Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
City have done what they needed to by winning and they'll be keeping an eye on United's game tomorrow as a loss for them will confirm their title win. It's a big week for them with the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against PSG. Palace stay 13th and are winless in four as they look to turn it around against Sheffield United next weekend.
Two quick-fire second-half goals see City beat Palace 2-0. It took City a while to grow into the game, and Jesus had a goal disallowed in the first half for offside. It was Aguero that broke the deadlock when he lifted his shot over Guaita from a tight angle. Just 83 seconds later, Torres had doubled their lead after Palace failed to clear their lines and he picked out the bottom corner.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-2 MANCHESTER CITY.
90' + 1' City are happy to just keep the ball in their half at the moment as the end of the match ticks closer. They're in no hurry to move upfield and Palace are dropping back and letting them keep it.
89' SAVE! Torres makes another driving run down the left before fizzing a low cross into Aguero at the near post. He has a go, despite the tight angle, and Guaita sticks out a leg to put it out for a corner.
87' Palace are keeping up the pressure on City as the game heads into its last few minutes. Ward and Schlupp link up well down the right before the full-back swings a cross into the middle, but it's cleared by Zinchenko.
85' Eze plays a wonderful throughball into Zaha as he cuts inside from the left, but his first touch is heavy. That allows Ake to get back and he puts it out for a corner just before Zaha can hit his shot.
83' CLOSE! Zinchenko touches it into Sterling on the edge of the box and he cuts inside, away from Ward, to open up space for a shot. He curls it towards the far post, but it's just wide of the target.
J. Ayew
A. Townsend
Crystal Palace
82' Final change for Palace now and it's Townsend that's making way for Ayew.
C. Kouyaté
Yellow Card
Crystal Palace
81' Kouyate steps across Sterling to stop his run and picks up a yellow card.
79' Aguero floats a lovely cross into Sterling in the middle, but he chooses not to hit it first time. That gives the Palace defenders the chance to get back and by the time he takes the shot, he's crowded off the ball.
77' City have scored 700 goals under Guardiola in all competitions - 157 more than the next Premier League club.
75' It's a great ball from Guaita to pick out Zaha down the left again and he carries it to the byline before drilling a dangerous cross into the six-yard box. He's looking for Mateta, but it's cut out by Laporte.
73' It's a quick break from City, with Torres leading it down the left. He's closed down by Mitchell so he chooses to pull it back for Cancelo, who is running onto it. He hits the shot first time, but it curls just over the far top corner.
71' Zaha breaks forward down the left for Palace before pulling the ball back for Mateta on the edge of the box. He's blocked off by Ake, so touches it onto Schlupp, but his low touch is straight at Ederson.
69' In the 15 Premier League games that Aguero and Jesus have started together for City, the two have scored a combined 26 goals (Aguero has 16 and Jesus has 10).
J. Mateta
C. Benteke
Crystal Palace
68' Both sides are making a change now and it's Palace first, who are bringing on Mateta to replace Benteke.
O. Zinchenko
Fernandinho
Manchester City
67' For City, it's Fernandinho that's making way, with Zinchenko on in his place.
66' Palace are still being penned back deep in their own half and they just can't break forward. Mitchell tries to pick out Zaha's run with a throughball, but it's cut out by Fernandinho and City are on the attack again.
64' BLOCK! Rodri heads on the corner and it's blocked by Kouyate but Jesus' pressure means that City keep it alive. He lifts it into Laporte and he heads it down, but Benteke throws himself in front of it to put it out for a corner.
62' OFF THE POST! Jesus squares it to Sterling and he drives forward into the box before having a go from a tight angle. Guaita is beaten at his near post, but the shot bounces back off the woodwork and Torres can't turn in the rebound.
61' City are dominating possession and Palace just can't get out of their own half. They're dropping deeper to try and block out City, but they just can't get a touch on the ball.
J. Schlupp
J. Riedewald
Crystal Palace
60' Palace are making the first change of the game and it's Riedewald that's making way for Schlupp.
Ferran Torres
Goal
Manchester City
59' TORRES SCORES! And just like that, it's 2-0! Palace are all over the place at the back and they just can't clear their lines. Torres latched onto the loose ball on the edge of the box and he drills his shot through the crowd and into the far bottom corner.
