FULL TIME! Bayern progress into the final of the DFB Pokal, courtesy of a professional 2-0 victory over Bremen in Bavaria. Two goals from Muller propel Die Roten on, with the visitors passing up a few great opportunities to throw the cat among the pigeons. That's all we have time for, we hope to see you again next time.
Kleinheisler takes aim from the edge of the penalty area, but the substitute can only guide a sliced volley wide of the far post! That might have been the last chance for Bremen to make the final few minutes interesting.
Ujah is brought down by Benatia, as the substitute looked to pivot and drive forwards at pace, with Bremen still not giving up. A long-range free-kick is pumped into the Bayern box, but Djilobodji can only poke a tame flick straight at Neuer.
Lahm makes an important headed clearance to deny Sternberg, with Bayern leading the charge on the break immediately. Their move slows down, with the hosts then opting to retain slow possession. Bremen are chasing shadows, it must be said.
Alaba takes the free-kick himself, but can only blast wildly over the crossbar from the edge of penalty area. Only five minutes stand between Die Roten and another cup final.
Bremen need to now throw caution to the wind, but Bayern have looked much more dangerous on the break since Vidal's introduction. Alaba scampers down the left, before being shunted the ground by Gebre Selassie, with the hosts having another good free-kick opportunity.
L. Kleinheisler
C. Fritz
Werder Bremen
Fritz leaves the field, after being fortunate to not be dismissed this evening, with Kleinheisler coming into the game.
We're into the final 10 minutes at the Allianz Arena, with Bayern seeking to put this game to bed. Muller is found on the right, before holding up possession well, with the Germany international opting to tee up Vidal. The Chilean substitute shoots narrowly over the bar from close range.
Ribery is denied by a sprawling save from Wiedwald, before play is stopped moments later for a bustling foul on Alonso by Ujah. Bayern are happy to take their time and slow this contest right down now, with Bremen doing all the chasing.
Narrowly over 10 minutes remain in Bavaria, with Die Roten looking to be on course for the DFB Pokal final. All that remains for Bayern to do is retain possession and ensure that Bremen don't snatch a goal, as it would give their opponents a huge psychological boost.
Easy save for Wiedwald! Alonso shoots from a 20-yard free-kick opportunity, but the goalkeeper makes a simple stop. Bayern maintain their pressure, with Muller lining up a volley from the edge of the box, but the hosts' goalscorer sees his effort blocked.
L. Öztunali
S. Yatabaré
Werder Bremen
Yatabare also leaves the field of play, with Oztunali having 15 minutes to impress.
A. Ujah
C. Pizarro
Werder Bremen
Ujah replaces Pizarro, with the substitute having a little more pace and drive than the man he is checking in for.
Ribery is outmuscled as he attempts to drift infield from the left flank, but the referee blows up for a push by Fritz. Another Bremen player lashes the ball away in frustration, as the away side clearly feels as though everything is going against them this evening.
T. Müller
Penalty Goal
Bayern München
GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! MULLER MAKES IT 2-0! The Germany international slots home his second of the evening, sending Wiedwald the wrong way in order to double Bayern's advantage from 12 yards! Die Roten have one foot in the cup final now.
PENALTY TO BAYERN! Vidal has only been on the pitch for a few minutes, but jinks inside Sternberg beautifully. The left-back goes to ground and hacks down the ex-Juve midfielder, leaving the refere with no option but to point to the spot.
Bremen win themselves a corner on the right-hand side, but the eventual delivery is headed clear at the near post. Moments later, the visitors hook a cross into the box from the same flank, but Alaba clears.
A. Vidal
K. Coman
Bayern München
Vidal replaces Coman, with the latter hobbling slightly since an awkward fall five minutes ago.
Martinez brings the ball out of defence, before Ribery races away on a counter. The France international opens play out to his compatriot Coman, with Bayern then working possession from flank to flank. Less than half an hour remains for Bremen to come up with an equaliser at the Allianz Arena.
Sternberg causes problems down the left-hand side, before an attempted pass into Yatabare is cut out by Lahm. Moments later, Bartels threatens centrally with his pace, but Benatia has the peace of mind to slot a pass back to Neuer. The Bayern goalkeeper has been the busier of the two in the second half here.
Grillitsch takes aim from the edge of the penalty area, but the midfielder can only lash a volleyed effort over the crossbar! Moments later, Bremen think that they have their equaliser, but play is pulled back for a shove on Alaba! There didn't appear to be much in the challenge from Bartels.
