Zapata has conceded and won the most fouls of any player in this match. Thus far, he’s given away four free-kicks and won five for his team.
There will be three added minutes at the end of this match.
Gasperini makes a late change with time running out, bringing off Pessina for Pasalic.
SAVE! Lozano’s well-struck shot from range is a dangerous one, but Gollini is able to claim it at his near post.
Maksimovic goes through the back of Zapata and the hosts win a free-kick midway inside Napoli’s half.
Napoli are getting desperate in their effort to mount a comeback. Politano this time sends an ambitious shot over the bar.
Rui lets a pass from Demme run onto his left foot, before curling an effort towards goal from range. Gollini watches it all the way and tips it behind for a corner.
After being picked out by Rui, Insigne fires a long-range shot well over the top of Gollini’s goal.
Politano is caught by Gosens, and the home side win a free-kick deep inside their own half.
Following that third Atalanta goal, Petagna replaces Osimhen for Napoli.
Ilicic has caused Napoli problems ever since coming onto the field. This time he probes with an inviting pass to Zapata, who once again uses his strength and awareness to pick out Pessina, and the Italian applies the deftest of finishes.
GOAL! Atalanta add a third! Ilicic lays the ball off for Zapata on the edge of the box, and he is alert to the run of Pessina, teeing it up for the Italian. Pessina dribbles beyond a couple of defenders before chipping the ball over the onrushing Ospina from the centre of the box. 3-1.
Despite only coming on in the 56th minute, Ilicic has played more key passes than any other player (4).
G. Di Lorenzo
Zapata skips away from Di Lorenzo just inside the away side’s half, before being brought down by the full-back, who is shown a yellow card.
WHAT A SAVE! Di Lorenzo sets Demme away down the right, and he creates a yard of space to send a low cross into the box. Osimhen gets across his man with a near-post run and steers a first-time shot towards goal, but somehow Gollini gets down to deny the Nigerian from close range.
Insigne cuts in from the right and attempts to float a throughball into Lozano’s path. Gollini was alert to the threat and rushed off his line to claim the pass.
With 18 minutes of normal time left to play, Palomino comes off Caldara.
GOOD EFFORT! Ospina is once again called into action as he claws Pessina’s fiercely-struck shot from distance over the bar when it looked destined for the top-left corner.
SHOULD SCORE! The resulting corner is swung into a dangerous area, and somehow Zapata fails to hit the target from close range. He broke free of Napoli’s zonal marking following Gosens’ knockdown, but his header flew over the bar.
SMART SAVE! Ilicic finds himself in space and, from range, opts to try his luck. Ospina watches the right-footed shot all the way and tips it behind for a corner.
OVER! Ilicic feeds the ball to his left into the path of Zapata, and he sets Gosens away down the wing. The German drives to the byline and fires a low cross into the area, which Ilicic lifts over the bar.
Napoli make their third change of the match. Bakayoko makes way for Lobotka.
Substitution Tiemoué Bakayoko Diego Demme
CLOSE! Zapata is picked out by Ilicic down the left-hand side of the away side’s box, and his shot deflects just wide off Rrahmani. Djimsiti steers a tame header from the resulting set-piece into Ospina’s gloves.
SAVE! Ilicic does well to create a yard of space down the right side of the Napoli box before sending the ball into the middle. Gosens connects with the delivery, but steers his effort straight at Ospina.
Gosens cuts inside and onto his right foot, before seeing his shot blocked on the edge of the box. The loose ball drops to Ilicic, but he is unable to play the German in behind following a clever run off Maksimovic.
The winner of this tie will face Juventus in the final of the Coppa Italia. They beat Inter 2-1 on aggregate in their semi-final contest.
Some neat link-up play allows Sutalo to break down the right-hand side of the field, although he is cynically taken out by Zielinski, who is shown a yellow card for that tackle.
Shortly after conceding, Gasperini brings on Ilicic for Muriel.
Atalanta cannot get out of their own half at present. Napoli have had 68 per cent of the possession thus far in the second half.
GOAL! Napoli have one back! Bakayoko latches onto Di Lorenzo’s pass into the box, cuts onto his left foot, and sees his shot deflect off Palomino. The loose ball drops to Lozano, who is somehow denied at the first attempt by Gollini, before steering home the rebound from close range. 2-1.
