Commentary

And that will do it from Turin. Allegri heads straight down the tunnel, clearly furious at his team's failure to close out this game. It's a well-earned point for Lyon, who were not daunted by the Bianconeri's imperious defence, and found their way back into the game late on. They're still in with a shout for the knockout stages, while Juve aren't quite there yet. That's it from us, thanks for tuning in!
90' + 4' SIDE NETTING! Lacazette could have won it for the visitors as he was put through by Darder after Barzagli's mistake, but bearing down on goal, he can only fire the ball into the wrong side of the net.
R. Ghezzal
Yellow Card
Olympique Lyonnais
90' + 3' Another booking here, and Ghezzal is the guilty party.
90' + 3' Juventus show some late urgency here, but it appears that they're out of time and ideas. They were banking on their defence to see them through to the end, but that plan did not end up working.
Sergi Darder
Yellow Card
Olympique Lyonnais
90' + 1' Darder fouls Evra, and another yellow comes out.
90' + 1' Lacazette skins Sturaro near the top of hte box, but he doesn't have the body shape to go for goal, so he lays it off to Ghezzal, who tries to clip one into the box, but it's gobbled up by the defence.
S. Sturaro
Yellow Card
Juventus
89' Sturaro has been in the trenches this evening, and he finally puts in one challenge too many as he trips up Tolisso, earning himself a booking. That's four Juve players on yellow cards now.
86' Yo have to say that Lyon probably deserve that goal given the way that they've pushed players forward in the second half, They were waiting for that one slip-up, and it arrived right on time.
R. Ghezzal
Assist
Olympique Lyonnais
84' His deliveries have been one of the main avenues of attack for the visitors.
C. Tolisso
Goal
Olympique Lyonnais
84' LYON ARE LEVEL! A rare lapse at the back from the home side is pounced upon, as Ghezzal's free-kick finds Tolisso ghosting in between some slack defenders to convert from close range!
C. Marchisio
Yellow Card
Juventus
84' In the bedlam surrounding that goal, Marchisio has been booked.
J. Cuadrado
G. Higuaín
Juventus
83' Cuadrado has been summoned for Higuain.
81' To be fair to Lyon, this has been an admirable second half from them, but they're just faced with one of the best defences in recent memory. They've controlled most of the bal in the second period.
79' Ghezzal pumps the ball into the box but once again, a Juventus player is there first to get his head to the ball and get rid of the danger. It doesn't look like the home side will be breached any time soon.
Sergi Darder
N. Fekir
Olympique Lyonnais
77' That demonstrative act was Fekir's last of the game, as Darder comes in to replace him.
76' Lacazette plays a nice first-time ball to Fekir, who is called for an offside. The forward is frustrated, and rips the 'Respect' patch from his arm. You can't get more literal than that in showing your disdain for the officials.
74' Sturaro makes one of his first mistakes of the game, turning the ball over which allows Ghezzal to feed Cornet, who lets fly from a good position inside the box, but it's well over the bar.
72' With Sandro and Benatia on the pitch, Juventus have reverted to their usual 3-5-2 system, which may help them defensively as they look to close this game out. The knockout stage beckons...
M. Cornet
M. Rybus
Olympique Lyonnais
70' Rybus has been withdrawn and on comes Cornet.
70' Alex Sandro makes an immediate impact off the bench, fooling his man out wide before laying the ball off to Higuain, who fires away, but sees his effort blocked before it ends up in the arms of Lopes.
Alex Sandro
M. Pjanić
Juventus
68' Pjanic has also been hurt too badly in a challenge, and he'll play no further part, being replaced by Alex Sandro.
M. Benatia
L. Bonucci
Juventus
68' Bonucci appears to be no longer fit to continue and on comes Benatia to take his place in defence.
65' There's simply no way past the Juventus defence. Lyon have wrangled a decent period of possession from the hosts, but there's plenty of black and white shirts in good positions to frustrate them.