B. Mendy
Assist
Manchester City
57' Mendy isn't closed down by Palace and he has time to get his head up and pick out a cross into Aguero.
S. Agüero
Goal
Manchester City
57' AGUERO SCORES! He just drops back as he waits to get the ball from Mendy and he has time to take a touch before hitting the shot. It's a tight angle at the near post, but he lifts the shot over Guaita and into the back of the net. 1-0 City!
55' This is the longest City have waited for a shot on target in a Premier League game this season (previously the 49th minute v Liverpool in February).
53' Torres times his run perfectly to stay onside when Fernandinho plays the ball over the top to him and he has time to bring it down before looping a cross towards the far post. He's looking for Jesus but Dann heads it out for a corner just ahead of him.
51' City are moving the ball upfield much quicker than before now and Sterling finds himself in a lot of space down the left. He tries to pick out Aguero with his cross but overhits it and Guaita comes off his line to collect it.
L. Milivojević
Yellow Card
Crystal Palace
49' Milivojevic caught Rodri earlier on in City's attack but the referee played an advantage. He goes back to it when play is stopped and shows him the first yellow card of the game.
48' City have seen a lot of the ball in the opening minutes of the half, but Palace are breaking forward quickly on the counter now. Townsend switches it out to Zaha on the left and he tries to tee up Eze, but he slips and the chance is gone.
46' City get us back underway for the second half!
City's decision making in the final third let them down in the first half and Guardiola won't be happy with what he saw. They've barely troubled Guaita and he will want that to change. As for Palace, they've looked dangerous when they have got into City's box and Hodgson will be hoping for more of the same after the break.
It's goalless at the break between Palace and City. It's been a game of few clear cut chances so far, with Palace having the better of them. Benteke came the closest when he had a go from close range, but Ederson smothered it at the near post. Jesus did have the ball in the back of the net at the other end but was denied by the offside flag and the visitors didn't manage a shot on target.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 MANCHESTER CITY.
45' Townsend wins the ball back off Mendy and switches play out to Zaha on the left when he spots him in space. He sets himself for a cross but ends up hitting it against Ake.
43' Townsend wins a free-kick on the left which gives him the chance to swing a cross into the box. Nobody makes a run to the far post though and Ederson is able to come out to collect it.
41' Cancelo chips the ball over Eze to pick out Torres and he drills a dangerous cross into the six-yard box. Jesus is running onto it through the middle, but Guaita does just enough to put him off at the near post.
39' Palace go for the direct approach as Guaita goes long with his goal-kick and Riedewald nods it down for Eze on the edge of the box. He drills his shot across goal but sends it wide of the far post.
38' Sterling's control lets him down but Aguero latches onto the ball and touches it out to Torres before continuing his run into the box. He gets the return pass and goes for goal despite the tight angle and curls his shot into the side netting.
36' OFFSIDE! Aguero's shot is blocked but City manage to keep hold of it and Fernandinho curls a cross into the middle. Jesus is there and he drills his shot over Guaita into the back of the net only for the offside flag to deny him.
34' City take a quick free-kick in midfield which gives Aguero lots of space to run into. He lays it off to Sterling before continuing into the box, but the winger can't keep hold of it long enough to swing in a cross.
32' Mendy does brilliantly to wrongfoot Ward and keep the ball in play before switching it out to Cancelo on the right. He has Aguero and Jesus to aim for in the box but can't pick them out as Dann heads his cross away.
30' Eze's free-kick is knocked back across goal by Dann at the far post and Benteke holds off Ake to chest it down. There's no space for him or Zaha to have a shot so he tees up Riedewald, but he sends it flying high over the bar.
28' GOOD SAVE! Townsend squeezes the ball through to Ward and his cross causes City some problems. Rodri cuts it out but touches it towards goal where Laporte fails to clear it and Benteke turns to fire a shot at the near post, which Ederson smothers.
26' Milivojevic turns away from Rodri in midfield and plays a good throughball forward for Zaha to chase. He brings it down and sets himself to whip in a cross just as the offside flag goes up against him.
24' Fernandinho plays another good throughball into Jesus and he sweeps it out to Sterling on the left. His first touch lets him down again though and he can't keep hold of it.
