Allianz Riviera

That's all for today, goodbye!
So, Sweden finish their tournament on a high by earning their third Women's World Cup bronze medal. England just miss out on a second consecutive third-place finish but can take a lot of positives from this tournament.
Sweden get the bronze medal after beating England 2-1. Sweden capitalised on England's slow start to the game when Aslliani latched onto a poor clearance from Greenwood on the edge of the box and found the back of the net. Jakobsson then doubled their lead when she curled her effort around Telford and into the far post. England pulled one back through Kirby whose low curling effort beat Lindahl at her far post and they thought White had equalised minutes later but it was ruled out by VAR. England dominated the second half and Bronze had an effort cleared of the line in stoppage time but they just couldn't find the back of the net.
J. Moore
Yellow Card
90' + 4' Moore picks up a late yellow card after catching Seger on the halfway line.
90' + 3' Kirby puts a deep cross into the far post, trying to pick out Greenwood, but the left-back was caught on her heels and could only put the ball out of play with her first touch.
90' + 1' GREAT SAVE BY TELFORD! Zigiotti pulls away from Houghton on the edge of the box but slips as she goes to take her shot. She gets back up to hit her shot and the keeper makes a great diving save to keep her team in it late on.
90' OFF THE LINE! Sweden don't clear their lines from a corner and the ball bounces in front of Bronze. The right-back hits the shot on the volley and Fischer was in the right place on the goal line to head it away.
88' In a rare attack from Sweden, Jakobsson receives the ball on the edge of the box and aims a low shot towards goal. There wasn't a lot of power on the effort and it's comfortable save for Telford.
87' England are committing a lot of bodies forward in their attacks, but they're starting to look tired now and just can't find a way past the Swedish defenders.
H. Lindahl
Yellow Card
85' Lindahl receives the first yellow card of the game for time wasting.
R. Daly
A. McManus
83' Final roll of the dice from Neville as he brings on Daly in place of McManus.
81' GREAT CHANCE FOR WHITE! Taylor can't bring the ball down but manages to knock it into White's path. She hits her shot first time, but Fischer makes an important block to put it out of play.
80' England's final ball into the box has been letting them down a lot in the second half. They've been getting into some dangerous positions, but haven't been able to get in behind Sweden.
78' Sweden are more than happy to just sit back and close down the space ahead of England now as they continue to defend their lead.
76' Jakobsson is being given a lot of space down the right wing and she puts a brilliant cross into the middle of the box. She's looking for Blackstenius but Bronze makes an important interception.
K. Carney
N. Parris
74' The second change of the game for England sees Carney come on for her final England appearance. She replaces Parris.
A. Ilestedt
N. Björn
72' That is the end of the game for Bjorn and she's replaced by Ilestedt in Sweden's final change.
72' Kirby gets her head up once again and spots White waiting on the edge of the box. She tries to play her in on goal, but White is being tightly marked and can't turn her defender to reach it.
70' Bjorn is down on the edge of her box at the minute after a collision with her own player. The medical team are signalling to the bench though and she won't be able to carry on.
68' It's a brilliant pass from Greenwood to Kirby who was waiting by the byline and the forward reached it before the keeper. Nobody is in the middle to get on the end of her cross though and Sweden get it clear.
66' The ball was fizzed into Zigiotti on the edge of the box and she had to hit her shot first time as she was being closed down. It was straight down the middle of the target and it's a comfortable save for Telford.
65' Sweden are once again struggling to get out of their own half. They are getting chances to mount a counter-attack, but sloppy passes are letting them down at the minute.
63' Kirby is once again causing Sweden problems in midfield and she slips the ball through to Taylor this time. The substitute carries the ball into the box and hits the post with her shot, but she was miles offside and play is pulled back.
62' Greenwood whips a corner into the box for England and picks out Houghton at the near post. She doesn't make good contact with the ball though and it loops up onto the top of the net.
60' Sweden are staying patient in possession when they win it back as they slowly work their way upfield. They get it to Hurtig on the left wing, but her cross is poor and England get it clear.
58' Kirby has been the player making things happen for England today and she plays a one-two with Parris to get to the byline on the right. She squares the ball back into the six-yard box, but it's a comfortable save for Lindahl.
