Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Juventus are next in action against Lokomotiv Moscow during the week in the Champions League on home soil, while Bologna face Sampdoria in Serie A next Sunday at home.
Juventus hold on to claim their sixth win on the bounce in all competitions and to extend their lead at the top of the Serie A to four points over Inter, although the Nerazzurri have a game in hand. It was not a perfect performance from the Bianconeri, but goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Miralem Pjanic were enough. Danilo Larangeira did score a first-half equaliser for Bologna, who put in a spirited display. Lukasz Skorupski kept his side in the contest with several excellent saves in the second half. It almost allowed the visitors to snatch a point, but Federico Santander struck the bar and saw an effort saved by Gianluigi Buffon at the death. It was enough for Juve to secure the win and they will be pleased to emerge from the victory even though they were not at their best.
M. Bani
Yellow Card
90' + 5' Krejci is booked for his appeal to the referee for a penalty shout after Orsolini goes down in the box.
90' + 5' FULL-TIME: JUVENTUS 2-1 BOLOGNA
90' + 4' OFF THE BAR AND SAVE! Santander is denied twice in the space of seconds. Orsolini puts the ball on the money for the striker, but he hits the bar with his close-range header. The rebound bounces off the woodwork and out towards the forward again. He goes for an overhead kick on this occasion, only to see Buffon produce a brilliant stop to turn his effort over. What a moment for Juve hold out for the win.
90' + 3' Bologna will have one final chance to whip a cross into the box from the right flank from a free-kick.
90' + 2' Skov Olsen fires a low ball into the middle and it hits De Ligt near the arm as he attempts to clear on the slide. The VAR takes a look at the incident, but rules that it was not a penalty.
90' There will be three minutes of added time.
89' Mbaye wins possession from Bernadeschi and immediately offloads towards Palacio, but the two players are not on the same page and the opening is spurned.
88' Palacio probes down the right flank and he sends a cross deep to the back post, but his delivery fails to reach Santander as it travels out for a goal-kick.
87' Alex Sandro whips a cross into the box and Ronaldo goes up for the ball with Bani. The defender goes down and wins a free-kick for the visitors, much to the bemusement of the Portuguese.
85' Pjanic wastes the resulting free-kick as he overhits his delivery out for a goal-kick.
Danilo
Yellow Card
84' Danilo goes into the book for a loose challenge on Matuidi 20 yards from goal.
83' CHANCE! Bonucci loses out at the back to Palacio and his strike is blocked into the path of Orsolini in the right inside channel. It's a clear path at goal for the winger but he fails to connect with his strike on the half-volley, spurning a huge opportunity to equalise.

The Argentine returns the pass to the Portuguese, who turns and shoots on his left foot. He powers his effort towards goal, only to be denied by a one-handed save by Skorupski.

75' SAVE! Skorupski denies Juve once more. Ronaldo raids into the right inside channel and fires a low ball across the face of goal. Higuain makes contact on the slide, but the Bologna keeper makes the block with his body. Bernadeschi goes for the follow-up, but Bani is there with a well-timed challenge.
74' Orsolini is afforded space and time on the right flank and he digs out a dangerous cross into the middle. It evades the two Bologna forwards in the box and into the hands of Buffon.
B. Matuidi
A. Rabiot
73' Rabiot is withdrawn for Matuidi for the final 17 minutes of the match.
R. Bentancur
Yellow Card

65' Rabiot raids down the left flank and fires a low ball into the middle, but there is no black and white shirt there to convert.
64' DOUBLE SAVE! Skorupski keeps Bologna in the game with a brilliant double save. Ronaldo releases Alex Sandro down the left flank and he tees up Higuain in the left inside channel. R. Bentancur
S. Khedira
62' Bentancur replaces Khedira for the home side.
61' Bologna have space on the break and Sansone tries to roll a pass towards Orsolini in the right inside channel, but De Ligt is well placed to make the interception.
59' SAVE! Khedira latches on to a lofted pass in the right inside channel from Higuain. He goes for a drive at goal on the half-volley, but Skorupski holds his ground to make a fine save.
58' Ronaldo twists and turns to break into the right inside channel. His cross is deflected towards the back post, but it sails over the head of Rabiot.
56' Ronaldo tries to get the best of Mbaye in the final third, but the defender holds his ground in the box and wins the free-kick.
M. Pjanić
Goal
54' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! PJANIC POUNCES!! 2-1!!! Juve regain the lead as Bologna get themselves in a tangle at the back. Rabiot tries to turn in the box, but loses out to Mbaye and Orsolini, only for the two defenders to trip over each other. Alex Sandro tees up Ronaldo, but the ball is blocked into the path of Pjanic. He holds his composure to slot his effort into the left bottom corner.

