That's all for today, goodbye!
Germany remain second in Group C despite that win due to Northern Ireland's victory over Belarus, but they easily have the superior goal difference as well as a game in hand. They will face the group leaders in their next qualifier in September. Estonia now drop to the bottom of the table due to their inferior goal difference and they will be hoping to put this result behind them when they start their preparation for their next match against Belarus.
Germany cruise past Estonia to win 8-0. Reus opened the scoring in the 10th minute when he fired Kehrer's cross into the roof of the net and Gnabry followed up with a second when he tapped the ball into an empty net. Goretzka got the third just three minutes later when he headed his effort past Lepmets. Gundogan then added a fourth from the spot before Reus scored a brilliant curling free-kick from the edge of the area before half-time. Gnabry scored his second when he emphatically turned Halstenberg's cross over the line. Werner was next to get on the scoresheet when he chipped a wonderful shot over Lepmets and into the far corner. Sane had two goals disallowed for offside but finally rounded off the scoring with minutes left of the game when he curled his shot past the defenders and into the far side of the net.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: GERMANY 8-0 ESTONIA.
90' + 2' Germany are not letting up in the final minute of the game as they continue to pass their way between Estonia's defenders with ease.
90' Just the two minutes of stoppage time to be added onto the end of the match.
J. Draxler
Assist
Germany
88' Draxler gets his second assist of the match, this time with a good throughball past the Estonia defenders to pick out Sane's run.
L. Sané
Goal
Germany
88' SANE FINALLY GETS HIS GOAL! It's third time lucky for Sane as he finally finds the back of the net with a brilliant curling effort around Pikk and into the bottom corner. This time, he had drifted into an offside position, but the linesman didn't see it. 8-0 Germany!
86' Ojamaa is very close to getting on the end of Puri's hopeful ball forward, but Neuer is quickly off his line to collect the pass on the edge of his penalty area.
84' Gnabry almost gets his hat-trick! Draxler had drifted out to the right wing and he squared his cross into the middle of the box where Gnabry was waiting. He tries to just deftly tap it into the back of the net, but he can only send it wide of the far post.
V. Kreida
K. Vassiljev
Estonia
82' Final change for Estonia now as Kreida comes on to replace Vassiljev.
81' SANE HAS ANOTHER GOAL DISALLOWED! Werner cuts the ball back to him on the penalty spot and he drills his shot low, under Lepmets and into the back of the net. Gnabry had drifted into an offside position though and he was stood directly in front of the keeper, meaning he had interfered with play. Still 7-0.
J. Draxler
Assist
Germany
79' Draxler brushed off Vihmann easily before slipping a short throughball to Werner ahead of him.
T. Werner
Goal
Germany
79' GERMANY HAVE A SEVENTH! Werner gets the better of Tamm as he brings the ball under control on the left side of the box and the goalkeeper is quickly off his line to close him down. The substitute brilliantly chips it over Lepmets though to nestle the ball into the far corner of the net. 7-0 Germany!
78' GREAT SAVE BY LEPMETS! Some quick passing from Germany plays in Werner in the middle of the box and he takes his shot first time. He doesn't catch out Lepmets though, who is quickly off his line to punch the effort away and the goalkeeper is furious with his defenders.
76' Gnabry is left in a lot of space in the left of the box and he takes his shot from a tight angle, aiming for the far bottom corner. He can't quite get his angles right though, and his shot rolls wide of the far post.
75' Germany are trying to draw Estonia out of their own box by passing it in and around the midfield players, but the away side aren't committing many people forward so they can keep tight in defence.
73' As soon as Estonia get out of their own half, their passing becomes sloppy again and they're making it too easy for Germany to win back possession. This time, it's a loose touch from Kams that allows Kimmich to win it back and he catches him with a late challenge to give the home side a free-kick.
H. Ojamaa
S. Zenjov
Estonia
71' Reim takes off Zenjov now, who has had the best chance for Estonia and Ojamaa comes on in his place.
