Commentary

Well, that's all from me for now. It has been a pleasure to bring you the Serie A action from the Stadio Matusa, where it has finished Frosinone 2-4 AC Milan. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
A somewhat laboured performance from Milan, then, who have moved back up to seventh with that victory, while the defeat leaves Frosinone deep in trouble in the relegation places going into the winter break.
FULL-TIME! Alex clatters into Ciofani, but despite the Frosinone claims for a penalty, the referee simply shakes his head and blows the final whistle.
R. Montolivo
Assist
Milan
Assist Riccardo Montolivo
G. Bonaventura
Goal
Milan
GOOOOOAAAALLLL!!! Brilliant play from Milan, as Bonaventura - who has been excellent throughout - latches onto a throughball before drilling home his fifth of the campaign with a composed finish into the roof of the net. Game over!
D. Ciofani
Yellow Card
Frosinone
A yellow card now for one of Frosinone's goalscorers, as Ciofani goes into the book for descent.
S. Longo
M. Ciofani
Frosinone
A third and final substitution now for the hosts, as Matteo Ciofani makes way for Samuele Longo.
A. Poli
C. Bacca
Milan
A change now for Milan as we enter stoppage time, with Bacca making way for Andrea Poli.
GOOD EFFORT! Honda powers forward and lays it off to Bertolacci. The midfielder drives to the edge of the area before trying his luck with a dipping strike, but Leali is equal to it.
VITAL BLOCK! Honda drives inside from the right, leaving two Frosinone defenders in his wake. He decides to go for goal with a powerful left-footed strike, but Blanchard sticks out a leg and deflects it wide. Good defending!
CLOSE! Montolivo, who has improved since the interval, drives forward at speed before attempting to catch Leali out with a low drive towards the far post, but it drifts wide.
D. Pavlovic
Assist
Frosinone
Much like Niang's earlier assist for Alex's goal, Pavlovic simply put the ball into a dangerous area, and Dionisi did the rest thanks to poor Milan defending.
F. Dionisi
Goal
Frosinone
GOOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL!!! FROSINONE PULL ONE BACK! Well, out of nowhere, the hosts are right back in this. Pavlovic curls in a free-kick from the left, and Dionisi takes advantage of sloppy Milan defending to head home his fifth goal of the season, setting us up for a grandstand finish at the Stadio Matusa!
More decent defending from Diakite, who stewards Bacca away from goal. Milan come right back at their hosts, however, with Honda teeing up the aforementioned Colombian, whose strike is collected at the second-attempt by Leali.
Luiz Adriano
M. Niang
Milan
A first substitution of the game now for Milan, as Niang makes way for Luiz Adriano, who has started just once since losing his place in the first-team back in October. Can he re-discover his scoring form with a goal in the last 10 minutes here?
M. Niang
Assist
Milan
It was a good delivery from Niang into a dangerous area, but that goal was purely down to the terrible marking from Frosinone.
Alex
Goal
Milan
GOOOOOOAAAALLLL! 3-1 TO MILAN! Game over now, surely, as Alex - unmarked and unchallenged in the area - meets Niang's cross on the edge of the six-yard box and duly heads home, giving Leali no chance.
G. Donnarumma
Yellow Card
Milan
Yellow card Gianluigi Donnarumma
Milan rush down the other end, with Bacca leading the charge. He waits for Diakite to commit to a challenge, but there is nothing doing and the Colombia striker evntually goes for goal, but the former Sunderland defender gets the block in and Milan have to settle for the corner.
Frosinone have the chance to get a good cross in, as Bonaventura brings down M.Ciofani... But they are unable to make anythig of it and Milan get it clear.
R. Chibsah
M. Gori
Frosinone
Milan are in complete control at the moment, with Frosinone unable to apply any pressure to the visitors' defence. There's another change now from the hosts, with Yussif Chibsah replacing Mirko Gori.
Blanchard is perhaps lucky to escape a second yellow card as he brings down Niang. The French youngster whips in the resulting free-kick, which evades the grasp of Leali, but Romagnoli is unable to tap into an empty net.
