UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League

Liverpool round off a wonderful campaign with a dominant display against a Brighton side that never looked like competing once the Reds took the lead. Solanke fired in at the near post to add to Salah and Lovren's first half goals, before Robertson added gloss to the scoreline by powering in the loose ball from inside the box, after Dunk's clearance fell to his feet. Tottenham's victory over Leicester means Liverpool finish the season in fourth, but it has been a very impressive campaign nonetheless.
90' + 1' Liverpool work the ball around patiently as they continue to probe for more goals. It has been an impressive and dominant performance by the Reds. A display more than worthy of a top-four finish.
90' The fourth official has indicated two minutes of additional time.
88' Liverpool are nearly in again but this time Duffy gets ahead of Ings and shields the ball back to his goalkeeper.
A. Robertson
85' GOAL! Dunk intercepts a dangerous corner from the left but he can only clear it as far as Robertson, who rifles a low effort straight into the back of the net. Dunk tried his best to get his head to the ball but the shot had far too much power. Liverpool are cruising.
D. Ings
Roberto Firmino
84' Firmino is replaced by Ings is Liverpool's final change of the game.
B. Woodburn
Mohamed Salah
84' Applause rings around Anfield as Salah is replaced by Woodburn.
82' Harry Kane has restored Tottenham's lead against Leicester, so Liverpool will finish fourth if it stays that way. They certainly look in no danger of relinquishing the lead themselves, Brighton have not threatened at all.
81' STAT: This is the first Premier League campaign to see two players score 30 goals (Salah and Kane) since 1993-94 (Andy Cole 34, Alan Shearer 31).
79' Brighton try to get forward down the right wing but Bong's cross is deflected straight into the welcoming arms of Karius. The Seagulls are enjoying a little more time in the final third in this half but they have done very little with it.
77' The corner causes a little chaos inside the box but Propper does well to bring the ball wide and clear the danger. There are just over 10 minutes to go and as things stand Liverpool will still finish third, as Spurs and Leicester are currently level.
76' Liverpool are almost playing at walking pace now. A long ball over the top is then cleared out for a corner by Dunk.
A. Lallana
S. Mané
74' Liverpool make their first change as Mane comes off to a warm round of applause from the home fans. Lallans is on to replace him.
C. Goldson
S. Duffy
71' Brighton are forced into their third and final change of the day, as Duffy is replaced by Goldson due to injury.
69' Murray does well to keep a Brighton attack alive but Liverpool force them back. Gross then tries to find Murray at the back post but his cross is easily cleared away by van Dijk.
66' There has been a noticeable drop in tempo since Liverpool's third goal. The Reds are moving the ball around the midfield with ease being afforded plenty of time to try and find their forwards. The Seagulls are pressing a bit higher but they are not really causing any problems for Klopp's side.
63' CHANCE! Henderson's beautifully weighted through ball finds Salah inside the box but the Egyptian winger loses his balance just as he shapes himself to shoot. Ryan looked like he might have had that covered in truth but Brighton are really struggling to cope with the pace of the Liverpool forwards at the moment.
62' STAT: Salah is the first Liverpool player to record double figures for both goals and assists in a Premier League season since both Luis Suarez (31 & 12) and Steven Gerrard (13 & 13) in 2013-14.
58' CHANCE! Salah's pass from the right evades defenders and finds Firmino inside the box. The Brazilian can only fire his shot high and central though, with Ryan saving with ease. Poor again from a Brighton point of view though. They have been sloppy at the back at times in this game.
G. Murray
J. Locadia
57' Locadia, who has had a very quiet afternoon, is replaced by Glenn Murray for the first of a Brighton double change.
P. Groß
B. Kayal
57' Kayal is replaced by Gross as Brighton look to find a way back into the game.
D. Solanke
53' GOAL! Liverpool catch Brighton on the counter attack as Salah skips over a weak sliding challenge and finds Solanke inside the right of the box. It is a tight angle but the Reds youngster does brilliantly to fire the ball into the top corner. Brilliant goal and that is surely game over now.
Mohamed Salah
53' Salah finds Solanke in the box, with the Englishman firing in Liverpool's third of the afternoon from a tight angle.
