The referee blows his whistle for the final time, and PSG are into the final of the Coupe de France for the second season in a row! In the end, they just about had enough to beat Lorient, who threw everything they had at the league champions but just couldn't find a way past Sirigu, who pulled off several excellent saves to keep his side in the game. All it took was one goal from Ibrahimovic, as from then onwards Blanc's men were comfortably able to sit back and defend diligently to keep alive their hopes of completing another domestic treble.
FULL-TIME: LORIENT 0-1 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
The allotted 93 minutes are just about up, but Lorient keep swarming forward in the hope of finding an extremely late equaliser. They break down the right wing at great speed before Moukandjo tries to beat Maxwell, but his run forward is slightly mistimed and the linesman's flag is quickly raised as a result. That must surely be that, as it looks as if PSG have managed to hold on to make it to the final for yet another season.
Lorient keep desperately piling forward and are rewarded with a corner on the right flank. It's flung into the heart of the penalty area, where even Lecomte is waiting, but no orange shirts can get near the ball. Lucas then picks up possession and tries to fly forward on a marauding run down the left wing, but just as it looks as if he's about to fire a 60-yard strike into an open night, he's dispossessed by a great sliding tackle from Rose.

Y. Jouffre
Lorient
Philippoteaux has come to replace Jouffre for the final two minutes of the game. Can Lorient find the equaliser that they so desperately crave?
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.
Moukandjo and Matuidi battle for the ball down the right wing, and it's the former who comes out on top after forcing the latter into dragging him to the ground, resulting in a free-kick in a dangerous position. The ball pinballs around the box before finding Toure near to the penalty spot, but the defender's strong headed effort is well saved by Sirigu.

PSG
PSG have made their final change of the night, and, unsurprisingly, it's a defensive one, with Van der Wiel coming on to replace Di Maria.
Great opportunity for Aurier to wrap up the victory! A determined Lorient attack breaks down and PSG immediately hit them on the counter. The Ivorian full-back flies forward on a great run before cutting into the penalty area and trying to poke a shot past Lecomte, but the effort is weak and bounces off the knee of the goalkeeper.
Lorient are throwing everything they've got at PSG, but it just doesn't seem to be working, no matter how hard they try. Orange shirts are swarming into the visitors' half of the pitch as they try to put the league champions under as much pressure as possible, but Blanc's men are dealing with it incredibly well.
W. Mesloub
Yellow Card
Lorient
Lorient try to hit PSG on a counter of their own but Di Maria does well to break it down before being clattered into by Mesloub, who receives a yellow card as a result.
What a chance for PSG to wrap up the win, but they fail to make it count! Lorient now have every available player camped inside the visitors' half of the pitch, which has left acres of space available at the back. After an attacking move breaks down, the league champions fly forward on a determined counter-attack and go two on one, with Ibrahimovic in an advanced position, but the Swedish striker is too slow on the ball and is unable to penetrate the penalty area before being dispossessed.
Excellent opportunity for Jeannot! The striker gets himself into an excellent position just inside the PSG penalty area and quickly spins before shooting, but Marquinhos does brilliantly to throw his body in front of the shot to stop it from troubling Sirigu in the middle of the goal.
B. Jeannot
F. Bellugou
Lorient
Lorient have made a late alteration, and it's an attacking one, with Bellugou making way for Jeannot.
It's now or never for Lorient, who are desperately trying to push forward as they attempt to find a way back into the game. However, they've struggled to cause many problems for PSG over the course of the second half and are now going to have to go up against a side that are now sitting deep in an attempt to hold on to their slender lead.

Goal
PSG
GOAL! PSG have taken the lead, and with only quarter of an hour left to play! The visitors break forward quickly and take advantage of the amount of Lorient players camped at the other end of the pitch. Ibrahimovic picks up the ball in plenty of space 30 yards away from goal and isn't closed down quickly enough by the defenders, allowing him to skip towards the edge of the box before firing a clever shot off the outside of his boot and into the back of the net. Will that be the goal that sends the league champions into the final?

Moukandjo tries to take on Aurier once again, this time down the left wing, but it's the PSG full-back who comes out on top by keeping the substitute pegged back and forcing him into firing a long-range pass straight into the feet of Pastore just outside of the visitors' box.