D. Pavlovic
Yellow Card
Frosinone
Yet another booking now, as Pavlovic dives in on Honda and catches him from behind. There can be no complaints there from the Frosinone full-back, though his manager Stellone does not agree with the decision, and the referee has to call him over for a brief explanation.
CHANCE! Another opportunity goes amiss for the visitors. Bonaventura is again the architecht as he moves centrally and slides a lovely pass into the path of Niang, who can only blaze his effort high and wide from close range. A really poor miss from the youngster, who could have celebrated his brithday-weekend in style, there.
L. Paganini
A. Tonev
Frosinone
A first change of the game now, as Stellone brings off Aleksandar Tonev - who appears to be carrying an injury - and introduces Luca Paganini in his place.
PENALTY!? NO... That's a big call from the referee, as Bonaventura takes a tumble after M.Ciofani had lunged in on him. The former Atalanta winger is convinced that it should be a spot kick, but the official waves away his appeals.
F. Dionisi
Yellow Card
Frosinone
A yellow card now for Dionisi, as he barges into Romagnoli in the Milan area. An ongoing battle between those two, it seems.
A. Romagnoli
Yellow Card
Milan
More controversy now, as Romagnoli receives a yellow card for tugging back Dionisi. The Frosinone forward did eventually wriggle his way free of the youngster's grasp, but the official had already blown for a free-kick.
SAVE! Frosinone win a free-kick deep in Milan's territory, which Tonev blasts goalwards. His strike is deflected, but Donnarumma gets down well to make the stop.
D. Soddimo
Yellow Card
Frosinone
Another booking now for Frosinone, as Soddimo gets a yellow card for arguing with the officials following that goal.
G. Bonaventura
Assist
Milan
It was brave work from Bonaventura, who has looked lively all game and has capped his performance with an assist. His effort was destined to trickle into the net anyway, but Bacca made sure it did.
C. Bacca
Goal
Milan
GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!! MILAN TAKE THE LEAD A real mess from Frosinone's defence, as the unmarked Bertolacci flicks a header into the path of Bonavnetura. The winger prods an effort goalwards under pressure from Leali, and Bacca is on hand to fire it into the roof of the net. What a turn-around!
GREAT CHANCE! Frosinone are all over the place, at the moment. Blanchard loses out to Honda, who lays it into the path of the onrushing Bacca, but the Milan striker is unable to hit the target.
K. Honda
Assist
Milan
Honda has struggled to make much of an impact in this game from a berth out on the left flank, but he showed all his qualities there. He drifted in to a central role, and teed up Abate with a well-timed throughball.
I. Abate
Goal
Milan
GOOOOOAAAALLLL!!! MILAN ARE LEVEL! The visitors have come out strong after the interval, and it has not taken them long to restore parity. Honda makes amends for his miss a few moments ago with a neat pass into the path of Abate, who side-foots a powerful low finish past Leali. 1-1!
M. Niang
Yellow Card
Milan
A first booking of the game for a Milan player, now, as Niang receives a yellow card for kicking the ball away after he conceded a free-kick for handball. Petulant.
CHANCE! Wonderful combination play from Bertolacci and Honda sees the latter being played in on goal. He has just Leali to beat, but he somehow drags his effort wide from close-range. Dreadful miss.
SO CLOSE! What a strike from Tonev! The former Aston Villa and Celtic forward drifts inside from the right. Llifting his head and seeing no real options ahead of him, he goes for goal with a superb effort that flies just a foot wide of the left-hand upright. Unlucky!
SECOND-HALF! Frosinone, in all yellow, get proceedings back up and running.
The slender advantage is nothing more than Frosinone deserve. Milan have seen most of the ball, but much of their play has been in front of the hosts' defence, though Leali was forced into a fine double save to deny Bonaventura and Bacca. Mihajlovic will be demanding much more from his players in the second half.
HALF-TIME! And that's it for the first half, with the referee blowing his whistle as soon as the ball flies over the crossbar. It has been a terrific display from Frosinone so far, who are 1-0 up thanks to D.Ciofani's strike.