Osimhen gets played in down the left-hand side of the field and Palomino tracks the Nigerian all the way, forcing him to play the ball back towards his own goal.
Gattuso’s side are seeing plenty more of the ball in the second half. Bakayoko looks to thread a pinpoint throughball beyond the hosts’ defence for Lozano to chase, but Gollini is quickly off his line to claim the pass.
Toloi switches the play over to the left for Gosens, and Muriel just fails to latch onto the German’s low cross into the box with Rrahmani well placed to deal with the threat.
The away side have started the second half brightly. Politano has an immediate impact, driving into the box and winning a corner off Gosens. The set-piece is taken short, before a resulting cross is nodded to safety by Sutalo.
We are back underway! La Penna, the referee, blows his whistle and Napoli get the second half kicked off.
Napoli make one change at the break. Elmas makes way for Politano.
Gasperini will be delighted by his team’s efforts so far and will hope for much of the same after the restart. Muriel, Pessina and Zapata have caused Napoli real problems because of their pace and clever link-up play, while De Roon and Freuler have controlled proceedings in midfield. Gattuso, on the other hand, will want to see more fight in the second half. Osimhen has been far too isolated thus far, and the visitors will need to get Insigne and Lozano in an around the Nigerian if they are to launch a comeback.
After a ruthless first-half display, Atalanta take a two-goal lead in at the break. Although early chances fell to Insigne, Zapata’s thunderous strike from range broke the deadlock after just 10 minutes. Before Napoli could respond, Gasperini’s side had doubled their lead six minutes later when Pessina applied the finish to a well-worked move. The away side grew into the half as it went on, but never asked any questions of Gollini.

WHAT A CHANCE! Following Muriel’s corner from the right, the ball ricochets inside the box and falls to Zapata, who scoops his close-range effort over the bar. He should have done better there.
There will be one minute of added time at the end of this half.
Insigne is struggling to get possession in advanced areas, this time dropping onto the edge of his own box to collect the ball.
Gattuso is clearly not impressed by his team’s first-half display and opts to make his first change, bringing on Rui for Hysaj. There is no sign of an injury.
Zapata holds the ball up just inside the opposition’s penalty area before setting Gosens away down the left. The German opts to send a low, first-time cross into the box, but Di Lorenzo spots the danger and gets across to block the delivery behind for a corner. The resulting set-piece is nodded over the bar by Palomino.

Muriel, Pessina and Zapata are relentlessly pressing Napoli’s defence, which is forcing them to hit the ball long instead of working it through the central areas.
Toloi is a little too eager to regain possession and catches Hysaj in Napoli’s defensive third. The visitors win a free-kick.
Freuler opens up the space by switching the play over to the right for Sutalo. Atalanta seek to work the ball in field, but Bakayoko is alert to make an interception.

Atalanta have scored with each of their two shots on target.
Hysaj is the latest player to go into the book following a late challenge on Pessina deep inside the hosts’ half.
OPENING! Di Lorenzo does well to spin away from Djimsiti and drive down the right flank. After picking his head up, he sends the ball into the box where it falls to Insigne, and his strike deflects out for a corner off Sutalo. That is better from the visitors.
Osimhen is down again after this time being caught by Toloi. He quickly gets back to his feet, but does complain to the referee about how regularly he is being fouled.
Osimhen does well to take down a long, searching pass before being pulled back by Palomino. Free-kick Napoli.
The rhythm of the game is being interrupted by a number of fouls. This time Hysaj is impeded by Zapata down the far side of the pitch.
Lozano is clipped by Muriel and the away side are awarded a free-kick down the right wing.
That goal was Atalanta at their very best. Gosens' pass was played with real purpose, and Zapata showed excellent awareness to send the ball around the corner for the overlapping Pessina. That was a wonderful goal.
GOAL! Atalanta double their lead! Napoli initially deal with a cross from the right, but the ball is only cleared as far as Gosens, who plays an incisive pass into Zapata on the edge of the box. The Colombian then steers a first-time throughball into Pessina’s path, and he slides his close-range effort into the bottom-left corner. 2-0.
There is going to be a brief stoppage in play as Osimhen is down following a collision with Palomino. He is now back to his feet and looks fine to continue.
