Commentary

Thanks for joining us tonight folks. Goodbye for now!
Burnley welcome West Brom to Turf Moor this weekend, while Fulham will tackle Sheffield United at Craven Cottage in what is a mammoth tie at the wrong end of the table.
While Fulham move a point closer to safety, they stay eight points behind Burnley. Parker's side have certainly showed they will be tough to break down on the road, but they must start stringing some wins together in the coming weeks if they are to survive. Burnley were not at their best but with injury problems, they showed enough quality to grab a point.
Barnes' miss proves crucial as the referee brings the game to a close. Luckily for Burnley, the forward had already scored earlier in the match, and his effort cancelled out Aina's strike. After a disappointing 45 minutes, the game burst into life thanks to Aina's goal, only for Barnes to equalise within minutes. Both teams pushed and went looking for the winner, but it was not to be, and the points are shared.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME - BURNLEY 1-1 FULHAM.
90' + 2' CLOSE!!!! Barnes is inches away from heading home, but it remains 1-1 and Burnley may not get a better chance to score. Dyche's side won a corner, with McNeil forcing Areola to come off his line. The keeper's touch was weak, and Barnes pounced at the far post. Somehow, the striker has fired wide, but the goal was gaping after Areola's error.
90' Three minutes of stoppage time to come at Turf Moor!
88' WIDE!!! Fulham push forward yet again, but Lookman shoots wide of Pope's far post. Maja was the architect, but he could only watch on as his team-mate fired into the stands.
85' Lookman wastes an excellent opportunity to test Pope, even though the keeper makes a save. The Fulham winger attacked a cross at the far post but got his legs in a tangle, meaning his shot went straight into the air. Pope, under no pressure, then just shuffled his feet, and took control of the situation.
82' Now Tarkowski hits the deck, and he claims Maja has caught him with an elbow. It is safe to say Maja is putting himself about.
80' Long goes down, holding his face after colliding with Maja off the ball. After a short delay, he looks OK to continue, but for a minute there it looked worrying.
A. Robinson
K. Tete
78' Parker makes a change at the back as Robinson replaces Tete.
77' LOFTUS-CHEEK!! Fulham push forward but fail to test Pope after Loftus-Cheek's header flies past the far post. Cavaleiro's cross was begging to be attacked, but Loftus-Cheek seemed more worried about a Burnley defender than the ball. As a result, he could only get a faint touch on the ball, and it will now be a goal-kick to the home side.
73' The subs seem to have benefitted Fulham more than Burnley so far!
72' Maybe it is more common than we thought...Brady is the only player in the Premier League this season to be subbed on and off in two separate games.
71' MAJA! The Fulham striker has been quiet so far this evening, but he forces a save out of Pope. Burnley's defence sat off him and allowed him the chance to turn and shoot. Maja took the opportunity, but Pope always had it covered.
68' Brownhill has slotted in on the right of Burnley's midfield. Brady did not have his best game this evening, and Brownhill now has a chance to impress ahead of the weekend. If Gudmundsson's injury is serious, Dyche may need to rethink his tactics on that side of the pitch.
Ivan Cavaleiro
B. De Cordova-Reid
67' Cordova-Reid's night is over and on comes Cavaleiro.
J. Brownhill
R. Brady
64' Here's something you do not see every day. Brady, who came on as a sub in the first half, has now been replaced by Brownhill.
63' Burnley are on top at present but with fulham making changes, that could soon change with just over 20 minutes remaining.
A. Zambo Anguissa
M. Lemina
61' Parker makes a change in midfield as Anguissa replaces Lemina.
59' OVER THE BAR! Burnley go close for the second time in a minute, but Brady heads over the crossbar at the back post. The winger was unmarked but still didn't set himself correctly and it remains 1-1.
58' SAVE!!! Areola keeps it at 1-1 thanks to a fine save with his legs. Rodriguez was the man that tried his luck, but Areola dealt with the danger superbly!
