Relegation Play-off

That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
Bayern stay six points ahead of Dortmund in second position in the table, ahead of their game against Hertha Berlin next weekend. Meanwhile Cologne drop to eighth and they face VfL Bochum next time out in the league.
A Lewandowski hat-trick sees Bayern return to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Cologne and maintain their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table. They led 2-0 at the break, thanks to goals from Lewandowski and Tolisso, before Lewandowski showed his quality once again with two more in the second half to wrap up the win. Cologne went close to scoring as Hubers struck the crossbar with his header, but ultimately they just couldn’t find a way past Neuer.
89' There are a few tired players out there on the pitch now for the hosts and they'll just be hoping for the full-time whistle to blow soon.
87' Bayern are just comfortably seeing the game out at the moment, keeping it well in midfield, but not really pushing forward in an attempt to score another.
85' Bayern have won each of their last eight Bundesliga games against Cologne and are unbeaten against them in their last 15 league games (W14 D1).
P. Wanner
Marc Roca
83' The other change sees Marc Roca replaced by Wanner.
M. Tillman
T. Müller
83' Final couple of changes for Bayern now, with Muller the first to come off and he has been replaced by Tillman.
82' We're into the final 10 minutes now here, will we see any more goals? Bayern look pretty content with their four at the moment.
K. Ehizibue
B. Schmitz
80' Here comes another change by the hosts, with Schmitz the man coming off the pitch and he has been replaced by Ehizibue.
79' The home supporters are still in fine voice despite the scoreline here, getting behind their team and urging them to get forward in search of a consolation goal.
77' Lewandowski has been ruthless in front of goal today, with the striker producing a fine performance and he'll go home with the match ball.
O. Richards
M. Sabitzer
75' Sabitzer also makes way for Richards.
T. Nianzou
C. Tolisso
75' Bayern make a double change now, with Tolisso coming off and he has been replaced by Nianzou.
L. Sané
74' A good performance so far from Sane off the bench, two assists in 14 minutes and both for Lewandowski. The winger did well to send the ball through to his team-mate on the edge of the penalty area, who produced a fine finish.
R. Lewandowski
74' GOAL! Lewandowski has his hat-trick and Bayern lead 4-0! Sane does brilliantly on the edge of the box, twisting and turning away from a couple of defenders, before flicking the ball through to Lewandowski, who coolly slides it past the keeper.
K. Schindler
M. Uth
73' Another double substitution by Colgone, with Uth coming off and he has been replaced by Schindler.
S. Andersson
A. Modeste
72' The other change by the hosts sees Modeste come off the pitch and he has been replaced by Andersson.
72' OFF THE BAR! A corner is whipped into the box from the left wing and Hubers rises above his marker and powers a header towards goal, which has Neuer beaten, but it strikes the crossbar! So unlucky!
71' This is much better from the hosts, they are forcing Bayern to sit deep and defend at the moment, putting their opponents under a lot more pressure at the back.
69' CHANCE! Lubicic fires a powerful effort towards the Bayern goal, but Neuer gets across and makes an excellent diving save. However, Kainz picks it up and whips a cross into the box, which is met by the head of Modeste, who fires his header just inches over the crossbar. Very close!
66' Cologne have five wins, three draws, and one loss this season in nine Bundesliga contests at home. Meanwhile Bayern boast a fine away record with six wins, one draw, and just one loss in league matches on their travels.
64' The third Bayern goal should wrap up the win for the visitors, which would see them return to winning ways and hold a six-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga table.
L. Sané
62' Sane had plenty of time and space to look up and spot the run of Lewandowski in behind and he perfectly fired it through for his team-mate, who made no mistakes with the finish.
R. Lewandowski
62' GOAL! Lewandowski grabs his second goal of the game and fires Bayern 3-0 ahead! Cologne lose the ball on the halfway line and Bayern press forward quickly, with Sane turning and firing a pass through to Lewandowski in behind the hosts' defence. The striker then only had the keeper to beat and he showed great composure to slot it into the back of the net.