56' Hurtig turns away from her defender and sees Blackstenius making a run ahead of her. She tries to play in the forward, but her pass is intercepted by Bronze.
54' Both teams have been quite sloppy in possession so far in the second half and have been giving the ball away needlessly which is stopping them from getting into the final third and causing some problems.
52' Lindahl came out of her box to try and clear the ball away from Taylor but she misses. Fischer is marking the substitute tightly though and she keeps calm and reaches it first to touch it away from Taylor and onto Sembrant.
50' GOOD CHANCE FOR MOORE! The ball bounces out to Moore just outside the box and she takes a touch before hitting her shot. She couldn't find the target though and it flies wide of the post.
J. Taylor
B. Mead
50' First change of the game for England now and Taylor comes on in place of Mead.
48' England are pushing high up the field and into the final third, but their crosses into the box have been letting them down since the start of the second half.
46' Sweden get the game back underway for the second half!
J. Olme
K. Asllani
46' Sweden make their second change of the game at the start of the second half. Asllani, who opened the scoring, has gone off and Zigiotti is on in her place.
England grew in confidence during the first half and the momentum stayed with them after they had the goal disallowed as they continued to chase an equaliser. Neville will be happy with how his side reacted to going behind and will hope they can pick up where they left off. As for Sweden, Gerhardsson knows his side need to find a way back into this game if they want to stay in the lead as they weren't able to get out of their own half just before the break.
Sweden have the advantage in this play-off as they lead England 2-1. England made a slow start to the game and Sweden were able to capitalise on it. A poor clearance by Greenwood went straight to Asllani on the edge of the box who fired her shot over the line before Jakobsson got their second after she curled her effort around Telford. Kirby pulled one back for England after drifting into the box from the right and curling her shot into the far corner. White thought she'd equalised just two minutes later, but VAR ruled out her goal for a handball in the build-up.
45' + 6' GOOD CHANCE FOR WHITE! England quickly counter-attack and Parris plays a good throughball to White who pulls away from her defender to get one-on-one with Lindahl. She aims her shot low and the keeper gets a boot to it to deny her.
45' + 4' GREAT CHANCE FOR BLACKSTENIUS! The forward put Houghton under a lot of pressure to win the ball back and then tried to lob her effort over the out-rushing Telford. She couldn't get her angles right though and the ball landed on the roof of the net.
45' + 2' Mead is down receiving some treatment now after a fairly heavy collision with Sembrant. It looks like it was just an impact injury though and she should be able to carry on.
45' England have a chance to go on the counter again following Sweden's latest attack and Bronze tries to switch play out to Mead. As she brings it down, the ball strikes her arm though and the referee awards Sweden a free-kick.
43' Kirby's goal was her first at the World Cup since June 2015 (versus Mexico), ending a run of seven appearances in the competition without scoring.
41' Parris fizzes the ball into the box where four England players are waiting. It misses everyone though and Greenwood can't pick out any of them with her follow-up cross either.
39' Sweden haven't really been able to get on the ball in the last few minutes or so as the momentum has swung in England's favour. When they do win back possession, they're slow to move out and forcing them into making errors.
37' Sweden don't clear their lines from an England free-kick and it bounces back out to Kirby on the left. She puts a deep cross into the box, looking for Parris at the far post, but Lindahl stretches to collect it.
35' The referee has gone across to have a look at the monitor herself to have a look at the incident. In the slow-motion replays, it shows the ball bouncing off White's arm, but it doesn't look like she could've done much about it. The goal is disallowed though. Still 2-1 Sweden.
33' ENGLAND ARE LEVEL! It was a powerful cross into the box from Mead and White does really well to bring it down. She turns her defender before poking the ball past Lindahl and into the net. 2-2! VAR are having a look at it now though as there was a possible handball in the build-up.
J. Scott
31' It was a great throughball to Kirby from Scott and she played her pass quickly to catch out Sweden's defenders.
F. Kirby
31' KIRBY PULLS ONE BACK FOR ENGLAND! She times her run perfectly to stay on time and takes the ball around Sembrant before curling her low shot into the far bottom corner and Lindahl didn't even move on her line. 2-1!