57' Burnley have now conceded the first goal of the game in each of their last five Premier League matches at Turf Moor.
55' So, after a pretty sluggish first 45 minutes, we now have two goals inside the first 10 minutes of the second half. Let's hope for more of the same.
J. Rodriguez
Assist
52' While he did not manage to score himself, Rodriguez deserves plenty of praise for that pass. It was not easy, and he had to aim it around the Fulham defence.
A. Barnes
Goal
52' GOAAAALLLL!!! BURNLEY 1-1 FULHAM - Burnley fire back at the earliest opportunity and it is Barnes that draws them level. Fulham allowed Rodriguez to sneak down the right wing and he played a beautiful ball across the face of goal. Fulham's defence were outnumbered and Barnes, even after a poor touch, was able to slot the ball past Areola who left too much of a gap at his far post.
J. Andersen
Assist
49' Andersen gets the assist and his flick was powerful enough to reach Aina on the penalty spot.
O. Aina
Goal
49' GOAAAALLL!!!! BURNLEY 0-1 FULHAM - The visitors open the scoring from a corner and Aina will claim it, despite knowing very little about the goal. Andersen's flick at the near post hit Aina in the chest, and it seemed to confuse everyone in the Burnley defence. The ball was allowed to bounce towards goal and Brady's clearance went the wrong way and into the back of the net. Pope had no chance, and Burnley seemed too bothered about claiming for a handball, but the pass hit Aina in the chest before going towards goal.
R. Brady
Yellow Card
46' Brady is booked and rightly so after a poor challenge on Reed. The winger lost control of the ball and tried to win it back, before clipping Reed above his ankle.
46' We are back underway!
Fulham have clearly come with a defensive gameplan, and it could well work for them. However, if Burnley score, they will be chasing the game. Parker's side need to try and offer more in the final third to give themselves a better chance of sharing the spoils.
Even though they dominated the last 25 minutes, Burnley were unable to grab a first-half goal on home soil. Dyche's men got out of the blocks very slowly, but they soon started to impose themselves. Long, Westwood and Rodriguez have all come close to scoring, but Areola did his best to keep them at bay. Fulham made a decent start, but they have yet to force Pope into making a save.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME - BURNLEY 0-0 FULHAM.
45' + 1' Two minutes of stoppage time at the end of the first half.
45' CLOSE!!!! Burnley come within inches of opening the scoring, but Areola comes to the rescue. McNeil's ball across the face of the goal gave Barnes and Rodriguez a chance to score. The former missed it, and just as Rodriguez was about to tap home, Areola got a hand to the ball and saved the day.
44' Fulham clear their lines again like they have done all evening. So far, so good from the Cottagers!
43' Burnley win another free-kick and it is in a good position, with Westwood and McNeil stood over the ball.
41' Lemina tries to score from a corner, but he never got his angles right and can only fire his volley into the stands at Turf Moor.
R. Brady
J. Guðmundsson
39' Gudmundsson's night is over, he has already walked down the tunnel, and Brady comes on to replace him.
39' Worrying signs for Burnley here. Winger Gudmundsson has gone down after trying to make a tackle on Maja, and he immediately signals for treatment. His body language suggests he is resigned to being replaced.
38' Burnley win another corner, and once again, they put the ball under Areola's throat, this time he deals with it perfectly. Despite having bodies in his way, his punch killed any chance of Burnley scoring.
36' There have been just 22 goals scored in Burnley’s home Premier League games this season. The way this game has started, it looks like it could stay that way.
34' While it is making for better viewing, neither team has been able to control the game in midfield. The ball seems to be bouncing from one box to another, and that will suit Burnley more.
32' The game is stopped again as referee Moss and Parker exchange words on the touchline. The Cottagers boss accepts his comments, and no cards are shown. It is good to see passion being shown by both camps!
31' Panic over for Burnley fans Long is up on his feet and he did not need any treatment from the club's physios.