61' CLOSE! Uth powers a header towards the top left corner of the net, after a cross from the right byline, but he gets too much on it and his effort flies inches wide of the post.
L. Sané
J. Musiala
60' Bayern have now made their first change, with Musiala slowing walking off the pitch and he has been replaced by Sane.
D. Ljubičić
O. Duda
58' Duda is the other man to be replaced, with Ljubicic heading onto the pitch.
J. Thielmann
L. Schaub
57' Double substitution here by Cologne, with the first seeing Schaub come off and he has been replaced by Thielmann.
56' Free-kick to Cologne in a dangerous position after Tolisso dives into a challenge with Schmitz around 25 yards out. Good shooting opportunity here.
54' OFF THE POST! Bayern work it well down the right and the ball falls to Musiala deep inside the penalty area, he turns quickly and goes for goal from a tight angle, however, his effort strikes the woodwork from close range. So close!
53' Cologne are yet to get going in this second half so far, they are struggling to keep the ball and Bayern look the better side and could extend their lead soon.
51' SAVE! Lewandowski almost makes it 3-1! Muller chips a lovely ball over the top of the Cologne defence and the striker races onto the end of it, gets into the box and only has Schwabe to beat. However, the keeper makes himself as big as possible and pulls off a superb save with his legs to deny him.
49' In their last six league matches, Cologne have won four, drawn one and lost one. Bayern, meanwhile, have won five and lost one in their last six.
47' Not too far away! Cologne whip a free-kick into the penalty area from the right wing and Hector tries to glance it into the bottom left corner of the net. However, he gets too much on it and it flies wide of the post.
46' The second half is under way!
An early goal for Cologne in the second half could see them get something out of the game, as they've shown that they can beat the Bayern defence. Meanwhile Bayern will feel that a third goal could wrap up the three points.
Bayern hold the advantage at the break as goals from Lewandowski and Tolisso see them lead 2-0. However, Cologne have almost pulled one back, but Uth's strike was ruled out by VAR for offside, before Duda went close right at the end of the half, dragging his effort wide. There hasn't been too many chances for either side, but Bayern have been ruthless in front of goal when they have been in the final third.
45' + 1' CHANCE! Great opportunity for Cologne just before the break! A deep cross came into the box from the left, which Neuer managed to push away, but only to Kainz at the far post, who flicked it back to Duda and he tried to find the bottom left corner with his effort. However, he just drags it wide of the post.
45' There will be a minimum of two minutes added time played at the end of the first half.
44' It looks like Bayern will hold onto their 2-0 lead with the break fast approaching, setting them up very nicely for the second half.
42' There isn’t long left to play before the end of the first half, can Cologne pull one back before the half-time whistle? Or, will Bayern extend their lead further?
40' CHANCE! Lewandowski is allowed far too much time and space on the edge of the penalty area and he drills a low strike towards the bottom left corner of the net. However, Schwabe reads it well and gets down quickly to make an excellent save, pushing the ball around the post.
38' Bayern currently have everyone apart from Lewandowski back in their own half behind the ball, as Cologne keep the ball well in their opponents half. However, they are struggling to create anything in the final third.
36' Lewandowski has scored 20+ goals in his seventh Bundesliga season in a row - only Gerd Muller (10 from 1968 to 1978) managed that in more consecutive seasons in the top flight. Against Cologne, he has now scored in his last seven matches in the Bundesliga, only against Schalke (11) and Wolfsburg (8) has he managed this more often in a row.
34' The disallowed goal for the hosts is a warning to Bayern, they need to pick up their game again and be wary of the threats that Cologne can cause.
32' NO GOAL! The Cologne goal has been ruled out for offside, as Uth had just strayed into an offside position. Unlucky for Cologne, as that was a lovely counter and finish from the striker.
