Well, that’s all we have time for. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
With Sarri having been sent off, there are now unsavoury scenes on the touchline, with Antonio Rudiger – who did not feature today – seemingly involved in a scuffle with a member of Burnley’s coaching staff.
A frustrating game for Chelsea comes to an end, as Burnley hold firm amid relentless pressure to claim a point which all but guarantees their safety. The Blues, meanwhile, have missed out on a great chance to put themselves ahead in the race for the top four. It was a resilient display from Burnley, who took the lead through Hendrick’s early volley. Kante and Higuain cancelled out that advantage, but Barnes struck back, with Dyche’s side withstanding plenty of second-half pressure in order to claim a deserved point.
90' + 5' Now Sarri is sent to the stands! After encroaching from his technical area on one too many occasions, Chelsea’s manager receives his marching orders.
M. Kovačić
Yellow Card
90' + 4' That’s silly from Kovacic. The Chelsea midfielder reacts badly after Azpilicueta conceded a foul, and receives a booking.
90' + 3' Much to Sarri’s displeasure, another Burnley player is down suffering from cramp. This time, Westwood does not require any further treatment, but it does serve to wind down the clock and frustrate Chelsea even more.
Yellow Card
90' + 2' A booking now for Pedro, who cynically stopped a Burnley counter by purposely handling in the middle of the park.
90' + 1' We are into the first of five minutes added time, and still Chelsea pile forward. And still, Burnley’s defence remains steadfast.
90' Play continues, with Heaton hoofing it upfield, where Barnes wins a free-kick after a foul from Christensen. McNeil is back on the pitch, having recovered from his knock.
88' Much to Chelsea’s frustration, there has been another stoppage. This time it is McNeil who has to get some medical attention.
87' Burnley’s striker is back into the fray, and play continues. Three minutes of normal time remain.
86' Barnes is down again, this time with cramp. He receives some treatment, and so has to go off the pitch.
85' Still, the relentless pressure on Burnley’s goal continues. Hazard displays a moment of inspiration with a clever bit of skill to cross the ball into Giroud, who can’t quite take the ball down.
82' CLOSE! Chelsea go down the right this time, with Kovacic picking out Loftus-Cheek with a brilliant cross. He knocks it back across goal, but Giroud was caught on his heels, and Burnley’s defence are able to clear their lines.
80' Hazard toys with Burnley’s defence down the left, but the visitors remain in shape. After exchanging passes with Jorginho, Hazard floats in a cross, but Mee is there to head it clear.
79' Chelsea are flooding forward, with Christensen and David Luiz with pushed up to the edge of Burnley’s box. It means that the Clarets’ third is extremely congested, but somehow Hazard still finds a way through down the left flank, but his low cross does not trouble Heaton.
O. Giroud
G. Higuaín
77' Chelsea have made their third and final change. Higuain, who scored a fantastic goal in the first half, has made way for Giroud.
76' Chelsea seem to be running out patience, now, as Luiz elects to go for goal from around 30 yards out. His effort has plenty of power and dip, but Heaton is able to make an easy stop.
74' Barnes’ injury was nothing serious and, after the play is restarted, he is soon allowed back onto the field. Chelsea have possession, and the game swiftly returns to a pattern of attack v defence, as has been the case for much of the second half.
72' Another break in play, now, as Barnes receives treatment for a knock.
71' Chelsea win a corner, which Hazard delivers. Heaton, though, is off his line quickly to take it in, collapsing on the ball to kill any momentum, much to the Blues’ fans’ chagrin.
69' Cork does well to break down a Chelsea move and hook a long ball forward, with Wood managing to hold the play up and get Burnley on the attack. Jorginho, though, robs Westwood of possession, starting a counter.
67' CLOSE! A bit of pinball in the area, after Azpilicueta tests Heaton. Burnley’s defence manage to switch back on in time to clear the danger, though.
64' McNeil finally gets himself into a promising position down the left, and delivers a fantastic cross to Kepa’s near post. Chelsea’s goalkeeper is out quickly to claim it, though has to do so under pressure from Wood, and the Spaniard very nearly drops the ball.
62' Chelsea have lost just one of their last 20 home league games, 1-0 against Leicester City in December. No side has conceded fewer home goals in the Premier League this term than the Blues.
60' Compared to the frantic pace of the first half, Chelsea are enjoying a bit more of a stable spell of possession now. A steady move works its way to Hazard, who again steps things up a gear with a blistering run, and Burnley’s defence can only force the ball out for a corner.
57' Having received some quick treatment from the Burnley medical staff, Tarkowski is back on. Chelsea forge a promising attack down the right, but Mee cuts out Pedro’s cross before it reaches Higuain.
55' Another stoppage for an injury, but this time it is a Burnley player who is in need of treatment. Tarkowski is down.
