Croatia 4-2 Czech Republic: Kalinic Brace Secures Victory For Hosts

Two goals in the second half secured the win for the hosts...

Croatia recorded an entertaining 4-2 victory over the Czech Republic in an international friendly at the Stadion Aldo Drosina on Wednesday evening.

The hosts went 2-0 up after just 13 minutes, thanks to a solo effort from Eduardo Da Silva and a header from Nikola Kalinic that left Petr Cech stranded.

However, the Czechs restored parity by the end of the first-half as Tomas Sivok and the industrious Tomas Rosicky both found the target.

However, Croatia pressed for more goals and Kalinic put them 3-2 up just after the hour mark after great work from Dynamo Moscow's Tomislav Dujmovic.

Ivo Ilicevic then wrapped up the win with a 50-yard punt on 75 minutes after Cech failed to control the ball far out of his area.
