Relegation Play-off

That’s all for now. Until next time, goodbye!
That shock win lifts Lorient into 18th place, level with Nantes and four points behind Saint Etienne, while PSG have missed the chance to go top, handing Lille the opportunity to move three points clear of them should they beat Dijon.
It’s all over! What a brilliant performance from Lorient who have snatched a deserved win over the defending champions – their first against PSG since 2011! Moffi is the hero, with his last-gasp strike sealing the win after Wissa had drawn the hosts level following Neymar’s second penalty of the match.
90' + 4' FULL TIME: LORIENT 3-2 PSG.
90' + 3' PSG launch forward from the kick-off but Lorient hold firm, and Pochettino is heading for his first defeat.
L. Abergel
90' + 1' Abergel has put in a superb performance and follows up his opener with an assist for what could well be the winner!
T. Moffi
90' + 1' GOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!! HAS MOFFI WON IT!? PSG get caught high upfield and a long ball from the brilliant Abergel sets Moffi away. He races clear from a desperate defender and keeps his cool to slot beyond Rico and surely seal a remarkable, yet well-earned, won for Lorient!
L. Abergel
Yellow Card
90' Abergel prevents a counter and goes into the book.
90' CHANCE! What an opportunity for Gravillon! He scored the late winner against Dijon and after going close with the free-kick and really should have put Lorient ahead. Chalobah’s cross deflected high into the air and looped down into the six-yard box, but the defender completely missed his header.
89' SO CLOSE! Lorient thought they had snatched it! Gravillon went for goal with a low effort, and the ball skidded up at pace off the turf. It beat Rico, but a slight deflection off the wall took it inches wide.
88' Neymar drops deep to get on the ball but Lorient skipper Abergel steals in to win possession back. He releases Moffi, and Wissa then gets on the ball to draw a foul 25 yards out. Will there be one, last, dramatic twist?
86' OVER! Oh that’s a huge chance for Mbappe! The ball fell to him around 10 yards out but he had to lash his effort over a crowd of players and just got too much on it.
84' Neymar delivers in an inviting cross, but Pereira can’t get his head on it. There’s a goalmouth scramble, but Lorient clear their lines, and then manage to defend the resulting corner.
82' Well there is quite a story developing here and if 19th-placed Lorient can hold on, or perhaps snatch a shock win, it will be a huge boost to Lille and Lyon in the title race. PSG, though, do have a free-kick in a dangerous position...
Pablo Sarabia
Á. Di María
81' Di Maria, who has been disappointing, has also gone off. Sarabia is on in his place.
I. Gueye
L. Paredes
81' Pochettino responds with a double change. First, Paredes goes off, with Gueye coming on to add some bite to PSG’s midfield.
Y. Wissa
80' GOOOOAALLLL! LORIENT ARE LEVEL! It seemed as though PSG would just have enough to get over the line but now they have been pegged back. It’s the substitutes who combine for Lorient as Wissa exchanges passes with Moffi and, after getting lucky with a heavy touch, slams in from point-blank range. It’s 2-2!
P. Hamel
E. Le Fée
78' A final substitution for the home side, with Le Fee replaced by Hamel.
L. Paredes
Yellow Card
75' A booking for Paredes, who brought down Wissa.
73' Pochettino has made an average of two changes to his starting XI from one game to another in Ligue 1 this season, much fewer than his predecessor Thomas Tuchel (five per game). He has also not made a change in this game just yet, perhaps wanting to ensure that PSG have this wrapped up before he alters his XI.
F. Lemoine
Yellow Card
71' Lemoine has become the third Lorient player to receive a yellow card.
71' WHAT A STOP! Neymar whips in a brilliant delivery from the left, which Icardi dives to meet. His header was heading in, but Dreyer reacts instinctively to make a fantastic save.
69' Di Maria wriggles clear of his marker and curls in a cross. It is aimed for Icardi, but the former Inter captain can’t get to it.
67' For the first time, Mbappe finds himself with space and time down the left on the edge of Lorient’s area, and gets in a cross, but it is steered clear. PSG keep up the pressure, but Mbappe sees his shot from 18 yards out blocked.
63' PSG have certainly stepped up their measure of control since the restart, with that second penalty clearly helping. Still, the visitors’ attackers are not exactly in full flow, to Lorient’s credit.
