Real Madrid-Osasuna Preview: Los Merengues eye winning end to Mourinho era
The Portuguese coach will bring his three-year reign at the Santiago Bernabeu to a close on Saturday
By Karthick Arvinth
Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo could miss the home encounter against Osasuna as he continues to manage a back problem.
Raphael Varane (knee) and Sami Khedira (suspension) are both sidelined, while Pepe, Xabi Alonso and Kaka are all doubts.
However, goalkeeper Iker Casillas and defenders Sergio Ramos and Fabio Coentrao should be available after missing the 3-3 draw at Real Sociedad through injury.
Osasuna defender Damia is suspended after picking up his 15th booking of the season in the win over Sevilla but midfielder Nano is available after serving a one-match ban.
Lolo, Miguel Flano, Sisi, Anthony Annan and Nino are all out injured for the visitors, who have already secured their top-flight status for next season.

The Argentina striker looks set to be on the way out of the Santiago Bernabeu following a mixed season, with Serie A champions Juventus touted as the most likely destination. Higuain will look to add to his 15 Liga goals for the season and end his six-year stint in Madrid with a final flourish.
The 27-year-old striker is Osasuna’s leading scorer in La Liga with nine goals but has not found the net since late-March. Sola will look to rediscover his scoring touch and lead his side to a famous win at the Bernabeu.
Osasuna’s win over Sevilla made this match a dead rubber, but the home side will have been irked by their 3-3 draw against Real Sociedad last weekend and will want to end the season on a positive note.