47' Cuadrado keeps the attack alive and tries to whip a cross into the box from the right flank, but he sends the ball straight out for a goal-kick.
47' Higuain collects a lay-off from Cuadrado on the edge of the box and turns to fire at goal. However, his effort is charged down by Bani.
46' We're back underway at Allianz Stadium.
Maurizio Sarri was booked in the aftermath of the Bologna equaliser and that's a sign of his frustration. His side have not been operating at the peak of their powers in the final third, while they've been hit on the break a couple of times by the visitors. Sarri will be demanding more from his team after the break.
It's all square the break between Juventus and Bologna in their Serie A clash at Allianz Stadium. The Bianconeri took the lead through Cristiano Ronaldo as he robbed Ladislav Krejci of possession before blasting a strike into the bottom corner. However, the visitors drew level with a fine strike from Danilo Larangeira, who collected Ibrahima Mbaye's flick-on before dispatching his strike into the right corner away from Gianluigi Buffon. It has been a pretty even contest as Bologna are comfortable at the back and dangerous on the break.
45' HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-1 BOLOGNA
43' Bernadeschi whips a dangerous cross into the middle from the right flank on his left foot. It's right in the danger zone and it forces Skorupki to come off his line and punch the ball away.
42' OVER! Pjanic lines up his kick, only to curl his effort comfortably over the bar. The midfielder and Ronaldo did not seem happy with either the wall or the decision of a goal-kick.
41' Rabiot buys a free-kick off minimal contact from Mbaye on the edge of the box. Even if there was contact it was intentional as the right-back had his body turned away from the Frenchman.
39' BLOCK! De Ligt has to be alert at the back to stop Orsolini's drive on the half-volley after he latches on to Palacio's cross from the left. The home side look vulnerable on the counter.
38' Juve are lacking cohesion in their attacking play. Even Ronaldo's goal came from a mistake from Krejci. Sarri will be slightly concerned on the touchline.

6' Alex Sandro sends a cross into the box and De Ligt tries to head towards the net, but his attempt is cleared away by the visitors.
5' De Ligt sends a ball behind the Bologna backline and Alex Sandro wins a free-kick from a challenge from Orsolini,
3' Sansone draws a foul from Bonucci with a run down the left flank, but the free-kick comes to nothing for the visitors.
2' Space opens up down the left flank for Ronaldo to strike at goal. He attempts a left-footed effort, only to pull it wide of the post.
1' We're underway at Allianz Stadium.
Juventus have only lost one of their 31 Serie A meetings against Bologna in the 21st century (W22 D8), a 0-2 defeat in February 2011, with Alberto Malesani in charge of the Rossoblu.
Bologna have made two changes to their side from their draw against Lazio. Medel is suspended and misses out, which sees Soriano come into the side and Svanberg drop into a deeper role. Mbaye gets the nod to start at right-back in place of Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Maurizio Sarri has made three changes to his side from their win over Inter last time out. Buffon replaces Szczesny between the sticks. Rabiot comes into the side to replace Matuidi in the midfield, while Higuain gets the nod to start ahead of Dybala. Szczesny, Matuidi and Dybala drop to the bench this evening.
BOLOGNA SUBS: Angelo da Costa, Stefano Denswil, Nehuen Pez, Federico Santander, Andreas Skov Olsen, Gabriele Corbo, Jerdy Schouten, Blerim Dzemaili, Mouhamadou Sarr.
BOLOGNA (4-2-3-1): Lukasz Skorupski; Ibrahima Mbaye, Danilo Larangeira, Mattia Bani, Ladislav Krejci; Mattias Svanberg, Andrea Poli; Riccardo Orsolini, Roberto Soriano, Nicola Sansone; Rodrigo Palacio.
JUVENTUS SUBS: Wojciech Szczesny, Paulo Dybala, Danilo, Blaise Matuidi, Emre Can, Daniele Rugani, Merih Demiral, Rodrigo Bentancur, Carlo Pinsoglio.
JUVENTUS (4-3-3): Gianluigi Buffon; Juan Cuadrado, Matthijs de Ligt, Leonardo Bonucci, Alex Sandro; Sami Khedira, Miralem Pjanic, Adrien Rabiot; Federico Bernardeschi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuain.
Bologna are winless in their last four Serie A matches, including their 2-2 draw against Lazio last time out. It was a thrilling contest as goals from Ladislav Krejci and Rodrigo Palacio had twice put them ahead, but a brace from Ciro Immobile rescued Lazio, while Gary Medel was sent off for Sinisa Mihajlovic's men. They know the size of their challenge and they will have to be flawless to earn a positive result.
Juventus were on a roll before the international break, recording five wins on the bounce in all competitions. However, their final victory was the most important as they defeated Inter 2-1 at San Siro courtesy of a late strike from Gonzalo Higuain. The win has put them one point clear at the top of the table and the Bianconeri will look to continue their imperious run of form this evening.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Serie A clash between Juventus and Bologna at Allianz Stadium.
