Commentary

That is all for today's live text coverage. Thanks for joining, goodbye!
Sarri's side have now won just two of their last seven matches, falling to defeat in three of those. With the title already in the bag, Juventus host Roma on the final day of the season, while Cagliari - previously winless in eight games - travel to Milan.
Juventus fall to a 2-0 defeat against Cagliari in their first game since being crowned champions. Gagliano converted from close range and Simeone scored from further out to give the hosts a two-goal half-time lead that they did well to protect, with Juve showing a lack of cutting edge in the final third.
90' + 6' FULL-TIME: CAGLIARI 2-0 JUVENTUS
90' + 5' GREAT EFFORT! Zanimacchia must be about 35 yards out but that does not stop him putting his foot through the ball. It swerves through the air and Cragno makes the save, before quickly reacting to get to the loose ball.
90' + 3' This latest Juventus corner causes a little bit of panic in the Cagliari penalty area. It drops inside the six-yard box before being thumped clear. There are just two more minutes to go.
90' + 1' Cragno pounces on a low cross to eat up some more seconds. Cagliari appear to be over the line.
90' Five minutes have been added on at the end of the match at the Sardegna Arena.
89' Cagliari are continuing to deal with every ball that comes into the box. Ronaldo has had 10 shots today, eight of which have been blocked.
G. Pereiro
João Pedro
88' Pedro can be happy with the shift he has put in today. The striker is off with two minutes of normal time to play and Pereiro on in his place.
M. Olivieri
G. Higuaín
88' Higuain, who has offered very little up top today, makes way for another youngster in Olivieri.
87' A rare attacking move from the hosts ends with Pedro's shot swerving into the stands. Sarri is about to make another change...
86' SHOT! Cagliari are inviting Juventus to take on shots from distance, this latest one from Alex Sandro ending right down the throat of Cragno. This has been a poor display from the champions.
V. Birsa
G. Simeone
84' Simeone, the scorer of Cagliari's second goal, is replaced by Birsa late on.
84' Bernardeschi sends a shot spinning wide of the target from 20 yards after being teed up by Zanimacchia.
83' Cagliari are entirely happy to just sit back and soak up the pressure. They were looking to counter early in the second period but they are not even doing that anymore.
81' SAVE! Juventus keep on coming but they are creating very little in terms of chances. Ronaldo is forced down the line but still gets an angled shot on target that Cragno keeps out with his legs.
79' Bernardeschi's cross from the right goes over everybody in the box and straight out for a goal-kick, pretty much summing up how things have gone for Juventus today.
78' After plenty of build-up, Ronaldo picks out the wall from the free-kick. Juventus do win another corner, but once again it comes to little. Cagliari will happily take another 15 minutes of this.
D. Peeters
R. Bentancur
76' Bentancur is off and Peeters brought on in his place. If nothing else, Sarri has been able to give some youngsters a run-out today.
75' Another Juventus corner is successfully defended by Cagliari. There could be further danger, though, as Lykogiannis has conceded a free-kick in shooting range with a needless foul on Zanimacchia.
74' Only SPAL (two) have collected fewer points than Cagliari (four) since the start of July in Serie A.
73' It is time for the second cooling break of the match. Juventus still trail by two goals with less than a quarter of the game to play.
71' NEARLY 3-0! Simeone latches onto a loose ball and his first shot is charged down by Bonucci. He is then first to the rebound but slices the attempt off target from a good position.
69' Ronaldo's shot-to-nothing is dealt with by Cragno. Juve are throwing bodies forward but there is a lack of any real quality in the final third, coinciding with the absence of Dybala and a few other regulars.
67' Ronaldo is cutting a frustrated figure out there now as a cross from the right is badly overhit.
66' Juventus have already equalled their tally of three on-target attempts from the first half in this second period. Cagliari are doing well to disrupt play and time is fast running out for the visitors to find the two goals - or more - that they are after.
João Pedro
Yellow Card
64' This match is getting a little feisty now. Pedro, at full stretch, catches Cuadrado on the shin and is shown a yellow card.
63' Rugani goes in hard on Paloschi and the Cagliari substitute is in some pain. He takes 30 seconds or so to catch his breath and is okay to continue.
L. Zanimacchia
M. Pjanić
61' Pjanic, in his final league outing for Juventus, is replaced by Zanimacchia.
B. Matuidi
S. Muratore
61' Sarri makes a double change with an hour played. Matuidi is on for Muratore in the first of the substitutions.
61' Ronaldo dummies a shot and then cuts inside on his left before unleashing a powerful drive that is closed down 22 yards out.
60' Pedro is sandwiched by a couple of Juventus players and wins a free-kick for his side, helping to relieve some of the growing pressure.
59' It is all Juventus now. Muratore crosses from the left and Bernardeschi guides a header high over the bar from 12 yards. Not an easy one, granted, but he should be doing better.
57' This is the first time Juventus have conceded two goals during a first half of a Serie A game since August 2017 (v Genoa).