MISS! Bonaventura steps up to take it, to the annoyance of his teammate Honda. He lifts a curling strike over the wall, but it sails a yard over the frame of the goal.
A. Tonev
Yellow Card
Frosinone
A really good opportunity on the stroke of half time for Milan, now, as Tonev goes into the book for a late challenge on Bertolacci on the edge of Frosinone's area. Honda and Bonaventura stand over the free-kick...
Chances at both ends! Tonev drives in another low cross towards Ciofani, who elects to take a touch rather than go for goal with a first-time effort and the opportunity is gone. Milan counter through Montolivo, who finds Bonaventura. The diminutive winger twists and turns in the area before going for goal with a powerful left-footed strike that Leali prevents from nestling in the far corner.
More scrapping and arguments at the corner results in another delay. The officials eventually restore order, and Honda curls in a pacey cross. Niang rises to meet it, but Leali does well to bravely punch the ball clear - taking an elbow in the face from Niang for his troubles.
Milan again make in-roads down the left wing, but again they are unable to cause Frosinone's disciplined defence any real problems. Montolivo eventually goes for goal from 20-yards-out, and his strike loops away off of Diakite for a corner...
It's getting scrappy now, as Bonaventura petulantly kicks the ball out of play following the call for the corner to be re-taken. The Milan midfielder escapes a booking, to the disdain of Soddimo, who barages the referee. He is eventually calmed down by his teammates, and play is resumed.
Better play from Milan, as Bacca drives in-field from the right. He fails to pick out his strike-partner with the pass, but the rebound falls to Bonaventura. The winger elects to go for goal first-time, but his strike is deflected wide. Honda attempts to go short from the resulting corner, but play is brought back as the ball was not in the quadrant.
Honda fails to pick up a loose ball in midfield, but is prevented from surging forward by Montolivo. The former Fiorentina playmaker attempts to set Milan free on the counter with a searching cross-field ball towards Bacca, but it is under-hit and Frosinone are able to regain possession.
Niang almost manages to jink his way through on goal, but Blanchard comes across with another timely interception. Ciofani challenges with Alex at the other end as Frosinone lodge another long-ball deep into Milan territory, and the former Chelsea defender just wins out.
CLOSE! Milan again work it forward patiently, but are unable to carve a way through Frosinone's packed defence. Montolivo eventually takes hold of the ball on the edge of the area, but his low drive flashes just wide of the left-hand post.
A good tackle from Diakite prevents Niang powering in on goal, though a strike would not have counted anyway given that the Milan forward used his hand to control the ball in the build-up. Frosinone go long from the free-kick, and Soddimo wins a corner down the left. The delivery is over-hit, but Tonev gets in another cross from the opposite flank, which Alex just manages to get away with a headed clearance.
Neat, patient play from Milan now, as they maintain territory in Frosinone's half. Honda eventually lofts a cross in to Bacca, but his lay-off is intercepted before it reaches Bertolacci. Frosinone counter, but the visitors win it back swiftly and again make their way forward - with Abate's cross being parried away from danger by Leali.
Bonaventura and De Sciglio combine well down the left, resulting in a corner to Milan. Honda delivers, but Blanchard is on hand to head it away under little pressure.
Milan launch an immediate attack from the restart, but play is brought back after Niang fouls Blanchard. The away side have struggled to impose themselves on proceedings so far, and Frosinone's lead far from flatters them.
D. Ciofani
Goal
Frosinone
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!! 1-0 TO FROSINONE! Dreadful defending from Milan, as they are undone by two simple passes. Leali rolls it out to Dionisi, who drives forward unchallenged before feeding Ciofani, and the striker makes no mistake with a composed finish under Donnarumma.
F. Dionisi
Assist
Frosinone
It really was terrible defending from Milan for that goal, and Dionisi will not get many chances to provide an easier assist. The forward juanted past the visitors' midfield, before slotting a throughball in-between Alex and Romagnoli to his strike partner.