Thiago Alcântara
M. Götze
Bayern München
Thiago comes into the game in place of Gotze, with the latter not having the brightest of games. The ex-Barcelona midfielder will hope to offer more cutting edge.
Big chance for the away side! Gebre Selassie makes his way down the right flank, before slotting a neat cross in between Neuer and his back four! Pizarro slides to try and make contact, but can't quite get there! Guardiola's men aren't quite out of the woods yet.
M. Benatia
Juan Bernat
Bayern München
Bernat takes his leave, with Benatia slotting into the side. There is a quick reshuffle, with Alaba going out to left-back.
Junuzovic lets fly from a tight angle, but his shot from around 25 yards out arrows straight over the crossbar and into the stands behind Neuer's goal! The visitors are looking far more confident, but one mistake and Bayern with capitalise on it. Die Roten counter from left to right, but a throughball from Ribery is gobbled up by Wiedwald.
Bremen have had a few dangerous breakaways in the last five minutes, but haven't been able to take advantage of their opportunities. Gotze drives towards the edge of the penalty area, before combining with Lewandowski, but the latter sees an attempted shot blocked by a ruck of defenders. Moments later, Coman cuts back a smart cross from the right, but Gebre Selassie hacks it out of harm's way!
Lahm lifts a cross in towards the back post, but Gotze is unable to rise high enough to beat Vestergaard to it. Bremen try to respond with a break of their own, but Neuer is alert to race off his line and smash a clearance away from the lurking presence of Junuzovic.
Guardiola's men are looking to force the issue from the outset of the second period, with a second goal bound to settle things down in Die Roten's favour. Coman threatens down the right, but the former PSG youngster slips vitally when making contact with an attempted cross.
Gotze and Fritz clash painfully, with the Bremen captain entering another tackle in a dangerous manner. He needs to watch his step, as another poor challenge and he will be taking an early bath. Bayern respond with a break down the left, but Yatabare robs possession from Ribery.
We are back underway in the second half at the Allianz Arena! Muller's goal is the only difference between the two sides, with Bremen sure to fancy their chances as long as the deficit remains at merely one goal.
HALF-TIME! Bayern go into the break a goal ahead, courtesy of a headed opener from Muller. The hosts have had more of the ball, but Bremen have still had a couple of half-chances on the break. Only 45 minutes remain for the visitors to turn this one around and battle their way into the DFB Pokal final.
Bremen earn themselves a corner on the left flank, but Junuzovic's delivery is headed away by Martinez. Bayern try to immediately lead a break, but Sternberg is able to get back quickly and force Ribery to foul him. Good defending from the visiting left-back.
Only a few minutes remain until the interval, with Bayern attempting to force a second goal of the evening. Yet another cross is flighted in from the right, but Djilobodji gets up to clear the danger as the first man. Moments later, Sternberg is asked to make a similar clearance.
Let-off for Neuer! The Bayern goalkeeper makes a lazy clearance, with Yatabare able to pick up the loose ball when the German shot-stopper was miles off his line! The Bremen forward tries to lift a delicate lob over his opponent, but gets the angles all wrong. Neuer claims with ease, but he's a lucky boy indeed.
Less than 10 minutes remain in the first half, with Bayern presumably keen to double their advantage before heading back to the dressing room. As it stands, Bremen have every chance of taking this tie the full distance, should Die Roten make merely one mistake.
Djilobodji is penalised for pushing his man in the penalty area, after Junuzovic had the chance to whip in a free-kick delivery from deep on the right flank. Wasteful from the underdogs. The visitors try and attack moments later, but Martinez is alert to the danger and intercepts a pass ahead of Pizarro.
Ribery is picked out making tracks down the left flank, but the hosts' winger is caught criminally offside. However, that could well have been a mistake from the linesman. Bremen respond by attempting to attack themselves, but a Yatabare flick-on is easily mopped up.
Coman tries to break down the right flank, but Djilobodji does well to get his body in between the Frenchman and the ball. Moments later, Muller is fed possession on the edge of the box, but the Germany international can only guide a swerving effort just wide of the far upright!
Xabi Alonso

Bayern München
Alonso flights in an inviting corner delivery from the right-hand side.

GOOOOOOOOOOOAL! MULLER OPENS THE SCORING FOR THE HOSTS! The Germany international is picked out by a corner delivery from the right, before planting a firm header into the turf! It bounces up and into the top-left corner, with Wiedwald unable to keep it out.