53' Wood should have done better there! Burnley won the ball back high upfield, Cork beating Jorginho to a loose touch. Wood picks up the scraps and drives into the box, but he can’t adjust his feet in order to get a shot off, allowing Azpilicueta to recover. Chelsea counter, only for Kovacic to drill a shot over from 25 yards out.
51' CLOSE! Hazard cuts in from the left and sends a crisp pass across to Pedro, who sets himself before sliding a low cross into Higuain, who had escaped his marker. His first-time effort is a good one, but Heaton is equal to it.
49' Wonderful from Hazard, who turns on the afterburners to skip past Hendrick before laying it off to Emerson, who had made a good supporting run. The full-back lofts a cross towards the back post, but gets too much power on it, and the ball trickles out for a Burnley throw.
48' Chelsea have only lost one of their 20 Premier League matches played on a Monday at Stamford Bridge – a 2-3 defeat to Manchester United on Boxing Day in 1994 under manager Glenn Hoddle.
46' Chelsea get the second half up and running.
M. Kovačić
N. Kanté
46' There has been a change by Chelsea at half-time. Kante, who scored their first goal, has been replaced by Kovacic. The France midfielder sustained an injury in the first half.
The end of the first half was punctuated by an injury to Hudson-Odoi, who could not continue. Chelsea have been excellent going forward, but defensively Sarri’s side have been abysmal, and the former Napoli boss must look to solidify things at the back if the Blues are to claim the points. Burnley, meanwhile, must get McNeil more involved in their play, with the youngster having been on the fringes so far.
An enthralling, entertaining first half comes to a close, with the scores level at 2-2. Burnley took the lead against the run of play, but Hendrick’s volley was soon cancelled out by Kante, with Higuain putting Chelsea ahead two minutes later. But the visitors were back on terms 10 minutes after that, when Barnes prodded in following a well-worked free-kick.
45' + 1' There will be a minimum of three minutes added time.
43' While Hudson-Odoi has only just made his way from the far side of the pitch back to the tunnel, one positive for Chelsea is that Loftus-Cheek appears to have shrugged off his earlier issues as we approach half-time.
C. Hudson-Odoi
41' Having completed his quick warm up, Pedro is now on in place of the stricken Hudson-Odoi.
41' Play has continued now, but Hudson-Odoi’s race seems to be run. He has had to be helped off the pitch, and is hobbling badly.
40' To make matters more complicated for Chelsea, it looks as though Loftus-Cheek is also struggling with a knock. Barkley and Kovacic have joined Pedro on the sideline.
39' Hudson-Odoi is now back down on the turf, and the physios are coming on. Sarri appears to have instructed Pedro to start warming up, and it does not look positive for the teenager.
37' A bit of a concern for Hudson-Odoi, as he goes down after seeming to slip while controlling the ball. He is quickly back to his feet, and hasn’t yet required treatment, though he does not appear to be moving freely.
35' Good work from Hudson-Odoi down the right, as the youngster drives to the byline before cutting back inside and curling one to the near post. Heaton, though, was well-placed to collect it.
T. Heaton
Yellow Card
32' A first booking of the game has been awarded Heaton's way, with Burnley's goalkeeper seeing yellow for time wasting. There has been just over half-an-hour played...
30' Almost another! Higuain pounces on a loose ball on the edge of Burnley’s box, and wastes no time in unleashing a snapshot that, for a moment, looks set to be heading for the top-left corner. It sails just wide, though.
28' Sarri will no doubt be furious with his defence. Chelsea’s attackers have looked rampant, but this back line conceded three goals at home to Slavia Prague on Thursday, and again have been found wanting so far today.
26' Barnes has now scored 11 Premier League goals this season, the joint-most by a Burnley player in a single campaign in the competition.
C. Wood
24' It was a well-worked set-piece routine by Burnley, with Mee peeling off and getting the ball into Wood, who did well to knock it onto his strike partner Barnes. Chelsea's marking, though, left a lot to be desired.
A. Barnes
24' GOAL! BURNLEY ARE LEVEL! It’s 2-2, as this extraordinary game continues to unravel at Stamford Bridge. Dreadful Chelsea defending from a set-piece allows Mee to head a ball back across goal, with Wood helping it into the path of Barnes, who stabs in from point-blank range.
22' With his assist for Kante's equaliser, Hazard has now set up 13 goals in the Premier League in 2018-19.
20' CLOSE! Loftus-Cheek is a player in form right now, and the England midfielder tries his luck with a curling effort from 20 yards out. Fortunately for Heaton, who was stranded on his line, the ball soared just over the bar.
18' Chelsea have won six of their nine Premier League matches against Burnley (D2 L1), though they did lose this exact fixture last season (2-3).
