That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
This victory moves Man City up to second, just one point behind Manchester United in the table and they face Southampton next time out. Meanwhile Leicester drop to ninth and they face Brighton next weekend. Both teams feature in Europe in midweek, with Man City welcoming RB Leipzig in the Champions League and Leicester facing Napoli in the Europa League.
Manchester City make it three wins on the bounce with a 1-0 victory over Leicester, thanks to a second-half strike from Bernardo Silva. Despite numerous chances for both teams, there was only one goal at the King Power Stadium and it was scored by Bernardo Silva after Cancelo's strike was blocked and he converted the rebound from close range. Iheanacho and Lookman went close for Leicester late on, but Ederson was alert to make the saves and deny them.
90' + 2' Decent chance! Another opportunity for Man City late on, but this time Grealish is denied by Schmeichel from close range.
90' + 1' CLOSE! Sterling and Fernandinho play a quick one-two and the latter sneaks into the box and fires a low shot towards the bottom left corner of the net, but it sneaks just wide of the post.
90' There will be a minimum of three minutes added time played at the end of the second half.
89' Leicester just need to be careful that they don't get caught out on the counter if they start pushing a few more players forward in search of an equaliser.
87' Can Leicester carve out an opportunity late on to equalise? Man City are sitting deep and soaking up the pressure now, but they look fairly comfortable.
85' BLOCKED! Dias makes a mistake on the edge of the box and this allows Lookman to fire a shot at goal, but the centre-back reacts quickly and gets back to make an excellent block to turn it behind for a corner.
Gabriel Jesus
Manchester City
84' Man City make another substitution now, with Jesus the man coming off and he has been replaced by Fernandinho.
83' Not too far away! Iheanacho gets ahead of his marker at the far post and powers a header into the ground, but it flies wide of the left post.
82' There isn't as much attacking intent by Man City at the moment, they look happy to just see out the win at 1-0, with Leicester trying to build the pressure.
80' ALMOST! Iheanacho latches onto the end of a long ball over the top, takes a touch and tries to round Ederson, but the keeper is quick off his line and dives at his feet, making the save. The striker has been lively since coming on.
78' Sterling does well to sneak behind the Leicester defence as a cross comes in from the left wing, but his touch is too heavy and his effort sails high over the crossbar.
76' CHANCE! Leicester break quickly with Iheanacho sneaking in behind and then skipping past Walker, before laying the ball off to Lookman, who only had Ederson to beat. However, the keeper is quick off his line and makes an excellent save to deny Leicester an equaliser.

72' SAVE! Walker didn't have much on in front of him, so the right-back opted to fire a shot at goal, but it's too close to Schmeichel, who gets up well and tips it over the crossbar. Not too far away.
70' There is still plenty of time left to play here for Leicester to get back into the game, but they don't look like scoring at the moment as the visitors look very comfortable.
68' Man City lost their last away league game of 2020-21 and their first away game this season, having lost just one of their previous 20 on the road in the Premier League (W16 D3). They’ve not lost both of their first two away games in a single Premier League campaign since 2006-07.
66' It's all gone very quiet at the King Power Stadium since the Man City goal, with Leicester struggling to get going again. They've looked dangerous in behind, if they can try and find the likes of Vardy and Barnes in space.
R. Sterling
Ferran Torres
Manchester City
64' Man City make their first substitution following the goal, with Torres coming off and he has been replaced by Sterling.
Bernardo Silva

