The Istanbul giants return to the top of the Super Lig after coming from 3-1 down to defeat Bucaspor 5-3
The result sees the Istanbul giants leapfrog Trabzonspor to the top of the league on goal difference, with both sides on 70 points with six games to go in what will surely be an exciting finale.
Bucaspor took a surprise lead when Musa Aydin scored in the 15 minute. However, the lead was not to last for long as Emre Belozoglu equalised two minutes later.
A lively home crowd were to be in wonderland once again on the 37th minue when Kadir Ozgen doubled the lead to give Sait Karafirtinalar's men the lead at half-time.
The second-half started brigtly for Bucaspor who were 3-1 up on 53 minutes with Ozgen grabbing his second goal of the game.
However, Fenerbahce were not willing to lay down and Alex's penalty in the 59th minute gave the away support renewed hope.
The Brazilian dragged his side level just four minutes later with his second of the game and Daniel Guiza's 74th minute goal gave Fenerbahce the lead for the first time in the game.
All three points were wrapped up on 90 minutes when left-back Andre Santos added some gloss to the superb comeback.
Aykut Kocaman's team are looking to win their first league title since 2007 and will be hoping for victory at home against Istanbul Buyuksehir next weekend.
