That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
This victory moves Brighton up to 14th in the table and they face Wolves next time out. Meanwhile Leeds remain ninth and they welcome Tottenham to Elland Road next weekend.
Brighton pick up their first win in four games to move 10 points clear of the relegation zone, after a 2-0 victory over Leeds. They led 1-0 at the break after a Gross penalty, before Welbeck doubled their lead late on, with a superb turn and finish inside the box. The visitors struggled in the final third and their six-game unbeaten run came to a disappointing end.
A. Mac Allister
Y. Bissouma
90' + 2' Final substitution for Brighton now, with Bissouma replaced by Mac Allister.
90' There will be a minimum of three minutes added time played at the end of the second half.
J. Moder
D. Welbeck
90' Late change here by Brighton, with Welbeck coming off and he has been replaced by Moder.
L. Ayling
Yellow Card
88' Ayling is the first Leeds player to be booked after he barges into Webster and stops him from getting any further forward.
87' Leeds had been on a six-game unbeaten run in the Premier League prior to this game, but they've just been lacking in quality today and Brighton should be the deserved winners.
85' As it stands Brighton will move 10 points clear ahead of Fulham in the final relegation spot, who play Chelsea later today and would almost certainly secure their safety.
83' Welbeck's five PL goals this season is his best return since 2017-18 (also 5). He last scored more in 2013-14 (9).
A. Jahanbakhsh
L. Trossard
80' Brighton have made their first change following their second goal, with Trossard replaced by Jahanbakhsh.
D. Welbeck
79' GOOOAAALLL! Welbeck doubles Brighton’s lead and makes it 2-0! Surely that is the win wrapped up now. Leeds once again fail to deal with a long ball over the top and the striker takes down the high ball just inside the box and shows great skill and control to skip past his marker and then drill it into the bottom right corner of the net. Lovely finish.
Pablo Hernández
Diego Llorente
79' Leeds make their third and final change now, with Llorente the man coming off and he has been replaced by Hernandez.
79' Good move! Brighton break quickly and Trossard lays it across goal to Bissouma on the edge of the box. However, the midfielders shot is poor and flies well wide.
78' No signs of any Brighton changes at the moment, they are defending well in numbers and still look a threat on the counter.
76' CHANCE! Harrison delivers a low cross into the penalty area, which is blocked, but it falls straight to Dallas on the edge of the box and he fires a volley towards goal. However, he just gets slightly too much on it and it flies just over the crossbar. Not too far away at all.
P. Groß
Yellow Card
76' Gross is the first player to be booked today after deliberately delaying a Leeds free-kick.
75' The game is starting to become a little more stretched, with Brighton starting to give away a few free-kicks in decent positions. There is still plenty of time left on the clock for Leeds to get back into the game.
73' Blocked! Much better from Leeds! Roberts dummies a ball into the penalty area and it flies straight to Rodrigo in behind, who tries to turn and power a shot towards goal. However, his shot is weak and well blocked before Sanchez gathers the rebound.
71' Leeds have just been off their game today, they haven't shown much attacking intent and Bamford was hardly involved before his earlier departure. His replacement Rodrigo has also struggled to get stuck in with the action.
69' Brighton will be hoping that their missed chances don't come back to haunt them late on. Surely another goal would wrap up the three points.
67' CHANCE! Trossard does brilliantly down the right wing, skips past Dallas and into the penalty area, before pulling it back to Maupay, who should be hitting the target. However, he scuffs his shot and it flies wide of the Leeds goal.
65' Brighton have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven Premier League home games, losing both matches in which they conceded in that run (W2 D3). In fact, Brighton have failed to win any of their 10 home league games this season in which they’ve conceded at least once (D4 L6).
63' Leeds seem to be missing Kalvin Phillips today, the midfielder is a key man for Marcelo Bielsa's side and he picked up a knee injury to rule him out of the game.
61' Close! Good free-kick delivery into the box which Leeds fail to deal with and it falls to White in the box, who powers a header towards goal. However, he just gets slightly too much on it and it lands on top of the net.
P. Bamford
59' Here comes the Leeds substitution, with Bamford heading off the pitch and he has been replaced up front by Rodrigo.
58' It looks like Leeds are about to make their second change of the game, they need to do something to try and get back into the game. Rodrigo is stripped and ready on the sidelines.
56' Brighton are having to sit deep at the moment, they have everyone back behind the ball as Leeds press forward in search of an equaliser. They haven't tested Sanchez so far.
54' Leeds don't look comfortable at the back at all, especially with long crosses over the top or balls in behind, with Welbeck and Trossard constantly getting on the end of them.
52' ALMOST! Really poor defending by Leeds! Welbeck latches onto the end of a long ball over the top of the Brighton defence, which flies over Llorente and Meslier fails to come off his line and deal with it. The striker gets a shot away at goal, but it lacks pace and trickles towards the goal. However, Leeds get players back and clear the danger, before someone can fire it into the back of the net from close range.
50' Leeds have failed to win any of their last 31 PL games when trailing at HT (D4 L27), since coming back to beat Sunderland 2-1 in December 2002 under Terry Venables.
48' Here come Leeds down the left wing now, with Poveda doing well to skip past Veltman, but he can't beat Maupay, who sees the ball out of play.
46' CHANCE! Big opportunity for Brighton start after the restart! Harrison loses the ball and Burn picks it up down the left wing, he drills a cross into the penalty area, which is picked up by Veltman and he powers an effort towards goal. However, it flies just over the crossbar.
46' The second half is under way!