J. Evans
J. Vestergaard
Leicester City
61' Leicester make their first change of the game and it's a straight swap at centre-back, with Vestergaard heading off and on comes Evans.
60' It will be interesting to see how long both managers leave it before making any changes to their sides, it looks like we need some fresh legs on to try and get the game going again.
58' Grealish hasn't seen as much of the ball as he would've liked in this second half, with Man City unable to get the ball forward as much and the Leicester defence are playing well at the back.
56' Over the bar! Rodri whips a deep cross into the box looking for Gundogan, who gets up well and powers a header towards goal, but it doesn't trouble Schmeichel and flies over the bar.
55' This is a bit better from Man City, they've managed to calm things down and are enjoying some possession of their own in midfield now.
53' Man City have won their last two away league games against Leicester, last winning more consecutive away against the Foxes between 1934 and 1954 (5 in a row).
51' Leicester have started the second half really well, putting more pressure on the visitors and they have looked more dangerous in the opening few minutes.
49' GOAL RULED OUT! Vardy thought he had fired Leicester into the lead but the offside flag has gone up! Man City lost possession in midfield and Ndidi capitalised, playing a quick ball through the visitors defence towards Vardy, who races onto the end of it, rounds Ederson and fires it into the back of the net. However, he made his run slightly too early and is correctly ruled offside.
47' CHANCE! Leicester counter quickly as Castagne flicks the ball past Laporte and sets Vardy on his way down the wing and the striker then picks out Barnes with an excellent cross into the box. However, the winger can't keep his header down as he powers it towards goal. Very close!
46' The second half is under way!
Man City will be confident of getting a goal in the second half if they can keep up the pressure on the Leicester defence. Meanwhile Leicester need to try and get the ball up the other end of the pitch if they are to test Ederson.
It’s goalless at the break between Leicester and Manchester City, but the visitors have gone close on a few occasions and have looked the more dangerous side, with Schmeichel called into action on a few occasions. Jesus, Bernardo Silva and Grealish have all gone close, but they just couldn't find the breakthrough, with Leicester defending well in numbers. The hosts did have a chance of their own early on, but Ederson was on hand to deny Barnes from close range, before Walker blocked the follow-up effort from Ndidi.
45' There will be a minimum of two minutes added time played at the end of the first half.
43' SAVE! Another good stop by Schmeichel, after Grealish chips the ball into the box from the left byline and Jesus meets it at the far post, who chests it down and then drills an effort towards the bottom right corner of the net. However, Schmeichel makes a good save with his feet.
42' BLOCKED! Dias goes up a header at the far post as a deep cross comes into the box, but he doesn't make good contact with it and the rebound falls to Torres, who sees his shot blocked from close range. It then comes to Gundogan, but his effort is also superbly blocked by Tielemans.
40' There isn’t long left to play before the end of the first half, can either side break the deadlock before the half-time whistle?
Aymeric Laporte
Yellow Card
Manchester City
38' Laporte is booked after he clatters into the back of Vardy just inside the Leicester half of the pitch.
36' Leicester seem quite happy to let Man City keep the ball in the middle of the pitch, as they aren't doing much with it at the moment. The Champions just need to increase the tempo once again.

30' PENALTY SHOUT! A deep free-kick is whipped into the box and Vestergaard tries to meet it at the back post, but he gets crowded out by the Man City defence and then goes down. A few Leicester players appeal for a spot-kick, but there wasn't anything in that and the referee waves away their appeals.
28' Decent effort! Grealish cuts in from the right wing and finds Torres in the box, who turns and fires the ball towards goal, but Schmeichel is equal to it and makes the stop.
Yellow Card
Manchester City
26' The first yellow card of the game is shown to Rodri, after he loses control of the ball and catches Tielemans late as he tries to win it back. It now looks like the Leicester midfielder may have an issue.
25' Jesus looks lively down the right wing once again for Man City, a position he has excelled in over the last couple of games, with Torres occupying the central role.
23' Leicester look dangerous on the break, with Vardy causing Laporte and Dias a few problems with his pace, but they just haven't been able to find him enough so far today.
21' CHANCE! Man City catch Leicester out with a clever free-kick, with Gundogan finding Grealish on the edge of the box, rather than whipping it into the penalty area. However, Grealish can't keep his shot down and it flies over the crossbar. Really good move by the visitors.
20' Decent effort! Grealish attempts a cheeky lob towards the top left corner of the net, which almost catches Schmeichel out, as it takes a deflection and flies just wide.
19' CLOSE! Tielemans loses the ball in his own half and Bernardo Silva picks it up and runs at goal, firing an effort towards the top left corner of the net from the edge of the box. However, it takes a slight deflection and flies just wide of the post. Not too far away!
17' Leicester are having to get everyone back behind the ball to soak up the pressure, with Man City trying to turn the screw in the final third. However, the Leicester defence look fairly comfortable right now.
15' The game has settled down now after a frantic few minutes in front of both goals. However, Man City are the team on top at the moment.
13' Leicester have won three of their last five Premier League home games against reigning champions (L2), beating Liverpool 3-1 last season.
11' Decent chance! Vestergaard rises highest at a corner and powers a header towards goal, but he gets slightly too much on it and the ball flies over the crossbar.
9' It looks like Ederson has a problem now following the collision and he is going to have to receive some treatment for a head injury. There is some blood on his shirt, so a new top is on it's way. However, he should be fine to continue.
7' CLOSE! This time it's Leicester with the opportunity! Vardy gets in behind Laporte down the right wing and delivers a low cross into the box for Barnes, but Ederson gets there in the nick of time and makes the block, but gets clattered in the process. Maddison then picks up the rebound and lays it back to Ndidi, but his shot is superbly blocked by Walker.
6' CHANCE! Bernardo Silva does brilliantly down the left to skip past Soyuncu and get a cross into the box, which is met by Jesus at the back post. The striker powers a header towards goal, but Schmeichel makes a great save to deny him. The ball then bounces dangerously around the box, with Bernardo Silva having another attempt blocked, before Leicester eventually clear the danger.
5' It's a huge boost for City to have Ederson able to play today, as their number two keeper Zach Steffen recently tested positive for COVID on international duty. Therefore Carson would've been drafted in to start.
3' Bright start here by the visitors, pressing forward in the opening few minutes and Grealish wins a corner, but they take it short and Leicester manage to push them back.
1' We're under way!
The teams are out on the pitch and kick-off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all the match action!
