Mammila explains where Chippa United went wrong against Mamelodi Sundowns - 'Downs were clinical, Chilli Boys couldn't hit back of the net'

Aubrey Modiba's strike and an own goal from Justice Chabalala helped Mamelodi Sundowns to defeat Chippa United in the Premier Soccer League game staged at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

It was Masandawana's fifth win in a row across all competitions but the first loss for the Chilli Boys who had initially collected three draws in the PSL.

Coach Rhulani Mokwena was impressed with his team despite the numerous injuries that locked out some of his best players.

His opposite number Morgan Mammila believes Chippa prevented Downs from playing, and the only difference was that the defending champions took their chances.
