However, the visitors then switched off again to hand Chelsea control. It's going to take a spirited comeback from Wolves to get back into the contest in the second period.
Chelsea take a 2-0 lead into the break in their Premier League clash against Wolves at Stamford Bridge. It took time for the game to come to life, but Mount's free-kick provided a spark. Chelsea are unbeaten in all five of their Premier League home games against Wolves (W4 D1), last losing against them in the top-flight at Stamford Bridge in March 1979 (1-2).
Nuno makes three changes to his side that beat Crystal Palace last time out. Saiss comes into the backline, while Dendoncker pushes forward. Moutinho drops to the bench as a result of the switch. Traore and Podence drop to the bench as Jota and Neto get the starts alongside Jimenez in the final third.
Lampard takes the decision to drop Kepa for the final game of the season. Caballero replaces the Spaniard between the sticks in one of two changes. The other sees Pulisic get the start from the off as he comes into the fold for Willian, who misses out due to injury.
WOLVES SUBS: Bruno Jordao, Daniel Podence, Morgan Gibbs-White, John Ruddy, Joao Moutinho, Ruben Vinagre, Adama Traore, Maximilian Kilman, Oskar Buur.
WOLVES (3-4-3): Rui Patricio; Willy Boly, Conor Coady, Romain Saiss; Matt Doherty, Leander Dendoncker, Ruben Neves, Jonny; Pedro Neto, Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota.
CHELSEA SUBS: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Andreas Christensen, Ross Barkley, Tammy Abraham, Pedro, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Fikayo Tomori, Emerson.

Wolves are in position for a Europa League spot next season, although Tottenham are only point behind them. Nuno Espirito Santo's men have enjoyed another strong campaign, but need a fine performance to defeat the Blues to fend off their rivals. They're unbeaten in their last three matches, but they were beaten handily by Chelsea in their match earlier this season. The visitors will have to be at their best.
Chelsea can secure their place in the Champions League next season with a win or a draw this afternoon. The Blues could still even finish in the top four with a defeat, although it would put them at the mercy of Leicester City's result against Manchester United. Frank Lampard's men were beaten by Liverpool in midweek, conceding five goals in the process. Christian Pulisic dragged his team back into the contest, but it was not enough to save the Blues. Lampard will be looking for a response today.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