PSG break down the left wing at speed before earning themselves a corner. It fails to result in a chance on goal but they quickly win back possession before working it over to Lucas, but the Brazilian's swinging cross into the middle of the Lorient penalty area fails to pick out a teammate and can only find the safe hands of Lecomte.
What a chance for Moukandjo! The substitute breaks through the disjointed PSG back line and beats Aurier with ease before penetrating the penalty area and trying to beat Sirigu, but the Italian goalkeeper comes out on top and does wonderfully well to tip the Cameroonian forward's attempt away from danger. He really should have buried that!
PSG move the ball around quickly just outside of the Lorient penalty area before Ibrahimovic spins and finds Di Maria. The Argentine takes a quick touch before trying to fire a low shot into the bottom right-hand corner of the net, but he scuffs his strike slightly and Lecomte is able to watch it sail comfortably wide of the goal.
Lucas Moura
E. Cavani
PSG
And the second is Lucas, who takes the place of Cavani.
J. Pastore
B. Stambouli
PSG
Blanc clearly isn't happy with what he's watching, so he's decided to make a double change. The first player to come on for PSG is Pastore, who replaces Stambouli.
PSG are controlling possession inside the Lorient half of the pitch but, as has been the case for the vast majority of the evening, they're finding it difficult to break through the hosts' well-organised and compact back line. The home side now seem to be entirely set up to hit their opponents on the counter, which is causing the league champions problems as they try, and fail, to find a way towards goal.
B. Moukandjo
M. Barthelmé
Lorient
Lorient have decided to make their first substitution of the game, with Barthelme making way for Moukandjo.
Z. Ibrahimović
Yellow Card
PSG
Ibrahimovic clatters into the back of Guerreiro and sends the full-back crashing to the ground, leaving the referee with no choice but to show him a yellow card.
Vital interception by Aurier! Once again, PSG lose the ball inside the Lorient half of the pitch and are immediately forced into dealing with a great counter-attack from the hosts. Barthelme flies forward on a lovely run before trying to pick out Waris, who is completely unmarked on the edge of the penalty area, but his pass towards the striker is intercepted by Aurier at the vital moment.
Chance for Waris! A half-hearted PSG attack breaks down midway inside the Lorient half of the pitch, and the hosts immediately break away incredibly quickly. The striker twists and turns on the edge of the box before trying to beat Sirigu with a low, 20-yard shot, but it's sent straight into the hands of the Italian goalkeeper in the middle of the goa.
Lorient attempt to break forward on a quick attack down the left wing, with Barthelme once again playing an important role in the move. He charges towards the byline and looks set to swing a cross into the box, but just as he's about to he's brought crashing to the ground by a hefty, but fair, sliding tackle from Aurier. The fans aren't happy, but that was a great interception by the young defender.
Jouffre, who has found it hard to get into the game, is finally able to find himself in a pocket of space down the right wing, which allows him to curl a cross into the PSG penalty area. It's poorly hit and sent too near to Sirigu, however, and the Italian is easily able to cut out the danger as a result.
D. Ndong
Yellow Card
Lorient
And now Ndong is cautioned as well, and he also seems bemused by the decision.
B. Matuidi
Yellow Card
PSG
Matuidi is shown a yellow card for his part in the fracas, and he doesn't look particularly pleased about the referee's decision.
It's all kicking off on the pitch! Matuidi and Ndong clash whilst battling for the ball near to the halfway line, resulting in an angry exchange of words between the two. Cavani, who had previously tangled with the Gabonese midfielder, then gets involved as well, and soon a whole host of players are piling in to have their say before the referee is finally able to calm down the situation.
Stambouli and Ibrahimovic link up well in the middle of the pitch as they work their way through a sea of orange shirts. The Swedish striker then finds himself in a pocket of space just outside of the penalty area and attempts to tee up Matuidi, but his cross-field pass is poor and is easily cut out by Ndong before it can find the Frenchman.
After successfully dealing with the danger posed by Waris, PSG fly forward on a counter-attack of their own. Aurier sprints down the right wing before trying to curl a cross on to the head of Ibrahimovic, but it's poorly hit and sails straight into the hands of Lecomte on the edge of the six-yard box.
