UEFA Europa League Qualifiers

Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. That's all from us, until next time, goodbye!
Manchester United look to continue their renaissance as they host struggling Huddersfield Town next, while Cardiff face an important trip to Selhurst Park as they play Crystal Palace.
And there goes the final whistle! Solskjaer secures an emphatic win on his return to Wales in his first game in charge of Manchester United. Rashford, Herrera, Martial and a Lingard double put Cardiff to the sword, Camarasa scoring a penalty for the hosts. The Red Devils looked like a team freed from its shackles as the players who looked so uninspired less than a week ago were able to express themselves. It finishes 5-1 to United!
90' + 1' This is the first time Manchester United have scored five goals in a Premier League game since Alex Ferguson's final game in charge - a 5-5 draw with West Brom.
P. Pogba
90' Pogba's pass was perfectly-weighted and allowed Lingard to get to the ball ahead of Etheridge while giving him enough space to beat Morrison across the ground.
J. Lingard
90' GOAL!! Lingard makes it 5-1!! Pogba slides it through for Lingard and he beats Morrison for pace, rounds Etheridge and rolls it into an empty net! That caps off an emphatic performance from United.
M. Fellaini
N. Matić
87' Matic also comes off for Fellaini in the dying minutes of the game.
Andreas Pereira
A. Martial
87' Martial is replaced by Pereira, who will support Lingard, now leading the line.
85' A neat move down the left just fails to produce a shooting opportunity as Pogba's pass inside is cut out. United have stepped their intensity up a notch again after easing off significantly in this second half.
J. Ralls
A. Gunnarsson
83' Gunnarsson, on a booking, is replaced by Ralls as a matter of precaution for Warnock. The midfielder hasn't had a good day.
81' Harris makes a clever run in behind the defence as a free-kick comes in, but Paterson nicks it away from him instead of letting it run!
M. Rashford
79' Rashford makes way for summer signing Fred as Solskjaer looks to see out the remainder of the game. Martial will take Rashford's place up front as Fred creates a diamond in midfield.
G. Cunningham
Yellow Card
79' Cunningham scythes Rashford down as he sprints away on the counter and earns a deserved yellow card.
76' SAVE! Etheridge punts the ball downfield for Zohore, who nods it forward and thumps a low effort into De Gea at the near post, earning his side a corner. Zohore's first touch just narrowed the angle too much for himself.
K. Harris
J. Hoilett
74' Harris replaces Hoilett on the right of midfield as Warnock freshens his team up.
74' MISS! Bamba gets above Jones to direct a header at goal from a free-kick, but he can only power it into the side-netting!
71' SAVE! Jones, of all people, connects with the corner on the volley and steers a firm effort goalwards, but it's fairly central and Etheridge isn't overly troubled by it, hanging on well.
70' SAVE! Pogba hits a fierce, curling strike from distance that nearly evades Etheridge's dive, but he gets a hand on it to tip it over!
69' MISS! Paterson meets a free-kick in a great position, but heads well over the bar when he really should have done better. De Gea has hardly been tested.
67' The game has lost a little of its spark in the last couple of minutes. Cardiff have had more of the ball but haven't really been able to open United up.
65' SAVE! Murphy curls a shot through the crowd and De Gea sees it late, but reacts sharply to beat it away from the bottom corner! Great save!
63' MISS! What a miss! Lindelof slips Rashford in behind and the striker races through and hits a low shot across the advancing goalkeeper, but fractionally wide of the far post! It appeared to take the slightest nick off of Etheridge, but a goal-kick is given!
62' MISS! Herrera latches onto the half-cleared corner and tries a spectacular volley, but drags it tamely wide.
K. Zohorè
H. Arter
61' Arter is replaced by Zohore as Warnock shifts to a 4-4-2.
61' BLOCK! Martial skips inside from the left but his touch gets away from him and it's nicked away as far as Shaw, who tries his luck and earns his side a corner.