That mistake seems to have panicked Donnarumma slightly, as he parries down Gori's shot into a dangerous area, but no Frosinone attacker can apply a finish. Milan counter through Niang, who picks out Honda, but the Japan midfielder - who is making his first Serie A start since September - is unable to get a delivery into the area.
Risky play from Donnarumma, who perhaps shows his inexperience there with a bizarre decision to charge out and try and meet Bonaventura's loose back-pass. Dionisi beats him too it, but Alex recovers in time to prevent the shot. Lucky escape for the Milan youngster!
CLOSE! Pavlovic whips in a left-footed strike to the near post from the resulting set-piece, but it sails just over the crossbar. Frosinone waste no time in launching another attack, however, and Ciofani forces Donnarumma into another fine save, but the move is brought back for offside.
It has been an entertaining start to proceedings, with both sides showing heaps of attacking intent, and both goalkeepers having to make equaly good saves to keep the scores level. And Frosinone have another chance now, as Soddimo is fouled by Bertolacci on the edge of Milan's area...
GREAT DOUBLE SAVE!!! What a chance for Milan, as Honda drops in a cross from the right. Bonaventura takes it down, but is unable to get a shot away. Niang can do so, however, but his effort is parried up by Frosinone's 'keeper Leali. Bacca gets onto the rebound, powering a header goalwards, but the Juventus loanee reacts superbly to prevent Milan taking the lead with an instinctive stop.
SAVE! Frosinone go close from the resulting counter attack, as Dionisi bursts into the area and goes for goal with a venomous left-footed strike that is destined for the top corner, but Milan's 16-year-old goalkeeper Donnarumma reacts sharply to tip it over the bar.
Milan work it forward patiently, with Montolivo dictating the tempo from a central midfield berth, It eventually gets worked wide to De Sciglio, who fires it into Niang. The youngster combines with Bacca, but his touch lets him down and the chance goes amiss.
A fast start from Frosinone. Bonaventura is robbed of possession and the hosts counter at pace. Dionisi - their top-scorer so far this term with four goals - holds it up on the edge of the area before seeing his goal-bound strike blocked. The rebound falls to his strike-partner D.Ciofani, who shirks off Alex, but his effort is blocked away by Romagnolii.
KICK-OFF! Milan, donning their famous black and red striped kit, get proceedings under way at a lively Stadio Matusa, attacking from right to left in this first half.
Though Milan may have struggled to get the victories required to see them rise back to the pinnacle of Serie A so far this campaign, one player that has shone for Mihajlovic's side is Carlos Bacca. The Colombia forward has hit eight goals in all competitions since his arrival at the San Siro from Sevilla - and returned to scoring ways last weekend against Verona. He partners M'Baye Niang, who turned 21 yesterday, up top for the visitors today.

While Milan were held to a 1-1 draw by Verona at the San Siro last time out, Frosinone were on the end of a 4-1 thumping from Palermo. However, Stellone sticks with the majority of the side that started that defeat, making just two changes as Luca Paganini is replaced by Aleksander Tonev and Aleandro Rosi makes way for Matteo Ciofani. Their more ilustrious visitors also make two changes. Luiz Adriano drops to the bench, with Keisuke Honda coming in on the right side of a four-man midfield, while the suspended Nigel De Jong is replaced by Andrea Bertolacci.
Though Frosinone have conceded at least two goals in each of their last six matches, it will be no easy task to overcome them on home soil, with Roberto Stellone’s side having earned 13 of their 14 Serie A points at the Stadio Matusa, and a victory for the hosts this afternoon would lift them out of the relegation zone in time for Christmas.
Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Milan side have managed just one win from their last five Serie A encounters - a run that has seen them drop seven points off the Champions League places in seventh place. Today’s trip to 18th-placed Frosinone provides them with a perfect opportunity to head into the winter break with a victory, though they have only managed draws against fellow strugglers Carpi and Verona in the past two matches.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the first-ever Serie A clash between Frosinone and AC Milan! Stay right here for all the action as it happens from the Stadio Matusa.