Zapata seeks to latch onto a long pass down the right. However, he catches Maksimovic while on the turn and Napoli win a free-kick.
M. de Roon
Gasperini’s side worked the ball around so cleverly in the build-up to that goal. Muriel initially sought to advance down the left, before picking out De Roon in the centre. The Dutchman was alert to Zapata ahead of him, and he made no mistake with the finish.
GOAL! Atalanta take the lead! What a strike! After some patient build-up play just inside the Napoli half, De Roon feeds the ball to Zapata a few yards outside of the visitors’ penalty area. The Colombian takes a couple of touches before lashing a fierce shot beyond Ospina and into the bottom-left corner. 1-0.
JUST WIDE! The resulting free-rick from the right is nodded to the edge of the box, where Insigne collects the loose ball and sends a left-footed half-volley inches wide of the near post.
Palomino picks up the first yellow card of the match after cynically fouling Lozano as he looked to break down the right wing. He can have no complaints about that decision.
BLOCK! Following some clever link-up play down the left flank, Atalanta work the ball inside to Muriel. On the edge of the box, the striker opens up his body before seeing his well-struck shot blocked by Rrahmani.
De Roon picks out Zapata midway inside the visitors’ half, and he goes down under pressure from Maksimovic and wins a free-kick.
CHANCE! Lozano drives down the right-hand side of the field before picking out Insigne on the edge of the box. The Italian takes a touch to set himself and fires a right-footed shot wide of the far post.
Murial looks to press Di Lorenzo high up the field, but catches the Napoli full-back's ankle. Free-kick to the visitors.
Kick off! The referee, Federico La Penna, blows his whistle and Atalanta get the game underway.
The teams are out, and kick-off will soon be upon us here at Gewiss Stadium.
Atalanta and Napoli have battled in nine matches in the Coppa Italia so far. The former have picked up two wins, while the latter have triumphed on four occasions.
The home side are struggling for form heading into this must-win match, failing to win in any of their previous three games. In that time, Atalanta have also conceded six goals. Thus far this season, La Dea have met Napoli twice in all competitions and are yet to beat Gattuso’s team. Last season’s Coppa Italia winners, on the other hand, have not been firing on all cylinders in recent weeks, winning just two of their last six fixtures. However, after Atalanta failed to score an away goal in the reverse leg, Napoli may fancy their chances of securing their place in the final for a second consecutive season.
Following their 3-3 draw with Torino last time out in Serie A, Gian Piero Gasperini makes four alterations to his side. Djimsiti, Freuler, Sutalo and Zapata come in to start ahead of the suspended Cristian Romero, as well as Ruggeri, Malinovskiy and Ilicic. The visitors, on the other hand, make five changes for this second-leg contest, with Rrahmani, Hysaj, Bakayoko, Insigne and Osimhen replacing Kostas Manolas, Rui, Demme, Politano and Petagna.
NAPOLI SUBS: Alex Meret, Mario Rui, Nikita Contini, Davide Costanzo, Diego Demme, Stanislav Lobotka, Fabian Ruiz, Karim Zedadka, Andrea Petagna, Matteo Politano, Antonio Cioffi.
ATALANTA SUBS: Marcelo Sportiello, Francesco Rossi, Mattia Caldara, Matteo Ruggeri, Davide Ghislandi, Mario Pasalic, Ruslan Malinovskiy, Viktor Kovalenko, Aleksey Miranchuk, Josip Ilicic, Sam Lammers.
NAPOLI (4-3-3): David Ospina; Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Nikola Maksimovic, Amir Rrahmani, Elseid Hysaj; Eljif Elmas, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Piotr Zielinski; Hirving Lozano, Lorenzo Insigne, Victor Osimhen.
ATALANTA (3-4-3): Pierluigi Gollini; Rafael Toloi, Jose Luis Palomino, Berat Djimsiti; Robin Gosens, Marten de Roon, Bosko Sutalo, Remo Freuler; Luis Muriel, Matteo Pessina, Duvan Zapata.
After their goalless draw with Napoli in the first leg, Atalanta drew 3-3 in their following Serie A game against Torino. Gennaro Gattuso’s team, meanwhile, lost 2-1 on their trip to face Genoa in the league.
