    WHAT WRIGHT SAID

Wright told Coventry’s official website of feeling no nerves from 12 yards: “Yeah, I'm the one taking it. So, I decide when I shoot, I know how I shoot. So yeah, I don't feel pressured or rushed or anything. It's just kind of confidence in the moment, I feel confident taking penalties I always have, and I believe in my ball striking abilities, so I know if I hit it correctly that, no keeper’s going to save it.”

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Wright was helped to two match-winning goals against Watford by Josh Eccles, who played an important role in the assist department. The Los Angeles native added on the efforts of his team-mate: “Prime Ronaldo all of a sudden, pulled out something I never seen. Amazing. Yeah, great pass from Josh and then I blasted it in.”
