    Christian Abbiati

Barely had anything to do, but really should have done better for Giovinco's strike. The fact that he was beaten at his near post, and nutmegged, speaks volumes.

  • Taye Taiwo

    Taye Taiwo

The Nigerian was solid in defence and tried to keep it simple in attack. Offered nothing spectacular, but got the job done.

  • Daniele Bonera

    Daniele Bonera

Had very little to do and yet managed to commit an awful lot of mistakes. Allowed Zaccardo a free header in the 28th minute and could only watch as Giovinco netted Parma's only goal.

  • Thiago Silva

    Thiago Silva

The Brazil international was a virtual spectator as Parma's impotency made for an easy night. Was given a quick wake-up call, when Biabiany entered the fray, but generally did well.

  • Ignazio Abate

    Ignazio Abate

Had a blistering game, covering for the woefully out-of-depth Bonera at the back, and was a major force in the final third. Put in some sublime crosses and impressed with his runs with the one in the 70th minute being a highlight. However, he should take some blame for Parma's goal as he failed to track down Giovinco.

  • Antonio Nocerino

Antonio Nocerino Top of the Match

Passed the ball well and showed tremendous work-rate in what was a memorable performance. Had luck on his side for the first goal as his finish was below par, but showed great instincts to bag the other two.

  • Massimo Ambrosini

    Massimo Ambrosini

The veteran faced little resistance in the middle of the pitch tonight and generally looked rusty. Committed some nasty, mistimed fouls, but did play some good passes in the second half.

  • Alberto Aquilani

    Alberto Aquilani

The ex-Juventus man had a quite a first half, but improved greatly after the break. Showed some neat passing and had the fans on their feet with a strike from distance shortly after the hour mark. Had very little defensive work to do.

  • Kevin-Prince Boateng

    Kevin-Prince Boateng

The midfielder earned a needless yellow card and despite putting in some good passes, he was too wasteful with his final ball. A different player to the one we saw off the bench against Lecce at the weekend.

  • Antonio Cassano
    328
    42
    3.00

    Antonio Cassano

'Fantantonio' had a mixed-bag of a game as some sublime touches were overshadowed by some poor finishing. Did well to spot the run of Nocerino for the fourth and generally did well, especially after the break.

  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic
    424

    3.50

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The Swede did well to score the third goal and assist the first as he once again proved he can be relied upon to make things click for Milan. Had a field day against Feltscher, who had no answer for the power play of the ex-Barcelona striker.

A decent outing for the ex-Ajax man, who made some incisive runs.

  • Robinho

    Robinho

Missed two one-on-ones in his disappointing cameo.

  • Antonio Mirante

    Antonio Mirante

The goalkeeper can hardly be blamed for the loss, but surely could have done better to prevent the opener. Otherwise, he was solid, pulling off some superb saves to deny Aquilani, Robinho and Ibrahimovic in the second half. Cannot be blamed for any of the other goals.

  • Massimo Gobbi

    Massimo Gobbi

Had a great first half in which he looked like the only potent attacking force for Parma. Crumbled horribly after the break as he was pinned back by Abate, Robinho and Cassano, who had no trouble bypassing him.

  • R. Feltscher

    R. Feltscher Flop of the Match

The Venezuelan looks very intimidating physically, but was tossed aside like a feather for all four goals. Turned by Ibrahimovic in the build-up to the first and the third, bypassed by Nocerino for the second and the fourth, the defender probably had the worst game of his life as he was the main responsible party for all the strikes that ended in Mirante's net.

  • Gabriel Paletta
    6

    2.50

    Gabriel Paletta

The Argentinian endured a nightmare of a game as Milan teamed up on him occasionally with Cassano and Abate combining well, exposing the ex-Liverpool's defender lack of pace. Ruthless in the tackle and lacking concentration, the centre-back had a match to forget.

  • Cristian Zaccardo
    11
    15
    2.50

    Cristian Zaccardo

Had absolutely no impact in attack and struggled quite a bit dealing with Boateng and Ibrahimovic. Improved after the break, but still looked unconvincing. Was given a free-header in AC MIlan's penalty box in the 26th minute, but failed to take his chance.

  • Francesco Modesto

    Francesco Modesto

The wide utility man had a disappointing match as he spent most of the time defending and had virtually no impact in the final third. Replaced after the break.

  • Nwankwo Obiorah

    2.50

    Nwankwo Obiorah

The midfielder had an indifferent game as he did well to help out in defence, but was particularly inept with his passing. Replaced after the break.

  • Stefano Morrone

    2.50

    Stefano Morrone

The experienced midfielder had a decent game as he helped out in defence well, but offered fairly little in an attacking sense. His final ball in particular was not exactly impressive.

  • Francesco Valiani
    9
    16
    2.50

    Francesco Valiani

Did nothing to justify his inclusion as he was chasing shadows for most of the game. His contribution both in defence and in attack was questionable.

  • Sebastian Giovinco
    131
    13
    3.00

    Sebastian Giovinco

Once again proved he is the danger man in Parma's squad. Had one particularly awful free-kick blasted over the bar, but showed a lot of desire and skill as he netted the consolation goal for the visitors. Was starved of service, but did well whenever in possession.

  • Jaime Valdes
    8
    20
    3.00

    Jaime Valdes

The highly-rated Chilean did nothing to live up to his reputation as he was isolated from the match for big periods. Received little service, but was reluctant to drop back and play with the ball.

Substitutions

  • Jadid Abderrazzak

    2.50

    Jadid Abderrazzak

Impressed after coming on for Nwankwo as he injected some much needed dynamism in Parma's game. Showed some good touches and neat passing.

  • Jonathan Biabiany
    25
    16
    3.00

    Jonathan Biabiany

The ex-Inter man gave the sleepy Milan defence a wake up call as he impressed in some good exchanges with Giovinco.