Great goalkeeping by Sirigu! PSG are awarded a free-kick in the middle of the pitch after Cavani is fouled near to the halfway line, but they quickly give away possession and allow Lorient to fly forward on a quick counter-attack. Gassama charges down the right flank before curling a dangerous cross into the middle of the penalty area, where Waris looks set to meet the ball with his head, but the Italian goalkeeper is there to tip it away from the striker with an acrobatic, one-handed save.
It's been a positive start to the second half by Lorient, who are doing well to put PSG under plenty of early pressure. They break forward on several strong attacking moves before Waris is eventually able to unleash a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but there's far too much power behind his shot and it ends up clearing the top of the crossbar by quite some distance.
And we're underway once again!
The two teams are making their way back out onto the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
It's been a lacklustre first-half performance from PSG, who have shown a few glimpses of what they're capable of but, overall, have struggled to break down a compact Lorient side. The league champions haven't been able to find any sort of rhythm in the final third of the pitch, which has severely limited their chances on goal and has made life surprisingly easy for the hosts. Towards the end of the first half, Ibrahimovic and Di Maria started to link up better when pushing forward, but they're still lacking the creativity needed to punish the hosts' back line, who have performed diligently thus far.
HALF-TIME: LORIENT 0-0 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
PSG try to push forward on one last attacking move as they aim to head into the half-time break with what would be a vital goal, but Lorient have plenty of bodies back and are easily able to keep the visitors pegged back before the referee blows his whistle to bring an end to the opening period.
Di Maria flies towards the Lorient penalty area on a great run before poking an even better pass into the path of Ibrahimovic. The Swedish striker meets it well and takes a quick touch before trying to beat Lecomte, but he's slightly off balance as he fires the ball and, as a result, his close-range effort fails to trouble the Lorient goalkeeper and ends up flying the wrong side of the near post.
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.
Poor choice by Ndong! PSG clumsily lose the ball near the halfway line, allowing Lorient to break forward quickly and take advantage of the space left available in the middle of the pitch. They fly into the visitors' half before the Gabonese midfielder decides to unleash a shot from just outside of the box, but it's the wrong decision and his poorly-hit strike sails comfortably over the top of the crossbar, much to the frustration of the home fans.
PSG are pushing forward with more speed and intent now, and it's starting to cause Lorient problems as they begin to tire. Once again, Ibrahimovic tries to break forward quickly and this time attempts to latch on to a lofted pass forward from Di Maria, but his run into the penalty area is slighlty mistimed and the linesman's flag is quickly raised as a result.
Another chance for Ibrahimovic! PSG quickly win back possession and give the ball to the striker, who immediately muscles his way into the Lorient half of the pitch. He heads towards the penalty area before trying to catch out Lecomte with a dipping shot from 30 yards out, but it ends up looping just over the crossbar after beating the goalkeeper. The league champions are getting closer to opening the scoring!
Ibrahimovic goes close! Matuidi drifts out to the left flank and receives a pass from Rabiot that he immediately swings into the middle of the Lorient penalty area. It finds the Swedish striker, who does wonderfully well to rise above Toure, but his headed effort ends up bouncing just wide of the near post and out for a goal-kick.
Stambouli charges into the Lorient half of the pitch before finding Rabiot, who takes a few quick touches before firing a low shot from 25 yards out that deflects out of play for a corner. It's curled into a dangerous area inside the box and looks set to find the head of Ibrahimovic, but Lecomte is there to comfortably deal with the danger with a strong catch under pressure.
Waris muscles his way into the right-hand side of the PSG box before unleashing a rocket of a shot that flies out of play for a corner. The set-piece quickly results in another after Aurier is forced into heading the ball out of play, but the visitors do well to deal with the danger before forcing Barthelme to concede a throw-in deep down the left wing.
Lorient lose the ball in the middle of the pitch, allowing PSG to fly forward on a quick counter-attack. Di Maria sprints towards the hosts' penalty area before curling a cross towards Ibrahimovic, but it's headed out to Cavani. The Uruguayan then unleashes an almighty strike from 20 yards out, but it's deflected away before it can find the top left-hand corner of the net.
