That concludes our commentary of the Serie A fixture between Hellas Verona and Juventus! We hope you’ve enjoyed it!
Hellas Verona are in action again in midweek, when they travel to face Benevento. Juventus take to the pitch again on Tuesday, when they host Spezia.
90 minutes isn’t enough to separate the two sides as Hellas Verona and Juventus draw 1-1 for the second time this season. Ronaldo opened the scoring four minutes after the restart after linking up well with Chiesa, but the Bianconeri seemingly took their foot off the gas after grabbing the advantage, allowing their opponents back into the game. Juric’s men took the initiative well and after a number of clever substitutions, found themselves back level thanks to Barak’s header 13 minutes from time. The hosts finished the stronger of the two but will surely settle for a hard-fought point. The draw keeps Juventus in third but moves them to three points back of Milan who play tomorrow. Verona stay ninth - but go level with Sassuolo.
90' + 2' The fourth official indicates three minutes will be added for stoppages.
90' + 1' Ronaldo steps up to take the free-kick, looking to win it for his side in injury time, but the wall holds firm and repels the effort.
P. Dawidowicz
Yellow Card
90' Dawidowicz pushes Ronaldo over from behind just outside the penalty area. It's a yellow for the Verona player.
88' Veloso receives the ball on the edge of the penalty area and cuts back - sending McKennie to the floor before firing a poor left-footed shot that ends in a Szczesny goal-kick.
A. Di Pardo
F. Chiesa
86' Chiesa is withdrawn as Pirlo sends Di Pardo on for his second appearance in a Juve kit.
86' SZCZESNY MAKES A HUGE SAVE! Lazovic is allowed to walk into the penalty area and shift his body one way then another before thumping a high shot - forcing the goalkeeper into a backpedalling tip over the crossbar.
Daniel Bessa
M. Zaccagni
84' The second change sees the ever-involved Zaccagni replaced by Bessa.
P. Dawidowicz
D. Faraoni
84' Hellas Verona make two changes with just over five minutes left - the first of which sees Faraoni replaced by Dawidowicz.
83' Barak brings the ball down from out of the air with his chest and takes a step before lashing a left-footed volley towards goal that goes narrowly wide.
81' Ronaldo lunges into a challenge on Vieira and catches him - giving Hellas Verona a free-kick and a chance to catch their breaths.
79' It’s a whole different match with 10 minutes left, as the hosts are going to have to increase their tempo yet again if they wish to earn all three points. Juve have taken a bit of a step backwards since scoring - allowing Verona back into the game.
D. Lazović
77' Juric's substitution pays dividends as Lazovic registers the assist 25 minutes after being sent on.
A. Barák
77' HELLAS VERONA FIND THE EQUALISER WITH UNDER 15 MINUTES LEFT! The hosts fully deserve to get back into the match, and do so with relative ease after Lazovic’s chipped cross from the left is met by the head of Barak - who rises higher than Alex Sandro to nod the ball in! 1-1!
75' Faraoni takes a Hellas Verona corner from the left, but he puts his delivery far too high as it sails over the head of Lovato.
73' Play is stopped for Ronaldo, who is down following some contact with Magnani. The striker appears to be holding his knee in pain - though he should be okay to continue.
71' Ronaldo has scored more than one goal in seven Serie A games this season, more than any other player in the Top-5 European Leagues – the Juventus striker has scored three goals in his last three league appearances, having failed to find the net in each of his previous three.
69' Bernardeschi’s corner is taken towards Kulusevski at the near post, but Magnani rises highest to head the ball away.
W. McKennie
A. Ramsey
68' Pirlo makes Juve's first change of the match, sending McKennie on for the booked Ramsey.
R. Vieira Nan
S. Sturaro
67' Sturaro hasn't had a great day against his former team and he'll be replaced with just over 20 minutes left. Vieira is on in his place.
66' Bernardeschi cuts inside and lays the ball off to Ronaldo, who shifts his body weight before curling an effort from outside the area that lands comfortably in Silvestri’s hands.
64' Zaccagni manages to drive in-between Bentancur and Demiral whilst slipping into the penalty area, but a particularly heavy touch once inside the 18-yard box gifts possession to Szczesny.