50' SHOT! Brighton make a mess of clearing the corner and Mane's shot from range deflects off a Liverpool player and into the path of van Dijk. The defender swings his foot at it but he can only direct his shot straight at Ryan.
49' SHOT! A simple pass through the middle finds Firmino behind the midfield line on the edge of the box. He has a little bit of space to shoot and fires low towards the bottom-left corner, but it is parried out for a corner by Ryan. Good save.
48' Liverpool pass the ball around patiently and try to draw the Brighton players out, but they are not biting.
46' Brighton get the game back underway and immediate high pressure from Liverpool's forwards force the visitors to fire the ball out for a throw.
The two sides are making their way onto the pitch, ahead of the start of the second half.
Liverpool lead at the break and deservedly so. They have been the better side throughout but were made to work hard as Brighton denied them any space in the final third for large periods. Salah fired in his 32nd Premier League goal of the season after latching onto Solanke's neat pass and slotting the ball in at the near post. Solanke then had the chance to double Liverpool's lead but his curling shot was cleared off the line. Lovren then took advantage of a lapse in concentration by Brighton late in the half to power a header in at the back post. Brighton were limited to half chances from range in their rare attacks but in truth, it has been a very one sided affair.
45' The fourth official has indicated one minute of additional time.
43' Liverpool are well on top now and look like they are going to score everytime they come forward. The only consolation for Brighton at the moment is that half time is only a couple of minutes away.
A. Robertson
40' Robertson's deep cross finds Lovren, who doubles Liverpool's lead with a powerful header.
D. Lovren
40' GOAL! Brighton deal with the initial corner but they switch off with the follow up, as Lovren rises high, unhindered, to meet Robertson's cross and power a header in at the near post.
39' CHANCE! Liverpool finally use the wings and it is far, far too easy for Mane. He bursts past some weak marking and makes his way to the byline, virtually unchallenged. He tries to find Solanke at the front post but it is cleared away for a corner.
38' Brighton are beginning to see more of the ball now but it means that cracks are beginning to appear in their defence. As things stand, with Tottenham trailing Leicester, Liverpool will finish the season in third and secure Champions League football.
37' SHOT! March has the ball on the edge of the box and tries to find the bottom-right with a curling shot, but it is too close to Karius. Easy save in the end.
36' CHANCE! Liverpool carve open Brighton once more but this time Mane and Firmino get in each others way, with the latter rifling his shot high over the crossbar.
35' CHANCE! Mane releases Wijnaldum into space inside the box, but his first-time low effort is too close to Ryan, who can save with relative ease.
35' STAT: Salah has scored against 17 different Premier League opponents this season; no player has ever scored against more in a single campaign in the competition.
33' SHOT! A Brighton defender misreads the flight of the ball and Mane can get on the end of it. He turns inside and tries to shoot but it is well blocked by Duffy.
33' March fires in the second corner from the left this time but it is easily cleared at the front post. Brighton retain possession though.
32' Brighton have a rare attack and win a corner. It is swung in deep from the right but it is cleared away for a second corner by the Liverpool defence.
30' CHANCE! A pinpoint throughball by Henderson finds Mane inside the box, one on one with the goalkeeper. He opts to slide the ball sideways for Solanke to score but Ryan reads his intentions well, delaying the shot long enough for Duffy to get back and clear Solanke's effort off the line. Excellent defending.
29' STAT: Salah has now scored 32 Premier League goals this season, more than any player in a 38-game campaign in the competition.
Mohamed Salah
26' GOAL! The free kick is easily dealt with but Liverpool come straight back at the Brighton defence. Solanke's neat pass rolls into space for Salah, who makes no mistake in firing his first-time low shot into the bottom right corner and beyond the reach of Ryan. Liverpool deservedly lead.
24' Liverpool get a free kick on the left of the box after Schelotto is adjudged to have fouled Mane. A good crossing position for the set piece.
22' Liverpool continue to dominate possession but Brighton are defending well here. They are keeping compact and denying the Reds any space inside the box. The gaps remain on the wings though but Liverpool are not making use of them at the moment.
20' CHANCE! Liverpool ramp up the pressure and Wijnaldum wins the ball just outside the box. His deep cross finds Mane near the back post, but it is a little too high for him and he can only glance his header wide.