After spending the vast majority of the last 10 minutes on the back foot, Lorient are finally able to push forward on a meaningful attack down the left wing. They move the ball around quickly and bamboozle the PSG defence before Guerreiro is clumsily clattered into by a sliding challenge from Marquinhos, but, despite the home fans' pleas for a penalty, the referee chooses not to point to the spot.
Di Maria gets himself into a good position deep down the left wing before swinging a cross into the Lorient penalty area, but it's underhit and can only find a group of orange shirts camped in the middle of the box. The ball then bounces out to Waris, who tries to break down the right flank on a quick counter-attack, but he's cynically fouled by Stambouli and is awarded a free-kick near to the halfway line.
PSG are continuing to boss possession, but their attacking moves have once again reverted to being slow and laborious. This time they try to break down the right wing through Aurier, who initially does well to push forward but ends up sending a poor pass away from its intended target and straight into the feet of Bellugou in the middle of the pitch.
The corner is finally taken and curled towards the near post, where it almost takes the Lorient defence by surprise but is just about dealt with by the hosts. PSG try to come back quickly once again but their passing is sloppy and sends the ball straight to Gassama, who then easily clears the danger from deep down the left flank.
Aurier breaks down the right wing and tries to swing a cross into the Lorient penalty area, but it's deflected off Guerreiro and out for a corner. They look to take the set-piece quickly, but before they're able to do so the referee is finally forced off to be replaced by the fourth official after failing to recover from his earlier injury.
PSG finally increase the tempo of their attack and are able to catch out Lorient down the left flank. Maxwell gets forward well and finds himself in a pocket of space just outside of the hosts' penalty area, but his cross into the box, where three white shirts were waiting, is poor and can only find Bellugou.
Play gets underway once again and PSG immediately embark on a slow attack down the right wing. However, there isn't enough speed in the move and they're easily pegged back by Lorient, who force the league champions into working the ball back into their own half of the pitch.
There's a brief break in play as the referee receives medical treatment on the touchline. It looks as if he's felt a slight tweak in his hamstring, but for now it seems as if he's going to be able to continue after having some surgical strapping wrapped around his thigh.
It just isn't working for PSG. They're finding it incredibly difficult to break their way through the sea of orange shirts camped in front of them, and it's making life surprisingly easy for the hosts. Not for the first time, a half-hearted attacking move breaks down, allowing Lorient to immediately fly forward on a quick counter-attack. Mesloub weaves his way past several white shirts before poking a pass into the penalty area and towards Waris, but just as the striker is about to make contact with the ball he's dispossessed by a vital tackle from Maxwell.
Ibrahimovic and Di Maria link up well just outside of the Lorient penalty area before the latter founds himself in a pocket of space. He tries to control the ball before spinning past both of the hosts' centre-backs, but he completely mistimes the move and ends up losing his balance before gifting possession to Rose, who then thumps the ball away from danger.
Once again, Barthelme gets himself into a great position deep down the left wing before firing a great cross towards the edge of the six-yard box. Once again it misses Waris, but this time Jouffre is there to send a pass back into the penalty area. It's poorly hit but bounces back out to the left-winger, who quickly fires a 25-yard shot that flies comfortably wide of the PSG goal.
PSG embark on a lovely attack down the left wing, with Maxwell and Di Maria linking up beautifully just outside of the Lorient box. The Brazilian full-back then tries to skip past Toure but goes down under a tackle from the centre-back, and he's immediately told to get back to his feet by the referee, who didn't see anything wrong with the Senegalese defender's methods.
Lorient break away quickly through the middle of the pitch before Barthelme picks up the ball deep down the left flank. He takes a quick touch before swinging a low cross into the heart of the penalty area, where Waris is waiting, but the ball ends up bouncing just a yard or so in front of the striker's outstretched foot.
A half-hearted PSG attack breaks down midway inside the Lorient half of the pitch, allowing Bellugou to break up the play before launching a lofted pass forward. It finds Waris just outside of the visitors' penalty area, and the striker then battles with Silva as he tries to find a way into the box. He's unable to do so, however, and ends up running the ball out of play before he can send a pass over to a teammate.