Y. Wissa
A. Laurienté
61' The other change sees Wissa replace Lauriente.
T. Moffi
A. Grbić
61' Grbic is also off, with Moffi on in his place.
J. Delaplace
H. Mendes
60' Lorient respond to going behind by making three changes. One of those alterations is Mendes, who makes way for Delaplace.
Penalty Goal
58' NEYMAR SCORES! Well, that was pretty much a carbon copy of the first one! Dreyer again takes a slight step to his left as Neymar runs up, and the Brazilian simply guides a finish to the other side of the centre of the goal. It’s nine goals this season now for Neymar and it’s 2-1 to PSG.
56' PSG PENALTY! Well, there is no doubt this time as Lorient concede their second spot-kick of the match, and it’s the unfortunate Mendes who is involved again! Chalobah hesitated when going for a loose ball and Mendes swung out a leg, unaware that Icardi was nipping in ahead of him. Neymar steps up once more…
55' No penalty! After checking the monitor, the referee – rightly – sticks by his initial decision.
54' VAR! The referee will go and check the screen. The replays suggest Neymar prodded the ball into Mendes’ thigh, and the ball bounced up and hit the defender’s arm. It would be incredibly harsh if a penalty was awarded.
52' Penalty shout for PSG! Neymar prods it up into a defender in the area and appeals for handball, but the referee is having none of it.
50' Di Maria drifts inside from the right flank and looks to float in a cross towards the six-yard box. It is cut out by a defender, though, with Mbappe having been lingering with intent.
48' Lorient defender Morel is playing against PSG in Ligue 1 for the 24th time (W7 D4 L12), making them the opponent he has faced the most in his top-flight career.
46' KICK-OFF! Back up and running for the second half.
T. Chalobah
T. Monconduit
46' No changes for PSG at the break, but there is one for Lorient, with Chalobah replacing Monconduit, who was booked in the first half.
Pochettino is sure to demand a much-improved display from his side after the restart, but Lorient will know they can get at PSG’s defence, which has looked shaky. However, you would back the champions’ quality to come good in the end.
It’s half-time and the scores are level. PSG were incredibly slow to get going and were punished when Abergel thumped beyond Rico after a defensive mix-up, but Neymar’s penalty made it 1-1 on the stroke of the interval.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: LORIENT 1-1 PSG.
45' + 1' That is a real blow for Lorient, who deserve to be heading into the break with a lead.
Penalty Goal
45' GOAL! NEYMAR MAKES NO MISTAKE! After his trademark run up, the 28-year-old sends a crisp, low finish down the middle of the goal, with Dreyer wrong-footed. It’s 1-1!
43' PENALTY! PSG get their break! Well, out of nothing, the champions have their route back into the game, with Neymar having been scythed down by Mendes in the box. The Brazilian will take the spot-kick himself…
40' PSG really have been poor in this first half, and Pochettino looks justifiably displeased. Can they create an opening before half-time?
39' That was nearly embarrassing for Rico! He received a back pass but got his touch all wrong, though fortunately he was stood wide of his goal and it went out for a corner.
L. Abergel
36' GOOOOAAAAALLLL!!! LORIENT TAKE THE LEAD! Well, you can’t say it hasn’t been coming, but that opener has come in brilliant fashion from Lorient, who deservedly go ahead. Kimpembe and Pereira put themselves all sorts of trouble on the edge of PSG’s box and Abergel is on hand to steal the ball and, on the slide, screw a finish beyond Rico and into the top-left corner. It’s 1-0 Lorient!
35' Lorient have won two of their last four home Ligue 1 games (L2), after winning just one of their previous eight (D3 L4). They have performed excellently so far and restricted PSG to very little in the way of chances.
32' Di Maria is back on his feet and the game is back underway.
31' PSG were angry that the Lorient attack was allowed to continue, as Di Maria had gone down injured, and he is now receiving treatment.
30' SAVE! Another audacious attempt from Grbic and it very nearly pays off. From 25 yards out, the Lorient forward let rip and Rico had to be alert to dive to his right and keep out the dipping effort, with Lauriente then slicing well off target on the rebound.