31' VAR CHECK! The officials are taking a look at the Cologne goal as it looks like Uth may have been in an offside position when the ball was played through to him. This one is probably going to be ruled out.
31' COLOGNE GOAL? Uth seems to make it 2-1! Neuer played a poor pass out from the back and handed possession back to the hosts, who then counter quickly up the pitch, with the ball being slid through to Uth, who flicked it past a Bayern defender and then slotted it into the bottom right corner of the net.
29' We’re almost at the half an hour mark now and it's Bayern who lead 2-0 over Cologne, thanks to goals from Lewandowski and Tolisso.
27' Bayern look dangerous on the counter every time they get the ball in the middle of the pitch, as the hosts have given it away far too easily at times.
T. Müller
25' That's two assists now for Muller, this time he controls a pass from Tolisso, before quickly flicking it back to him on the edge of the box, who produces a wonderful finish.
C. Tolisso
25' GOAL! BAYERN DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! Bayern once again counter quickly and catch Cologne out at the back. Sabitzer switches the ball to Tolisso down the right, who plays a one-two with Muller in the box, before smashing his effort into the top left corner of the net. Schwabe had no chance of stopping that one, great strike and Bayern lead 2-0.
23' Decent effort! Modeste gets on the end of a good cross into the box from the right wing and glances a header towards the bottom left corner of the net. However, it lacks pace to beat Neuer, who makes a comfortable save.
22' The hosts try to play the ball out from the back, but get caught out in the final third as Musiala wins it back in a dangerous position. He then flicks it to Lewandowski in the box, but he can't get a shot away.
19' The pace of the game is quite slow at the moment, there isn't much intensity from either side to push forward and neither keeper is yet to have a save to make.
17' Almost! Musiala is released down the left wing on the counter-attack and just has to pick out a team-mate in the box with his cross, however, his pass is poor and Cologne clear the danger.
15' It's all Bayern at the moment, they've dominated the game since taking the lead, with Cologne having to sit deep to soak up the pressure.
13' Bayern won the last Bundesliga meeting between the clubs, triumphing 3-2 at Allianz Arena in August. Gnabry led Bayern with goals in the 58th and 71st minute. Lewandowski also found the net. Modeste and Uth were on the scoresheet for Cologne.
11' Lewandowski had hardly touched the ball before his goal, but his lethal finish has now fired Bayern into an early lead. The hosts will have to come from behind to get anything out of this one.
T. Müller
9' Cologne were caught out at the back and Bayern piled players forward, with Muller racing into the final third, before picking out Lewandowski, who made no mistakes with the finish.
R. Lewandowski
9' BAYERN GOAL! VAR have taken a look and have overturned the goal, so Bayern lead 1-0! Lewandowski just managed to stay onside as the ball came through to him from Muller and he drilled it past Schwabe and into the back of the net.
9' GOAL RULED OUT! Lewandowksi has the ball in the back of the net for Bayern but it's ruled out for offside! The visitors counter quickly and catch Cologne out at the back, with Muller racing forward and he then plays it through to Lewandowski, who coolly slots the ball into the back of the net. The flag goes up straight out, but VAR are going to take a look at this.
L. Kilian
Yellow Card
9' Kilian picks up an early yellow card for Cologne, for a late challenge in midfield.
7' No chances on goal for either side just yet, it has been very quiet in the final third as both teams struggle to get anything going up front. Cologne look the better side so far.
5' The hosts are edging the early possession here, keeping the ball well in the middle of the pitch and trying to get forward quickly to test the Bayern defence.
3' This could be a very tightly contested game today, as Cologne are enjoying an excellent run of form at the moment, meanwhile Bayern suffered their first defeat in five games last weekend. Nothing to separate the two sides at the moment.
1' We're under way!
The teams are out on the pitch and kick-off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all the match action!
Meanwhile Bayern have made two changes to their starting line-up, with Neuer coming back into the side to replace Ulreich in goal and Tillman drops to the bench, as he is replaced in midfield by Tolisso.