62' Veloso has a sight at goal and opts to strike from distance, sending his shot towards the goalkeeper at a comfortable height for Szczesny to catch.
60' Kulusevski drives into the penalty area and lays it off for Ramsey, but the ensuing shot is blasted against the face of Lovato - whose block keeps Silvestri out of harm's way.
58' Kulusevski looks to take a shot on-target from inside the penalty area but before he’s allowed to Juventus are called for a free-kick, as Chiesa is singled out for catching the leg of Sturaro.
56' Ronaldo looks to volley a pass over the head of Lovato for Kulusevski, but the fourth official raises his flag as the Portuguese international received his pass from Rabiot in an offside position.
54' Faraoni takes a Verona corner - but it’s cleared out of the penalty area at the first time of asking. The loose ball falls to substitute Lazovic, who smashes a volley that goes harmlessly high of Szczesny’s goal.
D. Lazović
F. Dimarco
52' Juric makes a change as he's forced to chase the game, replacing Dimarco with Lazovic.
51' There are complaints from the Hellas Verona players who are calling for a penalty after Zaccagni was taken down inside the penalty area by Chiesa. The referee immediately urges play to continue, and the VAR confirms his stance.
F. Chiesa
49' Chiesa and Ronaldo have arguably been Juventus' best players going forward this season - and they combine well here as Chiesa is credited with the assist for the opener.
Cristiano Ronaldo
49' RONALDO OPENS THE SCORING! It’s a simple goal for the Portugal international, who makes a late run into the penalty area and gets on the end of Chiesa’s square pass - tucking it past Silvestri with a first-time shot! 1-0 to the Bianconeri!
48' Zaccagni gets into a good position to cross after being brought into play by Lasagna, but Chiesa tracks back and does his defensive work, winning back possession.
46' Juventus get the match restarted from the kick-off!
Miguel Veloso
I. Ilić
46' Hellas Verona make a swap at the half, with Veloso replacing Ilic.
Due to injuries and suspensions, Juventus’ usually experienced bench is full of youth. Without a veteran striker to call upon should the Bianconeri need a goal, McKennie looks the most likely option - as he’s able to fill a number of roles and duties on the pitch. Juric has a number of options should he need to change things up, with the pacy Salcedo able to lead the line should Lasagna remain undercooked.
A tight and cagey affair at the Bentegodi sees both Hellas Verona and Juventus enter the half-time interval level at 0-0. There haven't been too many clear cut chances for either side, with Faraoni’s near post reverse-header the closest either team came to breaking the deadlock. Juve have ceded much of the ball to their opponents, favouring to hit on the counter-attack whenever possible; though Ronaldo has been kept very quiet. It’s all still to play for, with both Hellas and Juve more than capable of winning all three points from this position.
A. Barák
Yellow Card
45' Barak brings Alex Sandro down right in front of the referee and earns himself a late yellow card.
43' Faraoni puts a cross into the penalty area after working some space - but sends his effort into the side netting after almost catching the keeper napping at his near post. It’s a goal-kick for the visitors - but another warning sign.
41' Bernardeschi’s corner from the left sails over the head of De Ligt and rolls out of the penalty area for Kulusevski to recollect and start again.
39' Demiral plays a poor ball in midfield, giving it right to Verona. A pass is played through De Ligt and Bentancur for Lasagna, but Szczesny is off his line to make the save at the foot of the keeper.
37' Juventus have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five league games, as many as in their previous 27 – no side has kept more than Juventus in this period in Serie A (level with Inter).
35' The free-kick is swung in by Barak, where it’s met at the edge of the 18 by the head of Faraoni. It’s sent to the far post, but without a team-mate in the vicinity it’s allowed to roll behind for a goal-kick.
M. de Ligt
Yellow Card
33' In a little bit of retaliation, De Ligt climbs over Lasagna during an attempt to win an aerial duel - sending the striker to the ground. The referee shows the Juventus defender a yellow card, much to De Ligt’s amazement.