30' The referee blows his whistle as Maja and Long collide in the penalty area, with the latter in some discomfort.
27' WESTWOOD! The Burnley midfielder stings the palms of Areola from 25 yards out with an ambitious volley, but the Fulham keeper does well to get his body behind the ball.
25' LONG!!! Burnley go close to opening the scoring from a corner, but Long fires his header over the crossbar. McNeil's ball into the box was a beauty, but Long just got underneath the ball, and it remains goalless.
23' Burnley are slowly coming into this game now, they are starting to win set-pieces, and that can only be a positive.
21' Burnley finally force Areola into a save and the Fulham keeper deals with the danger, albeit somewhat clumsily. A Burnley free-kick should have been cleared by the visitors, leaving Areola to rush off his line. He managed to punch the ball, but it was not convincing from him.
18' Cordova-Reid looks bang up for this game tonight. After conceding a free-kick, he was quick to complain to referee Jonathan Moss, but he needs to channel his aggression in the right way.
R. Loftus-Cheek
Yellow Card
16' Loftus-Cheek is the first player to be booked after catching Taylor with a flying tackle. Taylor looked in some pain, but he seems fine to carry on without any treatment.
13' Adarabioyo attacks the corner, but his header hits Long, and that deflection takes all the power off his shot. Burnley keeper Pope is then able to come off his line, and he takes a simple catch.
13' Fulham win a corner after Cordova-Reid's cross is blocked by Long. This will give Andersen and Adarabioyo a chance to open the scoring...
10' Cordova-Reid goes down in the box and Fulham appeal for a penalty, but the officials are not interested, Lowton did very well to avoid the contact.
8' Burnley are yet to find their feet so far, but they will not be panicking just yet.
5' The rain is coming down at Turf Moor so both keepers will need to be wary of the conditions.
4' This game is perfect for the purists. Two teams playing 4-4-2, not often you see that anymore!
3' Fulham have started the better of the two teams, with Parker's side trying to build out from the back.
1' We are underway!
The two teams are now out on the pitch and kick-off is moments away. Both sides are wearing their traditional home kits this evening.
Burnley are unbeaten in their last 30 home meetings with Fulham in all competitions which is their longest ever unbeaten run against an opponent at Turf Moor in their history.
Clarets skipper Ben Mee is out with concussion so Long steps in for a rare appearance while Taylor replaces Erik Pieters at left-back. Fulham boss Parker sticks with the same team that beat Everton at the weekend.
SUBS: Marek Rodak, Tim Ream, Denis Odoi, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Josh Onomah, Ivan Cavaleiro, Antonee Robinson, Michael Hector, Terence Kongolo.
FULHAM (4-4-2): Alphonse Areola; Kenny Tete, Joachim Andersen, Tosin Adarabioyo, Ola Aina; Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Harrison Reed, Mario Lemina, Ademola Lookman; Josh Maja, Bobby De Cordova-Reid.
SUBS: Josh Benson, Joel Mumbongo, Phil Bardsley, Jimmy Dunne, Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Robbie Brady, Josh Brownhill, Anthony Driscoll-Glennon, Will Norris.
BURNLEY (4-4-2): Nick Pope; Matthew Lowton, James Tarkowski, Kevin Long, Charlie Taylor; Johann Gudmundsson, Ashley Westwood, Jack Cork, Dwight McNeil; Ashley Barnes, James Rodriguez.
Sean Dyche's Burnley have just one victory in their last five matches, and they are without a win in their previous three at Turf Moor. Fulham's recent form on the road should give them a real confidence boost, with Scott Parker's troops unbeaten in six on their travels.
Both teams returned to winning ways last weekend, with Burnley beating Crystal Palace 3-0, while Fulham shocked the division with a 2-0 success away at Everton.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League clash between Burnley and Fulham. Just two places separate the two sides, but the Clarets have an eight-point cushion over their rivals ahead of kick-off.