Pizarro is found advancing into the penalty area, before the Peru international sends a looping header over the crossbar from around 15 yards out! The linesman had his flag raised for offside anyhow, which is something the ex-Chelsea striker clearly disagrees with.
Ribery drives into the penalty area, before sliding a neat pass out to the overlapping presence of Gotze. The former Dortmund midfielder zips in a low cross, but Vestergaard is on hand to hook a hurried clearance away from the danger zone. The Bremen centre-back has been busy thus far. Moments later, Coman shoots wide from a tight angle.
Another great cross in from the right for Bayern! Lahm drives to the byline, before flashing a brilliant ball across the face of goal and wide of the far post! Lewandowski can't quite get there, with both Vestergaard and Gebre Selassie only able to watch the danger pass clear of its own accord.
C. Fritz
Yellow Card
Werder Bremen
Fritz gets a deserved yellow card for an awful challenge on Coman, as the Bremen captain enters the tackle with his studs raised. They rake the shin of the Frenchman, who hobbles his way back into the fray.
The away side try to open play out to the left-hand side, but Vestergaard's good pass isn't controlled well at all by Sternberg. Moments later, Fritz is guilty of making a mistake and giving away a foul. Scrappy, low-quality stuff from Bremen thus far, really.
Coman looks to break down the right-hand side, with Sternberg giving away a foul as a result. Bremen are more than happy to give away free-kicks if required, with Bayern unable to capitalise upon such opportunities. Gotze and Muller combine down the right, but Vestergaard recovers to slide in and deny the latter.
Bremen will be pleased with how the opening stages have gone, as Wiedwald hasn't really been tested thus far. Tempers briefly spill over, with Yatabare lashing out at Bernat through frustration, but the linesman is quickly over to break things up.
Lewandowski is nearly picked out by another good delivery from the right-hand side, but Vestergaard rises above the Poland international to head clear. Bayern are slowly building up more and more pressure, with Die Roten controlling current proceedings.
Bayern win themself a corner on the left-hand side, but yet again a set-piece delivery is easily cleared by the away outfit. Meanwhile, Coman appears to have something of a knock. The Frenchman delivers a ball from the right towards Lewandowski, but the ex-Lech Poznan forward can only flick an attempted finish beyond the left-hand post.
Gotze is found on the left-hand side, before a slotting a pass into the path of an overlapping Ribery. The France international sees an eventual cross blocked, however. The home fans are making plenty of noise now, urging Die Roten towards an opening goal this evening.
Junuzovic is picked out by a curling cross from the left-hand side, but the Austria international can't rise high enough to meet the ball with his head. Generally, Die Roten are in control, but Bremen have been able to ruffle a few feathers on the counter-attack.
Lahm breaks forward at pace, before slotting a pass to the right byline for Coman to chase. The Frenchman cuts a cross into the six-yard box, before Ribery can only tee up Bernat for a close-range strike! The ex-Valencia man has a go, but is denied by a deflection.
Bayern enjoy a long spell of possession, with the away side sat back in numbers. It is clear that Bremen are opting for the usual approach against Guardiola's men, one of biding their time before breaking upfield quickly. Alonso tries to find Gotze in the box with a long diagonal, but the ball sails straight behind for a goal-kick.
Just wide from Yatabare! The midfielder cuts in from the left-hand side, before firing a low drive just beyond the near upright! Neuer was worried and gets down smartly, but the ball whistles off-target and into the advertising hoardings without a touch from the ex-Schalke shot-stopper.
Lahm gets involved again, with the Bayern right-back sliding in to prevent Bartels from breaking into the penalty area! Pizarro held possession up well, before slotting a searching pass into a dangerous area, but the World Cup winner intervenes expertly.
Bartels bursts down the left, before trying to lift a throughball over the top for Pizarro to chase, but the former Bayern striker doesn't have the pace to beat Lahm. The hosts' captain cushions a simple pass back to Neuer.
We are underway in the first half at the Allianz Arena! Both of these sides are playing for a place in the DFB Pokal final, with Guardiola targetting more success, while Bremen try to appease their expectant fans after a poor league campaign.

Bremen arrived at this point of the competition courtesy of wins over Wurzburger Kickers, Koln, Gladbach and Leverkusen, with Pep Guardiola's men needing to defeat Nottingen, Wolfsburg, Darmstadt and Bochum. The underdogs have arguably had the harder passage to this stage of the Pokal.