62' Good ball out of the back from Mammana finds Lacazette in some space on the right-hand side. He doubles back and lays it off to Ghezzal, but the Juventus defence are able to get back and crowd out the move.
60' Dani Alves stays down after a tough collision, and the referee stops the game so that he can get treated on the pitch, since it appeared to be a head injury. His cheekbone looks swollen.
A. Barzagli
Yellow Card
Juventus
58' Barzagli is booked after a confusing foul where he went in late on Ghezzal. Tolisso takes charge of the set-piece from about 25 yards out, but he fails to find the target.
56' Sevilla are still 1-0 up against Dinamo Zagreb thanks to Vietto's goal on the half-hour mark, with the Croatian side also having Petar Stojanovic sent off. It's not looking good for Lyon at the moment.
54' Still only one goal in this, but it appears that a second, if it is to arrive, will come from the home side. Lyon have been abject in the second period and are surrendering possession too easily.
52' WASTEFUL! Bonucci plays another fantastic long pass forward that fools the defence and finds Mandzukic in space. The big striker almost nonchalantly whacks it at goal but puts it wide.
50' Not a whole lot happening in the second half, with Juventus looking entirely comfortable on the ball. Lyon haven't managed to advance out of their own half for more than a pass or two.
48' Mandzukic has returned for the second half, suggesting that his injury may not have been as serious as first feared. Still, Allegri has some substitutes warming up on the sidelines here.
46' Here we go again!
And that will do it for the first half from Turin as Juventus hold a 1-0 advantage thanks to Higuain's penalty after a foul by Diakhaby. Chances have conme at something of a premium in this game, but it's the home side who will be satisfied with the way that things have gone. Stay tuned for the restart soon.
45' + 2' LYON GO CLOSE TWICE! Ghezzal slams a long-range effort inches wide of the mark, before Gonalons pummels a header off target as well! Decent openings there for the visitors.
45' + 1' Mandzukic is also limping but he'll see out the remaining seconds and be assessed at the break.
45' Lyon want the ball put out of play, and Marchisio, somewhat reluctantly, obliges. Ghezzal is down after getting involved in a challenge with Sturaro - not the first time that has happened tonight!
43' Excellent attack from Lyon that sees two passes just a slight bit overhit, which allows Juventus the chance to get bodies in the way to get rid of the danger. It's been that sort of frustration for them.
41' LET-OFF FOR LYON! Juventus storm forward on the counter, and Mandzukic draws the attention of tow defenders before slicing a questionable pass that still left Higuain in acres of space, but the striker slotted it over!
M. Pjanić
Yellow Card
Juventus
38' Gonalons tries to spin on the ball and face goal, but he's taken out by Pjanic, who earns the first yellow card of the game.
36' Half-time is now less than 10 minutes away and Lyon will be thinking of changing things up, as they've failed to threaten the opposition other than Rybus' early effort that sting the palms of Buffon.
34' Problem here for Bonucci, who is moving very tenderly, but he's apparently given the signal to the bench that he'll try to run this off. Juventus to have the likes of Rugani on the bench waiting in the wings.
32' Excellent sliding challenge from Alves to take out Rybus, who was looking to burst through the middle and spark a counter-attack for the visitors. The chances have been at a premium in this game.
29' Another tight call goes against Juventus as Mandzukic is whistled for an offside when it appeared that he was also level with his man. That's twice now that the home side could have been put through.
27' Mandzukic's persistence nearly pays off as he hassles Gonalons, who opted against passing the ball back to his goalkeeper in favour of trying to dribble his way out of trouble. He wins the ball but promptly loses it.
25' MARCHISIO NEARLY BRINGS THE HOUSE DOWN! The midfielder, still feeling his way back into action, lashes a half-volley from the top of the box that takes a lick of paint off the post on its way out!