19' CHANCE! Brighton are finally stretched and Mane gets in behind on the right. He is one on one with the goalkeeper but he cannot find a way beyond Ryan from a tight angle. Great goalkeeping.
18' Wonderful stuff from Liverpool as some excellent one-touch football gives Salah a bit of space inside the box. His first touch is not the best though, and Dunk can intercept.
15' Poor from Brighton. They finally get a spell of possession and Bong tries to release Locadia down the left wing, but the two players have different ideas and Bong's pass rolls harmlessly back to the Liverpool defence.
13' Liverpool patiently probe as they search for an opening. Alexander-Arnold is providing plenty of width on the right and stretching the Brighton defence, but Liverpool are trying to play through the middle instead.
10' All Liverpool at the moment and they are getting plenty of bodies forward. This is the Liverpool people have become used to seeing this season. Brighton are doing all they can just to clear their lines at the moment. Great start by Klopp's men.
8' CHANCE! A horrendously miskicked pass by Dunk falls straight into the path of Solanke. The Liverpool forward tries to turn the ball around Ryan but the Brighton goalkeeper reads it well and claims the ball. The Reds are beginning to turn up the heat now.
6' SHOT! Firmino has the ball outside the box with support on the left wing but he opts to go alone, but his low shot is charged down by Dunk.
4' Henderson finds Alexander-Arnold in space down the right wing, who breaks away from his marker and fires in a low cross. Too close to Ryan in the Brighton goal though, who collects comfortably. The spaces are there for Liverpool though.
2' Mane heavily involved straight away here. He makes an excellent run at one end of the pitch, winning his side a corner which is eventually dealt with by the Brighton defence. He then gets stuck in defensively, chasing Knockaert to the byline and seeing the ball out of play for a goal kick.
1' Liverpool get the game underway, playing in red. Brighton are in white and blue.
Incredible atmosphere inside Anfield as a chorus of "You'll Never Walk Alone" rings around the stadium. The fans are more than up for this today.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
Brighton make four changes to the side that lost 3-1 to Manchester City during the week. Bruno drops to the bench, with Schelotto taking his place at right-back. Gross is replaced in midfield by Kayal, while Jose Izquierdo and Ulloa are replaced by March and Locadia.
Liverpool make two changes to the side that lost 1-0 to Chelsea last weekend. Solanke will lead the line for the Reds, with Firmino playing just behind him. James Milner is replaced by Henderson in midfield, while Clyne drops to the bench, with Alexander-Arnold lining up at right-back.

There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
STAT: Brighton’s last win at Anfield in any competition was in an FA Cup tie in February 1983 (2-1), losing twice and drawing once since then.
The stats do not make positive reading for Brighton however, as they are the joint-lowest scorers in away games this season, alongside West Brom, with 10 goals. Albion are also on a 12-game away winless run in the Premier League, last winning on the road against Swansea in November.
Brighton’s victory over Manchester United at the start of the month guaranteed their Premier League status for another season, so it is job done for Chris Hughton’s men. There is still plenty to play for though, as the Seagulls could finish as high as tenth with victory and with other results going in their favour.
STAT: If Liverpool avoid defeat, it will be the seventh time they’ve remained unbeaten at home across an entire top-flight campaign – more than any other side have done so.
Jurgen Klopp’s side sit two points ahead of fifth-place Chelsea but their vastly superior goal difference means they will be guaranteed to finish fourth if they avoid defeat at Brighton this afternoon. Mohammed Salah was named Premier League’s Player of the Season today, adding to his PFA Player of the Year and Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year awards, and could wrap up his incredible season by also breaking the record for most goals in a 38-game Premier League season if he scores today.
Liverpool may have a Champions League final against Real Madrid to enjoy at the end of the month but they still have work to do if they are to secure a top-four finish this season. The Reds have failed to win any of their last three games, losing two and drawing one, since they beat Roma 5-2 in their semi-final first-leg. Their recent downturn in form, coupled with Chelsea’s late resurgence, means Liverpool could miss out on Champions League qualification after looking safe for so long.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage of today’s Premier League game between Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield.