70' GREAT CHANCE FOR WERNER! Halstenberg, once again, was given a lot of space down the left and he drills another good cross into the six-yard box. Werner gets on the end of it, but can't turn it on target as he sends it wide of the far post instead.
68' GERMANY HAVE GOAL WRONGLY DISALLOWED! Sule's throughball caught out the Estonia defenders and picked out Sane on the edge of the box. He took the ball under control well before firing his shot into the far corner of the net from a tight angle on the right. The linesman put his flag up, but Sane had actually been onside when the pass was played. Still 6-0 Germany.
T. Werner
M. Reus
Germany
66' Final change of the game for Germany and Reus won't be getting a hat-trick today as he is replaced by Werner.
64' Estonia are starting to look tired now as they give the ball away cheaply again following the restart. They are sitting further and further back as the game goes on, just letting Germany keep possession in their half.
M. Halstenberg
Assist
Germany
62' Halstenberg was given a lot of space down the left wing as he put the cross into the six-yard box.
S. Gnabry
Goal
Germany
62' GNABRY NETS GERMANY'S SIXTH! Halstenberg drills a low cross into the box and Gnabry was making a run onto it. He reached it before Lepmets and tapped it into the back of the net. 6-0 Germany!
61' Germany scored five goals in the first half of a game for the first time since their 7-1 victory over Brazil during the 2014 World Cup.
M. Käit
A. Dmitrijev
Estonia
59' Reim makes his first change of the game now and Dmitrijev goes off and is replaced by Kait.
57' Halstenberg puts a very good cross into the six-yard box where Sane is running onto the ball. It's just behind him though and it ends bouncing off his shoulder back towards the penalty spot. He feels like he was pushed and he's asking for a penalty, but the referee waves the claim away.
57' GOOD CHANCE FOR ZENJOV! The forward picks up the ball on the edge of the box and has a go from long range. This time, he does manage to get his effort on target, but it's straight at Neuer.
55' Germany are once again dominating in possession and Estonia have nearly all of their players sat back in the final third to close down the space and stop Germany from finding a way into the box.
J. Draxler
İ. Gündoğan
Germany
53' Second change for Germany now and it's the scorer of the fourth goal, Gundogan, that's making way. Draxler is on in his place.
52' Mets tries to pick out Zenjov with a long ball over Germany's midfield, but he overhits the pass and there is no way that the forward could catch it to keep it in play.
50' Sane turns brilliantly with the ball on the edge of the box, but he's crowded out by Estonia defenders. He tries to square it to Gnabry to his right, but the pass is played behind him and Estonia are able to get it clear.
48' GOOD CHANCE FOR ZENJOV! He does all the work himself after picking up the ball on the halfway line and drifting away from three Germany defenders. He has no one up in support so he has a go from outside the box, but he sends his effort wide of the far post.
46' Estonia get us back underway for the second half!
M. Halstenberg
N. Schulz
Germany
46' Sorg makes a change at the start of the second half and he brings off Schulz and replaces him with Halstenberg.
Sorg will be very impressed with his side as they completely dominated the first half and it's a question of how many goals Germany will score in this match now. He will be hoping for more of the same when they come out after the break. For Estonia, it's a matter of pride now, and they won't want to concede any more in the second half. If they can keep the ball better when they win back possession then that will help them to ease the pressure that Germany have been piling onto them since the start of the game.
Germany were in total control and take a 5-0 lead over Estonia into half-time. Reus opened the scoring just 10 minutes in when he fired Kehrer's cross into the roof of the net and Gnabry followed up with a second in the 17th minute when he tapped in. Goretzka got the third just three minutes later when he rose highest to head his effort past Lepmets. Tamm then pulled back Goretzka in the box and Gundogan converted the resulting spot-kick before Reus scored the fifth with a brilliant curling free-kick from the edge of the area.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: GERMANY 5-0 ESTONIA.
45' Estonia have a free-kick in a very good position on the edge of the box and Vassiljev steps up to take it. He curls his shot around the wall, but it's straight at Neuer and ends up being a comfortable save for the goalkeeper.