30' England are starting to look a little more comfortable on the ball but they just haven't been able to get into any dangerous positions that will really trouble Sweden.
28' Some brilliant build-up play gets England into the box and Parris squares the ball back to Kirby on the penalty spot so she touches it onto Mead. Her first-time shot is cleared off the line, but she was offside so it wouldn't have counted anyway.
L. Hurtig
F. Rolfö
27' Rolfo isn't able to carry on after that injury and she has to go off and Hurtig is on in her place.
25' Rolfo is off the field and receiving some treatment which has been going on since Bronze's chance and it looks like she's in quite a bit of pain. Asllani has also just gone down after being caught in the eye, but it looks like she'll be able to carry on after some treatment.
23' GOOD CHANCE FOR BRONZE! She chested the ball down on the edge of the box and let it bounce before hitting her shot powerfully on goal. It looked like it was bouncing wide but Lindahl got a hand to it just to be safe.
S. Blackstenius
22' Blackstenius had a lot of time to pick her pass back to Jakobsson as she wasn't closed down by the England defenders.
S. Jakobsson
22' BRILLIANT FINISH BY JAKOBSSON! She plays a one-two with Blackstenius and drifts to the edge of the box when she gets the ball down. She wasn't closed down and curled her effort around Houghton and Telford into the back of the net. 2-0 Sweden!
20' Asllani has scored three goals at this World Cup; the most by a Swedish player in a single tournament since 2011 (List Dahlkvist also with three).
18' Glas whips a good cross into the box once again for Sweden and Asllani is running to get on the end of it. Bronze just sticks out a leg though and manages to clear the danger.
16' GREAT CHANCE FOR JAKOBSSON! A long ball over the top caught England out again and Jakobsson was one-on-one with Telford. She drives her shot on goal and the keeper palms it onto the post and it bounces onto her back before going out for a corner.
15' England are enjoying a good spell of possession now and are patiently moving the ball up the field to start their attack. Mead slips a square ball through to White, but she was just caught offside.
13' England just aren't able to get out of their own half at the minute as Sweden continue to push forward. They're having to commit more players back in defence to block the space ahead of their opponents.
K. Asllani
11' ASLLANI GIVES SWEDEN THE LEAD! Houghton is still of the field but England created their own problems there. It's a great cross into the box by Rolfo and Greenwood tries to clear it but only gets it as far as Asllani on the edge of the box. She takes a touch before hitting her off the post and over the line. 1-0 Sweden!
10' Houghton is down and receiving some treatment after she was sat on the field holding her right ear. It's not clear what the problem is, but she's back to her feet now and she'll be able to carry on.
8' Sweden are keeping possession well early on in the tie and are pushing forward with a lot of intent. This time it's Rolfo who puts a cross into the box from the left, but Bronze is at the near post to clear it.
6' England have been playing out from the back whenever they get the chance, but have been sloppily giving the ball away to Sweden and inviting pressure onto themselves.
4' Jakobsson has another chance to run at Greenwood down the right wing and pulls away slightly to put a cross into the box. The defender recovers really well though and times her challenge perfectly and wins a goal-kick.
2' Eriksson plays a brilliant pass to switch play out to Jakobsson on the edge of the box. She is being marked tightly by Greenwood, who deflects her shot out of play when she does hit it.
1' White gets the game underway for England!
The teams are out on the field now, with kick-off just moments away.
Sweden have won both of their previous third-place play-off games at the World Cup, beating Germany in 1991 and France in 2011.
Peter Gerhardsson makes just two changes to the team that lost the semi-final. Bjorn and Rolfo both come into the starting line-up in place of Rubensson and Hurtig, who drop down to the bench.
Phil Neville makes four changes to the side that lost to the US on Tuesday, bringing in Greenwood, Kirby, McManus and Moore. Stokes, Walsh and Daly all start on the bench, while Millie Bright is suspended after being sent off in that game. Carney announced she will be retiring after this match but will have to settle for a place on the bench.

Sweden, on the other hand, took Netherlands to extra-time in their semi-final but were beaten 1-0 by Lieke Martens' goal.