55' CRAGNO MAKES ANOTHER SAVE! This time to deny Alex Sandro at the near post with a header that was heading for the top-right corner. Juventus are starting to increase the pressure as they seek a route back into the match.
54' TIPPED OVER! Muratore unleashes a powerful shot down the middle from 22 yards. Cragno watches the ball all the way and helps it over the crossbar.
53' Pedro drills wide at the end of a swift counter, an avenue the hosts are clearing going to focus on in this second half. Buffon then produces a good stop but the offside flag had already gone up.
51' Ronaldo has limited options down the right so plays it to Bernardeschi on the opposite flank. He cuts inside but his long-ranger is blocked before it reaches the target.
49' The visitors are desperately attempting to find some rhythm early in this second half but Cagliari, who now have an extra midfielder on the pitch, are standing firm at the back.
A. Paloschi
M. Rog
47' Rog is unable to shake off an injury problem and is replaced by Paloschi early in the second half.
46' RESTART! Juventus, trailing to first-half strikes from Gagliano and Simeone, get us back under way in their final away outing of the Serie A campaign.
C. Lykogiannis
L. Gagliano
46' Cagliari have made a half-time substitution, with Lykogiannis on for goalscorer Gagliano.
Sarri will be disappointing with his side's first-half display. The visitors created some decent chances and would have been level if not for some good Cragno saves, but they were twice caught out at the other end and now have it all to do in the second half.
Cagliari lead champions Juventus 2-0 at half-time. Gagliano profited from some sloppy defending to give the hosts an early lead and Simeone scored a second in added time with an impressive strike from 25 yards, which Buffon perhaps could have done better to save.
45' + 5' HALF-TIME: CAGLIARI 2-0 JUVENTUS
45' + 4' NEARLY 2-1! Ronaldo leaves this latest free-kick to Pjanic and the playmaker is not far wide at all, the ball dipping no more than a yard wide of the target with Cragno getting nowhere near it.
L. Gagliano
Assist
45' + 2' Gagliano is credited with the assist but this goal was all about the quality of Simeone's strike.
G. Simeone
Goal
45' + 2' GOOOOAAAAALLLL!!! CAGLIARI 2-0 JUVENTUS! Moments after wasting a couple of good chances to level up, the champions find themselves two goals behind - and what a goal it is! Bonucci does not close down Simeone and the striker unleashes a superb shot past Buffon from 25 yards.
45' Three minutes have been added on at the end of the first half.
44' GOOD SAVE! Alex Sandro's cross is just out of Ronaldo's reach. Bernardeschi picks the ball up on the right, feeds it to Bentancur and his shot is kept out by Cragno. Juve come again and Ronaldo blazes over from a promising position.
42' Bernardeschi absolutely thumps the ball into the back of Rog. Juve keep the attack alive but Ronaldo cannot control the ball when it is floated in his direction at the back post.
40' CUADRADO COMES CLOSE! Cagliari are looking to slow the tempo of the game now following a period of Juve pressure. The visitors win the ball back and Cuadrado's scuffed shot bounces just wide of the far post.
38' CHANCE! A corner makes its way to Higuain near the back post and he throws himself at it. It is an awkward one and he is unable to keep the acrobatic volley on target.
36' Cagliari's players swarm around Bernardeschi and Klavan gives a free-kick away. Ronaldo wins the right to take it on - as he so often does - but he can only pick out the opposition wall.
34' It is end-to-end stuff here as Simeone nearly charges through at one end, moments before Bentancur's shot is blocked up the other. Juve are growing more and more into the game.
32' WIDE! Cragno can only half-clear the corner with his punch and it drops for Bonucci to strike on the volley. The effort flies a good couple of yards wide of the target.
31' Juventus pass the ball around in the final third but Cagliari are forming a solid shape across the back. Ronaldo takes matters into his own hands by drilling an angled shot towards goal, with the ball looping wide of the far post for a corner.
29' Ceppitelli does well to intercept the ball, preventing Ronaldo from inevitably converting from six yards out. Play resumes following the first cooling break of a pretty lively contest.
27' Over the past eight seasons, Juventus have never lost a game in the round after winning the Scudetto (W6 D2). That record is now under threat.
25' SARRI BOOKED! Juve head coach Sarri is shown a yellow card by referee Davide Ghersini for protesting the decision to book Pjanic.
M. Pjanić
Yellow Card
24' Pjanic joins opposite number Roj in the referee's book for a challenge on Pedro. He will now miss Juve's next game, which was due to be his last in Serie A before joining Barcelona.
23' Six shots on target in the opening quarter of the game - it has been a lively start to the match at the Sardegna Arena. Juventus has had two of those on-target attempts but are nowhere near full flow at the moment, with Ronaldo - his offside goal aside - not really getting involved.
21' Possession has been split near enough down the middle so far. There has been little between the sides but Cagliari hold a one-goal lead thanks to Gagliano's close-range finish after eight minutes.
19' ANOTHER SAVE! Ionita wins the ball back for Cagliari and feeds it to Pedro on his left. Pedro becomes the latest player to test Buffon with a low shot from range, which the Juve legend makes no mistake in keeping out.