60' Young scampers down the right and tries to divert a cross into the middle, but he can only find the grateful arms of Etheridge.
A. Gunnarsson
Yellow Card
58' Lingard skips away from Gunnarsson, who holds him back and receives a yellow card for an accumulation of fouls.
J. Lingard
Penalty Goal
57' GOAL!! Lingard makes no mistake and sends Etheridge the wrong way, opening his body up and placing the ball to the goalkeeper's left. It's 4-1 and United are in cruise control now.
55' PENALTY! Lingard jinks his way into the box and is tugged back by a desperate Bamba, and the referee points to the spot for the second time in this game! United have the chance to extend their lead even further!
54' BLOCK! Pogba receives the ball in the inside-left channel on the edge of the area and is urged to shoot by the travelling support. He needs no second invitation and has a pop, but it's charged down quickly.
52' CHANCE! Pogba plays a lovely no-look pass down the right for the onrushing Rashford, who is just eased out of the way as Etheridge rushes out to smother.
50' SAVE! Bamba wins the ball from Rashford but gives it away cheaply, allowing Martial to feed the striker again, and his low drive across goal is just nicked behind for a corner.
48' Cardiff are pressing much higher so far in the second half, but De Gea plays out of trouble well with some well-weighted passes.
46' We're back underway for the second half!
Rashford opened the scoring after just three minutes from a free-kick before Herrera's deflected strike from range doubled their advantage. Rashford's handball in the box allowed Cardiff to halve the deficit through Camarasa from the penalty spot, but a lovely, flowing move saw Martial restore their two-goal advantage just two minutes later.
And there goes the half-time whistle! United lead 3-1 at the break in Solskjaer's first game in charge. The visitors are playing like a team unshackled and look confident going forward, finding their way past Cardiff's resistance with ease. Rashford, Herrera and Martial struck for United while Camarasa pulled one back from the penalty spot.
45' + 2' The end of the first half is marred by a succession of fouls as Cardiff look to break up the rhythm of the game.
45' MISS! Pogba tries for the spectacular as he swings a boot at the ball outside the box, but he slices his effort horribly high and wide.
43' Cardiff try to break down their left but to no avail as it's comfortably cleared. It's given away cheaply, however, and Gunnarsson tries to feed Murphy, but he's caught offside.
J. Lingard
41' The front three have interchanged freely today and Lingard drifted into the centre to combine with Martial, who had shifted to the inside-right channel. It was a lovely passage of passing that led to the goal.
A. Martial
41' GOAL!!! MARTIAL MAKES IT 3-1 TO UNITED! What a lovely goal this is. Martial plays some intricate one-touch stuff with Lingard and is released into the box before coolly slotting into the far corner! United's two-goal cushion is restored!
40' United have conceded more Premier League goals this season (30) than they did in the whole of 2017-18 (28). Only Fulham (1) have kept fewer clean sheets than the Red Devils this season (2)
39' SAVE! Martial works a yard of space and feeds Lingard, who strikes the ball goalwards, but it's a comfortable, solid take for Etheridge.
Penalty Goal
38' GOAL!! CARDIFF MAKE IT 2-1! Camarasa converts emphatically, powering the ball into the top-left corner despite De Gea going the right way. The hosts have a lifeline!
37' PENALTY! Rashford controls the ball with his arm inside the box, the linesman flags and the referee points to the spot! Cardiff have a penalty!
L. Shaw
Yellow Card
35' Herrera's attempted volley deflects to the edge of the box where Shaw tries to nick it away from Murphy, but catches him on the ankle and receives a yellow card for his troubles.
33' United play it in intricate triangles down the left, eventually releasing Shaw, but his touch is heavy and allows the ball to be cleared.
31' Cardiff win a corner as they look for a way back into the match, but it comes to nothing. This game is in danger of getting away from the Bluebirds.