43' Reus gets away from his defender with a good bit of skill on the right side of the box and cuts the ball back into the middle to try and set up a tap in for Gnabry. It's just ahead of the forward though and he can't get on the end of it.
41' Gundogan decides to have a go from long range and drives his shot low from the edge of the box. Vihmann gets across to him quickly though to block the effort.
39' Teniste spots Kams' run down the right wing and he plays a good throughball up to him. His first touch is poor though and Gundogan is quickly across to win back possession for his side.
M. Reus
Goal
Germany
37' REUS MAKES IT FIVE! He was one of three players stood over the set-piece and he struck the effort really well. His shot curled up and over the wall before beating the keeper and nestling into the back of the net. 5-0 Germany!
36' Germany have a free-kick in a good position on the edge of the box after Vassilijev caught Goretzka with a late challenge and it looks like it's within shooting range.
34' Estonia are camped in their own half at the minute with no way past Germany when they do win back possession. So, they've taken to just hitting long balls downfield in the hopes of giving themselves a short break from the home side's pressure.
32' Gnabry and Sane play a clever one-two on the edge of the box and when Gnabry gets it back, he takes his shot first time. There's a lot of power on the effort, but it's always rising as it flies over the crossbar.
30' BRILLIANT SAVE BY LEPMETS! Reus is given a lot of space on the edge of the box and he takes a touch before aiming his shot for the top corner. Lepmets quickly scrambles across his line and punches the effort against the crossbar to deny him.
29' Dmitrijev has the ball down the right wing, but he is quickly closed down by two Germany defenders to block his way forward. He manages to slip a pass through to Kams, but he's dispossessed by Schulz.
27' GREAT SAVE BY LEPMETS! Sane has drifted out to the right now and he fires his shot on goal as soon as he picks up the ball in the box. The goalkeeper gets to the near post quickly and gets a strong hand to the effort to push it out of play.
İ. Gündoğan
Penalty Goal
Germany
26' AND IT'S FOUR! Gundogan confidently steps up to the spot and after a short run-up, fires his shot to the left of the goal and wrong foots the goalkeeper. 4-0 Germany!
J. Tamm
Yellow Card
Estonia
25' Tamm is shown a yellow card for the challenge on Goretzka and he's the first player to go in the book today.
25' PENALTY TO GERMANY! Goretzka was making a run into the six-yard box to get on the end of Kimmich's pass and he was just tugged back by Tamm. The referee is in no doubt as he quickly points to the spot.
24' Estonia have a rare push forward into Germany's half of the field and are passing the ball more confidently than they have been previously in the half. Puri ends up fouling Ginter after he lays off the ball though and possession is back with the home side.
22' Vassiljev almost plays his side into trouble on the edge of his own box as he runs back with the ball due to the lack of options ahead of him. He turns well with the ball and plays it onto Kams just before Sane can close him down.
J. Kimmich
Assist
Germany
20' Kimmich was given too much room on the edge of the box and he picks out Goretzka perfectly with his chipped cross.
L. Goretzka
Goal
Germany
20' GORETZKA MAKES IT THREE! It's just too easy for Germany! Mets doesn't clear his lines when he has the chance and gives it to Kimmich. His cross into the middle picks out Goretzka, who rises higher than everyone else, and he nods the ball into the top corner. 3-0 Germany!
19' Estonia just can't get on the ball at the minute. Their passing is very sloppy and they are gifting possession back to Germany so easily.
L. Sané
Assist
Germany
17' Sane did really well to bring down Kimmich's pass and he drew the goalkeeper to him before squaring the ball back across goal to pick out Gnabry.
S. Gnabry
Goal
Germany
17' GNABRY DOUBLES THE LEAD! Sane squares the ball to Gnabry, who is waiting in the middle of the goal to tap it into the back of the empty net. 2-0 Germany!
15' Estonia are really struggling to deal with the pressure from Germany. Kimmich has another shot from the edge of the box which is blocked by the crowd of players in front of him. It pinballs around in the penalty area and eventually, Vihmann clears it.