Unsurprisingly, PSG are bossing possession as they patiently work the ball around inside their own half of the pitch, but so far they have failed to do much with it. Lorient look very well organised and are finding it easy to keep the visitors at bay whenever they attempt to push forward.
Barthelme embarks on a great run down the left wing before looking to swing a cross into the PSG box, but he's quickly put under pressure by Aurier and has to settle for a corner. It's taken quickly but fails to catch the visitors by surprise, as they easily deal with the danger before breaking forward on a blisteringly quick counter-attack. Ibrahimovic charges through the middle of the pitch and into the Lorient half, but Toure is there to dispossess the Swedish striker with a vital tackle.
After a patient start to the game from both sides, a lofted pass forward from Rabiot finds Matuidi on the edge of the Lorient penalty area. He's the only PSG player in an advanced position and tries to flick the ball round Rose, but there's too much power behind his first-time touch and it sends the ball bouncing into the hands of Lecomte.
And we're off! PSG get us underway, attacking from right to left.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
Meanwhile, PSG boss Laurent Blanc has also decided to make four alterations to the side that thrashed Caen on Saturday, with Gregory van der Wiel, Presnel Kimpembe, Layvin Kurzawa and Lucas Moura making way for Serge Aurier, Thiago Silva, Maxwell and Adrien Rabiot.
Sylvain Ripoll has decided to make four changes to the Lorient side that started the 1-1 draw at home to Toulouse on the weekend, with Francois Bellugou, Yann Jouffre, Walid Mesloub and Abdul Majeed Waris coming into the starting line-up to replace Romain Philippoteaux, Rafidine Abdullah, Benjamin Jeannot and Benjamin Moukandjo, respectively.
Paris Saint-Germain substitutes: Douchez, Kimpembe, Kurzawa, Van der Wiel, Pastore, Lucas, Ongenda.
Paris Saint-Germain XI (4-3-3): Sirigu; Aurier, Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell; Rabiot, Stambouli, Matuidi; Di Maria, Ibrahimovic, Cavani.
Lorient substitutes: Chaigneau, Musavu-King, Moukandjo, Abdullah, Philippoteaux, Jeannot, Paye.
Lorient XI: Lecomte; Gassama, Rose, Toure, Guerreiro; Bellugou; Jouffre, Ndong, Mesloub, Barthelme; Waris.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Despite coming into today’s game as clear underdogs, Lorient will nonetheless be quietly confident about their chances of pulling off an upset tonight due to their impressive record in front of goal. Tonight’s hosts, who currently sit in 11th place in the Ligue 1 table, have scored 46 goals in the league this season, a record surpassed only by the top four and seventh-place Rennes. They also boast in their ranks the Coupe de France’s current top goalscorer, Benjamin Jeannot, who has so far scored five goals in the competition. However, at the other end of the pitch they have proven to be porous, to say the least. The 52 goals they have conceded is better than only Bordeaux and already-relegated Troyes, and they head into this evening’s tough contest with just one win from their last six games, with one of those clashes ending in a 5-1 thumping at the hands of Angers. Tonight’s game presents Les Merlus with the chance to reach their first cup final since they won the competition in 2002, so, despite suffering what has been a largely underwhelming season, Sylvain Ripoll’s men are set to come out all guns blazing as they aim to join Manchester City in knocking PSG out of another tournament that they are determined to add to their collection.
For a fourth season in a row, PSG were forced to exit the Champions League at the quarter-final stage after suffering a disappointing and lacklustre 1-0 defeat away to Manchester City seven days ago. As a result, their attention must now turn back to France, where they are still in with a chance of picking up a second consecutive treble, a feat never before achieved by a French team. The Ligue 1 has already been wrapped up in record speed and they face Lille in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue on Saturday evening, but before that they must take on Lorient in tonight’s Coupe de France semi-final clash. Laurent Blanc’s men prepared for this evening’s game in fine fashion by comfortably thrashing Caen 6-0 on the weekend, and they will be confident about their chances of making it to the final of the competition for the fourth time in six years. Lorient have consistently struggled against the Parisians, resulting in them losing all of their last seven meetings against the league champions. In fact, they have only managed to beat the club from the capital twice in the last eight years, a record that doesn’t bode well for their chances tonight.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Coupe de France semi-final game between Lorient and Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade du Moustoir.