M. Rog
Yellow Card
17' Bentancur is caught by Rog and the Cagliari midfielder becomes the first player to be shown a yellow card today.
16' GOAL DISALLOWED! Bernardeschi pokes the ball through for Ronaldo and the superstar forward helps it on its way past Cragno, but he is clearly offside and the flag soon goes up.
14' Juventus are penned in at the moment. The hosts win a corner and it is sent into a good position, but the headed attempt from Walukiewicz is off target.
12' GOOD EFFORT! Mattiello makes good contact with a volley that Buffon is equal to down low. Cagliari look well up for this game as they go in search of a second goal against the champions.
10' Cagliari captain Ceppitelli gets a vital touch to a cross to prevent Ronaldo from heading in from a few yards out. Juventus are looking to quickly hit back following that early setback.
F. Mattiello
Assist
8' Mattiello will perhaps wonder how Farago's cross made it as far as him near the back post. The wing-back spotted Gagliano in front of goal and his team-mate did the rest.
L. Gagliano
Goal
8' GOOOOAAAAALLLL!!! CAGLIARI 1-0 JUVENTUS!! The champions are behind inside eight minutes! Cuadrado and Rugani fail to cut out a right-sided cross and, once it is played back into the middle by Mattiello, Gagliano sticks out a leg to turn it in from six yards.
7' Higuain is slipped in down the right and, despite the angle being against him, tries to catch out Cragno with an early shot. The Cagliari keeper makes the save and the offside flag went up anyway.
6' Pedro horribly overhits a cross from deep and Buffon gathers with both hands. It has been a pretty even opening seven minutes or so to the contest at the Sardegna Arena.
5' SHOT! Ronaldo drives forward but has a sea of bodies in front of him so shifts the ball to Muratore. The full debutant hits it first time and Cragno, like Buffon a couple of minutes ago, has a comfortable save to make.
3' SAVE! Gagliano works room for a shot just outside the box and tests Buffon with a low attempt. It is a routine save for the veteran keeper, who is filling in for Szczesny today.
2' Bernardeschi's whipped cross from the right is well dealt with by Cragno. Juventus have seen plenty of the ball in the early stages of the game.
1' KICK-OFF! Cagliari get us up and running against nine-in-a-row champions Juventus.
Both sets of players are making their way down the tunnel at the Sardegna Arena and kick-off is now moments away. This game will be played behind closed doors, which has been the case in every Serie A fixture since last month's restart.
Juventus are unbeaten in their last 18 Serie A meetings with Cagliari, winning 15 of those. Indeed, today's hosts have only beaten Juve 11 times in their previous 77 encounters, most recently going down 4-0 in January's reverse fixture.
Juventus have made six changes on the back of their title-clinching win over Sampdoria three days ago, including an enforced change up top as the injured Paulo Dybala is replaced by Higuain. Muratore is handed a full debut in midfield, while Rugani, Bentancur, Bernardeschi and veteran goalkeeper Buffon are all recalled.
Zenga has made five changes to Cagliari's starting XI from the 1-0 loss to Udinese at the weekend. Nahitan Nandez misses out through suspension and is replaced in midfield by Farago, while Gagliano returns up top. There are also recalls for Walukiewicz, Mattiello and Rog.
Subs: Wesley, Carlo Pinsoglio, Daouda Peeters, Gianluca Frabotta, Blaise Matuidi, Wojciech Szczesny, Merih Demiral, Luca Coccolo, Marco Olivieri, Giacomo Vrioni, Luca Zanimacchia.
JUVENTUS XI (4-3-3): Gianluigi Buffon (c); Juan Cuadrado, Leonardo Bonucci, Daniele Rugani, Alex Sandro; Rodrigo Bentancur, Miralem Pjanic, Simone Muratore; Federico Bernardeschi, Gonzalo Higuain, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Subs: Rafael, Riccardo Ladinetti, Andrea Carboni, Daniele Ragatzu, Federico Marigosu, Alberto Paloschi, Charalampos Lykogiannis, Valter Birsa, Isaias Del Pupo, Fabio Pisacane, Alessandro Lombardi, Gaston Pereiro.
CAGLIARI XI (3-5-2): Alessio Cragno; Sebastian Walukiewicz, Luca Ceppitelli (c), Ragnar Klavan; Paolo Farago, Marko Rog, Artur Ionita, Luca Gagliano, Federico Mattiello; Giovanni Simeone, Joao Pedro.
Cagliari enter this game winless in eight matches and have suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Lazio and Udinese. Walter Zenga's side started the day in 14th place, 10 points clear of the relegation zone and four points off the top half, leaving them jostling for position in mid-table.
Juventus beat Sampdoria 2-0 on Sunday to seal top spot and a ninth successive Scudetto triumph. Maurizio Sarri's men will be looking to pick up successive victories in their two remaining league games ahead of next week's Champions League last-16 second leg against Lyon.
Hello and welcome to our live text coverage of the Serie A clash between Cagliari and Juventus at the Sardegna Arena.
