UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League

That's all from this sublime Brighton win. Thanks for joining us and, until next time, goodbye!
Liverpool welcome City on Sunday seven points off the pace having played a game more. Guardiola's side will back themselves to inflict a third straight home defeat on the Reds. Brighton, now 10 points clear of the bottom three, go to Burnley on Saturday.
A huge result at both ends of the table! Brighton claim a thoroughly deserved win at Anfield, which is a fortress no more. After 68 home league games without defeat, Liverpool have lost to Burnley and Brighton in consecutive matches on Merseyside. Alzate's scruffy goal settled it, but Brighton posed the greater threat throughout.
90' + 5' FULL-TIME: Liverpool 0-1 Brighton
90' + 3' Great goalkeeping! Sanchez has been uncertain at times but races off his line to claim Alexander-Arnold's corner. Respite for the visitors!
90' + 3' Oxlade-Chamberlain wins a corner on the right with 90 seconds to play...
90' + 2' Liverpool cannot get out of their own half, let alone breach Brighton's box! The visitors have been brilliant.
90' + 1' There will be a minimum of four minutes of added time.
90' Liverpool have not lost consecutive home league games since September 2012 (against Arsenal and Manchester United).
89' CLOSE! Bissouma drives over! He has team-mates to pass to as Brighton again work an opening, instead choosing to shoot from 30 yards but unable to keep the ball down.
88' Oh dear. Robertson brings down Henderson's long ball superbly, but Origi then intervenes and takes control in the area, first failing to return the ball to Robertson and then aiming an awful ball behind for a goal kick.
A. Zeqiri
L. Trossard
87' Trossard, who earned an unorthodox assist, is replaced by Zeqiri for the closing stages.
86' Gross wastes the chance to tee up another Brighton attack! Trossard is in the clear on the left, but Lallana looks right to Gross, whose cross is cut out too easily by Henderson.
85' It is still Brighton on the attack, with Liverpool struggling to get out. Alzate crosses deep towards Burn, who is unsurprisingly up highest but aims a tame header straight at Kelleher.
A. Connolly
N. Maupay
83' Brighton change the identity of their outlet, with Maupay off for Connolly, who will aim to keep Liverpool on their toes at the back.
81' SAVE! Kelleher bails Liverpool out once more! Maupay and Trossard lead a Brighton break, and the latter could finish it! He stands up a pair of Liverpool defenders in the box, shimmying this way and that before finally working room for a shot on his left. A powerful drive is blocked by the legs of the goalkeeper and bounces clear of Maupay.
80' It is all hands to the pump at the back for Brighton, but they clear time and again, even when Sanchez comes for a routine cross and sends an awful punch backwards towards his own goal.
C. Jones
Roberto Firmino
79' A tame shot wide is Firmino's last involvement as Liverpool trade their number nine for Jones, a midfielder, in a bid to find an equaliser.
78' Firmino trades passes with Alexander-Arnold on the edge of the box but then sends his shot well wide.
77' Salah very optimistically appeals for a penalty! His blast strikes Bissouma on the shoulder from just a couple of yards away. A second shot deflects up into the hands of Sanchez.
76' Burn looks to be in from Maupay's pass and draws a save from Kelleher, but the offside flag then goes up.
75' Brighton's turn for a nervy moment with their goalkeeper far from his goal! Liverpool counter from the latest Brighton corner and Sanchez rushes out but is beaten to the ball. Brighton have enough defenders back to get the ball away.
74' SAVE! Kelleher comes to Liverpool's rescue! And then Henderson does, too! Dunk has a header blocked from a deep corner, but Brighton keep the ball and centre again for Gross to see a low shot parried by Kelleher. White is waiting for the rebound, but Henderson recovers to crucially intervene.
74' Brighton are still flying forward! Burn races up the left and drills in a cross, which Liverpool can only knock behind as Trossard waits in the middle.
71' All a little shaky from Liverpool in defence! Kelleher heads clear following White's long ball, but Thiago then foolishly keeps the ball in play to renew the Brighton attack. Phillips just beats Maupay to the ball in the area to relieve pressure.
70' CHANCE! A big Liverpool opportunity! They finally work some space in the final third and Alexander-Arnold drives the ball back from out on the right. It lands on the toe of Salah, but his first-time finish flies just off target. Sanchez would be helpless from there.