T. Monconduit
Yellow Card
28' Lorient are not afraid to mix it when needed, and Monconduit has just received a yellow card for a cynical tackle on Neymar.
26' Lorient’s compact shape is making it extremely difficult for PSG to play through the lines into their front four, who are all struggling to find space. Indeed, Icardi has had just one touch, and that was in his own half.
24' Not too far off! PSG clear the resulting corner but only as far as Mendes, who does not hesitate in unleashing a first-time effort which skims just wide.
22' Ambitious from Grbic! He capitalises on space left by Kurzawa, who has looked rather shaky so far, and tries to get the better of Rico from long range. It takes a deflection and loops just over.
21' Lorient are certainly not playing like a side struggling at the bottom of the table. That win over Dijon seems to have given them plenty of confidence.
18' Lorient have lost each of their last six Ligue 1 home games against PSG, their longest run of home defeats against any top-flight in their history.
16' Pereira has PSG’s second attempt of the game, but his left footed strike soars well over the bar.
14' Neymar cries out as he is felled by Gravillon, but the Brazil star has been reduced to dropping back into PSG’s half to receive possession so far.
E. Le Fée
Yellow Card
12' Le Fee goes into the book now, for a late tackle on Paredes.
11' Pochettino will not be best pleased by his team’s start here, they have been rather sloppy in possession – as summed up by a slack pass from Paredes in midfield – and the front four have been unable to get involved.
9' Another half-chance for Lauriente, who is causing PSG’s defence plenty of problems. He takes on a shot from the left side of the area, but it sails wide of the opposite corner.
6' Lorient have certainly started brightly, and Lauriente tries to make the most of space in behind PSG’s line as he races onto a long ball. The striker gets off his shot, but fires it into the side netting.
4' PSG have won their last 10 Ligue 1 games against Lorient, after having won only one of their previous seven (D4 L2) against them in the top-flight.
Danilo Pereira
Yellow Card
2' A very early booking for Pereira, who lunged in from behind on Lorient captain Abergel.
1' Good start! No time wasted for Lorient, as they immediately look to get off on the front foot. They work a decent move from left to right, with Lauriente trying his luck from distance, but Rico watches it over the bar.
1' KICK-OFF! We are up and running in this Ligue 1 encounter!
We are almost ready for kick-off in Brittany, with the teams out on the pitch. Lorient are in their orange and black home strip, with PSG wearing their red, white and blue away colours.
PSG thrashed Montpellier 4-0 in their last match, though Pochettino has made several changes, with Keylor Navas, Marquinhos, Abdou Diallo and Marco Verratti dropping out. However, a high-quality front four of Icardi, Di Maria, Neymar and Mbappe remains in tact.
PSG SUBSTITUTES: Rafinha, Moise Kean, Pablo Sarabia, Julian Draxler, Mitchel Bakker, Idrissa Gueye, Alexandre Letellier, Timothee Pembele, Colin Dagba.
PSG (4-2-3-1): Sergio Rico; Alessandro Florenzi, Thilo Keher, Presnel Kimpembe, Layvin Kurzawa; Leandro Paredes, Danilo Pereira; Angel Di Maria, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe; Mauro Icardi.
Wholesale changes for Lorient, with coach Christophe Pelissier going with a defensive 3-5-2 shape. Monconduit, Morel, Gravillon and goalkeeper Dreyer are the only players to keep their place.
LORIENT SUBSTITUES: Loris Mouyokolo, Yoane Wissa, Trevoh Chalobah, Teddy Bartouche, Jonathan Delaplace, Terem Moffi, Fabien Lemoine, Pierr-Yves Hamel, Yoann Etienne.
LORIENT (3-5-2): Matthieu Dreyer; Andreaw Gravillon, Julien Laporte, Jeremy Morel; Jerome Hergault, Enzo Le Fee, Thomas Moconduit, Laurent Abergel, Houboulang Mendes; Armand Lauriente, Adrian Grbic.
Mauricio Pochettino has not lost a game since taking charge of PSG, with his team having won their last four games in all competitions. Struggling Lorient, meanwhile, ended a five-match winless streak by overcoming Dijon 3-2 last time out.
PSG are embroiled in a three-way tussle at the top of Ligue 1, and a win today would take the champions above Lyon and into first place.
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 clash with Lorient!