P. Pogba
29' Pogba danced inside from the left into the middle and showed good vision and technique to find Herrera in space.
Ander Herrera
29' GOAL!! IT'S 2-0 TO UNITED! De Gea punts a long ball that is nodded on to Pogba, who switches the play to Herrera on the right. The Spaniard is some considerable distance out, but he hits a ferocious strike that takes a wicked deflection and swerves into the top corner!
26' United nearly play themselves into trouble at the back as Cardiff press, but Arter clips Herrera's heels and gives away a foul.
24' Gunnarsson, who bundled Pogba over for the free-kick that led to the goal, gives away another cheap foul on Rashford, but the ball is turned behind by Bamba with Pogba lurking.
22' Lindelof makes a bursting run from centre-half, looking to get on the end of a one-two inside the box and just falling short.
21' BLOCK! Martial is fed inside the box and cuts back from the left to slip the ball into Rashford, but his shot is charged down on the penalty spot.
19' Pogba sells Martial a little short with his pass and Shaw then bundles Hoilett over as he looks to break quickly down the flank.
17' Matic slips as he tries to switch play to the right wing and the ball sails straight out of play.
16' Eventually, both return to their feet and are allowed to return to the field as play resumes.
13' Gunnarsson lofts a long throw into the box and it's cleared, but Shaw and Paterson clash heads from the follow-up cross and play is stopped so both can receive treatment.
11' Martial skips away from Manga down the left and earns his side a corner. There's a conviction about United that has rarely been seen so far this season.
9' United have control of the ball as Cardiff drop into their low block. There will be an onus on Matic and the centre-backs to create from deep today for the visitors.
7' MISS! Cardiff get a free-kick of their own in a fairly central area about 25 yards or so from goal, but Murphy's strike lacks conviction and it sails over the bar.
5' United look confident going forward, and Cardiff are struggling to come to terms with their fast start.
M. Rashford
3' GOAL!!! MANCHESTER UNITED SCORE! What a start to Solskjaer's reign! Pogba dummies a free-kick on the edge of the box, fooling Etheridge into committing to his right while Rashford hit a bullet of a strike into the opposite corner! United lead 1-0!
1' Cardiff get the game underway!
United have lost their last three Premier League away games against promoted sides, as many as they had in their previous 36 such matches (W27 D6 L3) - something that Solskjaer will be expected to rectify immediately.
The history makes for pleasant reading for United fans - the Red Devils are unbeaten in each of their previous seven matches against Cardiff in league competition (W5 D2), while Cardiff have won only one of their last 12 league matches against Manchester United (D3 L8), winning 3-0 in November 1960.
Solskjaer returns to the side he failed to keep in the top flight in the 2013-14 season for the first time in charge of a United side that have won just one of their last six Premier League games (D3 L2). Cardiff are strong at home, having won four of their last five here in the league (L1).
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes four changes as he names his first Manchester United starting line-up since taking over from Jose Mourinho as caretaker boss. Dalot and Bailly drop to the bench, while Darmian and Lukaku miss out, the latter reportedly on compassionate leave. Pogba, Martial, Shaw and Jones replace them in the side. Alexis Sanchez and Chris Smalling are both out.
Neil Warnock makes one enforced change from the side that lost to Watford last time out, with left-back Joe Bennett is still injured, so Cunningham steps in to fill the gap. Jazz Richards fails to make the bench as he recovers from a hamstring problem.
Manchester United substitutes: Fred, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Eric Bailly, Sergio Romero, Diogo Dalot, Marouane Fellaini
Manchester United XI (4-3-3): David De Gea; Ashley Young, Phil Jones, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw; Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba; Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial

Cardiff City XI (4-1-4-1): Neil Etheridge; Bruno Ecuele Manga, Sean Morrison, Sol Bamba, Greg Cunningham; Aron Gunnarsson; Josh Murphy, Harry Arter, Víctor Camarasa, David Junior Hoilett; Callum Paterson