13' GOOD SAVE BY LEPMETS! Germany are in again, and it's a cross into the box from the right side again that Estonia fail to clear. Sane nodded the ball down and Goretzka got on the end of it, and the goalkeeper made a good save from close range to deny him.
12' Germany are straight back on the attack following the restart and have a corner which is taken by Kimmich. The cross is put into a good area of the box, but Pikk gets there first to clear the danger for Estonia.
T. Kehrer
Assist
Germany
10' Kehrer is given way too much space down the right wing which gives him time to get his head up and pick out Reus in the middle with his cross.
M. Reus
Goal
Germany
10' REUS PUTS GERMANY AHEAD! Kehrer cuts the ball back into the six-yard box and Reus is left unmarked as he fires his shot over the goalkeeper, who had gone to ground to save the effort, and into the roof of the net. 1-0 Germany!
9' Estonia's passing is sloppy when they do win back possession, which is just inviting more pressure onto themselves. This time it's Lepmets that gives away the ball with a poor goal-kick.
7' Estonia have their first real chance to keep some possession now and try and get out of their own half after being pinned back by Germany. Just as Dmitrijev brings down the ball, he fouls Schulz and Germany have a free-kick.
5' Kimmich chips the ball up to Gnabry, who times his run really well to stay onside. The pass is slightly behind him and he improvises by lifting it over the goalkeeper with the back of his heel, but his effort is just wide of the post.
4' Reus slips a pass between two defenders to pick out Gnabry's run into the box. The forward struggles to bring it under control though and the goalkeeper helps see it out of play.
2' Germany have been keeping possession well in the opening couple of minutes and Kehrer cuts the ball back to Kimmich on the edge of the box. He takes his shot first time, but it's straight at the keeper who makes a comfortable save.
1' Gnabry gets the game underway for Germany!
The teams are out on the field now, with kick-off just moments away.
Germany have won their last 13 European Qualifiers (World Cup and European Championships), equalling their longest such winning streak (2010-12).
Martin Reim makes three changes to the team that lost to Northern Ireland in their last qualifier as Kams, Tamm and Puri all come into the starting line-up. Kait, Sappinen and Sinyavskiy all get a start on the bench.
Marcus Sorg makes just two changes to the side that beat Belarus last time out, bringing in Kehrer and Goretzka. They replace Klostermann and Tah who both drop down to the bench.
ESTONIA SUBS: Henrik Ojamaa, Mihkel Aksalu, Ken Kallaste, Mattias Kait, Vlasiy Sinyavskiy, Martin Miller, Mark Oliver Roosnupp, Rauno Sappinen, Vladislav Kreida, Erik Sorga, Marten Kuusk.
ESTONIA STARTING XI (5-4-1): Sergei Lepmets; Gert Kams, Madis Vihmann, Taijo Teniste, Karol Mets, Artur Pikk; Sander Puri, Artjom Dmitrijev, Joonas Tamm, Konstantin Vassiljev; Sergei Zenjov.
GERMANY SUBS: Sven Ulreich, Jonathan Tah, Kai Havertz, Julian Brandt, Timo Werner, Marcel Halstenberg, Jonas Hector, Lukas Klostermann, Julian Draxler, Niklas Stark, Kevin Trapp.
GERMANY STARTING XI (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; Thilo Kehrer, Matthias Ginter, Niklas Sule, Nico Schulz; Joshua Kimmich, Ilkay Gundogan; Marco Reus, Leon Goretzka, Leroy Sane; Serge Gnabry.
Germany have won both of their European Championship qualifiers so far after beating Netherlands and Belarus and currently sit second in Group C, but they do have a game in hand over the leaders Northern Ireland. They are still without their manager Joachim Low today though as he was recently hospitalised. Estonia are in a very different position at the start of this match. They sit in fourth, having lost to Northern Ireland in both of their qualifiers in the campaign so far and they know that they need to start getting results soon if they want to qualify for the Euros for the first time in their history.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Euro 2020 qualifier between Germany and Estonia at the Opel Arena!