68' Liverpool finally take the free-kick legally but Alexander-Arnold only succeeds in picking out the head of a Brighton defender. Phillips then fouls Dunk as the ball is lofted back into the area, meaning Firmino's subsequent attempt, a low shot saved by Sanchez, is struck off.
A. Lallana
S. March
67' There is a delay in play for an extended period of medical attention for March, who cannot then walk off unaided. Lallana comes on for his Anfield return.
65' Bissouma fouls Alexander-Arnold on the edge of the box and the Liverpool right-back attempts to take a quick free-kick, catching Brighton out again. The referee is not impressed, though, calling play back as he has his back to the action.
A. Oxlade-Chamberlain
G. Wijnaldum
64' Wijnaldum is also off, allowing Oxlade-Chamberlain to boost the midfield with his energy.
D. Origi
X. Shaqiri
64' Shaqiri has struggled to have an impact either through the centre or from the right and now makes way for Origi.
62' Superb defending! Bissouma fouls Milner 30 yards from goal and Liverpool come up with a really smart free-kick, as Thiago, stood next to the ball, lifts a gorgeous pass over the wall towards Firmino. Webster dashes back to recover, however, and clears bravely.
60' Liverpool are growing frustrated. Brighton are on top and yet are taking their time, unsurprisingly. There is movement on the Liverpool bench.
59' Brighton are pushing for a second now, winning a corner on the right. The first shot on target of the match - if it can be called that - led to the goal, but Webster cannot aim a second effort towards goal, nodding over.
L. Trossard
56' Trossard earns surely the strangest assist of his career, the ball bouncing off Alzate, against his team-mate and back against the midfielder and in. Neither man knows a great deal about it.
S. Alzate
56' GOOAAALLLL!!! ALZATE! Brighton lead at Anfield! 1-0! Burn stretches to reach a deep cross at the far post, nodding back across the face of goal. Phillips stretches to clear and can only knock the ball against Alzate, with the ball pinballing into the net as two Brighton players close in. Big goal!
53' CLOSE! Better from Liverpool, moving the ball with greater urgency on the edge of the Brighton box. Shaqiri tees up Firmino, whose low shot takes a nick off Bissouma and spins narrowly wide. The corner is cleared, though.
51' Brighton have lost all of their seven prior away league games against reigning top-flight champions, scoring just twice and conceding 19 goals in these games.
49' Brighton again get men forward when given the chance. Bissouma miscues a shot, which Burn cannot quite reach, before the same visiting midfielder lifts a delicate pass just beyond Trossard in the box.
48' Great defending! Brighton give the ball away in their own half, allowing Liverpool a rare opportunity to stretch their legs, but the visiting defenders stand firm. Dunk stretches to reach Robertson's cutback and then blocks Firmino's follow-up. Burn finally turns the ball clear.
46' KICK-OFF: Liverpool get us back under way!
Liverpool had just two shots in the first half, the fewest they have managed in the opening 45 minutes of a league game this season.
Liverpool have rediscovered their scoring touch away from home, but they continue to lack ideas at Anfield. Their best chance was squandered three minutes in by Salah, with Brighton holding their own thereafter.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: Liverpool 0-0 Brighton
45' + 1' Wasteful from Maupay! Gross sends in a first-time cross and Maupay, seemingly just onside, gets up in front of Firmino but heads over. Half a chance.
45' + 1' There will be a minimum of one minute of added time at the end of this first half.
G. Wijnaldum
Yellow Card
45' The first card is shown to Wijnaldum as his loose touch allows Maupay to nip in, prompting the Liverpool midfielder to step on his opponent's foot.
44' Liverpool have not failed to score in three consecutive home league games since October 1984 under Joe Fagan. The only reigning Premier League champions to fail to score in three home league games in a row were Manchester United in their final three home games of 2001-02.
43' Both teams are guilty of really slack passes! Bissouma marches forward but then fails to pick out March with a poor ball, allowing Liverpool to counter. Firmino has Robertson available on the overlap and only finds a blue shirt.
41' This sequence of set-pieces is doing little for Liverpool. Salah teases a corner from Alzate, but they again go short and Alexander-Arnold's deflected cross reaches Sanchez. Alzate is momentarily struggling following an apparent blow to his face.
40' Confusion! There are two balls on the pitch and Brighton focus on the wrong one! Liverpool win a corner, the visitors' appeals ignored, but Alexander-Arnold's delivery is dealt with.