23' Period of possession for Lyon now, which isn't going anywhere. Higuain's penalty is the difference between the sides - he did what Lacazette could not from the spot in the reverse meeting in France a few weeks ago.
21' Juventus are one of only three teams that have not conceded yet at the Champions League group stages this season. No side has ever made it to the knockout stages without being breached at least once.
19' Juventus are finding things far too easy here, winning the ball back whenever they sense that Lyon might be able to get something going in the final third. They've won quite a few corners too, and Pjanic is looking good when delivering them.
17' Lopes nearly gets caught dallying on the ball inside his own area as he failed to realise that Mandzukic was closing down on him. He manages to get the ball clear though, saving himself some embarrasment.
15' Juventus are well on their way now. The home fans are in full voice, and Lyon's decent start to the match counts for nothing now. They better be careful they don't concede a second here with the place rocking!
G. Higuaín
Penalty Goal
Juventus
13' BURIED BY HIGUAIN! The Argentine striker lashes it into the bottom-left corner, sending Anthony Lopes the wrong way. That's his 100th goal in the colours of an Italian club!
13' PENALTY TO JUVENTUS! Needless from Diakhaby, as the 19-year-old shows his inexperience by putting his arms on the back of Sturaro, who was in the box but facing away from goal and at an angle when receiving the ball.
12' A bad turnover by Tolisso allows Bonucci to step in, win the ball and deliver an instant long pass to Higuain. The Argentine quickly touches it into the path of Mandzukic who unloads from 20 yards, but Anthony Lopes makes a commendable save, holding onto the ball too!
10' Some good pressure by Lyon from the front has put Juventus in a bit of bother, but they're unable to really get the ball and attack from a deep position in the opposition half of the field.
8' SAVED BY BUFFON! Lacazette shows great vision to put Rybus through on goal, and the wide man stays in front of Bonucci before hammering a low shot away, but Buffon is able to parry.
5' Looks like a problem here for Rafael, who was taken out by Sturaro in a challenge. The Brazilian full-back is moving gingerly and was slow to get up, but he'll be kept on the pitch for now.
3' Somewhat harsh offside call against Pjanic as he burst through down the left-hand side. It appeared that the former Roma man was dead level with his opponent, but he failed to finish it anyway.
1' Off we go!
1' Fekir takes charge of the set-piece just over 20 yards from goal, but he fails to find the target.
Christophe Jallet and Mathieu Valbuena are injured for the visiting side, while Rafael is one booking away from a suspension. Nabil Fekir and Alexandre Lacazette lead the line for the Ligue 1 side.
With Paulo Dybala absent tonight for Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri has shifted to a 4-3-1-2 that puts Miralem Pjanic behind strikers Gonzalo Higuain and Mario Mandzukic, while Stefano Sturaro comes into midfield.
Lyon subs: Yanga-Mbiwa, Grenier, Ferri, Darder, Cornet, Tousart, Gorgelin.
Lyon (4-4-2): Anthony Lopes; Rafael, Diakhaby, Mammana, Morel; Ghezzal, Gonalons, Tolisso, Rybis; Fekir, Lacazette.
Juventus subs: Benatia, Cuadrado, Hernanes, Alex Sandro, Rugani, Neto, Kean.
Juventus (4-3-1-2): Buffon; Alves, Barzagli, Bonucci, Evra; Sturaro, Marchisio, Khedira; Pjanic; Higuain, Mandzukic.
Lyon are four points behind Juve and Sevilla and even defeat won't rule them out of the knockout round at this stage, but it will leave them basically needing to win their final two matches against the Spaniards and Dinamo Zagreb.
Juventus will book a place in the last 16 with a win here, and they have a formidable record of 18 European games unbeaten at home to back that up. They're four points clear in Serie A as well - business as usual.
Hello and welcome to our live commentary of the Champions League clash between Juventus and Lyon in Turin. The visitors know that defeat will put their hopes of qualification in jeopardy, but they're up against a side that hasn't conceded yet in the group stages.
