Yarmolenko, who turns past Lindelof to get a shot away, but it's blocked by the defender.
Ogbonna just got caught on his ankle when he made the block on Martial's shot and he looks to be in a bit of pain as he receives some treatment. The stretcher is brought on, but the defender is back on his feet to limp off the pitch.
CHANCE! Telles plays a one-two with Rashford to open up space before playing a throughball in behind the defence. Martial runs onto it and hits his shot on goal but Ogbonna gets back to make an important block to deny him.
Wan-Bissaka has space to run into down the right and he whips a good cross into the box and Greenwood flicks it on in the middle to pick out Rashford. He takes too long to decide what he wants to do though and Noble dispossesses him.
West Ham are being kept penned back in their own half as United continue to close them down high up the field. The visitors are keeping the ball well, but they just can't find a way forward at the moment.
It's a good ball from Telles over the top to pick out Rashford's run ahead of him down the left and he brings it down well. He's quickly closed down by Coufal though and he can't keep it in play.
Greenwood closes Fornals down quickly to win the ball back and he drives forward into the box. He takes a heavy touch when he gets into the area though which gives Cresswell chance to clear the danger.
West Ham have a free-kick in midfield and Noble curls a good ball into the far post. He's looking for Yarmolenko, but Matic gets ahead of him and does enough to help see it out and avoid giving away a corner.

West Ham haven't won any of their last eight away FA Cup games against Premier League opponents (D3 L5), since beating Manchester City 2-1 in March 2006 en route to reaching the final.
David Moyes makes just three changes to his team after their draw with Fulham last time out. Noble, Fornals and Yarmolenko start, as does Soucek after his red card from that game was rescinded. Benrahma is named on the bench, while Jesse Lingard is ineligible to face his parent club.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes six changes to the side that drew with Everton at the weekend as he brings in Henderson, Telles, Matic, Fred, Van de Beek and Martial. Shaw, McTominay, Fernandes and Cavani drop to the bench, where new signing Diallo is also named as a substitute.

United saw off rivals Liverpool with a 3-2 win in the fourth round. They come into this game having lost just one of their last nine in all competitions (W5 D3), and did beat today's opponents 3-1 in the Premier League earlier this season. As for West Ham, they cruised past Doncaster Rovers with a 4-0 win last time out in the competition and also come into today on a good run, losing just one of their last 11 fixtures (W7 D3).