32' Juventus are given a free-kick in the immediate aftermath of Verona’s set-piece after Lasagna is called for digging an elbow into the side of De Ligt. It looks a painful one for the centre-back, but the referee keeps his cards in his pocket.
30' The match is rising in intensity as a number of off-the-ball fouls have been called in recent moments - the most recent of which sees Ramsey booked for a push in midfield. The former Arsenal man needs to be careful, as he’s already on a booking.
28' Chiesa goes through the back of Zaccagni after a turnover in possession following a throw-in, allowing Hellas Verona to once again reorganise inside Juve’s half.
26' Ronaldo gets onto the ball just ahead of the 18-yard box and steps past not one but two defenders before firing a left-footed effort that sails high and wide of the target.
24' Juventus are being made to work very hard to clear their own half as Verona press high up the pitch. They’re given a little bit of respite this time however, as Sturaro is called for a foul on Rabiot.
22' Verona have won four points in their last two matches against Juventus in Serie A (W1 D1), having lost each of their previous three encounters; they could go unbeaten in three consecutive games in Serie A against the Bianconeri for the first time since the 80s (4 games: W2 D2).
20' Verona are enjoying a good spell of possession, but they’re being kept in midfield as Juventus close the space well ahead of their own 18-yard box. The hosts have been promising in the opening 20 minutes, giving Juventus some real trouble.
A. Ramsey
Yellow Card
18' Ramsey steps in and catches Zaccagni, who was streaking through midfield at full-pace. It’s a yellow card for the Wales international - who is adamant he got there first.
15' Good play from Juventus through Kulusevski, who takes on and beats a couple defenders on the right wing before cutting inside and squaring a pass to the edge of the 18 for Rabiot - whose first-time effort skews harmlessly away from goal.
13' Danger for Juventus as Dimarco is allowed to Szczesny’s penalty area and whip a pacey cross to the far post in search of Barak, who is a half-step behind the delivery.
11' The set-piece is hoisted into the penalty area in search of Barak, but three Juventus defenders converge to get a necessary clearing touch.
10' Lasagna gets to a loose ball first in midfield, forcing De Ligt into an awkward sliding challenge that brings the striker down. It’s not a booking for the defender, but Verona are given a free-kick in a dangerous area.
8' SZCZESNY GETS A CRUCIAL TOUCH! Verona take their first corner-kick short, before working a cross to the near post. Faraoni gets to it first to nod it back towards the target - forcing the goalkeeper to push the ball up off the crossbar and out!
6' Juventus’ attempt at a short corner ends in a Verona free-kick as Demiral drags back a defender in an attempt to get to Ramsey’s poor cross.
4' Juventus hoist a free-kick from midfield into the Verona penalty area, but De Ligt fails to catch his volley cleanly - sending it comfortably towards the goalkeeper.
2' A mishit clearance from Silvestri allows Ramsey through into the penalty area, but his low shot to the near post is pushed behind by the goalkeeper.
1' Hellas Verona get the match underway from the kick-off!
A change of formation sees three changes for Juventus from the side that thrashed Crotone 3-0 last time out. Szczesny returns between the posts replacing Buffon, while Bernardeschi replaces the suspended Danilo. Midfield also sees a change, as McKennie is dropped to the bench in favour of Rabiot.
Hellas Verona make two changes from their 2-2 draw with Genoa last week. Lazovic makes way for Dimarco on the left wing, while former Juventus midfielder Sturaro gets the nod ahead of Tameze.

With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let's take a look at how the two sides are lining up - starting with our hosts!
Juventus take to the pitch looking to put real pressure on the Milanese sides - both of whom play tomorrow. Currently eight points back of pace-setters Inter, Andrea Pirlo will have no doubts that the Bianconeri can continue to cut the points deficit in search of their 10th straight Scudetto - though they’ll have to manage today without a raft of attacking options including both Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata, who are sidelined.
Verona could add to their already impressive season with a scalp against incumbent champions Juventus, a win that would take them - at least temporarily - above Sassuolo and into eighth place. Ivan Juric has his side on a run of two matches without defeat after sustaining back-to-back losses against Roma and Udinese; the first time they had lost twice in succession all season.