I. Poveda-Ocampo
E. Alioski
46' Leeds have made a change at the break, with Alioski replaced by Poveda.
The hosts often struggle to see games out, so Leeds will be confident of getting back into the match if they can up their game in the second half. Bamford has been very quiet up top for the visitors so far.
Brighton lead 1-0 at the break, after Alioski brought Welbeck down in the penalty area and Gross converted the resulting spot-kick. They should have made it 2-0 at the end of the half, when Leeds failed to clear their lines and Trossard had an open goal to aim at, but he couldn’t find the target. Leeds have seen plenty of the ball, but haven’t been able to open up the Brighton defence and test Sanchez just yet.
45' There will be a minimum of one minute added time played at the end of the first half.
44' There isn’t long left to play before the end of the first half, can Leeds get an equaliser before the half-time whistle? Or, will Brighton double their lead?
42' CLOSE! Welbeck has been very lively today for Brighton and he once again found space down in the final third, he races into the penalty area and drills an effort towards the bottom right corner of the net. However, it flies just wide of the far post.
40' CHANCE! Leeds try and play it out from the back and Llorente takes far too long on the ball, so Welbeck closes him down and wins it back deep inside the penalty area. He flicks it across goal to Trossard, who has an open goal to aim at from close range, but he somehow fires it over the crossbar! It should be 2-0.
38' Another injury stoppage now as Dunk is down with a head injury, after he is clattered into by his own team-mate as the two rose high for a corner. The Brighton skipper looks like he will be continuing.
36' Stoppage in play here as Llorente is struggling with a knock after a collision with Burn as the two battled for the ball. However, the medical staff don't need to come on and he will be fine to continue.
34' Blocked! Dallas delivers a corner into the box, which is cleared to the edge of the box and falls to Roberts, who drills an effort towards goal. However, Burn gets his body behind it and makes a great block.
33' Back-to-back corners here for Leeds, they have the hosts penned inside their own box at the moment. However, the Brighton defence are doing a good job of heading crosses away and preventing any opportunities.
31' We’re past the half an hour mark now and it remains Brighton who lead 1-0 at the Amex, thanks to a 14th minute penalty from Gross.
29' Decent effort! The ball falls nicely to Harrison on the edge of the penalty area, he takes a touch and then volleys an effort towards the top right corner of the goal. However, he gets too much on it and it flies wide.
28' The pace of the game has dropped slightly in the last few minutes, with Leeds seeing more of the ball as Brighton are happy to sit deep and keep them away from their final third.
26' Poor challenge! Burn is lucky to get away with just a warning and not a yellow card after his high knee catches Ayling, after the Leeds skipper just nicked the ball past him.
25' Gross has been directly involved in 36 Premier League goals (15 goals, 21 assists), eight more than any other Brighton player.
23' This is better from Leeds, they are showing more intent to get forward, but are struggling to get it into the feet of Bamford, who has been very isolated up top so far.
21' ALMOST! Harrison does well down the left wing and delivers a cross into the box, which Brighton make a mess of clearing. Sanchez palms it straight into Veltman, the ball hits him and trickles towards the line, however, Burn is back to clear the danger in the nick of time.
20' Ambitious effort! Llorente looks up on the halfway line and spots Sanchez well off his line and tries to chip it over the top of the keeper. However, his strike flies well over the crossbar.
18' Good move! Dallas does brilliantly down the right wing, playing a quick one-two with Klich and the winger races into the penalty area and tries to square the ball across goal for a team-mate. However, Brighton clear the danger.
16' Despite their 1-0 lead, Brighton will be well aware of the amount of points they have dropped after taking the lead this season, they often struggle to see the game out.
P. Groß
Penalty Goal
14' GOOOAAALLL! Brighton take the lead from the penalty spot, Gross fires them 1-0 ahead! Alioski brought down Welbeck and the referee showed no hesitation in pointing to the spot and Gross converted. Meslier dived the right way, but Gross just got enough pace and direction on it, to send it into the bottom left corner of the net.
13' BRIGHTON PENALTY! It comes after a really poor free-kick delivery into the box by Gross, but Leeds fail to deal with it and Trossard flicks it to Welbeck, who tries to skip past Alioski and the Leeds man falls to the ground and almost rugby tackles the striker to the floor. The referee immediately points to the spot.
12' Brighton have won seven of their last eight league games against Leeds, with the exception being a 2-0 loss at Elland Road in March 2017.
10' Bright start here by Brighton, they are finding some space in the final third and are getting a few shots at goal away. Welbeck sees a shot blocked, before the rebound is picked up by Trossard and again blocked by Koch.
8' Another shot from Trossard, this time from the edge of the penalty area and Meslier gets across and makes a comfortable stop.
7' SAVE! Lovely move by Brighton, they work it really well to get into the Leeds penalty area and Trossard tries to work space for the shot. It looks like he takes too long on the ball and the chance goes away. However, he just gets away in time and fires a low strike towards goal, but it is too close to Meslier, who makes a good save.
5' Decent move by Leeds, with Klich breaking forward from midfield and finding space down the left wing. Unfortunately his cross into the box is poor and flies straight out of play.
3' Leeds with the early possession here, they are keeping it well inside their own half, with Brighton pressing high up the pitch and not letting them into their half.
1' We're under way!
The teams are out on the pitch and kick-off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all the match action!
The visitors have also made two changes to their starting XI, with Koch and Klich coming into the team and they have replaced Kalvin Phillips and Helder Costa.
Brighton have made two changes to the side that were beaten by Sheffield United last time out, with White returning from suspension and Burn also coming into the team and they have replaced Adam Lallana and Moder.