22' Rodri manages to squeeze the ball through to Aguero on the left of the box and he pulls it back for Jesus. He goes for goal first time, but there's no power on the shot and Dann is there to cut it out again.
20' Fernandinho swings an early cross into the box from the right and Mendy manages to nod it back across goal from the far post. It's played behind Aguero though and Dann is there to clear his lines.
18' CHANCE! It's a great ball over the top from Cancelo to pick out Sterling's run into the box and he manages to weave his way past Palace's defenders. He sets himself for the shot and Mitchell makes an important tackle to stop him from getting it away.
16' Palace have everyone back in their own half and they're making it difficult for City to get in behind them. Torres holds onto the ball for a long time before trying to pick out Aguero's run, but plays the pass straight to Kouyate.
14' Fernandinho steps in to win it off Eze in midfield and they work it out to Sterling on the left. He cuts inside before having a shot, but it's a wild effort from him that flies high and wide of the target.
12' Aguero holds off Milivojevic to win the ball back and drives towards the box. He had space to shoot but chose to lay it off to Torres instead. He slips when it reaches him and gives away a free-kick when he handles it.
10' CHANCE! Palace break quickly on the counter and Townsend floats a cross into the far post from the right. Benteke rises higher than Fernandinho, but can't get it on target and glances his header wide.
8' Ward's cross into Zaha is cut out by Cancelo, but he can only head it as far as Eze, who lays it off to Riedewald. He fires a shot on goal first time which Laporte blocks and City eventually manage to get it to safety.
6' Ward intercepts the throughball into Aguero and lays it off to Townsend who breaks on the counter. He's trying to hold off Mendy as he drives forward, but the left-back eventually outmuscles him to win it back.
4' Sterling wins a free-kick on the right and Cancelo swings a deep cross into the box looking for Rodri at the far post. He almost has a free header but Ward just does enough to get back and glance it away from the midfielder.
2' Kouyate goes long with his clearance and it ends up being a good ball for Benteke to knock down for Eze down the left. He tries to pick out Zaha ahead of him, but City quickly get back to close him down.
1' Eze gets the game underway for Palace!
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away.
Palace have won just two of their 23 Premier League games against sides at the top of the table (D4 L17), with both of those victories coming against Chelsea (March 2014 and April 2017). The Eagles lost their last such match 7-0 at home to Liverpool in December.
It's clear that Pep Guardiola has one eye on the semi-final with PSG on Tuesday as he makes eight changes to the side that started in the first leg. Only Ederson, Cancelo and Rodri retain their places, and Aguero and Jesus are both brought in to start up front.
Roy Hodgson makes two changes to the side that lost to Leicester City on Monday as he brings Mitchell and Townsend into the starting line-up. Van Aanholt and Ayew both drop to the bench.
MANCHESTER CITY SUBS: Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez, Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Phil Foden, Zack Steffen, Ilkay Gundogan, Ruben Dias.
MANCHESTER CITY STARTING XI (4-4-1-1): Ederson; Joao Cancelo, Aymeric Laporte, Nathan Ake, Benjamin Mendy; Ferran Torres, Fernandinho, Rodrigo, Raheem Sterling; Sergio Aguero; Gabriel Jesus.
CRYSTAL PALACE SUBS: Jeffrey Schlupp, Michy Batshuayi, Gary Cahill, Martin Kelly, Jordan Ayew, Jean-Philippe Mateta, James McCarthy, Jack Butland, Patrick van Aanholt.
CRYSTAL PALACE STARTING XI (4-3-3): Vicente Guaita; Joel Ward, Cheikhou Kouyate, Scott Dann, Tyrick Mitchell; Jairo Riedewald, Luka Milivojevic, Eberechi Eze; Andros Townsend, Christian Benteke, Wilfried Zaha.
This is the weekend that City could be crowned as Premier League champions if they win today and Manchester United lose to Liverpool tomorrow. They've won their last three on the bounce, which included them lifting the EFL Cup after beating Tottenham and a win over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final last time out. They face a Palace side that have won just one of their last seven matches, failing to win in any of their previous three (D1 L2).
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Crystal Palace and Manchester City at Selhurst Park!