37' Henderson carries the ball out of defence and looks to find Firmino's run in behind, but a Brighton defender intervenes at the expense of a corner. Brighton have a clear height advantage from set-pieces and so Liverpool go short, with Thiago's belated cross passing straight through the box.
34' Just over! Brighton get the ball forward in open play and have five or six players up in attack. But March goes alone and, from a tricky angle on the right, sends a tame shot over the top.
32' While Brighton stand off Liverpool in their own half, the Reds are eager to confront the visitors. That is leading to fouls, however, and the latest free-kick from Gross finds White, but he loops a header over the top.
31' After a long, laboured passing move, struggling to pick a hole in the Brighton back line, Thiago steps forward and space opens up. Shaqiri knocks a pass square for Salah to shoot, yet recovering Brighton defenders leap to the defence of their goal and block.
28' Brighton are closing down the spaces in their own half really well. Liverpool have not had a shot since Salah's third-minute miss.
26' Brighton are looking to keep four consecutive league clean sheets for the very first time in the top flight. They last did so at any league level in November 2016 in the Championship.
24' OVER! Brighton's first chance of note is squandered by a combination of Maupay and Burn! A sharp pass in behind sets Maupay away and he smartly feints away from Henderson onto his left foot inside the area. Maupay is not happy with the opening, though, delaying his shot until a defender recovers to block. The ball lands at the foot of Burn, who should hit the target from close range but skews over.
22' Shaqiri wins another free-kick on the Liverpool left at the end of a patient move, but Robertson's set-piece is nodded away.
19' Bissouma fouls Shaqiri, but Liverpool's free-kick is easily cleared and Thiago's attempt to return the ball to the box is also picked off.
18' Liverpool briefly appear to have the chance to break, with Robertson racing away in space down the left as Salah looks up with the ball at his feet. For some reason, the forward opts against that obvious pass, though, and soon cedes possession.
16' The offside flag goes up against Gross, who does look to be just the wrong side of the defensive line, but Phillips has to be alert before that call to smash a low centre clear at the near post.
14' Shaqiri cannot react! A cross from the right drops just over Milner's head inside the Brighton box and falls for Shaqiri, yet he is not ready for the ball and it bounces off him from a good position.
12' Brighton are pressing high up the pitch, meaning they have options when they do win the ball. They have not yet been able to pick a way through Liverpool, though.
10' Liverpool are camped on the edge of the Brighton box until Milner threads a pass through to Firmino in the box. Sanchez rushes from his line but is beaten to the ball, only for Firmino, seemingly distracted by the goalkeeper, to miscontrol.
8' Liverpool have not won three in a row in the Premier League since September when a run of five straight victories came to an end.
6' Brighton are also going to get players forward. March has a crossing opportunity from the right but sends the ball straight into Kelleher's arms with plenty of options in the box.
5' This is a bright start from Liverpool. although there is a brief stoppage for Milner, who goes down holding his leg. The veteran midfielder is fit to continue without receiving treatment, however.
3' CHANCE! Salah should do better! A glorious pass from Henderson finds the winger in behind and onside. His first touch is smart enough, but the subsequent hurried finish comfortably clears the crossbar. An early escape for Brighton.
2' Brighton face a big ask today. Liverpool are unbeaten in 12 meetings with the Seagulls in all competitions, a run that stretches back to January 1984.
1' KICK-OFF: Visitors Brighton get us up and running!
Alisson was ruled out with illness today, so Kelleher starts in goal. That is one of only two changes from the win at West Ham as Firmino returns but Sadio Mane remains out. Despite signing two defenders on deadline day, Henderson is again asked to fill in. Davies is on the bench.

Brighton (3-5-2): Robert Sanchez; Ben White, Lewis Dunk, Adam Webster; Solly March, Pascal Gross, Yves Bissouma, Steven Alzate, Dan Burn; Neal Maupay, Leandro Trossard.

Let's get the team news from Anfield...
Liverpool face Manchester City next, at home on Sunday, and Pep Guardiola's side have just restored their three-point lead at the top of the Premier League. A 2-0 win at Burnley takes City seven points clear of fourth-placed Liverpool having played the same number of games ahead of this match.
But Brighton also won at the weekend, dealing Spurs a swift second blow. And the Seagulls held Liverpool in the reverse fixture as a 93rd-minute penalty denied the Reds on the south coast.
Reigning champions Liverpool are looking for a third straight victory in the top flight after responding in style to a five-match winless stretch by beating Tottenham and West Ham away from home last week.