16' Well, after that whirlwind six minutes, it’s advantage Chelsea. Maybe this one will settle down, now, though it looks like Sarri’s side are determined to put the contest to bed sooner rather than later.
14' Higuain did well to muscle his way into the area, but the move would not have worked had Azpilicueta not had the awareness to flick the ball back into the former Real Madrid striker's path.
G. Higuaín
14' GOAL! HIGUAIN MAKES IT 2-1! Well, we had an incredible start between Manchester City and Tottenham in the Champions League last week, with four goals in the first 12 minutes, and these teams are almost keeping up with that epic clash. Chelsea have the lead, with Higuain having bundled his way through, combining with Azpilicueta before hammering past Heaton.
E. Hazard
12' Hazard has been in sensational form this season, and that assist was just another example of his quality. He had the Burnley defence at his mercy, and picked the perfect pass back to Kante.
N. Kanté
12' KANTE DRAWS CHELSEA LEVEL! It’s 1-1 now, and just a moment after I stated Chelsea looked to have lost their earlier impetus, Hazard comes up with a bit of magic to tee up their equaliser. The Belgian twisted and turned his way away from his marker before laying back a neat pass, and Kante was there waiting to send a rasping strike into the roof of the net.
11' Chelsea started brilliantly, but for all their pressure, they will now have to come from behind. Suddenly, the Blues are lacking the crisp passing and assured touches they were showing in the opening minutes, and Burnley are able to get a bit of a foothold in midfield.
10' That goal from Hendrick is the 1000th time Chelsea have conceded in the Premier League. They are the ninth club in the competition to reach that figure.
J. Hendrick
8' WHAT. A. GOAL! Against the run of play, it is 1-0 to Burnley, courtesy of a fantastic volley by Hendrick. Chelsea only managed to clear a corner to the edge of the box, and Hendrick was there, unmarked, to thump it back at goal, giving Kepa no chance.
7' OFF THE LINE! Superb, slick play from Chelsea, as Hazard lifts a precise pass into Huguain’s path. The Argentine does well to get there and prod an effort over Heaton, but Mee is on hand to hook the ball clear just as it was about to float over the line.
5' Chelsea have not let the pressure drop, with Hazard drifting all over the pitch in order to pull the strings and draw Burnley’s defence out of position. A neat move culminates in Hudson-Odoi racing onto a looped pass, but Mee did well to shrug the youngster off.
3' CHANCE! A positive start from Chelsea results in Azpilicueta winning a corner, which Hazard delivers. His cross is cleared, but the Belgian picks up the loose ball and hammers an effort goalwards. Heaton cannot hold on, but Burnley's defence manage to scramble it clear.
1' Referee Kevin Friend sounds his whistle, and Burnley's Westwood gets the game up and running!
The teams are out onto the pitch at Stamford Bridge, and we’re just moments away from kick-off in what could be a pivotal game in Chelsea’s bid to qualify for the Champions League.
No changes from Dyche, whose side have won their last three league outings. Young winger McNeil has been in fine form during that run, and it will be interesting to see how he matches up with Chelsea prodigy Hudson-Odoi. The teenager will be looking to feed in-form strike duo Wood and Barnes, who lead the line.
BURNLEY SUBS: Joe Hart, Kevin Long, Ben Gibson, Robbie Brady, Johann Gudmundsson, Stephen Ward, Matej Vydra.
BURNLEY (4-4-2): Tom Heaton; Matthew Lowton, James Tarkowski, Ben Mee, Charlie Taylor; Jeff Hendrick, Jack Cork, Ashley Westwood, Dwight McNeil; Chris Wood, Ashley Barnes.
The big news for Chelsea is that Hazard, who went off injured in the Europa League win over Slavia Prague, has been passed fit to start in west London. Sarri has made four changes to the XI that started on Thursday, with Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi and Higuain coming in.
CHELSEA SUBS: Davide Zappacosta, Olivier Giroud, Pedro, Mateo Kovacic, Gary Cahill, Willy Caballero, Ross Barkley.
CHELSEA (4-3-3): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, David Luiz, Emerson; N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Ruben Loftus-Cheek; Callum Hudson-Odoi, Gonzalo Higuain, Eden Hazard.
Burnley, meanwhile, would all but guarantee their safety with a victory today. Mathematically, the Clarets could still be dragged into the bottom three, but after a worrying first half of the campaign, Sean Dyche’s side look likely to finish safely in mid-table.
With Manchester United and Arsenal having both lost on Sunday, the impetus is now with Maurizio Sarri’s side to steal a march in the top-four race. A win today would take them above the Gunners and Tottenham into third place.
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of this today's only Premier League fixture, as Chelsea welcome Burnley to Stamford Bridge.
